I cant say enough positives about Lowcountry Lactation Station, but most importantly Linda. Her knowledge and passion is invaluable to any new parent looking for breastfeeding support. During our appointment she went above and beyond to give thoughtful and encouraging support. Since our appointment 4 days ago, she has taken the time to check in several times and has responded to each of my emails with so much consideration and compassion. She is so caring and can honestly say I would have given up on breastfeeding if it werent for her. I feel so fortunate to have been introduced to Linda and cant thank her enough for her reassuring, informative guidance. Linda, you are a breastfeeding guru!

I started working with Linda after multiple doctors dismissed my concerns of my 4 month old daughters weight gain. Linda reassured me that my concerns were in fact valid and we worked together to create a plan for how to get my milk supply back up so I could continue my breastfeeding journey successfully. Within the first week of following Linda’s instructions, my daughter has gained 9.5 ounces and is nursing longer than her previous 2-3 minutes. I’m also pumping more milk after nursing sessions as well. Linda was incredibly professional and helpful and has given me hope when I was feeling hopeless and defeated.

Linda pretty much saved my breastfeeding journey with my new daughter. Without going into a lot of detail, I was about to give up and 2 conversations with Linda later and my daughter and I are happily breastfeeding and my supply is great now. I could not be more thankful for her guidance and expertise and truly do not have enough words to thank her!

If your breastfeeding Linda is a lifesaver!! I met her at my OBGYN ‘s office where she came to do an educational seminar before I had my baby. I had no idea how difficult breastfeeding could be. After we got home from the hospital I was so concerned my son wasn’t getting enough and he wouldn’t latch well and was going too long without getting anything as my milk had not come in yet. We went to the doctor and were on the verge of giving him formula. Linda made a suggestion to try syringe feeding him until she came the next day. When she came she taught us a new position that he loved and have been successfully breastfeeding for a month now. I’m so glad we pushed through the tough times and had Linda’s expertise and support. Even when I have a question now she continues to offer great suggestions and is quick to respond! Best $$ spent and would HIGHLY recommend her!!

My son and I recently had the pleasure of receiving Lindas services in July. Linda communicated with me extremely well before, during and after our visit. When I reached out I was stressed over delayed arrival of my milk. In response, Linda moved up our appointment by two days to accommodate a concern I felt was time sensitive. She quickly assesses and describes difficulties that mother and child can experience. For me, she was able to rule out common problems within a short period of time. This allowed us to focus on my specific challenges with nursing. If she comes to your home, she will immediately feel like an old friend. I am grateful for her help, patience, and commitment to helping me and my son. It is a pleasure to recommend her highly!

Linda was incredibly reassuring and informative. She responded promptly (same evening and set up an appointment for the next morning) and arrived on time. It was tremendously helpful to have in-person evaluation and coaching without having to leave home with a newborn. Highly recommend.

Linda has been great working with me and my baby towards our goal of exclusively breastfeeding. She is calm, patient, and thorough every time she comes to check on us. She is always prompt to answer my phone calls/texts when I have questions. Although my baby has been a difficult case I have never once felt like I couldnt keep working towards nursing because she is always so encouraging. I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing a lactation consultant.

I would recommend Mrs. Linda Merli ten million times for ANY breastfeeding needs, questions, concerns, advice, etc. I have three children and when I had my first child, I tried breastfeeding and ended up with mastitis. I had feelings of depression with waves of sadness, making any attempts of breastfeeding, unsuccessful. I believe it was the lack of education and resources. However, when my second child came along, I was determined to try again and Mrs. Linda was God-sent. She was what I needed. I was able to successfully breastfeed for nearly ten months because of her. I live a distance from Charleston so I came to her place of business and she welcomed me and my baby with such a warm heart and kind spirit. I was so comfortable with her as she helped with baby latching correctly to reduce pain. She also has a basket of tricks and goodies that she shares to help with pain so breastfeeding Mommies could be successful. I may live over 85 miles away but she is a text or phone call away and will assist with any questions or concerns that I have..After my success with the second child, when I had my third baby, it was an automatic task to contact Mrs. Linda again for a refresher. I am just as pleased with her services as I was the last time. And if there is a baby number four, I will contact her again.

We would recommend Linda to any moms! She was a blessing....came in and showed us new positions as well as putting us on a feeding plan with breastfeeding, pumping and supplementing in order to give our baby the amount of milk she needed. Our little girl loves breastfeeding now and is getting plenty of milk. Linda was patient and had so much knowledge to share!

Linda was so quick to respond to my call for help, was at my house within 3 hours of my call. She gave advice and support without judgment. Was completely patient as my tired brain had to ask her to repeat several things before my brain could register the information. She walked me through using my breast pump so efficiently that I was able to feed my 3 day old on one breast and pump on the other! She gave me a list of items that would make nursing so much easier and less painful. It is clear she has found her calling and really cares about helping you do the best for your little one. She is so kind and was available for follow up questions! If you are having any issues with breastfeeding I would highly recommend Linda and will recommend her to any friends who are struggling with breastfeeding!

I would give Linda a million stars if it were an option. She has been such an amazing resource and support - I absolutely cannot thank her enough for her help. She met with me at my home for more than 2 hours, loaned me a scale for more than a month to monitor my daughters weight gain and my milk production, and left me with all the new equipment and information I needed. She is such a gentle, kind and genuine person that I felt incredibly comfortable with her immediately. After our initial visit she has checked in with me regularly, responded promptly to my email and text questions and continued to share new information that she felt would be helpful. She has never showed any indications of judgement, impatience or anything less than absolute compassion and care.I would (and have) strongly recommend Lindas services to any mom.

There arent enough words to describe how amazing my journey has been with Linda as my consultant!! From my hospital bed after my twins were born and as exhausted as I was with preeclampsia and 16.5 hours of labor I saw her walk through my hospital room door and I told her right then I was determined to breastfeed!!! She smiled at me and just said ok we will do this!!! She has made me and my babies feel like no matter what time of the day or night nor the fact that my girls are ten months old she responds as if it were her duty in life to guide us through our beautiful breastfeeding journey!!! I cant ever repay her for coming to my house when I needed her to help with my fears and latching problems I even have a video of her showing me how to swaddle the way she does as a nurse!! I nor my twin girls would be where we are today had Linda not shown us the way to walk down this crazy road of breastfeeding!!! With loving tears in my eyes I recommend her For anything to do with breastfeeding. Anyone I ever speak to I ALWAY tell every expecting mommy about my experience with Linda Merli and Lowcountry Lactation Station. Im so grateful to have had this kind of help for every silly concern to my moments of barely pushing through Linda has truly been there!!! Other nurses at the hospital pushed rest and bottles and Linda heard my plan and helped me accomplish my goal of breastfeeding twins born prematurely!!! Six months exclusively breastfeed and now ten months still going strong!!! Thank you just doesnt seem good enough!!!
