Took delivery of 10 cubic yards of organic topsoil; delivered early and as expected. On a slightly inclined driveway, the dump slightly missed the blue tarp I had laid out, but not by much. There was some clumping due to humidity has expected, but overall the soil was nice and loose.

The best price offered when looked around landscape supply company. It was pretty easy to order on line. Delivery was on the date as promised and quality of material was great. Over all, very pleased with the order and will use the service again for sure.

We ordered topsoil from Saunders. Credit card was charged for the full amount a week before the actual delivery date. Our delivery arrived around 5:30pm. A lot of big clumps of clay. The gentleman who delivered the soil was surprised by the high clay content too so he took some pictures.The following morning (Saturday) after a lot of effort to break down the basket ball-sized clumps, we discovered many pieces of rocks and stones in the clay. We called Saunders immediately and provided our order number and contact info. The woman who answered our call was dismissive and rude. She kept saying this is to be expected and typical of the local soil. When we questioned about so much clay and stones and asked to speak to a manager, she put us on hold for over 30 minutes before telling us to expect a callback the following workday (Monday).Today is Wednesday and we have not received any call. This was the first and will be the last time we do business with this company. I shall advise my friends and neighbors to think twice before placing any order.

Ordered a half cord of firewood. The wood arrived on time and the communication was fantastic. The driver that delivered the wood was friendly and professional. The wood itself was well seasoned and ready to burn. A great experience overall. Will use them again next year….

The wood was delivered in the rain. The person who delivered it took a large branch off our tree. It has been a year since then and the wood still refuses to catch because it wasn’t well seasoned (even though they advertised it would be). When I reached out to them I never heard back. I would not recommend.

I was looking for masonry sand for an above-ground pool bed. I called for information and the person was very courteous and helpful. I placed my order online and the process was very smooth. The online volume calculator for masonry sand for my pool bed was very straightforward. On the day of delivery I received a phone call about 15 minutes prior to arrival. The driver noticed overhead power lines that prevented him from dumping exactly where I had planned, but by maneuvering the truck he was able to get the sand within a few feet of where I wanted it. The location did not interfere with parking my cars in my driveway. Everyone was very courteous throughout the process. I would re-order from Saunders Landscape Supply again!

I ordered sand, gravel and river rock. We were working on a patio and two walkways. The rocks were to help with an erosion issue. I put in my order one night around 9:30pm and received a reply that it would be delivered the next day between 8-12am. Right on schedule the call came that the driver was 30 minutes out. He had to go back and reload each time because I’d ordered three different things. The driver was extremely polite and professional and he dumped each load as close to the back fence as he could. Worked out beautifully. He also told me the River rock would change colors when it rained. He was right and it went from a dusty brown to grays, blues, reds and regular stone colors. Perfect. Very pleased with the price, product and service. Will definitely use them again if need arises.

The 10 cubic yards of hardwood mulch I ordered was delivered on 5/25/2021. The delivery man was very considerate where the mulch was going to be dumped because it was going to cover some of the grass on both sides of a one car driveway. I did not care. I can plant grass seed when I get all the mulch laid. The calculation was easy to use. I had called several mulch places and felt this was the best deal. I used to go to the the West Ox Rd. disposal service to pick up free mulch but I am getting older and it is hell lifting large plastic containers into my van. I have not laid all of the mulch but it is here and worth every penny getting it delivered.

My driveway is tricky and I was sure that I was going to have to move 10 cubic yards of mulch from the side of the road. But much to my delight (and gratitude) they were able to manœuvre around trees poles and a stone wall to put it in a far more convenient location. I WILL ABSOLUTELY ORDER FROM SAUNDERS AGAIN.

I have bought firewood from Saunders several times now. Easy to arrange the delivery, always on time. No complaints. Why not 5 stars? In the half-cord of seasoned firewood that they just delivered, the individual pieces were huge, many of them split only once. A substantial portion of the load is too large to fit into our wood stove. Theyre big even for a fireplace, and will be difficult to get burning. I havent had that problem before, but now Ive got a lot of firewood that will be difficult to use.

Everything went according to plan for the time of delivery, friendly driver who was knowledgeable and able to adjust when the inevitable problem arose for placement of the dirt. He couldnt back into my driveway to dump the load, as planned, so he got as close to the curb, I layed out the tarp, and he got it pretty well on it. It had to be on the street in front of the house, though. The only disappointments was that 1) there seemed to be a LOT of large clay-based clods in the Organic Soil with Compost. Like boulder sized clods. I filled a 4x8 bed with them, and 2) now that Im growing things in the garden, there seems to be a nutrient deficit wherever I use this soil. As in things are not growing. Fertilizer and an enriched potting soil is definitely needed for anything to grow, and since this is supposed to have compost in it, I am disappointed.

Weve used Saunders for our double-shredded hardwood mulch for several years. The mulch is always clean and of very good quality, with no stones or weeds. And I appreciate how easy it is to order online. It would be helpful to know the general time window of delivery, whether morning, afternoon or evening, but yesterday we did receive a notification call about an hour before it arrived, which was helpful. The driver was professional and very courteous, as always. We always recommend them to our friends.

Competitive pricing on soil, with a quick delivery window available when I ordered, and delivered right to the spot I requested.I ordered the organic topsoil which is advertised as sifted to remove large rocks and clumps, though the soil itself may still clump, which is understandable. When transporting the soil to my raised beds, I did find a lot of large clumps of clay which I was able to break up by hand, but more concerning is that it contained some pieces of plastic garbage, like pieces of ripped bags (like from bagged soil), pieces of plastic cup lids, something bright red and inflexible, not sure what it was in its former life.There was not a lot of this detritus in the topsoil, and otherwise the soil looked good.For the great pricing, excellent delivery timing and communication, and otherwise pretty good quality of product, Id give it 5 stars, but removed one because of the pieces of garbage not being sifted out as expected.

Saunders = solid. Weve used them two years in a row now for bulk delivery of mulch (year 1) and top soil (year 2). Theyre pricing is great. They deliver on time and following our requests for drop location. They may not have everything you want but I would recommend checking them out because if they do, theyre a great value.

Favorable pricing for delivered mulch that is good quality.Driver was amazing with her ability to dump 15 yards of mulch in the right spot and in as compact a pile as possible. This time I has to lower the rating as they were not as careful during the delivery and took down several branches off some trees along the driveway. Ordering was easy. There was a follow-up email explaining what to expect on delivery day and how to prepare for delivery. As stated in the email, the only time slot for delivery is between 7 AM and 7 PM. This is not critical because if you mark the delivery spot as directed, the driver will dump your load accordingly. In other words, you dont have to be at home when the truck arrives.I happened to be home when the truck arrived around 1 PM. The driver pulled up and inspected the location drop off area and proceeded to maneuver his vehicle to honor as close as possible the designated space. He was careful not to dump too close to a growing hedge area. The mulch was dumped into a neat pile and the driver was off to refill his truck for further delivers.We ordered the double shredded variety and are pleased with the overall quality. This is pure mulch and nothing else. After spreading approximately 7 cubic yards, we found nothing that did not belong in the mix.I recommend Saunders for their quality and service and look forward to using them again in the coming years.

Had 5 cu yards of cedar mulch delivered after not being able to get more delivered from a different company I had used. Saunders delivered first thing in the morning and the quality of the mulch was excellent. I’m not sure if they are generous with their deliveries, or if the first company I used shorted me. However, the 5 yards I had delivered appeared to be more than the 8 yards I supposedly had delivered from the other guys, and this product seems far superior.Moving forward, Saunders will be getting my business without question!

Placed an order easily by phone. Was delivered on time when they said it was and the wood chips were amazing! Not sure if there is always cedar in them or if I just lucked out but our neighbors were commenting how great it smelled for days after we put the wood chips down.

While the available days for delivery were few and there was 3 weeks of wait time before the received the mulch, I like Saunders products, price, and delivery process. I totally forgot about the delivery day and forgot to spread tarp as my instructions for delivery had eluded to. I was not home and received a message from the driver and was able to coordinated with the driver.
