Arrived to their door at 11:30am to see a sign that says “Come in we’re OPEN” and their hours of 11-7 posted. I could hear people talking behind the door. I tried to turn the handle, but it was locked. I knocked. No response. Called the number posted on their door. No response. Knocked again. No response. But I could still hear people talking behind the door. Total waste of time.

Had to get my iPhone 8 plus battery replaced. I found this location because its very close to my home. From the very beginning the guy was very helpful and very responsive. Im not going to lie though when my phone is repaired something wasnt quite perfect and the home button didnt work. I called them up and he drove to my location pick up the phone took it back to his shop and fixed it and brought it back to me. This was absolutely the best customer service ever and now my phone works perfect. If you need a battery or glass repair this one get a 6 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

He explained several things I could do to avoid getting a virus on my computer, how to back up my information and scams to be wary of. Very nice family run business. I went in and they saw me day of and it took no more than 35 minutes!! The owner was very knowledgable and was able to fix it in no time; they also had a great comfy waiting room to sit in while my phone was being fixed. I approached the folks at HiTech Handyman with a nagging issue of slowness with my laptop. We discussed a few options but as I was able to backup files pretty easily, I elected to have wipe and reinstall of essential programs. They were very conscientious as to my making sure everything was covered.They completed the job in a couple hours and followed-up to be sure I was happy. As a young business they are very eager to be sure their clients are happy. Nice having such a service in Chapel Hill.

One Friday night a few months back, I dropped my phone on concrete + totally obliterated my screen. HiTech had one of the cheapest quotes in the Chapel Hill / Durham area I could find online + was one of the very, very few with Saturday hours. I brought him my busted phone + within a few hours, he installed a new screen for me + restored my screens long-touch capabilities. He offered follow-up services for a couple of months in case anything changed + I havent had any reoccurring issues at all! I will definitely go back to him for future tech problems.

We first went to the Apple store, but they said they could not figure out the problem and needed send it to the repair center with the cost of over $400.
