Be forewarned: On June 22, 2018, I received a “Dear John” letter from Elliott Davis LLC, an accounting firm. I have been with my same CPA for 30 plus years until the company merged with Elliott Davis many years ago in Charleston, SC. I continued to be a client of Elliott Davis. On June 22, 2018, out of the blue, I received a cold and heartless letter from a major shareholder of Elliott Davis that stated they were “firing” me as a client. I learned that the reason was that I did not bring into the company enough revenue. In other words, Elliott Davis only wants big fishes. Before you do any business with Elliott Davis, be aware of what this company is all about. Your individual concerns are no longer their concerns. Be forewarned!!!
