I booked on-line a 1 day car rental with Hertz because of the convenience and discounts. The customer service was excellent. The vehicle was in great condition and clean. I will book with Hertz again and tell my family and friends.

It seems to be a thing that nobody answers the phone after you dropp the car off. They kept charging you after you dropp the car and wont be able to get a hold of anyone. I would like to know why they keep charging me and to answere the phone please! 😡

We had to rent a car recently for local travel and were able to book online with no issue ahead of time. Days later we went into the office to pick up our car and were informed that if we used a debit card our credit score would need to be checked. We were never informed on the site or the confirmation email that a credit card would be needed to rent a car for the day or something as ludicrous as a credit check would be preformed. We left the Hertz with no vehicle, no hit to our credit history and will not be returning in the future.

So accommodating!

Zero Stars!! Only one because I had to. I never did fulfill my rental form them. Booked online with debit card no issues till I arrived to pick it up. Told cannot rent with a debit card on the day of pickup! What... Enterprise you can, Avis you can, but not Hertz??? I can tell you I will never rent from them ever!Enterprise and Avis, you have my business for life.Hertz thank for making it easy moving forward. Good-by

Staff was under trained, rented a vehicle to go home to West Virginia from working up this way, called ahead to make sure everything was okay, and to make sure I did not need a credit card, and only a debit card only to be told once I checked out of my hotel and got an Uber there that “he didn’t know that I meant at that moment” and “you have to book the hotel a day in advance to use a debit card”. Would have been totally fine if I would have been told ahead of time that you can only use a credit card.
