I was in town from NY for the weekend and used Tar Heel the entire time. Ubers were nowhere to be found but I called to schedule a few hours before hand and just asked for pickup 15 minutes before the time I actually wanted to get picked up and they were always there!! Definitely recommend as long as you plan ahead a bit

The driver of T5 was going so so slow on the Hwy and when I went to pass him he flicked me off acting like I was the one in the wrong. Either go the speed limit or get out of the driving business. I would understand if he had a passenger but it was just him.

Used this taxi when I got out of the hospital the where supposed to pick me dio up around 2pm 2:30 pm on the ended up picking me up around 6 and made me miss a whole appointment which I didnt get treated or got my meds do to there lack of of work

My cab picked me up for a Doctor appointment with my two small children, they knew I had children and they knew I had to be somewhere at a certain time, so the driver proceeds to pick up other customers! If I wanted to ride with strangers and go all over town to THEIR destinations I would have taken the bus!! I PAY for convenience, safety, and customer service...ESPECIALLY when I’m with my children. I had to call my doctors office to let them know I’d be late. Do yourself a favor and Call Townie Transportation.

Needed a ride home from UNC Hospital. Leaving the ER, the Security Guard was filling out a voucher. Turns out the ride home was free. Ordinarily from Governors Village to town. Very reasonable. Driver was prompt, courteous and a good driver.

I order a taxi for my baby father to get to work and driver ask him could he pull out a 20 off his card he told him he doesnt have enough to pull 20 out the driver claim to not have a slip to write down his information so he asked him again could he do it to pull out 20 dollars off his card he told him the first time he doesnt. Have enough so he called me telling me asking me what was left on the card so I called tarheel Hill taxi asking them can they do it over the phone she said yes they can according to the driver they cant do that. Over the phone he lied so I feel this driver wanted to get money and be greedy cause magically he pulls out tarheel taxi slip but he said he didnt have none he didnt have to lie we were faithful tarheel taxi customers but not anymore I refused to be played by these people

5 am. No Lyft. No Uber. Tar Heel taxi comes through. Excellent ride to RDU. Thank you!

Horrible service they pick you up 30 mins late & with an attitude blaming the traffic!!! Sorry but if you have a business which provides transportation services is YOUR responsibility to go pick up your already paid rides w plenty of time a head!

Literally had my ride bail before right before my flight. Called and they were here within minutes.
