I think I may have been one of Jays earliest clients when he first started business as an SF agent. It was friends helping friends then and still is. I think knowing he is one of my best friends, I already had the trust. We have maintained that trust through all of his likely close to 30 years as an agent. Had StateFarm for almost 20 years. Two car claims with good service since they were both not my fault. However, had my first house claim from water damage and had a horrible experience. First they assured me I was covered, but never give me anything on writing even when I asked multiple times for an email. After harassing the Plummer for 4 times they finally told me that I was covered. I then told them I was going to use my own contractor to do some updates as well and everything changed. According to them this was not cover since the water was probably leaking for a long time . Really?... this is my house and do you think I would not had notice water and panic about that. According to them living room carpet replacement a hall way closet wall damage and the bathroom walls soak on water gives me a total of 1800 dollar of damages and my deductible is 2000 dollars ... really????
