These guys are awesome. They came threw for our group. Cant say how thankful I am for what they did. I highly recommend. They didnt have to take us on so short notice but they took us out and put us on the fish .THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING..

We had an excellent time out deep sea fishing with Captain Ben. He, and his crew are amazing. For all four of us that went, it was our first time deep sea fishing. He was patient with us and tried everything in his arsenal to catch fish. I am thankful that we chose his charter.

Capt. powers took us out on a day cruise. Boat was clean, trip was easy & insightful. Charleston is meant to be seen from the water. A good expense for residents and travelers at least once.

Capt Ben was great to deal with and displayed admirable patience as we had 3 kids on the trip (all aged 11). His interaction with them was perfect and they all had fun and caught fish! Highly recommended for not only the hardcore angler but also those with kids looking for a good time on the water.

Ben is an excellent captain and host and his boat is extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. He took us to see several groups of dolphins feeding. We got very close and yet did not disturb them. We also saw a loggerhead turtle several times.Ben is very knowledgeable about the local ecosystem. He took us on an extensive tour of the area, covering a lot of territory in a couple of hours. The creeks and marshlands are beautiful.Ben is also an excellent boat driver (this seems like it would go without saying, but not all charter boat captains are able to quietly approach an animal, to get close while staying just out of the animals way).I recommend Reel Time for any group wanting to experience the local area up close.

Wonderful fishing trip for me and my boys. We caught spanish mackerel, sea bass, weekfish and cobia and huge redfish. Filled the cooler and cant wait to go again.

Captain Ben took us out on a full day charter. Ben being from the area makes him an excellent tour guide as well as an awesome fishing guide. We were able to catch multiple sharks and red fish, staying busy fishing for 8 hours!

I took my boys (11 & 13) on a private charter with Captain Ben over our Spring Break a couple weeks ago. We had an awesome time! Captain Ben was a lot of fun to spend the morning with, and he was terrific with my boys. Carlos and Diego love to fish and weve done a lot of charters over the past 6 or 7 years, mostly in the Cape Cod area, and occasionally you run into a Captain thats not thrilled with having kids along. Not the case with Captain Ben - he taught my boys some new stuff and was completely focused on them having a good time for the entire morning. We caught some nice Redfish and had a few Dolphins swim by us as well. Nice time.I highly recommend Captain Ben for a great charter - adults or kids alike. Great boat, good fishing, exceptional captain. We toured some of the inland waterways near Folly Beach and came away totally impressed by Captain Ben’s knowledge. It’s a great fishing trip, but he’ll also point out the local birds and wildlife, tell you about the local ecosystem of pluff mud and spartina grass, and explain how it all interacts with the oyster beds and contributes to the health of the waters and the fish where you’re angling. So worth it.

As a former member of the Charleston guiding community, I can honestly tell you to look no further. Captain Ben and I previously worked together at another local guiding company, and Id be lying if I said I didnt like him immediately. His knowledge and enthusiasm with regards to costal ecology, charleston history, and of course, fishing, are unparalleled. He loves what he does so much that even the inexperienced fisherman will leave with a new found passion. The young man is absolutely contagious, and the kicker? Hes really really good at what he does. I am currently enrolled in a masters program far away from coastal Carolina, so in no way do I have any sort of favoritism towards specific companies.
