I am traveling cross country as crew for 4 cyclists doing the Trans America Trail. I am driving a Ford F-150 and wanted a safety check prior to departure. Its been on the road for a while. Ken and the new guy (:)) helped me out quickly. Adam topped off my coolant and took care of my tire pressure and I was out in no time. Purchased a new Explorer June 30, 2021 from Merle Kelly Ford and it was the smoothest and best experience with a dealership I have had. I traded two vehicles for one and this is about the 20th new Ford I have purchased in my life so I have been through a few. It was low key, just the facts and moved to the bottom line and settled with a fair deal without the normal run around. Both Scott Ewen and Jeff Lassman were great to do business with and would highly recommend them and this dealership.

Took truck in for warranty work. They had it 3 weeks and they did nothing. So we picked it up. 2 weeks later they said they have parts and need it first thing Monday morning. Dropped it of Sunday night. Here it is week and half later and they just started to work on it. Yep they lost my future business. Its simple dont take your vehicle there. Since the place sold it seems to be going down hill.

The service I received with my oil change and vehicle check up was fine. I gave the one star to the cleaning crew. I scheduled my vehicle to be completely cleaned at the same time I had my vehicle serviced. The cleaning my car received was absolutely horrendous. Spots all over my car. Windows not washed. I had a streak of ice cream down my console that I purposely left there. It was still there. There was dried muddy water on my windshield. My vehicle had been vacuumed out...some. Dash was still dusty. The GPS screen was filthy where they had smeared the dust. When I took up the protective paper the put down on the drivers side floor, there was dirty footprints put there by the cleaning crew underneath. It was just horrible. Thanks to Damion I didnt have to pay for it. He was just as pod as I was. Thank you Damion.

We were staying overnight in Chanute KS while traveling and had a bad experience while we were there that made it necessary for us to have our truck repaired before continuing on our trip.The service department at Merle Kelly Ford was able to get us in on very short notice and make the necessary repairs to our truck so we could get back on the road the same day.They also let us use a car while our truck was being repaired so that we could go have breakfast and run a few errands.Also, one of the salesman was kind enough to allow my wife to use his phone charger while we waited for the truck repairs to be completed.Top notch customer service all the way around!!Thank you to the whole team at Merle Kelly Ford for making our bad day better :-)

My issue was with service, I thought the tech working on my truck was knowledgeable, and I understand that my break down was unscheduled and time was not on my side and of course my repair was no quick fix, my problem was with the service writer or service manager, I use my pickup for over the road work, and when it’s down I don’t make money, I think they understood that, what they did not understand was I need updates to tell my dispatch and customers on when they can expect me, I kept calling just wanting an update or eta on when I could expect it done just even some sort of estimate on time and day, and they kept telling me they would go ask the tech and call back...... no call so hours later I’d try again, same thing.... no call back, next day same thing no call back, now by dispatch and customer are mad at me because all I can tell them is idk when I’ll be on the road again telling me I could loose my contract and and loose my money all because they will not give me a basic estimate on when my truck will be done, not a hey sometime tomorrow or sometime the next day nothing. That does not set well with me and paints a picture to me for the dealer as a whole. I get we all get busy but so am I and so are my customers I promise my service too, and they need answers that I won’t be given

Went here to get a problem fixed with my f250 no go wanted to keep my vehicle overnight came in for diagnostic and find out estimate started tearing it down and wanted to leave me stranded then told me on two other problems I was having that nothing was wrong with it still have same problems

Had our car repaired here due to sheer convenience after a breakdown nearby. Our emergency towing coverage got us to Merle Kelly Ford.Communication from Damien was good but I wasnt impressed when they went ahead and repaired our car without having authorization and providing an estimate because [they] knew we needed it fixed and were so far from home. That became challenge #1.After picking the car up and reviewing the invoice I was unimpressed that the story from the tech states with approval, technician removed and replaced fuel pump driver module. With approval... Whomever approved this (not me) must have also been who decided that the parts should be sold for 23% above MSRP list price from Ford. Probably because they knew we were so far from home.Would I use them again? Well, with no other options sure I would. If I had another option. Nope!

Terrible salesman experience. Garren lied to us about a vehicle that he was supposed to show us. When we drove there excited to look at it he told us it sold 2 days ago. When he had my fiances info to let her know if he sold it but never did. Will never do business with them again.

They did great work but when i went to pick up my truck someone had removed my 18 month olds brand new stroller out of it or just took it and i had bought it the day before i dropped off my vehicle which really sucked. Other then that the work was excellent.

Bought my car from here a year ago, and have had nothing but trouble since. Ive had to replace both CV axles and the drive shaft. Took it to them to have the transmission flushed. I was without my vehicle for 5 days and was charged $112.00 for a service that was not performed. The statement says: Verified customer concern, technician test drove vehicle. Recommends taking to manufacturer. I am not impressed, nor will I ever be going back.

This is the second truck Ive bought from Merle Kelly and I wouldnt buy anywhere else. Super easy to work with. Incredibly helpful. Up front with pricing. I drove over 90 minutes to buy from them and Ill do it again in a couple of years when my wife gets a new car.

Update....these guys offer super service! We broke down at the doggie park in Chanute Kansas on the afternoon of 10/20/19. I walked from the park to their dealership to see if they could help us (less than a mile). They sent two techs over to troubleshoot the problem and found the fuel pump was bad. They helped us to obtain tow service and had the truck repaired the next day. They also arranged transportation to get the family back home from the park.
