The place was great. Comfy bed, great amenities, walking distance to nearly everything but also just off the beaten path for peace and quite. Bed is super comfy. If youre visiting Charleston do yourself a favor a spend a little extra money to treat yourself. My only cons are a number of the outlets dont work and the dryer makes a squeaky noise when running.

This was probably the nicest air b and b I have ever stayed in. Extremely clean and sheets, towels, etc. were excellent quality. The covered Porch was lovely and we enjoyed it every evening we were at the house. A lot of room and privacy for a few families to vacation together. Highly recommend!

Adorable cottage! Thank you for the excellent service and lovely accommodations. The cottage was clean, well stocked with all the necessities, and located just a short ride from King Street...we used UBER for about $8.00 each way. Seth from DUVET was just awesome...he could not have been more helpful as a local guide! Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had a great stay! The apartment had everything we needed, and it was in a perfect location — very walkable to lots of great restaurants in the historic district. Plus we were able to check in a little early, which saved the day after driving for hours in a rainstorm.

Location! This house was perfect for 6 adults and 5 small children. We loved waking up to the view of the beach each day. The house had everything we needed to get to the beach with ease including a beach cart and towels and chairs. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable for our week long stay! The guest cards were a perk and we were so glad to have them! Definitely staying here again!

We had a fabulous experience with Stay Duvet during our time in Charleston! The staff was extremely responsive and helped make our stay fantastic. The house was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It perfectly accommodated our family of 6 and provided a great respite during the heavy heat and humidity in the middle of the days. The location was excellent and allowed us to walk to so many shops, restaurants and truly just explore beautiful city streets and alley ways. I would highly recommend using them for your next vacation in Charleston.

This stay was one of the best, most comfortable and memorable for our family. The owners were so accommodating and gave us such great hospitality. The home was super clean and spotless ready for our welcome. We were able to relax and have the vacation that we actually planned for and dreamed of. Even though weve been to other beach homes, this one took put the icing on the cake. Having a heated swimming pool right down stairs was a big treat. We also went to the beach daily having access very close by. Suntanning on the sundeck was my favorite and I cant forget how we enjoyed eating breakfast on the screen on the back porch too. We slept peaceful every night listening to the Carolina soft shore winds. Thank you so much and we will make sure to join you again soon.

I loved this place, accommodations, the coffee shop and cafe! Location was super central and Mixson is just a neat place, walking distance to Park Circle in Charleston SC. It’s 10-15 min from everything. We visited Sullivan’s Island and it took about 15 min to get back, after we ate at Acme. Thank you Jack, very nicely appointed and comfortable!

What a great place. Walking distance to King Street where all the action is, yet quiet and peaceful at the house. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable, the bed was perfect and the water was hot. Highly recommend.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a great August getaway while staying at Serendipity. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, plus the location allows easy access to grocery stores, like Trader Joes and nearby restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils and dinnerware we needed IF we had wanted to cook. (smile) Who cooks when so many great restaurants are in the area? When we had a bit of trouble logging in to Netflix, customer service responded quickly and came to our rescue. In spite of the summer heat, the condo stayed comfortably cool, and after days of sightseeing, we all slept soundly on the comfy beds. Would definitely highly recommend. We had the most wonderful experience at The Palazzo! Wonderful location- can walk just about anywhere, fantastic accommodations and decor with so much room to spread out and relax with your group. We especially enjoyed the covered balcony! Service was great and we loved being able to text the concierge- we had all of our needs taken care of quickly. Will definitely be back!

80 society was a great location that allowed us to walk to everything. The parking garage 1 block over was also very convenient. The guys at Duvet really helped me out when we accidentally threw a garage bag of clothes in the trash. They took the time to dig it out of the trash and hold it for us to pick up! Above and beyond service.

We had three couples stay. All rooms were spacious and comfortable. Charm of a nearly 200 year old structure. Water pressure was very low, but we managed. One bed was a bit squeky, but the other couples never heard it. Would recommend. Large SUV, was able to pull in with side mirrors in and capable of turn around in back yard if backing out is not your thing.

Outstanding service, directions, and location. The Bungalow had everything you need in a nice quiet location with off street (alley) parking. Everything was on point. Clean! Comfortable bedding and modern appliances including the laundry. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely, comfortable apartment in fabulous location! King bed was super comfy. Loved spending time on the porch! Kitchen was awesome for morning breakfast and coffee. Loved the Stay Duvet experience from start to finish. Easy to book, exceptional and easily accessible service, code entry (instead of worrying about a key), parking, immaculate carriage home, quiet location, and so much more. The whole experience charmed my family of 4 and wed book it again without hesitation. It was that darned good! We had no issues with neighbors partying, even on a weekend, and there were great cafes, restaurants, tourist activities and walks to be had. It was all doable from this location. 192 East Bay - Memorial Day 2021There are many positives to this property - especially the location in the heart of the French Quarter. However, the booking experience with Stay Duvet was a big detractor and concern - charging 43% higher for our stay than the online VRBO booking. This was a first time experience that was not a good start (pictures attached to compare). We had already booked flights and Stay Duvet assured they would try to make it up with early/late adds to our stay and other amenities so we made the call to pay the higher price with higher expectations. Little of that materialized during our visit.Granted we had an amazing time because we were in the heart of Charleston with wonderful people - but dont charge 5 star prices if you offer 3 star service to guests especially when rates jump unexpectedly from $1453/night to $2084/night due to owners who want to maximize rates over holiday weekend without synching up with VRBO for rates offered online.Positives - clean; set up is same as pictures online with exception of no water or wine provided on arrival; great location in French Quarter near Market & restaurants; easy walk to King St; Stay Duvet responsive to texts to acknowledge issues over holiday weekendNegatives - elevator not working so need to walk 3 flights of stairs; Stay Duvets 3rd party for helping with baggage on arrival & checkout not reliable (did not respond to calls on arrival to assist but helped at checkout); only 1 FOB provided vs 2 FOBs for access (hassle for older group returning earlier than younger group at night); icemakers not working in either large fridge and not stocked; parking not suitable for large SUV and often blocked; water pressure issue for 3rd level shower; washer prone to tripping circuit; 5% credit card fee excessive; higher rate than booking on VRBO - occurred with mult Stay Duvet properties per VRBOOverall - would recommend at lower price point and awareness of what to be prepared to manage on your own while staying

We had a girls weekend with 12 close friends over the weekend and had such a wonderful time at the Cloud Nine house. The house was impeccable and so cute. The living room was large enough for us to gather. All of the mattresses were very comfortable. The bathrooms are in great condition!! The only downside is that the kitchen isnt very well stocked with pots and pans (for 12 ladies at least), but we made it work easily. It is conveniently located and well within walking distance of 3 grocery stores. It only takes about 12 minutes to get to downtown! The best part of the stay was the immediate response from the concierge staff. I would HIGHLY recommend renting Cloud Nine!

I am writing this post as a WARNING to any potential travelers.I accidentally booked a property thats on this website via airbnb. Yes, I will own that I hit the book button when I meant to send a message.Upon realizing I accidentally booked I contacted the host within 20 minutes and told them I needed to cancel.THIS IS WHERE THE WARNING COMES INTO PLAY.This property is managed by an outsourced, third party company. This company clearly works with multiple properties and hosts. I spoke with a team representative that confirmed it was ok that I booked accidentally and would get a full refund. This conversation occurred 20 minutes after booking to CANCEL.The actual host, Dave listed here, would not respond to any messages or answer any questions until I formally got Airbnb involved. They would only give me a 20% refund although I never checked into this property and canceled immediately as it was an accident.This is a warning that you will never actually communicate with the host unless something goes WRONG and they are unkind, not understanding NOR responsive.The third party management company also does not respond, is unhelpful and lies.Youve been warned.I have never written a bad review on Airbnb (or Google) in my life but after having essentially $800 stolen from me from a host I absolutely needed to leave this review.

My 2 sisters & 3 cousins & I stayed at the wonderful Mint Julep House in downtown Charleston for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect! The house is large enough so everyone had their own space, but cozy to hang out in the family room together. Perfect location to walk to all of the downtown shops & restaurants! The house had everything you might need, & the concierge services were extremely helpful & available. We would highly recommend this property, & hope to visit Charleston again in the future.

I booked a stay with this property through VRBO and was accused of property damage that my group did not cause. They showed me pictures of the damaged property but also acknowledged cleaning staff went through the house after we left but before the inspectors came. Since they had my deposit and refused to refund us the full amount, I submitted a dispute through my credit card company, and they then accused me of “going back on my word” even though I told them I didn’t cause the damage and never agreed to the cost incurred but since they had my money already I was not left with any options. These people are either swindlers and liars or naive about the staff they employ to clean their properties. Either way, stay with them at your own risk and if you do, I recommend you take pictures of everything in the house before you leave so they can’t do to you what they did to us.Edit: you can look at the screenshots from my communication with this company and see pictures of the damage they’re accusing me of. Even if you think this random internet stranger is lying, read the response below from the owners and you can judge for yourself whether this looks like “we trashed the place” if this is the kind of business you would want to take a chance at renting from.

I booked a stay at 1 of their locations in a Charleston in which I found the cleanliness to be very poor. They claim that their locations are professionally cleaned and inspected on arrival I found there to be mode on the walls in the bathroom as well as a light fixture in the kitchen which resembled something from a night club in the way that it blinked. The 2nd day into my stay I found a dehumidifier which was full of mold this makes me question the cleaning inspection that they claim to do. As if that werent enough I booked the location by accident not knowing it wasnt pet friendly. I was completely straightforward with the host prior to my arrival 12 hours to be exact that I was traveling with my girlfriend and our dog so they had 12 hours to reach out to me and discuss other arrangements as their location was not pet friendly. That was not the case. I had received several message from them a Few hours before my arrival which none of them said anything about pets. After I arrived in got settled in 12 hours After Booking I receive a message saying that I needed to pay the $100 fee as their location was clearly marked not pet friendly. I refused to pay not only due to the fact it was 12 hours later and I had already checked myself into the Room and gotten comfortable but the dog is my girlfriend service anaimal. After bringing all this to their attention they refused any sort of refund and still insist that I paid the $100 fee as their location is a private location and they do not have to follow the same guidelines as say a hotel in regards to the Ada guidelines. I have still not had a response from them in acknowledgingly the mold problem. The last thing that I got from them was a message saying that they are bringing this to air BNB arbitration division. I would not recommend Trey Taylor for his team to anybody due to their unprofessionalism and discrimination.

We booked the Sabal House for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The house was in perfect condition and Stay Duvet was extremely responsive throughout the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking to rent a home in the Charleston area!

I spent Christmas in Charleston at 80 Society. Loved the location and loved the apartment. Dave was great ( thanks for the coffee) and super responsive.The apartment was cozy and comfortable with a great kitchen. Harris Teeter, the local grocery store, is down the block with fresh seafood and produce. We had one fabulous night in just hanging out at home cooking.King Street is steps away and the Battery and Rainbow Row is a nice, beautiful walk.The restaurant next door, Muse, is an AMAZING experience.I am looking forward to staying at the property again.. ( only thing is that we were woken up at 8am one morning by maintenance loudly blowing leaves.. maybe wait until 9am?)Definitely not a deterrent from staying again, though.Absolutely charming!! Highly recommend!!

Great location! Super clean! Comfy beds and bed linens! Nice renovation! Easy check in! Quick response to any inquiries! Ample parking! Lots of great cafes in the area! Only complaint is we needed more dishes than were in the cupboards...only two salad sized plates - no dinner plates or bowls. Regardless I would definitely stay here again!

My daughter had requested some safety items for her 17 month old toddler, and these items were at the house when we arrived. The house was magnificent, very clean and there was more than enough space for 7 adults and 1 toddler. We all had our own private space, but were able to congregate in the open space. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay.

The house was really nice. Stay Duvet was very responsive to all requests and made the stay very pleasant. Would not recommend the place if you are a family as it is very noisy and is at the edge of town the neighborhood changes very quickly.

We recently stayed at 168 Spring Street Charleston, SC. There were 11 girls and we were very comfortable in the house . The house was amazing! We were able to grill one day which was great ! The kitchen was great and so was the back patio. It’s nice to have parking right next to the house , and we were so close to everything! Staff at Duvet couldn’t be any nicer ! Everything was was great ! We will definitely stay again !

We had an experience with stay duvet. I wish I could leave two separate reviews since we had ups and downs. On the positive side, Silas and Dave were wonderful to work with! When we landed in Charleston, I called our concierge and was told the property we were supposed to be staying at was sold. Silas worked quick to find us a new place to stay. Although we had to split our group of 8 into two apartments, they were close together and very nice.I couldnt have asked for two nicer replacement properties. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchens up to date, and the common rooms were comfortable. Everything was well stocked, and we truly felt at home.One negative were obviously what happened with the property and not being made aware. Another negative was that we were told we could check out of one property and keep our bags at the other while since our flights were late in the day, but as we were walking toward the other property with all of our luggage, the plans changed. It was just a bit of a hassle to make sure we were checked out of the correct place on time.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 175 St. Philip Street. What an absolutely amazing place! The staff at Stay Duvet were a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond on what they had promised. The home was beautiful, clean, and very close to all of the great shopping and restaurants in downtown Charleston. A big thanks to Quinn, at Stay Duvet, in helping make this happen! We are already looking forward to booking our next trip.

We had a girls weekend in Charleston and our place was super clean; close to everything. My only suggestion is to have extra towels; pillows and extra set of sheets for the pull out. Full length mirrors in the bedrooms would also be helpful. we had 3 girls and sharing one small mirror in the bathroom was a challenge. Staff was very accommodating when asking for the extra sheets and towels. I would stay here again.

What a wonderful house on Spring Street! We lived every minute of our stay. Very close to restaurants and sightseeing. Loved the neighborhood with quaint eating and drinking establishments. Working on this rental with Dave was phenomenal!Can’t wait to visit Charleston again and stay at this property!

I had a very lovely stay here. The apartment was well appointed with a lot of surprising detail, both large and small. It was a fabulous location, and very spacious. It is truly an oasis in the heart of downtown. Very close to some of my all-time favorite restaurants, as well as some new favorites. I will most definitely book this location again.

My friends and I had reservations for April this year and despite the ENTIRE COUNTRY BEING IN QUARANTINE we were unable to get a full refund for our required prepaid stay. We tried to rebook but with kids high school and college events in these unplanned circumstances and their unwillingness to compromise to book the exact same date for the following year all eight of us are out a chunk of money. They seemed very unconcerned, so lesson learned. Will never book through this company again and we will definitely spread the word.

Last minute our Air b n b fell through and Taylor with stay duvet found us an amazing “honey bee” loft right on king street. Very spacious living room and bed rooms. Plenty of room for 11 girls. They even made sure to drop off a brand new air mattress and comforter. Would love to stay here again if given the opportunity!

Apartment was adorable-bright, clean and the right size for two people. The shower was a big plus. In a convenient location and easy to get downtown.As a suggestion we would say that the bed needs a box spring as the mattress was very soft.Also we know that it is not a hotel but if there are two guests it would be logical to have two face cloths and two hand towels. The washer and dryer were very useful as we stayed for 9 days.Being in a hospital zone did not bother us as we live in the city and are frequented with ambulance sirens and med flights.We are looking forward to returning to Charleston.Also just to update your records I am sad to announce that the Hominy Grill has closed for good.

We stayed at a property in Charleston and it was a dream! Great home for families at the house had 4 apartments in it which included 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and a kitchenette. It was truly the best set up for a family trip. The location was superb, we were never more than a couple of minutes drive from top destinations in Charleston. You could even walk if you preferred. The house was well stocked, great selection of kitchen appliances and kitchenware. It was a great home, the staff was superb. I would absolutely recommend this home and The Duvet team.

We had a lovely stay with Stay Duvet at the Day Dreamer. The house was gorgeous, clean and very well appointed however, the bedrooms were extremely small, barely enough room to walk around the beds and bedroom closet doors bumped into the bed when opened. The same held true with entering and exiting the bedrooms as the door opened and touched the bed. It was tight! The beds were sooo comfortable! Everyone slept so well! The home is modern and furnished beautifully. They had all essentials including dish washing and laundry detergent! The living room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable for family gatherings.If the size of the bedrooms doesnt bother you it is a fabulous place to stay. They were super easy to work with and we would not hesitate to stay again! (Our stay included two adult couples, and two late teen children)

Great location, clean, updated environment, great attention to detail. Its the perfect place if you are looking for a clean comfortable launch site for seeing the sites in Charleston. It is an apartment, so dont expect the room to have large gatherings, but the flip side is that it makes it a quiet peaceful place to lay your head. Highly recommended.

Great place thats close to King Street. Recently renovated and all the guests thought the beds were very comfortable as a couple had bad backs. Extra sleeping available on two full size fold out couches meant everyone slept comfortably.

Right on the beach and we stayed on the 3rd floor and had a wonderful view of everything. we enjoyed our stay nad highly recommend this unit.

This was a last minute booking so was a little nervous. Everything was perfect. They stayed in constant contact before during and after to make sure everything was great. The unit was clean and updated. It is on the 3rd floor but that was good as it did mute the common street noise a bit. Location was convenient to a small market and several restaurants. Location is more in the upper King area but on a nice day easy to walk everywhere!! Just writing this makes me want to go back soon!

We recently stayed at The Elegance and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We go to Charleston at least once a year and usually stay at The Restoration but due to COVID we decided to get a place to ourselves to socially distance. The condo was very clean, quiet and in the best location. The check in/checkout process was very easy and the communication we received before, during and after arrival was exactly what we needed when we needed it. Upon arrival we couldn’t get the fridge to work so we texted StayDuvet and they quickly responded with a fix that worked, outside of that we had an uneventful stay and will definitely be booking with StayDuvet again. As far as the COVID cancellation policy goes they are very straightforward about their policy and we felt comfortable booking with them given the current circumstances, especially in SC.

Nice home in a very convenient location. The home was extremely clean and nicely updated. The only areas of concern were the fact that there was only one TV in the home and the family room is small for 5 adults. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

He was a pleasure to work with and truly made the trip special for our group. The experience at the home provided and the hospitality felt exceeded our expectations and when we return to Charleston, we will be sure to stay at a Stay Duvet hosted property.

Our family of 5 plus a dog very much enjoyed our stay at the Sunsetter house on St Phillip Street. The house was old and beautiful. Everything was super clean and it was an easy check in/check out. John answered all of our questions that arose during the trip. The house stayed nice and cool in the Charleston summer heat and was within walking distance to many good restaurants and shops. The 3rd floor bedrooms were perfect for our teens (dark, cool and away from the other rooms). The master suite was super spacious and nice. All the local artwork and Charleston touches throughout the house were nice additions too. I thing the only thing I would note to future guests is that is really not a quiet property for being in a “quiet neighborhood”. Traffic and pedestrian noises were ongoing both day and night. We mostly didn’t mind the noise, it was just part of the experience. We would absolutely stay here again.

Celebrated our anniversary at 80 Society, Suite E in Charleston, SC. The place was amazing - cozy & clean plus walking distance from the best shopping, sites, restaurants and bars in downtown Charleston! The staff at Stay Duvet answered questions immediately and made the process very easy!! Highly recommend!!

This rental was amazing. Perfect spot to see all the old world charm in Charleston. The place was immaculate. Comfy beds. Fantastic shower!!! Bakery right next door. 5 restaurants and bars within a block. Highly recommend this place!!!

Just stayed at the “Hip Top Suite” on Calhoun St. The place was super clean and beautiful. Off street parking was great, and being close to everything on King Street was an added bonus. Dave was attentive to our needs. We will definitely use Stay Duvet as our first choice next time we go to Charleston!

Great location, great condo, fantastic trip. Dave contacted us upon arrival and let us know that they were ready for us, even though we were early. Did a quick survey of the kitchen and the essential items - coffee - were already there. After a trip to 167 Raw Bar and Harris Teeter we were ready for the weekend.Even though you are located directly on King Street, the unit was quiet. Restaurants are close by, and the shopping is right outside the door.This is definitely the place to stay in Charleston and we look forward to returning soon.

Luke and the Duvet team took care of us on our recent stay. Clean and comfortable accommodations enough for the 14 of us that stayed on Cannon Street! Will definitely be considering them for the next visit to Charleston.

Perfect location for our family hosting an artist at SEWE 2020. Great restaurants very close by and away from the bussle of King Street. The hair dryer at the house did not work...luckily one of us packed one.

Had a great time. Pool was awesome and house was beautiful inside. It was in a great location. Easy to walk to grocery store and restaurants and fast to get ubers. Short cab ride from the beach. I would definitely go back to this house :)

Jacks place is extremely convenient from all that Charleston has to offer. We walked everywhere from this house. House itself is beautiful, the porch outside is nice to relax n shot down for a drink or morning coffee. House was clean, extra towels were great, coffee was delicious and everything was very clean. Its a perfect little quaint place for an extended weekend getaway with your special someone. I used their duvet experience site and it was very helpful addition. The concierge was super helpful and readily answered all our questions. He even held our bags after checkout. Thank you again

Dave was quick to respond and answered all our questions. He also connected us with local vendors to help ease our stay. The Spritz is a beautiful house and centrally located to King Street.

Very nicely renovated home in a conveniently located neighborhood. Lots of shopping and good food in close proximity. We would definitely stay here again anytime. The only downside is that there is only one full bath. The beds are really comfortable and the amenities were as stated.

There were 17 of us staying in the 3 apartments and it worked out great. We always received quick responses to issues/questions...when the electric went out in our bathroom outlets, they came right over and took care of it. The apartments were great for what we needed but we were not cooking meals there. It would be hard to host a large group meal as there is no dining area and only minimal kitchen supplies. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the north end of King Street and there are cafes nearby. Parking for that large of a place is minimal with only 1 spot per apartment...and our other 2 cars had to be parked at the visitor center garage (15 min walk) for $18/day with no in/out privileges. Overall, it was a good spot for our group.

My friends and I rented through Stay Duvet and had the most unbelievable experience. Our contact, Dave, was AMAZING and extremely supportive throughout our entire stay. The apartment complex was beyond perfect for our group of 15. I would HIGHLY recommend booking through this company & will absolutely be back soon!

The place was great and the back yard was perfect for our four legged friend. Kitchen worked for us to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I was sent an incorrect access code to the house so had to wait for a new one to be sent other than that no complaints.

Great place to stay. It was a perfect amount of space and cleanly with an updated appearance. They were easy to reach for any questions and very accomodating. I needed to drop my luggage off early before check in time since I was in the city earlier. They allowed me to bring my luggage and drop them off in the apartment in the AM and then they reached out when the room was ready in the PM.

Had a wonderful experience with Stay Duvet!! Booking was so easy and they were easy to reach throughout the stay. We were even able to extend our stay with a late checkout to accommodate folks that had later flights. Thanks for a great experience!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. The location could not have been more perfect! The building is historic, laden with history and charm and the unit is masterfully updated. Check in /out was perfect and the management team was extremely responsive and very easy to communicate with. I think my only drawback was we had to chase down a wine opener...and on a girls trip, wine openers are a must !!😂
