Gary and crew did a great job of removing the old roof and replacing it in a timely manner. Greatly appreciated the attention to making sure the debris was all cleaned up.

Gary has rehabbed two homes for me in the past and is currently working on a third. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and always comes with a solution for any problems he faces. He does everything from framing and drywall to roofing and gutters. He is the definition of a general contractor and I highly recommend him! Great prices and even better quality.

Gary and his crew did an azing job fixing our roof and siding from hail damage! The job was done timely and they took extra care to keep my yard clear of debris for my kids. I hired GDK Construction to replace my shingles on my roof. Gary gave a very fair estimate and they did a professional job getting it replaced. My yard was cleaned up after also. Would recommend to anyone.We also had them do plumbing for us and install cabinets in our salon, everything turned out great!

So far Gary came out on time and was very thorough with his assessment of our house and what needs to be done. He explained everything to where we understood everything thats going to be done. Unlike a few other companies that have been out to give us estimates.We will repost once his work is completed.

Removed mobile trailer siding, sealed leaks around windows, installed insulation and re-installed siding. Gary did this efficiently and cleaned up all debris. We are very happy with his services.

I first met with Gary on January 27th. He looked at my patio I explained the job that I needed done., He gave me a quote, and then said that he would begin the job April 1st if the ground had thawed. April 1st came and went. I contacted him he said that he was having trouble getting permits and there was a shortage of concrete. I explained him I already had the permit and after several text messages I finally gave up.

I am in the process of selling my home and needed an expert opinion on some issues that have been brought up with the buyer’s inspection. I found GDK construction on a neighborhood website with wonderful reviews and gave Gary Johnson a call. He showed up the next morning and inspected the roof, interior walls, and a few other issues. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the home, and all issues within the home. He was very courteous and helpful with my questions. He completed the walk through and addressed my concerns. I was given a report the next day with his findings and explanations. I would recommend GDK to anyone looking for an expert in homes/roofing/and mold repair, as I have already recommended him to friends!

This man Gary came to our home and stated he had over 30 years of experience. He never did a final walk through to catch any thing that needed to be repaired, of which there were many. Once he had his money he was very difficult to get a hold of. He promised things that did not get done. He installed door knobs in closet doors incorrectly and thought just putting a crappy putty in the mistake would be okay.Promised to install a window well cover that never came, and to install 2 ceiling fans which also never happened. Per his contract he was to supply everything for a full bathroom, when in fact that was not the case.This project was to finish my basement so my elderly Aunt could live there, once he had his money he was very difficult to reach. Closet doors should be replace or money should be reimbursed. Also the carpet was laid poorly showing seams in the main living area. Carpet should be replaced or money reimbursed.My aunt had purchased over $400.00 worth of plumbing supplies, which he should have knocked off the price of the contract.He had come back to install the backsplash she requested months later in her kitchen, put it up but did not complete the project. He was asked to put a bench in the shower, and did not.I feel he took advantage of my elderly aunt.
