I first meet Master Andrew Kim about 4 years ago when i was looking for an after school program for my son. Master Andy welcomed me immediately and explained the entire process of how the school is set up. I immediately enrolled my son. For 4 straight years, my son has learned to respect and honor God, his parents, his master or instructor and himself. He has learned to lead other students in proper form instruction as well. Master Andy has worked with him to train and learn the importance of what becoming a black belt means. Its not just a martial art, its a way of life. How one presents him or herself as well as how to treat others with dignity and respect. And for that I thank Mt. Kim Centreville for that teaching.

It has been almost two years since my kids and I started classes at Mt. Kim. I knew it would be great exercise for all of us and a wonderful opportunity for my kids to learn self defense and discipline. What I didn’t know was how much I’d underestimated the positive effect this experience would have on all of us. My kids have more self-confidence and show more respect than ever and I have increased flexibility and done things I didn’t think I could do (insert any tornado, spin, jump or flying kick here.) This isn’t just for kids! I’d love to see more Moms here with me! 😊

My 8 year old has been going to Mt. since January 2018. This was the best decision I ever made. My son has been learning so much, his discipline has changed for good. I am very happy with this place I will really recommend it to anyone. It is worth it, you are investing on your kids future!!

My daughter started at age 5 and has loved EVERY second with Master Andy Kim and other Instructors. Her focus, discipline, respect, and determination have increased with this supportive environment and it’s just fascinating to watch her mature and feel so confident. I am sure that she will have more self respect and be able to defend herself if needed. Excellent School, Master Andy is amazing with the kids, and cant say enough good things about how awesome this experience has been for my Son. One of the best places around and excellent well structured and safe afterschool programs.

My family has been actively involved at this dojang since 2010. We have been extremely happy with the quality of instruction and personal attention received by all staff at this dojang. It is owned and operated by Master Andy Kim. Master Andy also teaches classes and manages after school programs and summer camps. Alongside him is a good staff of responsible and energetic college students and young adults. My son has been active the longest and currently has his first don black belt. My daughter is close behind him. Both of my kids participate in the after school program and summer camp. I have taken lessons on and off myself, and I must say it is a great workout!
