A couple of packages have been lost. Tracked to Champlin Post Office and that is the last known location. Mail has not reached us after its been mailed and when weve mailed letters they havent reached their destination more than once after weve mailed it. We video our mail being placed in the mailbox so maybe an investigation will be filed. I gave 2 stars because we actually do receive some mailπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

If I say I’m busy, please don’t try to start a conversation and continuously ramble on when I respond with one word. I appreciate trying to be friendly, but at some point it becomes excessively pushy and annoying. It also holds up the line. I won’t blame waiting times because of the USPS’ budget problems, but if you’re trying to talk to every customer for 5 minutes, don’t be surprised when there’s a line. I don’t want hold things up for the people behind me.

Yesterday was a day I will never forget. Yesterday was the day I encountered the Lynn. It was a truly unforgettable and horrific experience. For anyone who has yet to stand before the Lynn, she is guaranteed to be the most awful woman youll ever meet. She had clearly eaten nails for breakfast. I know she didnt eat nails for lunch, because as she was yelling at my family for no reason, she kept screaming I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO EAT LUNCH!My recommendation for those daring to risk their lives and sanity by speaking with the Lynn, DO NOT APPROACH HER BEFORE SHE HAS EATEN LUNCH.If you have a passport appointment with the Lynn, do not show up one minute early because she does not appreciate a crowded lobby, but definitely do not show up one minute late. If you do, unprovoked screaming will ensue. While a visit to this post office during the Lynns shift is sure to test your sanity and mental fortitude, I do highly recommend it. Do not miss this rare opportunity to have your head bitten off by an old curmudgeon for absolutely no reason.

The lady with the short dark hair with glasses, has a very unprofessional attitude, it’s as if she has a attitude, also if there is some thing you may not understand the postal worker is not patient in wanting to help me, that’s has been my experience with that lady with the glasses and dark hair. Unfortunately that was my experience with her, and now it’s to the point I just try not to allow her to help me in any postal transaction but the other lady to the left is more professional & sweet in her customer service skills, really the only reason why I go to this post office because the location is 10 minutes from my house & it’s the convenience but not the Service being so great

The woman at the counter is absolutely cruel and a mean individual. She has the worst customer service. This is my third time dealing with her and each time she is the same. Treats people like they are beneath her. If you love to be treated like you are a nobody...this is the place to go to. I am pretty sure that after looking through the reviews the mean and lonely woman must be Lynn. I raise my glass to the rest of the staff who have to deal with her!

As someone who works for the USPS, the service I have received from this office is an embarrassment to our craft. When I moved to Champlin two years ago it was immediately obvious that our letter carriers had no interest in performing their job duties up to any reasonable standard. Misdelivering our mail and failing to forward the previous residents mail has been a constant occurrence up to this day. Eventually (obviously) they made the mistake of misdelivering something valuable, and just an FYI the scanners we use at the post office have GPS tracking and literally inform the carrier if they scan an item at the wrong house. Upon realizing we were not going to receive the items we had ordered I filed a missing mail report online and was contacted by local management who informed me that they had delivered it to the wrong house and would attempt to retrieve it. After waiting a week with no further correspondence I went in to our local office to talk with management directly. The gentlemen who identified himself as the Postmaster reassured me that they would (once again) attempt to retrieve the package and even involve the postal inspection service if needed! Once again a week goes by with no word from the PO, so I proceed to file a claim online. After waiting a couple weeks we find that our claim has been denied, so once again I head up to the post office to see if they can help get things moving along. Once again Im met with a management team that has no interest in serving their customers. They show me a map that shows my house and the location my package was delivered (clearly not delivered to the right place). What is his big solution to this problem? To ask the carrier about the package and for me to file a claim online (already did and informed him of that) because they cant do anything about it locally.YOU ARE AN EMBARASEMENT TO THE WORK WE DO EVERY DAY.

Everyone else seemed super nice, but unfortunately, I got Lynne. She made a rude comment about my parents age, making a disgusted face when I gave her my passport information and asking if my father were really that old. Complained loudly about her job the entire time I was there (apparently, having 4 customers and 2 employees is extremely backed up). She met my polite questions with dry harassment, trying to make me seem like *I* was harassing her, even when I tried to make a joke to lighten her mood. Overall, her overall disgusted and dry demeanor ruined my entire experience. It really sucks when you cant even ask a simple question to the person handling your important government information without getting utter disrespect.

I regret going to this location every time... There is this older women with short hair and glasses that is probably the world’s worst curmudgeon on the planet. The rest of the staff is wonderful, but this particular person who is always working and I always have to work with is so unpleasant. She made me pay for tape when there was an unused roll right next to her and said ”we’re not a packaging facility...” which is true but any other person working there would have been generous enough to let me use the tape. I could go on and on about her and the many times Ive been disrespected by her specifically, but all you need to know is to just go to a different location.

I wish more customers would post when they have a good experience rather than all the negatives as it really paints a poor picture of this great post office. Ive lived in Champlin for 25 years and have regularly (anything from once a month to twice a week) used this post office as well as 2 downtown and the Maple Grove PO. Champlins PO is beyond compare, in my opinion. They always have supplies, they always have the appropriate amount of staff, their staff is knowledgeable and professional and there are NOT lines out the door regardless of the hour like the others. I have not had experience with unfriendly staff like the other posts. Some of the counter staff are more direct than others but I would not call them rude by any means. And my carrier, LARRY, needs a special call out. He is the BEST! I cannot say enough good things about him!!!!! I dont know what they pay him but its not enough. Thanks Larry.

The establishment was clean and there was no wait, but the Front desk Clerk Lynn was very rude. I was sending a package overseas to my deployed husband for the first time and am still learning the whole process. She was very hesitant to help me and had a poor attitude through the entire visit. I am fine with it but you never know what someone else is going through. Your front desk attendant is your face of the company, Id just work on the customer care no matter what they need. Thank you.

Very helpful knowledgeable staff. I normally have no issues at this location and I give it 5 stars because compared to other post offices this one is a gleaming gem. Now there has been the new staff or transferred staff who seems uncertain but normally the staff there is knowledgeable and helpful. There is normally no line or 3 other customers with 2 counter staff when I have been there. Im normally there in the mornings though so Im guessing other people come in later or during lunch.

I seriously love my post office. The ladies (and gentlemen when there) are so helpful and accommodating. I do try to time out when I bring packages that I havent bought postage for online though because trying to go over your lunch hour is never a good idea, but that should be obvious!

We had a great mailman and he recently retired, but there’s someone else who is delivering our mail, and for some reason they keep putting the wrong mail in our mailbox, but some of the mail their giving us belongs to people down our street. So I’m kind of skeptical about that. Because they might be giving our products that we order, to other people. So if you guys could fix that, that would be great.
