We have heavy trash every Thursday in my subdivision. Cleaned up the small branches from the trees and bagged them up and set it at the curb for heavy trash. They come and didn’t pick up anything but one bag my som said. So I call and got no response to why the bags were not picked up. The response I got was there is a limit for heavy trash. I have been here 11 years and never not once have I had an issue since this is the company provided through HOA. I have spoken to office personnel and have been calling a supervisor to address the issue. I have had one person state that they will be here in a hour and another more concern with a card that I stop to ask them for a month ago about do’s and don’t. Neither individual could give a direct answer nor supply the information of this limit they have. Over the past 4 months now they have become very sloppy with pickup. I’m very disappointed and never really give complaints nor reviews for anything but I have had it!!! No one wants to be accounted for the company lack of concern for the customer.

Do not use this company if you actually want your garbage picked up. You pay in advance and then cant get your garbage picked up. I have called 7 times in the past week and still no one has picked up my garbage. I need to hire someone to haul off the trash and the can so I can just be done with these people. I havent had my garbage picked up in 15 days.

The worst company. They are very inconsistent. You never know when your trash will be picked up or left behind. We have called many times and the issues are never remedied. They truly do not care. When they finally showed up this week they only picked up half the street, Im assuming they couldnt fit anymore trash into the truck since they never come. Its become extremely unsanitary.

Only got a 1 star because I had to chose it to write a review. You pay for a service that you never get. They try and tell you that you owe money when your bank statement says different. I would rather pay a higher fee and actually get serviced on schedule everytime than deal with this. I have begged and begged for over a month for them to come get their trash can off my property. As always with this company you are told something and it NEVER happens!!!!! Pay the extra 20 bucks and use hotchkiss!!!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED. This company collects your money but NOT your trash, they dont give credits for not showing up either. They have an excuse every week as to why they cant pick up...truck problems, driver issues, and the list goes on and on. This has been an ongoing issue and the office tells you they will be out today and get you all cleaned up and it NEVER happens, we havent had ours picked up in nearly 3 weeks with maggots and stink. Had to hire a new trash pickup service. BEWARE!!! For years they did well for us and I dont know what happened but this past year has gone down hill. I only gave a 1 star because if I had a choice they would receive NO stars.

I’ve been calling this office EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST 2 weeks because my trash hasn’t gotten picked up for 2 WEEKS !!!! Every time I talk to someone in the office they always say that they don’t know why isn’t wasn’t picked up. I’ve spoken to a female worker called Denise and she always says she will send someone over to see if there’s anything wrong with the situation. I really don’t know what to do anymore, I’m really close to taking my trash can over to the location and dump it in front of the door steps … but I won’t. There is nothing wrong with the payment because they always tell me that’s not the issue. So it’s either the office personnel aren’t doing their jobs correctly or they have a LAZY DRIVER that doesn’t care to do HER JOB !!!! I PAY FOR MY TRASH TO GET PICKED UP AND AS A PAYING CUSTOMER I EXPECT FOR IT TO BE DONE!!!!!

I understand there policies that you have to call for them to pick up a couch or a bed or anything extra stuff out of the usual that’s not garbage disposal!!I am beyond done with this company I had to call to tell them that they did not pick up the stuff that they were told. I understand they’re super busy but this is why you’re paying extra for them to pick it up but for them to leave it out there. I’m so upset!!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They never show up. Have every excuse as to why they do arrive . Promise to fix the situation yet problem gets worse . This company has people at there mercy who cant utilize city trash service . I wish there was someone at this place who cared but there is not . They only care if they are going to get paid for there lack of services. Do your self a favor and use Hotchkiss. Its a little more expensive but at least they show up.

OFS are some really good down home friendly go getters and they are always on time and the office personnel are so polite and that roll off driver is probably one of the most amazing smart and strong young man I have ever known !!! He is a legend and will be remembered with a beautiful helper as well

If you are looking for trash service simply keep looking. They constantly miss 1 of the 2 days a week they are scheduled to pickup your trash. For this month they have picked up only twice it’s the 20th of the month. This is not only my trash but 5 other neighbors also.I understand things happen and we’ve been patient but we’re done.The biggest problem with this service company is leadership no supervision to speak to they don’t return calls and when you call back for the 5th day in a row the same person you’ve spoke with every time you’ve called acts like they have never spoken with you before. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY The service is not rendered!!

15 days (9/17/20) Ive had this trash container with a big hole on bottom with a note in english and Spanish stating to throw away and here it is again today (10/1/20)! I have spoken to the manager and nothing has happened! This is the worst trash company ever! 15 days! Why!!!!

Worst company Ive dealt with. Youd be a lucky one to have your trash picked up regularly. When you call they are annoyed that youre upset. There isnt a science to this. I pay and they are supposed to pick up the trash. Been like this for years but unfortunately we dont have other options. Needs a new owner badly. Making money off people and not providing service.

When you pay for a service you expect that service to happen! I spoke to 3 different people and was told the same amount by 2 of them so I paid that amount to cover the last month at the address I am living but then I was told I owed the complete amount for 3 full months. Trash was piled up over the mailbox and I would call and they said they would take care of it but never did. Now they want me to pay another full month when I move in 2 days. Then $5-$6 for 4-5 bags to be picked up when I paid already. I was assured it was taken care of and would be picked up. I will NEVER do business with this company again! Maybe they should leave notes so one would know what the other is doing. Poor communication and low customer service.

This is a bad trash residential compañía we hire we leave Saturday our trash outside they dont pick up we think maybe they dont have time maybe Wednesday nothing happen they passed thru the street they pick up my neighbors trash not mines again ,we call several times to the company they tell us theyre going to fix the problem nothing yet so Im waiting to if the pick-up Saturday if they dont do it Im going to report the company to city of Houston is an a shame all my neighbors are complaining about that smells of the trash first the worker told me I dont pay i pay my bill since July 10 we almost august but I see isnt only us many of my neighbors around they have trash outside what is wrong with this company....

They are horrible they did not pick up my trash in 2 weeks I kept calling every single day until they came to pick it up. Then they knocked all my trash cans down and put them across my drive way as revenge! How ridiculous and unprofessional is that. I escalated it all the way to management but still it took 2 weeks to get my trash picked up!

Such a great experience. Always prompt and on time. But the front office is top notch, especially Jenny. So professional and always follows up. I’d highly recommend them as a solid waste company for any neighborhood. Thanks again Jenny for making it so easy to work with your team!

Horrible experience with OFS. I’m looking into getting pine trails off there business! They lie and biggest of all workers stealing trash cans and other belongings from neighborhood yards. I have it all on camera! HOAS please do not use there services as you will find long term substantial damages to your neighborhood.

I have called multiple times this week about my trash not being picked up and they say ok we will have someone stop by. Almost 5 full trash cans and it looks like a trashy house because the trash not being picked up. I went 3 weeks back in March without my trash being picked up. It is very unprofessional to say the least.

The representative that answers the phone is pure NASTY. She has absolutely no professionalism and was extremely rude upon me calling to figure out why my trash hadnt been picked up. She didnt give her name and didnt even state the name of the company before I was placed on hold. She needs to be retrained or find a different professional as trash services are never serious enough to be hollering at the consumer about. She raised her voice several times while we spoke and automatically had an attitude. Do not recommend this business. Just burn your trash instead.

My trash has been out at the street in bins for almost 3 weeks now. We have repeatedly called in and told lie after lie. The driver has insisted that he has picked up the trash on our house, when in fact he picks up our neighbors trash drives past our house and turns around in other neighbors drive way (damaging their driveway) and drives past the house a second time.Management has been no help in resolving this matter.

Called to figure out the pricing and methods of payment and person who picked up was sweet and informative . Me and my husband went to the office to pay to start service and had several questions and all were answered . Great customer service.

The trash crew is the worst at not collecting trash. If trash feels a little on the heavy side they will literally leave it there. I saw them with my own eyes. The only time I never have a problem is when I literally stand by my trash when they come to insure they pick it up. Who wants to do that every trash day? Its really a reflection of the leadership at the company. I cant really blame the crew. Management doesnt take any action or is afraid to.

Trash placed to the road in a timely fashion,no pick up called the office at 4:30 pm no answer, hours are as stated 8am til 5pm.But still no one answered, called the after hour number no answer. Worst service Ive ever gotten, but I guess is my fault for not checking the reviews. Very bad customer service, even the truck driver is very rude. If its Family owned and thats the service they give i wouldnt want to come across any family member. I guess theyre family values must the same as the service they provide.Update: you really think I want to call your office so they can hang up on me like theyve done before?!?!?. Maybe its time for you to throw your employees to the trash and hire some new ones. We just purchased service from OFS and already they haven’t picked up on our scheduled pick up day. It’s 6 pm. We were told to have it out by 6am. We have called around before, to other companies and were told they don’t service our area before we called OFS as a last resort. Already regretting paying OFS for service. This company is the worst for trash service in our area. They are scheduled to pick up twice a week in our neighborhood and we are lucky if we get once a week. With no one answering your calls or when they do the excuse is oh we are running behind and then no one shows up!

I never had any issues with this company I actually like them but I rate a 3 because..Today just now my trash got picked up and it’s 10:36pm....The driver was driving & bumping. No one helping him!! He was all by himselfWhich I dnt think is professional at all. No one cameTo help him. I felt so bad he was tired, drenched in sweat & it’s late plus there’s no street lights in my area. So driving tht big truck in the dark, picking up everyone’s trash house by house by himself...I sure hope he gets a good Pay!

Giving 1 star is too much!! BAD SERVICE! BEWARE!!! The drivers are rude, the office staff will tell lie after lie about trash not getting picked up. The service men will leave your road littered with your cans and lids in the roadway causing dangerous situations for drivers, bike riders, runners and walkers. The owner or whoever the after hours phone number is for is unresponsive to questions or request. If this family owned company represented my family name I would be ashamed!

Really disappointed on these guys not picking my trash up they dont want to pick up my trash they feel its a little heavy and dont pick it up its been 2 times allready not happy at all.

Our standard pickup days are Wednesday and Saturday. Many times we are not getting garbage picked up those days, but picked up the next day in afternoon or evening. If all of us are missed the designated day, we leave garbage out overnight and sometimes animals get into it and causes garbage to get on roads.Its becoming more frequent that we are not getting serviced on designated days.Do you need to get more trucks or hire more people?

I make a payment and get lies a d no trash picked up call to complain and start ignoring my calls no answer or get a machine. This is poor customer service and attention to a customer if im expected to pay i expect my trash picked up. Or a credit for my payment.

You pay the bill, they dont pick up. You make the call to ask them why , they tell you a lie.You can call and call until they start dodging your calls and say the person thats supposed to be helping you will call you back. THEN GUESS WHAT ??? THEY STOP CALLING YOU BACK.

I love this company I have not had an issue with them till this day. They pick up all your trash. Unlike WM or REPUBLIC. I always support local good companies.

Our neighborhood is contracted with OFS for our garbage pickup. I moved here in August and since then they have not collected our garbage at least 10 times. It is seems sometimes they feel like it or sometimes they dont. If your HOA is looking for a garbage contractor id suggest avoiding this one.

Been calling for 3 weeks now and still no service always the same thing its in route. But nothing so by August 1st or 2nd if its not picked up or I dont have the money back on my credit card I will be reporting them and a suite will be filed against them to many people have been done wrong by them and just here recently. So if any management reads this that can do something before it gets worse u have my info so you know my number would appreciate some service yhanks

I have used OFS for about 20 years. As of the 15th of June, 2019, they have missed the last 3 pickups. Ive called several times and have been told they would be out, they would send a supervisor, they would call the local driver, etc. I LOVE to keep my business local; however, I no longer feel I can do that. Ive checked the trash just to make sure there is nothing in the cans that cannot be picked up...theres nothing.... I just dont understand.BTW, the office folks are really nice - I know theyre trying... the drivers are just passing our house by (I know, my father-in-law sits on the porch all day).

They were very good for a long time but in the last couple of years the guys that pick up the trash are rude & dont care. I had told them many times to not put my empty cans on the road. They never stopped & I had to buy 3 trash cans over a period of time because they put it on the line in the road & while I would be gone a car would come by & hit the can. About a month ago they were almost to my driveway & I could hear a fire truck coming down our road. There was a car that went into the ditch a couple of houses down & ambulances were already there. I had just the trash bags out & the jerk picking up decided he wanted to try & beat the fire truck to throw my bags in the garbage truck. Well he missed the truck with 1 & the fire truck had to honk their horn even though they had their siren on to get the jerk to get out of the road. So the fire truck ran over that bag & trash went all over the road. I told the jerk thanks for spreading my trash & all he had to say was there was nothing I could do about it & they moved on. I had to pick all the trash in the road. What really ticks me off is there was an emergency with the fire truck & he wanted to get that trash & move on with no respect for the fire truck & the emergency they were going to. That was enough for me & I canceled the service.

My trash along with my neighbors has not been picked up for over 7 days now. Our days are on Tuesday and Fridays and now I have trash all over the road and yard due to them not collecting. I will be switching service.

The absolute WORST. Never in my life have I had to call a company I pay and remind them to do their job. Every single week. We have used this service for the past several years. They have always been friendly and courteous on the phone. The guys on the truck have always picked up our trash and never missed a day. This company is better than the one I have used previously. I have only positive things to say about these guys who work so hard picking up my trash.

I have never had a worse experience with a company than I have with this one. You pay 3 months in advance for their services, and they dont deliver. When you call to tell them that they didnt pick up your trash, a woman named Rita answers. Rita is, hands down, the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my adult life, and I have worked retail, folks. (Rita, I implore you to seek employment elsewhere. Customer service just isnt your calling.) Rita will then tell you that you still owe them money, even though you have prepaid for services that did not receive. She will invent some convoluted story in which you paid cash to the driver of the garbage truck. Who on earth pays the driver of the garbage truck?! And then just when you think youve reached the peak of crazy in this conversation, and attempt to explain to Rita that you did not, nor have you ever, paid your bill to the driver of the garbage truck...SHE ADDS ONTO THIS MYTHICAL BILL. Oh, well if you DIDNT pay the driver of the garbage truck, then thats ANOTHER sixty dollars!Are you trolling us, Rita? Are you pushing the limits of terrible customer service, just to see how far you can go? Are we all subjects in the novel youre writing about the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE IN THE WORLD? If this is the case Rita, then truly you are a master at your craft. Stephen King himself could not have invented a character worse than you.

Truck is always breaking down. They dont pick up garbage on assigned days.Wont return phone calls, person I talked to has snotty attitude, if I get anyone at all.

I have had trouble with this company since March 2019 and just cancelled services for September. The billing took months to get corrected and it was a nightmare having to deal with this every time billing came around amongst other issues. Now I am currently waiting on them to pick up their trash can which I have had outside for 5 days. Called back today and was told it would be picked up today and its already almost 7pm and it is still there. Im done!

The manager is condescending and rude. Workers flipped me off when I told them that they forgot my trash. Management allows employees to behave rudely. They have stopped my service 3 times without explaining why. They finally explained to me that its over a 40 dollar balance the previous occupant owed. When I told her they need to get there stuff together, she tells me they have their stuff together. Then why did it take 2 missed pickups and 3 phone calls for someone to tell me why yall quit picking up my trash? I just started service with them on April 20.

1 star because I cant give them zero. This company is a joke. Wouldnt pick up my trash because it was over 40 lbs and had rocks in it. I removed the air stone from the container and went off to find the driver. He said he had no problem coming back by after everything else was done. Called the office back to let them know that I removed the offending items and spoke to the driver. She informed me that she just got off the phone with him and told him to absolutely NOT come back by. Then she stated that she emailed my MUD district and the attorney with my address. What a freaking idiot. Ill be getting with my MUD district and my attorney, as this is ridiculous and offensive to say the least.

I get why they have a horrible rating! Their pick up service is not reliable! Its trash service, you pick up peoples trash on their designated days, not whenever you feel like it! This place is horrible! We have had them at two different residents, and shocker, they have provided sucky service at both. They dont care that they dont pick up your trash. They actually get mad at you for calling to say they never picked the trash up! When a customer pays for something they expect to get it. I dont think thats asking for much. Also the after hours number is a freaking joke, no one ever answers! Since they dont care to hold up their end of the deal or even fix the problem I am taking my complaint to the BBB!

We have called numerous times to have our trash picked up, they miss us all the time, promises to pick it up mean nothing. We have been customers for 20 years. This place does not pick up like they are supposed to. What is sad is, there is no other place to go to. They are the only company in Channelview. I give them a 1 star because there isnt anything lower. All I had in my trash can was 2 small grocery trash bags and some miselanies items of trash with water at the bottom because it had rained the night before.They literly only took the two trash bags out and left everything else.I have pictures for proof.From the before and after because this wasnt the first time this has happened.Their also so disrespectful.And sometimes dont even pick up the trash.The just go right by are house.I mean what is the whole point of paying if their not going to do their jobs right.

They dont always pick up the garbage the scheduled day and trash sets on the street for several days. The guys has no respect for your trash cans, I always have to dig them out of the ditch. Dont be 1 day late on your bill, they will not pick it up, but they can be late picking up your trash. So something is wrong with this picture for sure. I stop using them after this quarter.

My husband has put a washing machine out on the curb on large trash day 3 times and it has not been picked up . He has called the office multiple times and was told they will notify the driver to pick it up and then call us back. No pickup and no call back. We contacted our HOA and they refer us back to the trash company. This is unacceptable.

Dear Management,I am writing to you about a trash that was not removed on July 15th 2019 at 14224 Waxahachie. Per your driver the dumpster was being blocked by a car. The owner was out there and waved driver so he could hold on so Arnulfo(shop owner) could move the car. According to your staff when called they cant wait because the driver had a full route. It wouldnt have taken more than any more than 4 minutes to move the car and have your driver empty the dumpster.Other companies at least honk to get your attention or try to empty the dumpsters.I understand that they have over 100 + routes but they should at least waited this could have alleviated all this hassle calls and email. Weve called several times and have been toldnover and over this few days that someone will come and remove the trash and it has not yet to be done. This has stopped a cleaning project because our dumpster is full and we need that emptied so we can continue on the project of cleaning out the shop. I signed up with trash service with this company and they have not picked up my trash for two weeks yesterday I called and they advised oh we will have someone out tonight. Never showed up. So today I was told we will send a truck out here it is 2:49pm nothing no show. I would not suggest going with this company. Very unprofessional when you call the girl in the office thinks it’s funny the trash has not been picked up. It’s very sad when you pay for service and no one ever comes. Please refund my credit card since I can’t get a response from you are anyone else in the office. I didn’t even want to give one star.

I have rented dumpsters to do clean out of rental properties and there rate is always fair. They dropped off and picked up when they were scheduled to do so.

Worst trash company ever. If you want honesty, they do not pick up the trash. I called last week and the week before to let the manager know they did not pick up the trash. I was told by Stephanie and Andra the manager Rita was not available to speak and there was no manager on duty. The comments from Local guide on this site giving 4 and 5 stars is a sick joke saying workers or competition are all leaving comments. If you believe over 60+ competitive workers want to slam this company, get some help! We are real customers. I have spoken to the answering service and was promised a call back, it never happened. To date, my trash is still sitting outside on the curb and yesterday was another trash day. I just contacted GUD to see if this contract can get canceled. It is a disgrace to bill customers for work that has not been done, even more so have local guide employees posting comments to manipulate people into believing this 4 and 5 star garbage they were hired to put out. This company and their workers are sad and whomever owns this business is a con artist (Gilbert Guerra).***Update just spoke to Rita the manager she stated an attorney from Radcliffe and Bobbit told her they can collect money from the customers without picking up the trash if they make the people who build the homes pick up the trash. Aka stealing money without providing service. She refused to provide the attorneys name which means shes lying. The owner Gilbert Guerra is a thief that needs to be in jail along with these employees lying on law firms thinking that will scare people. They better think again!

Have used OFS for trash removal at our lake house since 2010. In that time the service has run from poor to nonexistent. As other reviewers have noted, it often takes numerous calls and days to finally have trash picked up in spite of a hefty quarterly bill for REGULARLY SCHEDULED SERVICE twice a week. Only reason they lasted this long was finding a RELIABLE replacement. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you enjoy frustration. Only wish I could post review with 0 stars. Horrible.

Missed me six times in six weeks, called six times and got same run-a-round as other reviewers. Funny part is I just got my bill for the next three Months. Already filed it in file 13.P.S. Neighbors have same problem and have already jumped ship. Having service with these guys is like having theeth pulled without anesthesia.

Always picks my trash up on time and puts my cans back neatly ❤️ Mrs.Rita is the best to talk to on the phone also! So sweet and understanding!

Three times no trash pickup over 6 months. Excuses are driver said there is no trash set out. Its Thursday 445 pm now and pickup was supposed to be Tuesday. The office told me Tuesday and Wednesday they could not make contact with their own employee(driver ) now it us Thursday evening and they made contact and the driver says there is no trash out. Lol. This service is a joke!!!!!

Its has been 3 weeks since our trash has been picked up. Called over, and over again to main office. They said our trash will be picked up. Called emergency number, and she would never call us back. Horrible trash service. Horrible customer service. They dont even deserve one star! Paid for service we never received. We want our money back.

I have been their customer for over a year now and I have been noticing that trash is being left outside of the can and the wind is blowing it all over the yard. So when I called today to let them know that I was upset I didnt get an apology nor did I get any sort of help from this company. They did not care that they left our trashcan in the middle of our driveway which means I cant get into my driveway without getting out of my car and moving the trashcan (not a huge deal because its not raining but not what I expect) nor did they care that our neighbors trash cans were completely on their side and trash was all in our ditches and in our front yards. They have one job to do, pick up the trash and put it in their truck. Leaving a bagful of loose stinky trash for me to pick up and not caring at all means you lose my business.

Speaking strictly from a masochistic point of view. This is the absolute best waste service company in the multi verse, the sheer amount of mental, physical, and emotional torture that I have out myself through by continuing to use this company is truly mind boggling. Unfortunately, I am not a masochist. I actually enjoy being able to smile in the morning as I sip my coffee knowing that my yard doesnt look like a landfill because the company that I have contracted to take the trash from my home has done there job. If there were someway for me to give this google review negative 5 stars I surely would. But in all seriousness. Unless you enjoy the rage one feels when you get into your car to take your kids to school in the morning only to be greeted with the mountain of trash that has now piled up from 2 weeks of skipped service, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE. THIS. COMPANY. Years of anger counseling are much more expensive than just using ANY of this companys competition.

2 week without trash pick up. Repeated phone calls to their office. Constant lies that the driver is running late and will be here soon.Accepting money in advance for services not provided is a form of theft. These people need to be put out of business and the owner criminally prosecuted.

We have been using this service for going on 3 years now.......great service........never had a bad experience.....if you miss your payment date,,,,they have picked up trash atleast one more time until payment is made.....reflects positively for me personally....good rates

Used to be very reliable, Now only come once a week. Wont return phone calls. But the minute your late, they wont pick up. We didnt recieve our bill, so payment was late. SO IS TRASH SERVICE!!!

This company made an illegal agreement with Harris County Fresh Water Supply District 47 that did not give customers the option to opt out of its agreement, which gives it monopolistic control of who, when, and what trash services customers in District 47 can obtain. This agreement is in direct violation to the Sherman Anti-Trust Act because it aims at discouraging competition among trash-collection-service companies in the area.

If I could give them less than one star I would. They have frequently driven by my husband as he runs out at 5 am on a Saturday morning to put the trash out. sometimes, they dont even pick it up if its too heavy or they dont want to. It took forever for me to find but there IS another company that picks up in our area and I wanted to pass their info along. its Hotchkiss Disposal out of Baytown. We havent tried them yet but anything is better than OFS.

Trash is not getting picked up and I get no response when I call or text.

Reading over the reviews, it is almost appears that the competition is posting these negative reviews. WHo knows, maybe I am the odd man out. I actually receive exceptional service from OFS, as do my neighbors. If our regularly scheduled date falls on a holiday, they pick up the following day. The only time my trash was not picked up was my fault as I was overdue on the bill and didnt realize it. I called to make a payment (instead of mailing in one) and they even offered to send a unit out to pick up our trash that afternoon. Overall, they are much better than the competition (Hotchkiss) that is available in my area.

OFS is one of the best trash services in my area, everyone in office is considerate of the issues each customer has and does all they can to help. I love the service here
