I just wanna say on behalf of the team here at Zinc.Inc. we do our best in these crazy times we are living in now . The staff is sometimes short and have been working long hours but they do thier best to make your experience a good one. The manager and owner do thier best to make everyone satisfied. Please be patient and understanding of the policys and regulations. We dont make them but we have to enforce them . Also car and truck shortages are something thats going to happen . Reserved a cargo van online in the morning for later that day. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told they did not have the vehicle available despite my reservation. They couldn’t refund me on site and I got charged $75 for a no show fee. I had to call an 800 number with an awful automated menu to get a refund, which will take a week to process. Went to U-haul across the street and they saved the day. Just go to U-haul, budget isn’t worth the savings.

I wanna say thank you Michael for going the extra step in making my truck experience great . The truck was clean , washed , sanitized, and feeling fresh. Also thank u for explaining the insurance information .

There were good and bad things with my experience. The customer service when picked up the truck was excellent, the truck was a little beat up but seemed to run perfectly fine, and they had the truck I reserved. Initially they were going to give me a 26 foot truck with a lift gate but I pointed out I would much rather just have a ramp and they switched out the trucks without any problems. The are definitely the cheapest for a cross country move.Fast forward to my road trip out to Raleigh North Carolina. The diesel emission fluid sensor malfunctioned and was detecting the DEF tank was empty even though it was full and shut the engine down. This happened at 2 AM in New Mexico at a truck stop. I was able to contact roadside assistance very quickly and the staff was very nice. However I was unable to receive any assistance until the offices in the Phoenix area open for the day in order for a supervisor to authorize a mechanic to come out or for a replacement truck to come to my location.When the supervisor was finally able to be contacted in the Phoenix area a mechanic came out and was able to reset the sensor after about 15 minutes after his arrival. I was stuck at the truckstop for about eight hours so i was now eight hours behind schedule for the move. The mechanic they came out was nice and very efficient. Budget needs to change their procedures for after hours roadside assistance requests. It seems I waited around for eight hours for no other reason then budget not having a supervisor to authorize a service call.And as of the time of this review(about a week)I still have not received any contact from anyone at budget apologizing, offering some type of future discount, or even asking what happened during the trip.

First of all my experience here was shocking and surprising. But in the end it worked out great . I wanted to get a head start on loading so I asked to pick up my truck and auto trailer early. The guy tells me sure I can pick up my truck early . We go in and he ask us if we wanted to leave the trailer for tomorrow so we can load it first. I thought it was funny he would offer that but did it anyways . Told us it would be fine and the guy working the next day wouldnt mind in fact he would be happy to do it for us . Well I returned the next day to find my auto trailer was gonna be picked up by another Customer because I didnt take it the day before . This made me furious I explained what the guy the day before had said and after alot of back and forth we got our trailer . Let me give everyone some advice DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TRAILER ALONE , TAKE IT WITH YOU BECAUSE IF U LEAVE IT IT CAN BE RENTED TO SOMEONE ESLE . ALSO DONT ASK TO LEAVE AND COME BACK LATER BECAUSE YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR IT . I know it was all a misunderstanding especially since when we were leaving I seen the other Customer that was going to get it pull up and start yelling at the guy working when in reality it wasnt his fault .

Michael needs to find a job in which he is happy and he is a disservice to your company. His answer to every question was look it up on google. I have too many customers in front of me and no help and don’t have time to assist with your reservation. No, I don’t have a manger, you can call customer service. Then proceeds to say my manager Barb can be reached at the Country Club location as she never comes here and you can get that number from customer service or google. If you really had a reservation you would just come in like all of these people. I explained I’m coming in from out of state to pick up this rental and this is my second attempt as last time I got there you all did not have record of my reservation (even with me showing you the email confirmation) nor did you have a truck. To avoid the same catastrophe as last time I’m trying to verify before my arrival and Mr. Michael’s only answer is “GOOGLE IT!!”

I reserved a truck a month in advance, but when moving day came they didn’t even have the type of truck I had reserved! They offered a “free upgrade” to one of their larger trucks, which would have only meant extra unneeded space and more money spent on gas. The employee, Joey, wouldn’t even cover the insurance cost as compensation and clearly didn’t care if he received my business or not. Good for him, because Budget definitely won’t be receiving any business from me at any time in the future!

My second experience was even better than my 1st .I couldnt find a rental car anywhere so I stopped in to see if Michael could help. He was able to get me a nice new suv for the week because of a cancellation. I will not stress myself out again and just go see Michael when u need a car ot truck.moved here from California lost to the area . I called this location to return my truck and spoke with Michael he was so helpful and even waited for me after hours . I apologize that I didnt know they closed at 930 on sunday and he was no thats not your fault . He helped me out and unload a couple of boxes that I forgot inside the truck. I asked him about an uber and he went above and beyond and rented me a car for great price . Now I can get around to get my essentials . Thank you Budget and Michael. Great service .

Havent used them yet but the price just seems so much better than U-Haul 😎

I reserve a truck a week in advance, but when I arrive Im informed that the ruck I ordered is not available. I was never emailed or called, so Im just SOL.Go across the street to U-Haul. It may cost a few dollars more, but worth it!

Talk about a messed up company! Horrible customer service coupled with bad attitudes and laziness! Just shut this place down and save everyone the hassle of having to deal with Andrew! What a POS this guy was! Never go back and complaints will be filled!

Horrible experience!!! Reserved a 26 moving truck on May 8 to pick up on May 22 to move. When we arrived at 7:30am in the morning to pick it up, they had none available! They said they tried to contact us the day before, which even if they would have reached us, wouldnt have been any better. They really left us in a bind! We had to be out of our apartment and had people set up to help us move. Then, to top it off, we received a charge on our credit card of $50 for a No Show fee, in which we had to call and get removed!Luckily, there was a U-Haul rental right across the street. We explained the situation to them, and not only did they have a 26 truck available at a good rate, he gave us an additional discount for all the trouble we experienced with Budget! Thank you, U-Haul! NEVER rent from Budget again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Id give no stars if possible. Horrible place. They dont have truck rented a month ago. Said they called the day before which is a lie. Reserve from their then go across the street to Uhaul who will match it and have what you want.

They were 10 minutes late opening in the morning. I had reserved a truck six weeks prior. Received confirmation Emails a few days before pick up. Guy said uh, we dont have a truck for you. Let me see what I can do. Another customer comes in and he says let me help these people, itll only take a minute. Of course it took much longer. So I called the 1-800 number. They said they would call me back within 2 hours. 2 hours?! And, he wasnt concerned at all about not having the truck promised. So, I called Uhaul across the street. They had a truck, so I walked out on Budget. Do not recommend this place at all! Uhaul customer for life now!

Great price. However make sure you check the gas gauge vrs the paper work the inspector fills out. You will be 100% responsible for his performance and accuaracy. I had to fill up a half full moving truck which equates to an extra 40 bucks. Overall this still made it the cheapest move possible so I would still recommend going with budget truck. Just remember at this location you need to quickly accept your new manager status because they have NO record of how much gas was in the truck except his paperwork.

This place is not a place to do business I would highly recommend going to Uhaul they wouldnt screw you over and try to sue you over missing key that were dropped off at the drop off box make sure you take a lot of picture of the vehicle you rented because this owner is out the get every penny out of you

Rented a truck, last minute, vehicle and pricing good however... Kid said they would place a temp $150 charge on credit card, then remove, when truck returned. When returned next day, diff kid says charge will go onto same CC. Sure enough, I check today, they CHARGED ME $150 on pickup, and didnt process charge for $49 as agreed. I called, and yet another kid says We will refund difference $101, in 5-7 business days.. WTH! No Mgmt phone contact possible, just offshore CSRs who mumble and are unable to resolve anything. Left Msg for call back @ corporate, no call yet.

Everything as advertised. Picked up truck with no issues and dropped off with no issues. Would rent a truck from them again in a heartbeat!

Didnt have our test drive vehicle despite me getting multiple confirmations.

We dropped our truck off the same day as renting it from a Phoenix location. This location was closed so we dropped the truck off and put the keys in a drop box. 72 hours later we receive a call that they cant find the keys and will not close the account until they find them. When trying to talk to them to resolve the situation there was a severe lack of customer service.

It was reasonably and it was a excellent vehicle

They keep charging my card for more than agreed and I cant stop them

I made a reservation online for Saturday morning at 8 AM. Within a couple hours I got a call and they said they would not have a truck available until 11 AM. I asked for a discount and she said all that she would do was waive the fee for the moving blankets. The minute I hung up I called U-Haul and made a reservation with them. Will never do business with again
