I was extremely happy with the gentleman that came into my home and serviced my dishwasher. He was kind and gave me some worthy advice on how to maintain my dishwasher in good working condition. He helped me look at my microwave and get a parts number off it, so I could reorder the part I needed. I believe he went beyond the normal maintain man level of service. He was very helpful to me.

Zero stars actually. It wont post until you choose one of the stars. So Frustrated. 1st Appt: June 30 - was told it was the main control panel. Had to order part. Rescheduled for July 11. Technician came and replaced part, said he tried it, it worked and he left. I was very uneasy with this technician. Tried to sell me additional work - on my dryer, my refrigerator filter, clean the back of the refrigerator. I tried it several hours later and it was doing the same thing as before. Only this time when I opened the detergent drawer, there was a piece broken out at calk had been put in there. So my husband steps in and call the service center and asks them to come back asap and our next appt is July 20. Mind you they give you a 3 hour window that you must be available to be home. He also told them not to send out the same guy and that we will not be home until 4:30 so not to send anyone until that time. We have a window from 3 pm to 6 pm on the 20th. Not only do they need to fix what they said was already fixed, they need to fix what they broke! $257.64 later and I dont have a working washer.

Waited nearly 2 full months to be scheduled for service because Sears claim they did not have a Service Tech available in my rural area since the closest store to us closed 2 years ago. I received the royal run-around treatment from Sears during a multitude of call-ins trying to get service. I invested multiple hours on hold during this process. The day before service, I called back one last time to ensure that the service tech showed up with fresh blades and they assured me it was on the top of the ticket order. Of course, he showed up without the blades and had to run all the way to town to purchase some to complete the service. However, the Tech did provide competent service.

The service man was fine - competent and informative, and I give him a 5 star rating. However, the stove top could not be repaired because the defective part is no longer available. I knew what part was defective and gave that information in a chat to the service center when I arranged the visit - I should have asked them specifically to see if the part was still available before arranging the visit. Consequently, $99 was wasted, and I lower my overall rating for the experience to a 3.

The serviceman arrived when scheduled, correctly diagnosed the problem, and repaired the unit in a timely manner. He had the parts needed and was able to get the refrigerator up and running with a minimum of downtime.

The 2 service reps who fixed my washing machine did a wonderful job. They were both very personable and did the work in a very professional way. They both explained the problem and told us how they were going to repair it. I Could not have been happier with their service.Setting up the second appointment for the repair to my washing machine was a very different experience. The dispatcher didnt seem to want to listen to my reasons for wanting the same service tech back on the final repair. There were what I thought valid reasons for the 1st repair tech coming back to do the repairs. He argued with me for what seemed like 15 minutes before finally saying Maam we arent getting anywhere with this conversation so I am going to end this conversation right now. All he had to do was assure me that the tech who would be coming would have the tool necessary to fix my machine. I was so upset, I called Customer Service and talked to a very nice lady who was very reassuring and told me that indeed my machine would definitely be fixed during the appointment the next day and that any tech who came would have the necessary tools to fix the problem. She handled my situation with so much better tact and understanding that I was feeling much more satisfied after speaking with her.

The serviceman was prompt. He went right to work. Called another member when he didnt have the part he needed. Left to get the part and returned to finish the job in just a few minutes. Completed the job quickly. In all the job was done in less than an hour.I didnt give the model number of my appliance when I called for the appointment. If I would have he would have had my part. I am satisfied with my service.

Was good except person tried to sell more contracts and was a bit insistent on it. I will let you know if I need another service contract on something. We are preparing to sell the house by the end of the year and do not want any more expenses. Service should not be pushy about more agreements since basically he cleaned and vacuumed was all that was needed. This was just for maintenance not selling to another person in the household.

Shawn was a very nice person when he came to fix my washer. He presented himself nicely and spoke like he knew what he was talking about, I did not get that from the others. If I have any other repairs for the washer, I will definitely ask for Shawn. He should be lauded for his work.

The repair on my washing machine was done very well. I gave a two star review because of a couple of things. What did not go so well was the 8am - 5pm window. I asked for an afternoon appointment and was told I would be last on the schedule for the day of my repair. That did not happen. On the day of the repair, he showed up at 10:30am. The second thing I did not care for is that the repairman took towels out of my dirty laundry to clean up water. He did not ask permission or tell me. I found three soaking wet towels in my dirty laundry. I did not appreciate someone going through my dirty laundry. And to leave them wet in the laundry sorter without telling me was bad as well.

We recently had a maintenance check on our washer and dryer. The Sears technician was on time. He was friendly, yet professional and took adequate time in checking the appliances to make sure they were operating properly. He was informative and knew the answers to the questions we had. He was the best technician we have ever had!!!

I am very pleased with the service on my dishwasher. Although it took three visits due to having to wait for parts and, when they came the first time one was broken, so we had to wait again. However, the repairman was always early for his visit and when he got the right parts, he fixed it quickly and well. I will use them again if necessary.

I got a call about 20 min. before the service truck arrived, so I was able to be at work and then meet him at the house. He was very professional and made the repairs and tested the mower in a short amount of time. He let me know the cost before he did the work and also made some adjustments and replaced a spring that were unrelated to the initial problem. Great job.

My Sears Furnace was checked out under my 7 Year Protection Plan on Nov. 11, 2015.I couldnt be more pleased with Sears Service under this plan. From spending almost no time at all to make the phone appointment, to the end of the appointment I was 100% pleased. Courteous, efficient, completely on time (was told in the morning when I called that day a one hour window for arrival) I was perfectly satisfied. He answered any questions I had and left me feeling confident as all the other years that Sears Protection Plans and products are superior. Thank you Sears!

Our gas grill would not light. A quick call to 800 4 MY HOME I was asked to replace battery, I told them I did it was not the problem set a Tuesday apt a 2 hr call came out my daughter met service at our home he ordered parts fixed lighter and sent replacement flam spreaders all done quickly We have replaced 90 0/0 of our small appliances with Kenmore after having service problems getting service some years ago we switched to SEARS service shows up and is there the only drawback is most of the time it takes 2 trips as to order parts then return to put on.

Very poor customer service. They are a very inefficient middleman between the customer and the supplier. I waited nearly a month before they told me the parts are back ordered. You are better off simply calling a local repair shop.

The service person was rude, my appointment was for between 3 and 6 he called at 1 and wanted to come then. I wasnt home told him I would be there in 45 minutes; he said ok. I got home at 2 but then didnt show up until 3. When he got there I said to him that I wish he would have stated he wasnt coming until 3 as I would have finished my errands. He stated that he had to go do something. That the company shouldnt schedule between 3 and 6 and that it was at least a 1 1/2 hour drive to Champaign for any service tech. He stated this to me more than once. He was quite upset. The repair was quick and easy. He also told me I had mold in my washer. I asked if he could clean it out. I then went in the other room he stated he was done. I asked if he cleaned out the mold and he said well give me a rag and I will. He wiped a couple of times but didnt do any good. Normally I have had excellent service from this company but this wasnt good. Not a pleasant encounter.

As of now, I am completely dissatisfied with the service I received. From my reading my Kenmore gas water heater seems to be noted for problems with the pilot staying lit. The service technician waved a vacuum cleaner under the unit, proclaiming it repaired. He did get it lit. It stayed lit for about 10 minutes after he left. I called back, asking that he return but he couldnt be bothered. I had to reschedule which means another week without hot water. On my own I determined there is a problem with the flame color and the way the flame acts. It can be lit but it wont stay lit and the flame dances all around. I have my doubts about whether the rescheduled appointment will go any better than the first, but I will wait and see. If he does actually fix it I will revise my statement, but as of now I am very dissatisfied. The Sears people seem more interested in selling me a service agreement rather than actually performing a repair for which Ive already paid $104..

Fixed our Bosch dish washer that was leaking and the detergent dispenser was not opening. Also ordered for us replacement parts for some unsightly corroding parts on for our Kenmore oven (was driving my Wife nuts). He showed me how easy it was to remove the oven doors to replace the corroded parts which I did when the parts arrived within a week. Parts and labor for both repairs received a 25% discount from a coupon from the Sears site. Have been using them for a few years now and so far no complaints.

Not great at all. 4-year old refrigerators compressor went out. Waited 5 days for repairman and another 5 days for the part to be installed. Didnt completely put the back panel back on because it seems the part is larger than the original. Back of unit is still hot. Visit from repairman will take another 6 days.

You need to improve on the time scheduling window. 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM is not very helpful to people that need to plan their days. The notification of the visit was sent by email about 15 minutes before the technician arrived. However we lucked out, as we were at the start of the technicians route and he arrived promptly at 08:00 on each scheduled day.The technician was efficient, presentable and personable, diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part and installed it after it arrived by post about a week later.My other complaint would be that it was very expensive. Nearly $300 to replace a part that cost $30 approx.

Called three weeks ago to request a repair for our dishwasher under our protection program. Technician came out a week later, was in our home for a matter of minutes, hooked up the dishwasher to a computer and announced it needed a large number of new parts that had to be ordered. A week later, the parts having been delivered to our home, the technician arrived disassembled our dishwasher and put in the new parts. He declared the old parts were ours to deal with and that the problem was fixed. He left. 20 minutes after he left, the dishwasher stopped working again and, further, the control panel was no longer responsive. I called the repair number and was told the technician could not return for another week. I now am in week three of a broken 1.5 year old dishwasher. As a mother of young children this is very difficult. Sears has been no help to address the issue other than to continue to schedule new appoints on a weekly basis with a window of 8 to 5. UNACCEPTABLE

Pretty good from start to well almost finish in my opinion. He came and diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and had them shipped to my house. They scheduled a new date to replace the parts which went well but, I am curious as to why the tech would not have plugged in the refrigerator to actually determine if the problem was corrected. I know in the HVAC field that wouldnt fly very well. Yea Im pretty sure installing that new board fixed the problem, turn it on when you get home and hopefully it works. Despite this the refrigerator appears to working correctly. All in all Im pretty satisfied.

Gave me an 8 am to 5 pm service call window and showed up at 5:30 pm. Never texted to narrow the call window. Repair was simple and the technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The scheduling was godawful. The $ I lost taking a day off work cost me twice as much as the service call, since they couldnt give me a smaller window - and didnt show up during business hours anyway. Techs kept pushing signing up for the home warranty even after I declined two or three times, then put me on the phone with another person who tried to sign me up for the same thing Id been saying no to for 10 minutes. Want me to consider you for regular service? Then give me a reasonable ETA and show up during that window.

Bought a refrigerator a little over a year ago. Was told we receive a yearly maintenance checkup.Service arrived during time stated. Door seal was ripping and replacement seal was ordered and arrived within a week. However, when showing me how to replace the seal, he used a metal screw driver and scratched the inside door. He knew I saw it, and didnt even apologize, (matter of fact, he didnt say anything about scratching it at all).I was told during purchase the checkup included coil cleaning, but refrigerator wasnt moved out from wall. The only service provided was checking the temperatures.

Certainly not the fault of the technicians, they were great. It has taken 3 visits to try to fix my microwave oven (still not fixed) because no one could order the correct parts and it took two visits to replace the ice cube maker in our refrigerator because there were no replacement parts on the truck. They both seem to be simple fixes yet this has dragged on. Very frustrating. In talking with the customer service people, they blamed the service technicians for the issue and the lady would not take ownership of the problem on behalf of Sears. This is not the same reliable Sears that I have known throughout the years. Come on man

Terrible experience! For a simply leaky seal in our dishwasher it took two visits, a different serviceman from different service centers each time, three weeks for a part to be shipped to our home between visits, the entire assembly had to be replaced supposedly because the seal itself could not be replaced, the cost for a $2 part was more like $280, then the second service man had to replace three additional parts for another $75. What a Rip Off! What a horrible design! what an inefficient service department! Will never, ever by from Sears again, period! The Sears of my memory is a thing of the long lost past. What a shame!

We bought a new stove from Sears during our remodel. After finishing the cabinets and floor we had the stove installed only to find out everything worked EXCEPT the top burners. We called Sears to schedule an apt. and had to wait for over a month tor the Tech to come out. He diagnosed the problem and ordered a new part, but would not be able to come back out for almost 3 weeks (the part was received in 2 days). He installed the new part and still the stove did not work. To make a long story short, it took FOUR attempts to identify and fix the problem. That means our stove was out of commission for almost 6 months. Tech was nice and friendly, parts were sent very quickly, but diagnosis was awful!!!!

My expierance was terrible. They came out to fix freezer and after they left freezer and fridge did not work. Called back and after secound visit fridge works but freezer still does not. Have paid $200 and took off work twice. Called someone else and got it fixed next day for $65. Called sears and told them I wanted a refund, after spending hours on the phone with people who do not speak English as there first language I was offered $50 refund. They stole my money and time. Worst off this was a hugely frustrating expierance. The tech was not a bad guy but customer service is a joke. I have never received any refund or an apology, never use them again or buy anything from sears.

I couldnt get an appointment closer than 5 days out, but when they came they were prompt, courteous, had the parts they needed, and fixed my (over 15 years old) dryer in about 15 minutes. Very happy to have a dryer that actually dries clothes again!

I was very pleased with the way Jeff the service technician did his repair, his professionalism and his interaction with me! I was exceedingly disappointed, frustrated and very agitated about the response and scheduling I received from the Sears call center. Even though it only took around 3 days for me to receive my repair parts it took 2 months to get my garage door repaired despite numerous calls from me to the call center to have the technician cone out sooner. Which resulted in me for 2 months each and every time I took my car out having to manually lift the door, back my car out, get out of my car walk back in the garage, pull the door down and clamp a pair of vice grips on the rail so someone couldt just lift the door and walk in. Then walk back through the house and stand outside and relock our front door. I would then have to repeat this process upon returning home! Now just imagine going in and out of your house several times a day rain or shine or cold for 2 months with the parts for my garage door on the shelf in my garage!! Up to that time I had nothing but good things to say about my experience with sears, but that all changed with this experience. One of the other regrettable things about all of this is I would like to give this repair a 5 star rating because of my experience with the technician, but I have to give it a 1 star rating based upon the service centers handling of my repair.

Terrible, piece of the door has chip in it, ice maker is now working but makes a loud, grinding noise, which it did not do before, I said something to the repair man about it, seem to go right over his head? as far as Im concerned I will never buy another appliance from Sears, dish washer which we paid over $700.00 had to replaced after four years, but not by Sears. We spent several thousand dollars on Sears appliances, but NEVER again!

Overpriced. Charges $79 for diagnostic. Then marks up parts by 50% at least, and then charges 129 for 20 minutes of exchanging the part. Shop your local service providers.

The very first time I turned on the treadmill to use it after the repair, it STILL has the SAME issues. It has been repaired for the same issues several times this year. Each time, I cant use it for 3 or 4 weeks. Im sad.
