Wish self-service bays had clear indications of pricing. Didnt find any info in other reviews, so heres the lowdown:Takes cash, quarters, and cards. Need to kick off the machine with $3, which gives you 3 minutes. Each additional dollar is another minute. If you try to extend with your credit card, you get charged $6. I hadnt done it before and needed 9 or so minutes; I found it not that cheap and kind of stressful with the countdown. Id probably use the laser wash next time (2 bays, $6-15).Vacuums are located both before and after the self-service bays. On each side, all the stations but one are the same (simple vacuum, $2, time not listed but something like 2 minutes). The exception is a station with a scented spot remover (a brush that foam comes out of), which also has a vacuum ($2 per 3-4 min, depending on strength). On the far side of the bays, there are also towels (microfiber and paper) and Windex to use for drying and touching up windows.

Great place to pamper your vehicle. ! The gentleman on duty, perhaps the owner, was very welcoming and professional. He sprayed down my dirty car, before in it went through the Autobath. It looks fantastic, and you get two vacuum tokens with the GOLD PACKAGE I got. Very nice establishment. I will be back next month. I love our local businesses. Check them out yall!

Autobath is my favorite car wash in the area! It is reasonably priced and does a good job getting the car clean even touch free. I let my cars get pretty nasty so occasionally there will be some baked on dust left in hard to reach places towards the underside of the car, but running it through the soft touch takes care of that sort of thing. Another unintended benefit of this wash are the gorgeous lights! I took photos of my roommates track car here and they turned out fabulous, PLUS he got a great wash. I always recommend Autobath and come every month before cars and coffee.

Good place to go wash your car staff is pretty good no rest room though but its a good place.

I CANNOT say enough good things about autobath. I brought my sons car in that had been sitting under a tree for months and was stained so bad I really thought it was hopeless. Chris who works there asked if he could help. He spent 2 hours scrubbing and cleaning until it looked better than I could have hoped!!!he spent way above and beyond the time and effort!! There are truly good and decent people left in this world!! Thank you Chris!!

Just stopped in to Autobath for the first time. Great drive-through car wash. Very clean and well-maintained facilities. And Carts with clean towels to dry your car after the wash. Available window cleaner and paper towels and interior seat and dash cleaner too.

Automatic wash was great, the vacuums are not very strong. The staff member on duty was very friendly and helpful.

I usually will come here and get the auto wash, and it gets my car fairly clean without me having to get out of the vehicle. The last time I went, I opted for one of their more expensive washes because it said I would get vacuum tokens as part of the wash. I paid for the wash but never got any tokens, and there was no attendant. So I can only guess that they are being shady to get extra money, knowing that people arent going to come back during business hours just to get their owed tokens from an attendant.Theyve been raising prices for a while now, and its far too expensive to not get what you pay for. Ill shop around next time I need my car washed.

The vacuum hoses were all in good working in order. The spray nozzles and foam brush were also in good working condition. Autobath also provides complimentary towels for after wash wipe down. Great

This car wash place is amazing!!! I always wait way too long to wash my car and it was incredibly grimy when I brought it in for my first visit here. I went through the automatic touch-less car wash and when I was doing the self vacuuming I noticed it was still kind of dirty. Recognizing that was my own fault due to how dirty it was when I started, I pulled into a self wash bay to do some touching up. One of the staff members noticed that I had already been through the automatic wash (without me saying anything!) and when he realized that my car was still dirty, he had me sit back inside of it while he washed the entire car himself from top to bottom. When it was done, it looked amazing. This was absolutely INCREDIBLE customer service, and I will definitely be coming back as a new regular as long as that staff member is there!

Pretty solid as car washes go. 6 do it yourself bays and two automatic bays. A multitude of vacuum cleaners and scent dispensers. Credit card use at all locations, change machine as well.

Drove out of my way just to visit this car wash as they have a touchless option. Paid for the most expensive touchless wash package ($17) and the machine didn’t even work. The sign stating there was a “wash in progress” kept flashing even though there was no other vehicle there and never prompted me to pull up. I have my receipt and video and will be returning another day when an attendant is there to try and get a refund.I have emailed and called the listed phone number for the business numerous times (I left voicemails as well) and have not received a callback._____________________________________________I went back to the car wash today and was able to speak with the owner and attendant. They acknowledged my review and then allowed me to use the car wash as it has now been repaired.

The hood of my car is still dirty. I paid $15 and my car barely looks any better. There was a gentleman there that sprayed my car down before I went in and it still is not very clean. It was a waste of time and money for me.

I’m sorry, but this car wash isn’t great! It didn’t even get all the dirt off my car, did not include drying, and you had to pay extra for the vacuums afterwards.

This is the best place around for an automatic car wash, go to the soft touch instead of the touch less and you wont be disappointed. Car comes out clean and nearly dry every time. Bring a towel and finish off the hot spots and in 2 minutes it looks perfect.

I used their automatic car wash service for my car and it left a large area of scratch marks on my front hood. In addition, the car was not washed clean to my expectation. When I discovered the scratches, I went back to talk to the staff, who at the time promised me that hed let the owner know and the owner would call me back within the next two days. Well, he never did! In fact, I tried to come back to the place to talk to the on-site staff again, but got no further assistance. I would never use their service again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Always top of the line auto cleaning centers.

The automatic carwash lacks the pressure to properly clean. After passing through the car wash in a dirty prius, there were still pine needles sitting on the roof and the dirt was not washed off. A simple swipe with a wet wipe quickly removed dirt on the surface. Clearly, a more powerful washer could have done better. It was a waste of time and money. If you go there, get the most expensive clean. For $8, not even loose dirt is sluced off!!

There is an attendant on-site helping people and not wearing a mask. Not only is this a state mandate, but businesses should be furnishing these for employees that are customer facing.

Don’t waste your money on the automatic wash, car is actually dirtier than it was when I entered the wash — I got the $15 (most expensive) one and there’s a film covering in most spots (added a picture of the black painted hood). It looked like it’s been collecting dust for weeks, and you can see the line of dirt added to my window

I got my car washed for the first time here today and thought it was a great service for the price! I used the light touch auto wash and vacuuming station, and there are self-service stations available, as well as a touchless auto wash station. And theyve got rainbow lighting inside, and whats not to like about that?! :)

I just moved to Chapel Hill and I am so glad i found this carwash near our house. When they saw that we used a different service than the one the car needed, they came out to help us and washed the car with a special product to remove the mold. they are very friendly and professional

The only place in town to get a car wash at 2am. Not that most people need that. But the autowash is acceptable and got my car fairly clean, and Im not particular enough to go much more demanding than that.With the all the whiz bang Rain-X Hot Wax Tricolor Confetti options added, you can do the autowash for $15. Not bad, though Im sure doing it on your own would be a pile cheaper.

There is a separate place to vacuum and dry your car. Clean and dry wipes are provided free of charge to dry your car.The place is usually crowded on weekends. You might want to get early there or clean your car on weekdays

I use to love this place when my friends and I would go wash our cars, SUV, trucks, we had to find somewhere else to go we ware very dissatisfied with the equities of the equipment,spinding almost 30 $ a peace to was our vehicle is unbelievable

This review is for the automated touchless car wash, and... oof. Admittedly my car was really dusty, but the deluxe car wash actually made my windshield more dirty (I think all the dust from the top of my car ran down the windshield and wasnt washed off), and cleaned nothing off the front of my car. Do not recommend.

Used the automatic drive thru wash. Did fine but I was not too happy when I realized there were places left unwashed .... i had water colors on some sides of my car.

Several self service bays as well as a touches laser wash and a soft touch wash to pull through. The prices are on par with any other location in the area.

I go here for the car vacuums. Some have scent and some are scent free, but all take cards so you dont have to worry about having cash or change.

They offer soft touch, no touch, and DIY. Vacs arent free but they do offer free towels to use.

Before I get into the nuts and bolts, you need to know (1) I do not own a vehicle...yet! But I have a lot of experience using Carwash facilities. Good weather and bad. (2) I have a friend who is a very busy person. She does a lot of volunteer work, but neglects her car. As a gift, I lied and told her I had to go to a carwash to help a friend. Enter Autobath carwash on MLK Jr. Blvd. Early this year I watched the renovation of this facility. Dont know if it was a new owner, or a progressive existing owner who figured out how to upgrade his business. Bottom-line: everything I used, worked. Did not loose any quarters. Did not have to hunt down the non-existent attendant. Spent a few minutes figuring out the operation or the equipment, but it was well worth it. Results: nicely cleaned car. Inside and out; tires nice and shiny. Coat of wax on the exterior. Smell good stuff on the inside. All for just under $10.00 bucks. Check them out.

Edit: Theyve since updated this carwash, and it has a drive through with soft touch. Works great! I really appreciate having a car wash that gets the job done.

I rarely, if ever, leave reviews but I felt compelled to here. I had such a great experience at Autobath. One of the other reviews mentioned how the attendant was rude to him. I find that very hard to believe because the same attendant went out of his way to help me with my car. Not only did he help me with the wash, but he saw that I was missing the cap to my wiper fluid and he gave me a suggestion of where I could find a new one without going to the dealer. I strongly suggest you go to Autobath, if anything because the people they hire really look after you.

This. Place. Rocks! Brought my truck here to have it washed in the touchless carwash and paid $15 for the most expensive wash there. Carwash didnt do what it was supposed to do, and the owner approached me and would not let me leave until we could wash it again and get it right. He sent us through the second wash at no charge and made sure that we got out and checked and were happy before we left!Super super super nice guy! THIS is how you do business! Will definitely be returning here!

Laser wash is a joke. The spot free water is not filtered and will spot almost instantly after the dryer hits it. Residue everywhere. Avoid it. Not good for the chemicals to dry on your paint. As the owner tried to say below, we gave it another shot. Lol just as bad, now some of the spots actually marked the plastic too. We have many pictures. If you care about your vehicle dont take it here.

BEWARE!!Every time I come here i am losing my coins, few times employee helped me getting money back from machines but last time I visited i was short on coins so i used my credit card to pay the short amount which was $1.50, few days later I checked my card account and i was charged $5 instead. Since there is no receipt or anything I waisted money again here.

Love this place...great equipment and during certain hours when manager is there, I appreciate the clean towels they allow us to use to dry the car.

I paid 15 for the toucheless wash Laserwash. Aside from the fact that it appeared to wash the car unevenly (more soap/water/etc on one side than the other), the car didnt look truly clean when I came out. I ran my fingers over the hood and fingers were slightly soiled. The car wasnt cleaned at all (or at least not everywhere). Waste of time and money. (Note: the car was not dirty in any unconventional sense when I brought it in. It was a normal dirty, so these results do not reflect unusual circumstances or conditions).

Water from the laser wash knocked my toyota emblem off the front of the car, wanted to check at the war wash for it...but the manager interceded. Manager acted very rude implying that it was my fault the emblem came off and the machines are touchless. However, I showed him another emblem that also was knocked loose after the last wash. He never took responsibility or even apologized for the situation, which is fine I guess. But what really bothered me is that he acted that I was looking for money from the situation. What poor customer service that is simply out of touch with society.People will probably still go here because its convenient, but I wont.

I have washed my car here a few times but wont again. The rinse water used is very dirty. After doing a high pressure wash with soap then rinsing, I can honestly say that my car was dirtier than when I brought it. I used a clean shammy to dry the car and when I was done the shammy was completely black with dirt. This car wash can make an extremely dirty car slightly less dirty...but thats about it.
