Beware, this place is a rip off. I brought in a bridesmaid dress which needed the top taken in and straps shortened as well as take the hem up. I have been in multiple weddings and have had to tailor each dress prior to the event. Every other time the cost for the same work requested was around $100. This place quoted me $440! Almost double what the dress cost. I opted to only have the top done and it was over $150 dollars and they charged a fitting fee on top of this. The work was average at best. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment. They may have a “master tailor” but it did not show in the quality of work or the ridiculous prices they charge there. Find another place to go this is both special and not worth the money.

Good quality work, reasonable price, fantastic customer services. The atmosphere is pleasant. They are very busy shop but still managed to finish my dress for a wedding in a timely fashion. Definitely recommended!

I went today to get some clothes altered and their pricing and availability was outrageous-more than double my last experience at my last tailor for the same work. And, when I said no thank you to the schedule they said they were backed up and can charge an expedited fee for the service. To which I said no thank you and asked for my clothes and they said there is a fitting fee of $5 per item, so $10 which I was happy to pay and I went to pay and they took the pins out. What was I paying for in the “fitting fee” if they don’t leave the pins in? We disagreed and I left my items there. Be warned about this tailor shop. They are expensive and are running a scam with expedition and fitting fees, claiming that their fittings are proprietary in some way. They said that they explain their costs on their door of the fitting room-2 full pages that I doubt anyone reads. There is more to the story, yet I will leave it here as a warning and wish all who read this well and advise avoiding this tailor shop.

Anytime I have taken items into this shop I have had a great experience. The folks there are very friendly and professional. We are fortunate to have this business so close to where folks live. I have not had such great service at the very busy shops in the shopping malls.

These ladies are beyond talented! They’re phenomenal! I brought in two anarkalis(indian formal wear) that are covered in embellishments (embroidery, sequins, rhinestones) and heavy (about ten pounds) the ladies here took them in and the results are amazing. As if these outfits were custom made for me.The women who work here are VERY skilled and worth every penny. They do quality work even on the most intricate pieces. If you are looking for a fantastic tailor this place is it!

Reliable and able to tailor complicated requests from my tall family. New owner is the daughter of the founder and very personable. Have recommended OT many times over more than a decade. Great with Scout uniform patches, transferring them to larger shirts and coats as kids grew and advanced.

This is a family run business and they care about their customers. I have been going to them for years because I trust them to do a good job and have it ready when they say it will be. They are very friendly and even getting technologically savvy. I moved out of Chapel Hill but I still take my clothes to them because they are the best.

It is a very efficiently run family business providing an excellent tailoring service. They will never disappoint you, clearly take a pride in what they are doing. Highly recommended.

I have had good experiences in the past. However the last two times my clothes were fixed adequately but smelled and looked dirty so I had to have them dry cleaned. I wont go back.

This may be a good place for simple things and inexpensive garments but not a place to entrust expensive clothes even for very simple alterations. I had a somewhat long sleeve on a 700 Euro new Cashemire jacket bought in Rome, Italy and asked if it can be fitted. The tailor mechanically shortened the bottom of the sleeve leaving 0.25 inch between the sleeve and the corner - realized only at home - it looks awful. ...and it seems to be such a trivial rule as I now read - if you cannot move buttons because of the button holes - shorten the sleeve from the top. No skillful tailor could release the work the way it was given to me. Awful!!!PS. Luckily another tailor was able barely to save this jacket. What became obvious that OT 1) shortened by 2.5 cminstead of 1 cm marked by them in my presence; 2) cut the material ruthlesslely and uneven like butchers (even though there was no need); 3) made very uneven stitches and 4) left less than 1 cm between the edge and buttons as I already described. Never go to OT again.

Poor quality work. Ruined an expensive suit and lied when they said they fixed it. Extremely disappointed by the fact that they didnt even care.
