Soooo I have been living at my address for almost 2 years. Received a trash and recycle can from waste connections for our weekly service. Wednesday the trash boys decided to take the recycle bin.So naturally I called to see why/get another and was told by the manager that they don’t know why and if I want another I need to pay an additional $65. Why would I pay another $65 for something I already had included with my service and should have never been taken? To top it off, it would still be waste connections can at the end of service 😂😂.I can only laugh at situations like this. If you can, choose any other company.

Would like to do a shout out to my garbage truck driver this morning. My neighbor has an electric line come down during last night storm blocking the road. The pickup driver had to turn around and detour the neighbor hood. Next thing I know he was backing down the street to pick up my trash.. I has so thankful for his attentiveness and thoughtfulness to get my trash. I don’t know who he was but he is very thoughtful and a great asset to their business.

Very poor service. They don’t pick up your trash and when you call them to find out why they act like your the fault as to why they didn’t get it. Don’t waste your time or money with this company!

Our IESI became Waste Connections in the acquisition and I was concerned about a decrease in quality. WC has kept up with its phenomenal customer service. The few times Ive had questions, everyone has been exemplary. While pick up times during the day can vary, I can not imagine what the drivers must deal with. I think, regardless of your service, everyone needs to appreciate their refuse collector. Ive seen some homes as I pass by take clear advantage to the point of discourtesy with trash stacked all over and thats just in my small neighborhood.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, this place barely picks up to even be worth trying. Id say every other few weeks they take my trash.....every other few months they actually take the recycling. We have reached out to discuss and no response for weeks, so heres me warning you, find literally anyone else. Terrible terrible terrible. Please do not use them ever, even if its your only choice for service youre better off taking to the dump yourself.

Jenni from their customer service department was extremely helpful, courteous, and patient in assisting me with a rather difficult situation and despite us being disconnected twice for unknown reasons, was persistent in calling me back and seeing our matter through and resolved to our complete satisfaction, and was very glad that because of her help our future transactions will not be hindered by our peculiar payment option for services rendered. Many thanks to Jenni; she is a true asset to your company. And thanks for the very good service you have provided us for the past almost four years.

This company has missed picking up trash and/or recycling multiple times. Recently when trying to contact I am not able to get a hold of anyone. Left several messages and not received a return call.

Poor service. They offer recycling but sometimes dont pick it up when scheduled. Several times trash truck knocked over recycling can and left it all over the driveway and road. When you call to have someone pick up the recycling they forgot, they do nothing about it. Terrible company and horrible service. Do not recommend.

I dont know what happens that the person who comes to do the garbage collection doesnt take all my trash. The rest of my trash is taken by the other company that comes the next day, which makes me the favor to take it.Its been several weeks since this happens and sometimes he doesnt take anything and leaves it all here.

Received a call from the service that weve used for 20yrs and have set our tote at the same location always. They said their driver now dont like where we were setting the tote. Said it wasnt out next to the road. Here is a picture of where we always set it. Cant get any closer to road without being on the road. Called and cancelled service went with Parks which is cheaper anyhow.

I reside in the borough of Gettysburg and am very pleased with the WasteConnections service provided. The young man Jesse is very courteous & friendly & even assisted me by explaining the process of “Bulk Pickup”. They don’t mistreat trash cans as I’ve seen other companies do . 5 Star ⭐️ Quality .

Used this company for over 10 years . All of a sudden the driver dont like where the trash can is . Left a box in front of the trash to be hauled off. Moved the box and left it. No problem it is clear they do not value their customers anymore. Called to speak to a Manager and they didnt even bother to return my call.

Multiple times these people have flipped our trash can in the road and left it and today bag of trash ripped and left all over the road for me to clean up along with broken bottles in the road way for people to run over! Very unprofessional and constantly raising our bill now our bill is $100

Waste connections forgot to empty my trash today. I called and was able to get them to come and get the trash. The garbage man said my can was not in the right spot even though they never specified a placement and I have been placing the can in the same spot each week and I have never had an issue. The man then accused me of not putting my trash out on time and I took it out to the curb last night.

This place is horrid. Missed one time because of inclement weather which is totally understandable. However… They didn’t even attempt to try to come out and get the trash the following day when the roads were clear. So here we are again with our trash not being picked up on Thursday. My wife called, I called and was told that someone would be out to collect our trash. No one came out to collect our trash on Thursday or Friday. I called customer service and was told that the driver stated that our trash was not picked up because it wasn’t at the curb. It was at the curb. The driver emptied our recycle can but did not empty our trash bin. This company will flat out lie to you and management will not return calls. The customer service representative was not the nicest person on the planet either.. Switching my service to Parks where they treat their customers with respect and care about their business.

Always leave my trash can in the road on route 30. I do not for the life of mr understand why they do this and now the can is in pieces. I have connected them to replace the trash can, no avail. About to change trash companies.

Dont make this about your customer - this is about Waste Connections. You have one job to do in your contract with Cumberland Township. Pick up the trash. When you decide to leave trash in the bin after you move the goalposts as a punitive measure, you are not fulfilling your contract. You are lucky to get 1 star and that is for the grace of the rating system in place.You deserve no stars. Do your job.

Ive used these guys for several years and have never had an issue. Customer service is always great as well. One of the posters claims to have used them for 20 years and has one issue and writes a bad review? I think thats a little harsh. Gotta love people. Youre only as good as your employees, and its getting harder and harder to find good help. I would imagine its even harder in this industry.

I received outstanding customer service today. Jenny was friendly and very helpful with helping me set up my residential garbage service. She walked me through changing things in my account and explained everything so that I had no questions at the end of the call. I will recommend waste connections to my neighbors!

First I would like to say how fast Jenny got back to us. My husband Had called the borough And here we are three hours later and they did not contact us back. He fond the number for waste connections knowing that that is who picks us up and contacted this lovely lady by the name of Jenny. She did have to call us back but it was a matter of 10 minutes. Right before she had called back she had the driver pick up the bag of trash. This is a great company and I would recommend it to all.she was so respectful and carried her words very well! Five stars from my husband and myself. It was missed originally but the way they had taken care of the problem was unbelievably fast! Thank you Jenny and Waste Connections for doing what you do, even at a time like this!

I needed a rolloff at short notice to clean out my storage area of 29 years. It was a pleasure to work with Waste Connections and they filled my needs at a very reasonable price. Changing the return date of the rolloff was as easy as making a phone call and Cheryl was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional.

Great customer service. Over the course of time, weve worked with Jennifer. Shes been kind, courteous and gone out of her way to ensure our issues were taken care of promptly. She really went above and beyond.

Weve never been happier with service and customer service than we are with this trash service! Our rep Melanie and our driver have gone above and beyond to work around local construction issues to ensure that we are serviced. Our past service was just awful. So happy we found this company. Our experience has been great.

Looking forward to the long term results.Does not pick up recycling as scheduled. Service is set for bi-weekly, but can go almost a month before it gets picked up. No one answers when you call them and they do not reply to emails.

Waste connections is a great trash company for all your commercial and residential needs around the Franklin county area. Been a customer for the last 6 years and the service has always been top notch. We are a commercial customer and when we need an extra pickup for our busy work load they are only a phone call away. When it comes to there customer service reps, Jennifer is on top of her job she will make sure your service is handled with top notch customer service. If your looking for a new trash company you just found it.!!

Customer service is so helpful. The girls in there are always so great. I get answers every time i call in. The drivers are consistent, very kind. They work very very hard! I would recommend this company to any one that is in the area.

If I have service Thursday and it snows Thursday or would make sense my trash goes Friday. It didnt snow Friday and they still didnt work. So will they pickup Saturday? Nope they said well take double next week. I hate this company and Im complaining to my borough Im hopes they dont renew the contract.

We are stuck with them because of the borough of Carlisle. I would strongly recommend you DO NOT use this company. They have three stars for a reason. They never collect our bulk trash, when we stick it out they just walk past it. The workers, “if that’s what you’d like to call them” seem to find every reason not to take the trash. The only reason we have them is because we are STUCK with them! Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

TRIED to get additional RECYCLING service and for the life of me the sales team wont give it to you!!.. Hands tied w/ corporate BS.. . Just throw everything in the trash .. Its not worth wasting time on the phone with these people.

Worst company I’ve ever used for household trash/recycling. If I could switch to another company I would. They don’t always pick up on time, or don’t always want to take recycling. If trash falls out of any container, they leave it there.

Timely weekly pick up of garbage by good workers. FREE recycling is great! Bulk pick up when called in, in advance. Really nice people answering the phones. Good workers who pick up our garbage, they dont leave any stray trash laying around. Very happy with this company.

We pay for this service, and we were told 5 30 gallon bags max in our 96 gallon tote, well we had 4 13 gallon bags they took 2, said one had a small hole and were worried it would rip when lifted out of tote, the other was a large dog food bag securely closed and nope not taking it, and I was told they are too heavy for the driver, umm there is cat litter in the 1 bag from a cat box if we are paying for a service you should take the trash especially when im under the limit, doesnt matter how heavy it is, is in a bag like its supposed to be! This has been an issue with them since x-mas! We have been given every excuse there is as to why its not all being taken, horrible service!

Laziest company ever. Wind blowing like a hurricane last night so we put the trash bins side by side. No trash on the ground at all. These people still didnt empty the bins. Seriously, the company is garbage. Pun intended.

I love waking up after the trash has gone only to find it all over the street when I walk out my door. I dont pay for your service my landlord does but my god what awful trash service. It makes our town look trashy.

Called a month ahead to discuss a payment arrangement to avoid collections. When I called to make my payment that was discussed prior I was informed that they already sent my bill to collections without a notice and before the stated due date. They were not cooperate, very unwilling to help.

I just got service, fully paid and now twice they have not picked up. Ive been on the phone with them 3 times this week and still they havent picked up my garbage. Im going to put a big red bow on my garbage and put it in the middle of the street and if they do not get it this week Im taking it to Chmabersburg and dumping it in front of the office. This is ridiculous!!!

A paying customer expects a certain level of service, and is willing to excuse some mistakes. But when a company continuously misses trash and recycling pick up days, excuses only go so far. If we werent forced to use this company for our waste disposal, we would immediately switch back to Parks.

They have terrible service. Multiple missed trash pick ups. When we call, there are no apologies. They never sent a bill, so we called. They said it is for non-payment and they called us multiple times, but we did not receive any call or any mail notifications. When we called to cancel, they said our only option was a google review, so here it is. Don’t waste your money on this company. We try to support other companies by giving feedback and understanding that everyone is looking to improve. Unfortunately this company has no interest in feedback or improvement.

Terrible customer service. They continuously credit my account on payments somone else is making. out of good faith, i call and tell them i did not pay this money, also because i have a credit it will not allow me to pay my real bill. i spend hours of my own time reaching out to these people to correct THEIR COMPANY ERROR. and they back charge me, what i didnt/couldnt pay because of their mistakes. this has happened 3 times. i also request paper mail bill for my records every time i speak to them...its been a year, still have yet to receive even a single bill. they never get back to me, and have missed several pick ups

Tired of the apathy. Several times I have witnessed them watch an item fall and then dismiss it and drive away. Unacceptable. Ive called the company asking for this to be addressed with no results. Were done.

If I could give no stars I would. I paid for my service and this is the second time Ive not had them pick up. The website is a joke and will tell you that your payment is accepted then after spending 20 minutes on hold only to find out that it actually takes 2-3 business days and blablabla. I ended up having to deal with the customer service lady shouting over me and when I asked for a manager I was sent directly to voicemail. If I had done something like that I would have been fired. Im going with Parks.

They havent sent me a single bill and now are not retrieving my trash. Its been a month without their service and about 10 without any communitcation. and their customer service is absolutely terrible.

They pick up when they say, with they occasional broken down truck. However customer service is SLOW! IVE BEEN HOLDING FOR 19 MINUTES AND ONLY HAD 5 PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME. IVE BEEN AT CALLER NUMBER 2 NOW FOR 7 MINUTES AND COUNTING. Unfortunately, my township picks our provider. I would use someone else if I could pick my own.

I would give no stars if i could consistently does not pick up recycling. i have a shared driving with 3 houses on it they would pick my neighbors and not mine when, bill was up to date i would call everytime and they would say the same thing i dont know how the driver missed that we will come next week once they did it 3 weeks in a row i never had this much of an issue with a trash company if your in franklin county go with Parks

I just moved to Waynesboro, PA., and needed trash pickup and recycling services and Waste Connections of Pa was recommended. So far, so good. Theyve been timely, receptive to my questions, and professional.

Never pick up when they say. Took our $80 can that we owned and threw it IN the truck with trash, busted the wheels off of the 2nd one we purchased from Lowes again for $80...large item pick up is a joke. Parks is so much better, but our township chooses who we pay. We are forced to pay a company that sucks and we dont want service from. Our large item has been out for 4 weeks..supposed to be pick up yet again today and nothing. Menallen township can stop screwing us over by having to use them instead of Parks.

Our trash collection person is beyond great!!!! He always puts our can back at our house and even grabs it if I have forgotten to put it out. I have left him several thank you cards and he always returns on showing his gratitude!!!!
