I have worked for bashs supermarkets shes supermarkets for nearly 32 nearly 32 years now now as a driver, Miss Eddie basha after his passing we all had to re adjust. The stores have been great to work alongside while Im loading and shopping there in my personal life. Bashs has been extremely good too me good to me !

One of those places that doesnt care about drivers. They have everyone show up at once, so you spend way too much time waiting in a long line to check in. Then, everyone is trying to jockey into a dock while trying to avoid everyone else doing the same. Then you sit there and wait, way too long, as they unload a dock full of trucks at the same time. To make matters worse, you then have to pay a lumper. IDK, always seem like an insult when you have to wait 4 plus hours to get unloaded and the have to pay for that priviledge. Seems to me if a truck cant get unloaded within 2 or 3 hours, lumper fees should be waived. If they cant do their job within the time frame they should, why should you pay for it!?!?!?Anyway, one of those places Id love to see the way they process incoming loads outlawed as driver abuse.

Horrible, it always takes for ever. Standing in line since 7:30pm just to be one of the first ones in line. I am still number 5 in the line. They won’t open the check in until 9:00pm. Then they send you to do three more check in with different people inside. Left until 4:30 am . It’s ridiculous.

Im a truck driver I love delivering here in this people get you in and out pretty fast like NASCAR.

They are rude and very disrespectful to truck drivers. They do not communicate well at all and if you say anything to them about it you are made to sit and wait for over 8 hours for them to get their freight off your truck. And if I could give them ZERO stars I would!!!!!

Like every other distribution center, wait till you get unloaded usually takes 3-4 hours, but they are night receiver so you can get some sleep while getting unloaded. Not bad.

They give you a 9oclock appointment to be checked in 30 to 45min latter. in that mean while you are waiting outside in the heat till they open at 9. and yes you do have to be here an hr early.

They start checkin at 9:00pm. Here’s big line for checkin. The queue for checkin starts an hour Before. Bad place for trucks

Horrible place. The staff are very very rude with the truck drivers. Nobody helps and the check in process is slow. But the worse is the staff because they are very rude.

They used to not be horrible. Even though theyre kinda slow, I appreciated being able to at least check in up to an hour early. Always got a door, paid lumper, and off to sleep in quick order.Starting this week, according to the new 14 year old checking us in, we can now only check in 15 minutes before appointment time.Since it takes them around 4 hours to unload my 6 pallets every week, I never pushed for detention because of their previous courtesy. They will now be added to my growing list of receivers I set a 2 hour alarm for. Thats when I text dispatch every 30 minutes until they let me leave the property so I make sure I get detention.The only reason theyre getting 2 stars, is because the people inside the warehouse are still very nice.

Receiving starts at 9:00 pm,overnight parking at loves limited or on the dirt close by the company. Check in 15 minutes before your appointment time. You would stay in line to check in,long line. Bring your driving license when you check in. Next step they will give you a door(depends on what you carry dry/refer receiving office door 29 dry load and reefer 62. They will ask for lumper money in advance,cash-atm door 29 or checks. Wait I’m a truck and they will bring you the paperwork.

Great place to work good pay

In 2020 at Bashas the computers still cant keep your information stored in the system for few hours. I stayed in line for 1hr 20 minutes just to be told come back and check in right before your appointment. (Of course they could and then call you when they have a door for you but why make it easy? )

The Lumper service apparently doesn’t care anything about Covid protocol. They only accept cash or check. I personally refuse to deal with either, there are too many other no touch ways to pay... I have no idea who or what handled cash before me. Some people have lost everything do to this pandemic and yet we still have the few greedy people that think only of themselves.

Not bad for this size of a grocery warehouse. Produce appointment at 4:00 AM, got door at 3:30, out of there by 5:30. Well managed.

Bring your bill and driver license 15 min before your appointment. :(. It’s sad that Bashas can’t do more than this. It’s 103F outside and you have to wait in line.

Checked in at 9pm and got me unloaded after 5 hrs and oh yeah after charging me $400 for the lumper fees

Been reading the reviews and I guess it depends on what time you get here. If y’all want to crowd in here right when they start receiving then you will be joining a crowd and waiting in line. Arrived in staging area one hour before my 3 AM with nobody in line. Checked in right away and assigned immediately to a door. Went in door 62 to check in with two drivers in line. Hand paperwork to dude in the window. Hand next paperwork to lumper dude who gives you the price. Hand payment to dude in the window and get receipt. Back to my truck by 2:20 AM. They bring out BOLs when done.Most places don’t even have bathrooms for us. This place has a shower, see picture LOL.

Lumper pay is required at this location. I absolutely cannot stand lumper services. 4 hours to unload. I had no available DOT hours left to drive but security said I had to leave the property. He said to drive down the road and sleep behind the DC. Im reporting Bashas to the department of transportation. Update: 8-8-18 If you dont have hours left, do not drive off the Bashas property. I was told to call DOT if they ask you to leave.

Try to avoid if possible. You cant check in til 9 u cant be on the property until 7 then stand in line for the window only if your appointment is for 9. Then if you get a door park then go check in again and pay your lumped was here for 7 hours to unload 7 pellets and the first time wasnt much better

They are okay but u can check in 15 min before your appt time only and lumper is 150 bucks

It seems produce trucks are allowed before time.please check the picture below. Checked in at 3.50 for 4.00 appt out at 6.25 Got the door straight away. Need to park truck in staging area and walk to guard. Two check in at guards. One for form fill up another for door. Docks looks tight but is just manageable to maneuver safely. Need to take paper work to office after backing,need to pay lumper before unloading. They come out when done. Nice people 👍

Park on fry Street if you come more than an hour early for your appointment. They told me not to park in the staging area until after 7 pm . I had a 2300 appointment. I got empty and done by 4 am. When checking in qt the guard shack you must take your drivers liscense with you. You must pay the lumper after you doc before they will unload you.

Just like another grocery dc they got a staging area no overnight parking. they start letting trucks onto property at 19:00 for 21&22:00 appointments check-in in line starts at 20:30. Any appointments times schulde after 22:00 you will check-in 15 min before your appointment time. Doors are a little tight but not impossible depending on what door you get. Once they finish someone will bring your bills to you.

The receiving supervisor resolved an issue caused by the freight broker and helped us out a lot. For that alone we have to give this DC five stars.

Easy check in if you’re 15 minutes before your appointment, it took them 2 hrs to unload and finish my bills. Lumper fee is expensive (cash or checks only), however, we’re not paying it. Lots of spots at the staging area.

Pretty busy at check in ...get in line early...one hour before 9pm start...nice crew, fast unload frozen meat! 2.5 hours..not bad for food warehouse

Strictly appointment other then that it’s a place that understands truckers parking situation. They have on sight parking for semi-trucks. If you have a delivery you can come here early and park and wait for your appointment. I was in and out less then 2 hours not bad at all. Friendly staff and spacious lot to back in smoothly.

The lumper service was fast and efficient. You have to pay before they touch your freight. Once again why is that the drivers concern. I didn’t order the freight. I merely delivered it. They make you feel like you a burden. Bringing in the freight they ordered. Another outdated facility doing business the old fashioned way on the backs of hard working drivers. Don’t care if I ever go back there

Well organized operation.

I got here at 9pm Saturday with an appointment for 10pm Sunday. Seems like they are not so busy on Saturday. Stood in line for about 30-40min, checked in, backed into a door at 10pm, I was out at 11:15pm. Had 9 pallets of frozen pizza, lumper was $70. Everyone was nice and helpful. What more can you ask for? Great place to deliver

Easy in and out. Arrived around 6 PM for a 4 AM next day appointment. The guard told me that they will start checking in around 9 PM, and advised me to get in line (yes there it will be a line) by 8:30 PM. I did so. Checked in around 9:15 PM, in a door by 9:25 PM and out of there by 11:30 PM. I assume it all depends on what are you delivering. For now, maybe I was lucky but definitely had a good experience. I wish all distribution warehouses be the same(like this). I forgot, yes you can arrive early, they will let you park in the staging area, but after delivery you will have to park on the street behind the warehouse. It is okay.

Ok so i checked in at 8:10 PM. It is now 7:20 AM and I haven’t got my papers back. For a $500 lumper fee, it should be at least 8 hours faster! Never coming back to this place.

Cant check in until 15 min before ur appointment. You should start lining up to check in by 8:30pm or there will be along line maybe even before that time. I get there early and watch the line. After checking in got a door right away of course and was unloaded. Took no longer than 1 hour!!

Its a good sized facility for trucks the system to check in for truckers could work better tho like just let them sign in and give them a call when the doors ready it makes no sense for everyone to have to wait when everyone thats needed to check in is in attendance waiting for the clock to hit 10 and have the guy that signs off on the product received prioritizing that work makes no sense for trucks to be docked n waiting for no reason and all the bashas workers look happy to be at work so thats a big plus

Chandler Arizona bashas is very nice. Clean restrooms vending machines and an ATM. Check in is fast if you watch the line and get in it as soon as it hits 8:20 alot of people line up fast. Unloading took about 4 hours total pretty long. They check every case one by one so if you have a full load it might take awhile . They do have unloading fees

Theres no overnight parking but there is a dirt lot right in front of it where you can park or the loves a mile down. but my experience was perfect in and out of there within 2 hrs and everyone was pretty cool

Ive been here a few times and the people are usually pretty cool to deal with.... it is a grocery Distribution Center so youre not going to be in and out in 30 minutes or less.. but I think they do a pretty good job.

I guess, everyone has different experiences here. I will say the check in process is hideous. But besides that, I was in and out in about two hrs. Not bad at all... If they would do away with the way you have to check in this place, wouldnt be so bad. Standing in line, like were in elementary is not the way to go.

Management here gave me false information on payment for productivity. During hiring, orientation, and training I was told that if a new hire is able to achieve a 100% standard for 2 weeks consecutively. The company would sign the new hire off so he could start selecting at incentive and also recieve an hourly raise. The new hire while achieving a 100% standard for 2 weeks consecutively needed to also have no mispicks or damage to get signed off. I would not recommend this place to work at.

6 pallets 3 1/2 hrs in the door. Labor cost must be killing them, even though I paid more than 10$ a pallet.

They only know one speed slow. Be prepared to waste at least 5 or 6 hours in this place. Also bring your own checks, these aholes dont have any.

Doesnt matter what your appointment time is, they dont start checking in until 9pm (really closer to 9:30-10). And expect to be there till at least midnight. Parking available on Frye st on the side of the warehouse and on Frye/ 56th dirt area

Check in is quite confusing. Check in with security then to the next window to get a green sheet of paper and then to a door. Then inside receiving office to get ti-hi report and then to the lumper office. Once you have payment ready then back to give the lady in receiving the lumper payment? Weird right!? Then over 5 hours later for a load of palletized potato chips and still not finished unloading. What a joke! I won’t be back anytime soon!

Great place always organized and there will be a lumper so be ready to pay for that before they start to unload you cash or check com check EFS T check no card they usually start taking in load at 9pm form a line at the security trailer where you will get a door never had a long delay here.

First time here app at 3am check in at 11pm door right away out by 12:45am not much traffic look kind slow.

It takes two hours to get your bills because they wait for multiple trucks to get done unloading so being lazy they they dont have to carry the bills out one at a time. They do not care and completely waste your time took 3 hours to unload 4 pallets.

Been standing in line waiting to check in for 2 hours still haven’t checked in still standing in lone... I’m not sure they really need this load
