If you take medications that are a controlled substance, I would not recommend this place. I am constantly having to track down my own meds and it’s very frustrating to have to go a week without them because you can’t get ahold of anyone in the office. Dr Brown is great, but I can’t be more displeased with the rest of the rude and unprofessional staff.

Totally awesome, attentive, and down to earth.The scheduling person is wonderful despite what the previous reviewer suggested.This place is EXTREMELY BUSY and they stay booked because they are so good.I would be totally lost if they were to shut down.

Dont walk, run from these frauds.After seeing these people for 10 years while my mental health steadily declined I sought other advice. Turns out I had been incorrectly diagnosed. I had an endocrine disorder they were treating with mood mess. This guy is a quack and most likely has taken years off my life due to his incompetence.

My personal experience here has been horrible. I personally do not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is very unprofessional and extremely judgmental. I sat in the waiting room while a “nurse” read my personal information out loud in the waiting room with other patients around. They never answer the phone are not willing to work with you on your appointments, they only have one person who does prescriptions and prior authorizations and it never gets done on time I waited a week on my prescription and had to go without it because it wasn’t ready. I could just go on and on and on please do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but HERE. They are a bunch of rude, judgmental, uneducated people I wouldn’t even waste my time. It’s pathetic

They are slowly but surely bringing my wife back to me.

I encourage anyone considering this place for help to look elsewhere. Ive been coming here for over a year with no progress. Dont believe you can find out for yourself but please save yourself the trouble and find real help somewhere else. I have a list a mile long of reason why you shouldnt go here and the bad experiences Ive had.

Just for the love of god don’t go here. These people are extremely rude and make you come to the office when you requested for PTO and state they are not going to do your visit. Very rude and unprofessional. Happened twice. I would rate -100 /10 if I could. Save your time and annoyance. Go somewhere else.

Extremely hard to schedule appointment, I called in six separate times during business hours. Every call went to voicemail except for the last I never got the appointment. The woman on the phone is rude as well. Don’t waste your time with them.

I never received new patient paperwork in the mail so they wouldn’t see me after taking time off work. I confirmed that my address was correct and was told I should’ve shown up 30 minutes prior to do the paperwork. The girl doing the scheduling is very rude. I will be going somewhere else. 🙂

My Daughter likes the counseling but some staff is rude. They do not inform you that since covid that if your doing Zoom that the access code is always the same. My daughter deleted it after she used it and when next appointment came she and i was waiting for new code tried calling no answer no one called to say he we are ready for you to log on like the 2 prior times. Finally got through 2 hrs after appointment and They are refusing to take the $50 missed appointment fee off. Said if she wants to be seen it must be paid

Dr. Cathy is great. She is a calming, caring, mental health professional. As for the others in the office, all that I can say is they have always been kind and compassionate to me. They have found me time to see Dr. Cathy when there was no time to be found. I gave Psimed 5 stars for the wonderful way that I have been treated. Highest recommendation I can give.

After two weeks of trying to schedule an appointment I finally received a voicemail telling me to call back so that they can schedule an appointment with them only to be blatantly lied to saying I couldn’t be seen by anyone there. I kept being told to go to their St Albans office which I repeatedly told them that I could not because it’s too far. I then asked multiple times if I was being turned away or if they weren’t accepting new patients and I could not get a straight answer for either. The scheduling person completely refused to let me speak to any one else. Exactly what you want while seeking help for mental health. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I have traveled 2 hours with my son on more than one occasion simply to be told the therapist isn’t there that day, no call received. Today I received a letter of termination due to a no show appointment, I was in the hospital at the time. This happened despite her multiple “no shows”. It took over a month to get an authorization on a medication. I have been left in the waiting room with my autistic son for 2 hours, just to find out we had been “skipped”. Multiple unprofessional encounters.

I have recommended family and clients to PSIMED and will continue to refer those who need mental health treatment to the PSIMED clinic.

They cancel appointments without notifying clients. Make sure you call to confirm before you show up.

Fraudulent billing practices. Rude staff that ignore you until youre late and then they wont see you because youre late. Placing money owed for incorrect billing above patients welfare.

Staff is kind, doctors are great, I’d really recommend this place.
