Our house is over 100 years old and was endangered by a very old and very large walnut tree, and we were concerned about potential damage to our house and gardens. The Bartlett crew was efficient but very cautious about any damage, even to preventing oil from chainsaws getting into our grass! They also took obvious care to see that the cut wood was accessible to us, since we were able to to the clean up and removal ourselves, once this monster was down. The crew was polite, respectful (we are old), and very businesslike. They gave us great confidence right from the start that they knew how to do this challenging job in a safe way.

The Bartlett crew was prompt, courteous, very professional and above all safety conscious. They performed amazing, almost acrobatic, feats in reaching the targeted tree limbs, but only after the most painstaking preparations for safety. The crew were also highly knowledgeable about forestry and answered our many questions with an evident love for their profession. They also made a point of removing all debris, including sawdust(!)from the work site. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone in need of help with management of their trees.

We had a dead tree hanging over our backyard art studio and after contacting a few recommendations and getting quotes, we decided to use Bartlett in Chambersburg. Our original date was early June. We received a call 2 weeks earlier saying they had a schedule change and would be available to have the tree removed. We were driving out of town that day, but decided to go ahead with the removal. I wasnt concerned of not being there, I was very curious though how the were going to manage removing the tree. Our contact Adam and the crew of Caleb & Cody sent several text messages with pictures on the progress. We got home from the weekend to find our tree gone, wood stacked as promised, and the yard clean of debris. Very impressed and would definitely use again!

The Bartlett crew came to our property on January 15 to prune a large maple tree. They did a terrific job, removing dead wood and trimming new wood for better tree health. They were professional, careful, and safe. It looks much better now. They knew their jobs, worked efficiently and carefully, and cleaned up really well at the end. We will have them back next year to trim out the dead wood from three other trees on the property. Top notch.

I had 2 hemlock trees that had gotten diseased, I called Bartlett tree service and they came to my home and suggested a plan for saving my trees. After coming back to fertilize we realized that 1 tree was not to be saved. They have treated the other one and was willing to look at all my trees at no cost to me. Im very pleased to be able to save at least 1 tree as my trees are 30ft tall. Thank you for the good work. Also I was not pressured into any additional costs.

Been fixing up an old house and working with a lot of contractors lately. This team was a breath of fresh air! Every aspect was top notch: the quote was reasonable, communication and timeframe were solid, the work was perfect, and the clean up? A lost art these days. There was nothing left behind. Derrick (Nathan?) and Andrew did an excellent job in removing numerous dead pine branches above a lighted timber walkway I had installed. They were very careful to avoid damage to my walkway lights directly below. Dylan and Nathan pruned a Kwanzan cherry tree and also removed a Juniper (and the stump) located near the tree. They were very professional and the work was expertly done. There was no clean-up for us to do after they left. They asked if the work was satisfactory before they left and we had a few limbs that we wanted trimmed a bit more and they did as we asked. I would recommend this company to anyone needing professional tree trimmers.

Bartlett Tree Experts out of Chambersburg are everything their name suggests. They are extremely professional and very good at what they do. We had a pear tree in front of our house that needed thinned out. Previous cutting by someone that was not an expert made the tree look like it had a bad haircut for years. The Bartlett team of Dylan and Nate spent all morning on the tree being very deliberate about what they were cutting and what they were going to leave. When they were done not only did the tree look natural, beautifully shaped and wonderfully open but you couldnt even tell they had been there. I would highly recommend the arborist Derrek who quoted the work and the whole team at at Bartlett Tree Experts.

For several years, my husband and I have worked with our Chambersburg office to manage an ash tree which was infested with ash borers before we bought our house. Our Arborist visits our property periodically to check on our tree, and has been clear and thorough in his communications regarding its health and his recommendations.Yesterday, the team came to trim both our ash (which continues to leaf out and looks better than in previous years) and our maple tree. Both trees are large and old, and there was quite a lot of trimming to be done. The trimmers were on time, friendly and professional, and worked diligently. They worked really hard to protect our yard and new patio from falling debris, cleaned up every single bit of their mess, and frankly, left the yard in better shape than before they came.Im grateful for this group and look forward to years of working with them to care for our trees.

I have used this Barlett office for several years and am 100% satisfied with their work. They are a pleasure to work with - professional, polite, effeicient and skilled at what they do! Their cleanup after the work is completed is so good you hardly know they were there. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree and shrub work. I used them to trim trees, remove trees, remove brush, and treat trees.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Contracted Brad and Bartlett Tree service to treat 3 infected pine trees. After over $400 in treatment, the trees look worse than they did before. What a waste of time and money. To top it off, they also sprayed 4 scrubs that were not supposed to be treated and refused to admit their mistake, subsequently charging me for their erroneous treatment. They claim that the 4 additional plants were part of the quote yet cant produce evidence of said agreement. The trees they were supposed to treat were not improved (as Brad said they would be) and they over charged for non-agreed to services. Hire someone else for your tree/plant needs.
