I went to SC Matchmakers because I was having trouble meeting quality men on my own. My personal matchmaker was upbeat and helped me overcome a few dating challenges. She became my trusted friend, someone I could go to and talk to about everything. The process was really fun and helped me come out of my shell, I am so very thankful and would recommend them highly. Not to mention, they were always patient and kind through the process.

I began working with SC Matchmaker 3 months ago. They quoted me $16,000. We agreed on $8,000 with 7-10 men (this was a magic number they made up). During their pitch they sounded like they had all sorts if potential matches. I told them EXACTLY what I was looking for so there was no gray area. In 3 months they sent me one guy who wasn’t a good fit at all. After not hearing from them for 2 months I emailed for Donna to call me. She did the next morning. She said “we are being very selective for you so it’s taking longer.” Not sure why the “very selective” part. Again in my conversation with them (pre signing their contract) I was straight forward withy my requests & it sounded like they had great potential matches for me. She said she would follow up 2 days later with updates. She never called. I emailed them again on Aug 25th. No response. I emailed again on Aug 26th. No response. At this point they will be hearing from my lawyer. I strongly do NOT suggest hiring this company. They are a scam.

I am a relatively new client with South Carolina Matchmakers but so far it has been a great experience. They seem to be attentive and really care. Donna called me last week just to make sure I was available during the Christmas holidays. Then sent me a super nice guy (Josh) and we have plans to meet this afternoon. I have met a couple of guys so far and they were really nice just not the one. I am sure we will most likely be friends though. Thanks ladies for making me believe in Magic and the possibility I can meet the right guy!!!

A friend had referred me to South Carolina Matchmakers, and it has been a wonderful experience! I was a little skeptical at first but hoped this would lead to better results. And it did!  There is such a difference between this and online dating. Donna and Jennifer are so caring and the coaching program is incredible and so helpful. On my second match, I met Joe and we have been seeing each other now for about two months, I am excited to see what the future holds!

You know I told my brother the last thing I expected was to find love!!!!!! It wasnt even what I was looking for. I just wanted a nice companion, someone to go places and travel with. I joined South Carolina Matchmakers to find just that but destiny had a different idea. Russ was just like me....widowed a few years ago and we love the same things like trips to New York and fine dining. We started just enjoying time together but that just grew. As an older and settled gent I did not get out to meet women for a possible great connection. Was I destine to be a single man for the rest of my days? (well, I do have a dog). I came upon South Carolina Matchmakers in a google search. I thought what a professional way to meet the right lady. I was impressed with the interview process and joined the service in November of 2019. I remember telling my consultant that I was not necessarily looking for marriage. Low and behold we have a trip planned to New York City Diamond District upon the anniversary month of November. Its a blessing and a amazing time in my life. I know I would not be sharing this information with you if it were not for the hard work and caring of South Carolina Matchmakers. I thank all of those involved in my journey thus far. Im so happy I listened to Barbara and Debbie and made the move to join this wonderful service. Im not a dater and just with all the restrictions today on where you can go I had run out of options as to where to meet. I joined a few months ago and have really enjoyed meeting some intelligent professional guys. This is exactly what I needed!!! I have been dating one guy about 6 weeks and were having fun for now so we will see.

This was the best investment I have ever made! My husband Jerec and I were just married on 11/7/20 and couldn’t be happier! We were matched 8/18 and it was history after that. I was completely forgotten 4 months into my membership. I declined three introductions because they didnt meet my age or religious criteria. I agreed to meet the fourth introduction who was supposed to be a match, however he misrepresented himself. This service is a scam.

Simply put.....wonderful people wonderful experience. Ive been a member of South Carolina Matchmakers for about 3 months and met some of the sweetest men. Professional and attractive. Im so excited to see where this journey takes me. Im banking on everything Deb said.....that I have the best chance to meet someone to share my life with. I know the quality is definitely there. I have been a member of South Carolina Matchmakers off and on for awhile now. Donna has been most kind and understanding of what I want in a woman and my likes and dislikes. Sometimes it may take longer than one wishes it to be in order to meet that special one but Donna works hard to find the right match. She does not give up and always offers encouragement and advice. Im glad that I joined South Carolina Matchmakers.

After failed attempts of trying to do this on my own I decided to check out some matchmakers. South Carolina Matchmakers was listed as one of the best in Myrtle Beach so I went in and met with Debbie about 6 months ago. My first 2 matches were good but there was just just no chemistry. Donna my matchmaker was pretty excited about my 3rd match and I have to say she got it right. June is amazing! My only complaint is I wish I would have met her 20 years ago. She the one I was waiting for and now I feel like a lucky man to have someone so special in my life. Thanks to everyone at South Carolina Matchmakers for making it happen.

Finally, a man of substance! Thank you SC matchmakers for showing me that there was a man truly meant for me! I had practically given up on love when I found SC Matchmakers. As I told my consultant, this is my last attempt at trying to meet the rightman for me. I dont NEED a man in my life but I certainly WANT a man in my life! That was 14 months ago and I have been dating this wonderful man for almost a year now. I can hardly wait to see what the holiday season brings us. It’s a total scam especially for seniors & they don’t care. I signed up over 3 years ago & had one date. The rest of their referrals didn’t call or sounded horrible. Here’s something though. I met a man on a an online dating site & he was a client as well, but they never put the 2 of us together!! They are incompetent!! Do not waste your $$$$ and it’s a LOT OF MONEY.

I got one match in less than a month. We didnt click so we agreed to move on. A few weeks later I was given another match. When I called her she had no idea who I was. I have tried contacting Donna multiple times since then and have not heard from he since. This company is absurdly expensive and does not communicate. This is a scam. Dont throw away your money.

I just wanted to share with everyone my experience with South Carolina Matchmakers. Donna and these ladies have treated me like a true friend and I really believe they are my friends. For the record I have met 4 guys and the first 3 were nice just no real connection. Charlie is different we have been busy this summer. We have done little trips to see family in Upstate and he even flew me to New York last month just to see the city (I had never been). He is so dear to me and he says the same. If you asked me last year how I felt about using a Matchmaker I would have said ......Youve got to be kidding. With that said my best friend (who is married) told me I needed to talk to this company they seemed different. She was absolutely RIGHT!!! I didnt find the perfect guy immediately but met some nice men. In Februray (yes just as COVID hit), I met Sam. Nice man and truly a gentleman. We talked for almost a week and then decided to meet for a walk thru his neighborhood. I dont know what to tell you except it just clicked. We were completely on the same page. So much so it was surprising and now were still going strong. Just wanted to give a shout out because this really works. So glad I took the plunge and did it!!!!

I joined South Carolina Matchmakers because they offered a private and confidential method of matching me to women that were compatible to me with the hope of meeting that special woman...today that special woman has a name!!!

Well I took the plunge and contacted a professional matchmaker. First introduction came today about 4 weeks after I signed up with Laurie. We talked and he is very open and honest. Im not sure but I think I just stepped out to find a great friend if nothing else. Fingers crossed Donna Im taking your advice slow and patient. Here we go!!!!!

Would definitely recommend, I’ve been dating my second match for a little over a year now. If you’re serious about finding the right person, they will actually take the time to get to know you and what you are looking for. Worth the time and effort.

Ive been single for too many years to count and joined South Carolina Matchmakers just over a year ago. Met some wonderful gentlemen and have been (for the first time in years) feeling like there is actually hope in finding Mr. Right. I totally enjoyed the dates I have been on so far and Donna has been wonderful in guiding me through the process. Steven is the most recent and I have held off my other referrals to see where this goes. He is a kind, attentive man with a great sense of humor. He keeps me laughing. Not sure where it will go but I had to say Thank You for this wonderful experience and of course Steven!

John and I met through South Carolina Matchmakers. We talked on the phone a few times. Since I was out of state at the time of those phone calls, John offered to pick me up at the airport when I came home a week later. We clicked immediately and have been together ever since. We are so alike that we often times are thinking the same thoughts at the same time.We enjoy doing many of the same activities How South Carolina Matchmakers matched us up so perfectly is a mystery. I guess they learned a lot about us from the intensive interview process. Whatever they did, John and I thank them so much. We are married a year after we met.

I just want to say thank you to Jennifer and Debbie for taking such wonderful care of me. I told you I would be a tough match so congratulations to you both for making super happy on the 3rd match. I dont want to say hes the one but it sure feels like it !!!!!!!!!!Thank you ladies and dont forget to stop in and see me.

6 years ago my marriage of 30 years ended. It took me awhile to move on. A friend told me about this service and I reluctantly checked it out. Not the best reviews but decided I was going to trust my gut and I joined. The first few months I really second guessed my decision until they sent me Lizzie. Who knew at 62 that I would be so lucky to have this amazing women in my life. We were married last summer and celebrated our fist year together last week. I just wanted to say thank you to Trish, Debbie, Donna and the entire staff at South Carolina Matchmakers for making me feel whole again.

Save your money if you are a senior65+. I joined over a year ago and am very disappointed in this service since they changed me 5 thousand dollars and I have not met anyone remotely as to what I was told they would have for me to date. I specifically asked at the interview if they had members who would match MY expectations. I was assured they had a large number of members who should match my expectations.The first name I got came a few months after I signed up. He had me on the phone for over an hour and seemed nice. We made a brunch date and a few days before he called and cancelled, saying he would reschedule but I never heard from him again. The next few names I got never called even though I called them and left a message. The fourth man was very nice but lived farther than I would have liked (100 miles) and was 10 years older than I. I agreed to meet him for lunch as Donna said he was a young 85 (I am a young 75, play golf do yoga and am very active). Well he was very nice if I was in my 80’s but I am not!The next gentleman was acceptable but no chemistry. This was 9 months after I signed up. I then got a few more names but none called me or returned my call until my last encounter with someone I still cringe when I think about him. He was weird on the phone but I decided to met him for coffee. It was a disaster. He also told me that he refused to sign up for 5 thousand but got a phone call that they needed him and he payed much less $1250!!!!.That was before Christmas and today I called to see what was happening in my matching process. As always I was told they are working on it. Well I do not think they have a very large data base of gentleman and my money was taken with their expectations of signing more up.So, Save your Money or at least get them to reduce their price if you still want to try. They won’t give a refund, I tried after 3 months and after that the owner doesn’t call you back.

In January I decided I had to take a different approach to finding Mr. Right as it seemed all I was meeting was Mr. Sooo Wrong!!! I had tried online dating but it just seemed to be fake and too much trouble. A good friend of mine suggested finding a Matchmaking service and I found South Carolina Matchmakers. Well that was mid January and I am so happy with the gentlemen I am meeting. Robert is an Engineer and he like myself had some really horrid online stories but decided to hire South Carolina Matchmakers. Its amazing these ladies can pinpoint so many things in a match!! (Thanks Donna!!) He is intelligent and fun. I really look forward to our weekends adventures! After being so frustrated with dating Im actually enjoying it and of course Robert!!!

Donna and her team were patient and truly listened to what I was (& wasnt ) looking for in a match. They were able to end the seemingly endless cycle of writing profiles, swiping right or left, and disappointment of discovering that who someone was online is not who they really are. SC matchmakers made dating fun, easy, safe, and successfull. They took the time to carefully consider my input and matched me with a truly sweet, genuine, and kind gentleman.

COLUMBIA MATCH MAKERS:WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH A COMPANY THAT IS ADVERTISED AS A PROFESSIONAL MATCH MAKER. THE CLIENT THE SENT ME DID NOT EVEN KNOW I WAS TO CALL THEM!!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY CLAIM THEY WILL GIVE A REFUND IF NOT SATISFIED AND THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANYTHEY PROMISE A REFUND , BUT REFUSED TO PAY AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.

DO NOT APPLY!!! I signed up at the end of October: was told I needed to come in for an interview before pricing would be disclosed. This should have been my first red flag. I was subjected to an AMAZING sales pitch after which in now month 6 of my contract they have delivered ZERO of what was promised.I even asked for a pro-rated refund and was refused - they had their money, right? This is a scam. Multiple complaints from the Better Business Bureau which I feel I should have looked up prior to signing the contract...Feel extremely disappointed and taken advantage of, and still, no refund.Update:: Month 9 of contract. Havent heard a word from them and ZERO dates from them

I promised I would spread the good word if you could turn me from a skeptic to a believer.I have to admit I didnt give it a full shot at the start by placing my membership on Freeze status I think thats what you call it. Anyway, you were patient with me and really took into consideration that I did NOT want my time wasted with just sending dates1st girl was a nice girl but really not spark but I could see why you made the match she was very interesting.2nd match , well, as you know me and Kelly are still going strong 11 months later and thrilled to be spending Christmas in the mountains this year together just the 2 of us.Thank you Donna and the rest of the team.I ll keep you posted and send pics of the snowK. 4 months prior South Carolina Matchmakers might have received a bad review but in January, I met Frank and he has truly changed my life. I admit I was hard on the matchmakers who kept telling me to trust the process. I admit I wanted instant results but that is the main reason I got off line, because I was getting instant results with no longevity. Frank and I will be married in Dec and I have to say it was the best decision I have ever made!

I joined back in June and honestly I was terrified. I received my 2nd match Robert in September and we are spending the holidays with my parents.I havent been the easiest client but I am so glad Donna didnt give up on me. I ve done a lot of praying about this and now I have someone to pray with me about our future. Best feeling in the world.

I joined the service about two years ago. The first year I was super disappointed in the process. Christine worked with me but I just felt like all the matches lacked what I was looking for. I took a few months off did a little soul searching and came back. They matched me with a new matchmaker Donna and within two months I was matched with Chelsea who has been the best thing to ever happen to me. We both want the same things out of life and two weeks ago I asked her to marry me. She said yes and we are getting married May of 2017! The biggest issue I had was just the time but after meeting Chelsea I realize that perfection takes time and sometimes you just need a little patience.

I went into this matchmaking thing a bit apprehensive. Im leaving it engaged. What else can I say?

A friend paid thru the nose for this dating service and never got a date with a man that was considered dating material. Not a man that she would even introduce to her friends. To short, too old, too preoccupied, to broke, and not even worth spending 10 minutes with. They say they match you up with the right person. They do not have enough business or men to fill their quota. A severe rip off!

Complete waste of money. 3 years one date that was out of my requirements. No communication since they got my money.

Absolution the worst experience I have had in dealing with a Professional Company. They misrepresent what they Do. They are a Dating Service and they did not follow what I ask for in a match for me. They send me a email of a lady to contact and she had no clue as to who I was and even called me by a different name. I would not recommend this Company

This is the biggest rip off. It starts with a high pressure sales pitch, shaming me into joining. Then they dont follow up for months. They seem to have a membership of women with no men to match them with.
