Came in about a month or two ago to get a tensioner pulley installed and replace and install a new water pump. Dropped the car off and got it back in less than 48 hours. Been driving it everyday since and no problems at all they did a great job.

I couldnt be happier with my experience. I have a 2001 Lexus LS 430 with the optional Air Suspension package. At the time I brought my car to Precision it had 147,000 miles on the odometer and needed a great deal of maintenance work, including a blown air suspension and front and rear brake rotors and pads. After doing a great deal of research on the clublexus.com forum, I decided to convert the original air suspension to an OEM Sport Suspension package using original Lexus parts that I ordered. Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly would not do this conversion as they deemed it to be too complicated. After Steve, one of the owners of Precision, discussed the work required with his lead mechanic, Victor, Steve stated that Victor felt very comfortable performing the necessary work. Please keep in mind that this air suspension to conventional sport spring and shock conversion is very complicated and requires a great deal of planning, care and expertise. Victor did an amazing job! After driving the car an additional 5,000 miles since the work was completed I can now say with total conviction that you wont find a better shop in Northern Virginia. The car drives straight, the steering accurate and tight. The new suspension is quiet and smooth, yet firm. The whole suspension and brake system just feels very well sorted. Of special note, due to Victors planning and research before he tackled the project, not a single engine light or code popped up after the conversion. Every time I drive the car Im reminded of how happy I am to have found Precision Import Service. So happy that I recently brought my girlfriends 2004 BMW X3 with 105,000 miles in for new shocks and brakes. Steves business partner, Don, is their BMW expert and did a great job on her BMW.By nature I have very high, yet realistic, expectations. Precision has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

I needed a transmission flush. These guys were able to do it that day and at a great price. They also found that an idler pulley was going bad and replaced it. I have used them previously and they have always done a great job at a fair price. Highly recommend them!!

I was tired of paying top dollar to have my BMW 3-series serviced at the dealer, so I decided to try Precision Import. I never went back to the dealer. Steve is an honest broker who has always treated me right and serviced my car just as well, if not better, than the dealer. You can trust them and they do good work. Highly recommended.

Id highly recommend Precision Import Services they did a great job on replacing my pads and rotors. Most recently they replaced the lower front control arms. They are my go to shop for all my auto repair needs.

Super service from very knowledgeable staff. Just had my back brakes on my Audi A6 replaced by them but sensors keep getting on. I returned the car. It were the front brakes sensors that caused the problem. They were installed by a different garage. They replaced the sensors for free. Great service. Highly recommended.

Highly Recommend! I took my Audi there for brake replacement a few months ago. While all of the independent imported mechanics gave estimates that were almost as high as the Audi dealership, Precision Import Service gave a reasonable quote and took good care of my car. I do not know a lot about cars. My low tire pressure light came on, and the morning after I filled my tires, one appeared to have lost some air. Suspecting a leak, I took it to Precision Import Service because of the reviews. Well, apparently I just had a bad tire pressure gauge, and there was no leak. They adjusted all of my tires to the correct pressure and didnt charge me a thing.BOTH of my headlights went out the next day. I was feeling a bit superstitious about returning to Precision, because it seemed like either bad luck or foul play. I decided I didnt have anything to lose, and went back a few days later (avoiding night-time driving in the meantime). I had run some errands and didnt check their hours, so I barged in right at closing time on a Saturday. They fixed both of my headlights on the spot (two bulbs out at once!) and said the payment system was off for the day, so just stop by on Monday to pay for the bulbs. I was amazed.So, I returned on Monday and paid for the bulbs -- just the bulbs.I am from a small town. Precision Import Service made me feel like I was back in my small town, and that they were long time family friends or something to give me that level of service. That level of service is rare in Northern VA. I will not hesitate to bring my car back to them or recommend them to a friend in need.

Just moved to Northern VA and needed to find a trustworthy mechanic shop. These guys are professional, honest, and (unlike a lot of other places Ive been to) will treat you with respect.Had my check engine light come on and brought it in to have it checked out. They ran the diagnostics, explained to me the problem in easy-to-understand terms, and answered all my questions about how this problem affects overall performance, other parts of the car, etc.In the end, they were completely understanding of my situation as a student and didnt try to upsell me anything or scare me into getting unnecessary repairs.I will absolutely go back when I have any future car troubles.

While probably not the least expensive shop youll save in comparison with dealers (at least BMW dealers). Theyve done a good job whenever I bring my wifes X5 there with a problem. And now they also work on domestic vehicles also.

My car stalled on me twice one afternoon, so I decided to bring it to Precision and have it checked. They were nice to accept it without prior arrangement. I got a call the next morning and was told that the check engine light came on while it was being tested. I agreed to have it diagnosed and was later told that the purge valve, which is part of the emission system... needs to be replaced. I told them to go ahead and replace it.I picked up the car when they told me it was ready and drove it home with no issues. After two days of using it, the check engine light came on again. When I reported it, I was told that the check engine light was never reset because it did not come on after the purge valve was installed and to bring it back so they can reset it.I brought the car back, but sometime during the day, I got a call from them telling me that the ignition switch does not feel right and needs to be replaced.Thinking it might have something to do with the issue, I agreed to have it replaced.Picked up the car hoping they have solved the problem, but after three days of using it, the light was back on again. After being charged almost $700, the problem was never solved.I brought the car back which sat there for a day... only to be told the next day, that they think they may have found the problem, but cant work on it until after three days. I took the car and drove it home with CEL still on. It was very disappointing.Without any assurance that they have found the real problem, I decided not to bring the car back because I began to realize that it was a hit or miss situation and the bill was running up.Lesson learned…take it to a dealer They are expensive, but they hit the nail on the head with real precision... no back and forth.

The staff here are both super friendly and helpful in everyway! They take the time to explain any issues and make sure I always fully understand what they are doing when I bring my car in for service.I went in the first time for an oil change and got out very quickly. The second time I went in was recently for my alternator which needed to be replaced. I had my car towed to their shop overnight and received their call the next day around noon informing me that everything was taken care of and my car was ready to go!They treat me like family everytime and are extremely reliable, as well as knowledgeable. I definetly recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for car service that care about receiving professional, affordable and overall exceptional quality of work.

Brought my car here to get new suspension bushings and exhaust hangers installed, and to get the brakes flushed. After dropping it off, I got a call a few hours later with prices for all the work. The quote on the suspension was a bit more than I was willing to pay, so I declined that repair, but they were extremely courteous, got the other work done extremely rapidly, and did an excellent job.They have great customer service, are very communicative, and keep one of the cleanest shops Ive ever seen. In addition, theyre next door to an Alfa Romeo mechanic (to whom they rent a bay), so if youre fond of old roadsters, there are a lot of amazing cars to check out in their parking lot. I actually first came here just to look at the Alfas, and it wasnt until over a year later that I actually came here for repairs. I wish I had done so sooner, as they are head and shoulders above the other local shops.If you need repairs in the Merrifield area, and youre willing to pay a small premium for high-quality work, look no further.

Most expensive oil change Ive ever hadI decided to go to this service company based on all the amazing reviews on the Customer Lobby site I found online, and I guess I was a bit naive because I didnt ask specifically how much their service was when I dropped off my car for an oil change and additional service checks. I thought theyd be reasonably priced because of their location (def. no frills in the appearance either), and Ive never paid more than $45 for an oil change so I thought that was pretty standard although I try to use coupons and typically get them for around $30. Well, I used the 25% off coupon on their website and got the regular oil, and the oil change ended up costing $65! They charged $30 for the oil change and about $40 for the oil. When I asked about the oil charge, they just said they cant get the oil as cheap as the large chain stores. I guess this is why you wont see any prices listed on their website.
