I am thrilled with my finished project! We did a complete remodel of our kitchen. We’ve been in our house for 22 yrs, and it was definitely time for a face lift. We gathered 3 estimates at the beginning. The proposals reminded me of the Three Bears. One was way too expensive (because lots of project management levels), one was very frugal (with more of a hands-off feel), and we settled on the one that felt just right. We worked with the designer named Hakan. He created a new plan for our kitchen with some minor reconstruction ideas (moved the wall-oven to a different wall, and reconfigured the island). He created a beautiful 3-D plan on his computer for us to be able to visualize it. His price was reasonable. In fact, we decided to go with hardwood floors. Instead of charging us extra for them to sub out the flooring, Hakan suggested we handle the flooring separately, to bring down our cost, and that’s what we did. Hakan was super easy to work with if we wanted to switch around some ideas, and he provided great help (and patience!) to me in picking out colors and other design elements like backsplash tile and counter top. He was very responsive by phone and text with my many questions. He went with us to the tile store to select our actual countertop slab. Ultimately he would say that yes, this is our kitchen, but it has his name on it too, and he cares about the finished project. Once the project actually started, the workmen were polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. The project manager would let us know what days to expect them, and they always showed up on the days they said. Sometimes a tad later than projected, but that is to be expected. We only had a few days “off” when we didn’t have a crew here, and it was mainly because we were waiting for the cabinet shipment, or them juggling scheduling demands. We started demolition on December 1st, and they finished January 15th. Not bad for a complete remodel. I won’t say that there were no hiccups at all, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. For instance, they discovered a weight-bearing beam across where the vent ductwork was supposed to go. They solved it by building a soffit for the duct work to be housed. I actually like this look better than what was planned. I will say I was glad that I could work from home and be here for questions that came up. Mostly little ones, like “what size grout do you want?”, or to make sure the light outlets were in a good spot. My one critique would be that sometimes the communication between team members was a little lacking. Bottom line is, yes, we would hire Dream Design back for other remodeling projects. I have a stunningly beautiful kitchen!

We are incredibly satisfied with the work performed by Dream Design and are extremely excited with our beautiful new kitchen! From the beginning, Yong was incredibly responsive via email, phone, and text. The price/quote was comparable to two other companies, but we chose Dream Design based on reviews, the scope of the quote, the design, and how flexible and responsive he was to our ideas and desired projects.The remodel included gutting/reconfiguring the kitchen, replacing some windows, removing walls between dining room and living room, removing popcorn ceiling on our lower level family room and new flooring throughout the main level/lower level. Apart from a completely new kitchen (cabinets, recessed lighting, massive island, range hood), some extra things we had completed included running Ethernet cables, replacing light fixtures/fan, replacing outlets/switches/cover plates, and installing a water filtration system. This was a huge project, but it was completely finished in under 3 months. During demolition, a water leak was found and we had a drainage/structural team address and fix the foundation issue. Yong was incredibly flexible with holding off on completing this section of the house until it was fixed/inspected. Yong handled every other minor issue professionally and always kept me in the loop on progress.During the renovation, we lived upstairs and the team was very accommodating in closing off the upstairs with plastic/tape to mitigate the construction dust. Everyone on the team was professional, polite, and performed quality work. After each day, the team did a really good job cleaning and straightening up and this was much appreciated as we were still living in the house. At the end of the remodel, there were just few things we asked Yong to be touched up and this was addressed quickly.This was our first remodel, so there are a few things I’d recommend, to include knowing exactly what you want completed. Yong does a good job listing everything out, but I suggest walking around your space and really think about each thing you want done. Yong will do an awesome job with turning your ideas into something amazing. I would highly recommend this team and we actually are having them come back for some additional work upstairs.

We are very satisfied and happy with our newly finished basement/in-law suite. This was our first big renovation job so we were a little apprehensive about the whole process. We received several estimates and decided to go with Yong based on his quote and design ideas. During the initial design phase at his studio he provided several different layout options and even added few additional features at no extra cost. He made the whole process as seamless as possible. Like any big project we encountered some unforeseen issues but Yong and his crew were very quick and responsive to resolve them. Yong also had his crew do some additional work outside of the scope of the project without charging us extra.We were very fortunate to have found Dream Design. They far exceeded our expectations. His crew were all very pleasant and respectful. We definitely look forward to working with them again in the future.

We meet with a number of contractors regarding estimates to remodel our basement. Dream Design Construction was the last contractor we meet with, I must say I wish they were the first (it would have saved me a lot of time). Their estimates were amazing compared to all the other estimates we received, but the kicker was their knowledge and presentation. After visiting our home to discuss the work we wanted to have done, within days we visited Yongs office where he architect a design of exactly what we wanted and was excellent in providing guidance on what he thought should be done to enhance the look. His crew is outstanding and very professional. The work they do is second to none! We will definitely use Dream Design Constructions again and recommend them to anyone. Very happy with my basement. No project is to small or to large for these guys. Awesome crew

Great team to work with. Spent a lot of time with us to figure out how best to use the basement space that we had to work with and completed the job within the timeframe.

Yongs team worked diligently on our project, and it was managed very well. The work was on schedule (actually a few days earlier) and the quality is superior. We plan to hire them again for our future projects.

Quality of work is great and they were quick to respond and resolve any issues that arose which given my past experience with other companies exceeded my expectations. Second time using Dream Design and would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Went very well. Very responsive and upfront to changes that always occur during a remodel. Daily workers were courteous and knew each of their trades. Cleaned up every day. Overall time management was top notch. Materials used were excellent. Very happy with the results. Looking forward to using them again.
