My friend had her bachelorette with them and we had the absolute BEST time!!! Genesis was such an amazing and professional guide! She fit right in with all of us girls and felt like a friend by the end of the trip. I wished I lived in the area so I could do it again and again! 10/10!

We did a half day trip our guide was amazing and very patient and the day was beatiful. I was a little nervous since it was my first time going rafting but the guide was very reassuring. They had a cute bus to pick us up and drove about 20 minutes to drop off where they loaded raft into water. There were 4 other people also. They had photos and videos at the end for purchase. I would definitely recommend jefferson state outfitters over other companys. I cant wait to go again

He gave very clear and easy-to-follow instructions. Hes experienced on the perfect approach to the rapids. Honestly this was an amazing heck of a ride and I would recommend anyone to come by! We had Dave as our guide and we actually got a call the night before upgrading us from the half day to full day adventure and that was a pleasant surprise! The owners also have this super cute dog and let you pet him.We took a bus from the park to the start of the river and it was really nice to end up where we parked since you float downstream.We started off the day with kayaking on class 2 rapids which weren’t too strong but still tossed us around and definitely got us wet! After a nicely prepared lunch and some down time we got to experience the powerhouse and nugget falls which was so so fun and thrilling and Dave does a great job doing fun things like dip the front and back of the boat directly in the water. We also did this really fun thing called Rodeo where we tried to balance on the raft for 8 seconds as it spun around — spoiler alert I failed.Thanks to Dave and Genesis for making this such an unforgettable journey and making our time in Medford so fun! They also offered photos and video for $20 at the end and we got some priceless memories!

We had a fantastic day on the river: morning kayaking with Genesis guiding us, then afternoon rafting with Dave. Gen gave clear and helpful instructions on approaching any rapids and was also a terrific guide to the trees, shrubs, and birds we were seeing -- much appreciated. We are passionate about the natural world and learned a lot from her. We were in solo boats and loved the chance to experience more whitewater than we had done before. They gave us a nice lunch at noon in a beautiful shady spot, and then we switched into the raft to go down the bigger rapids. In case you are nervous: we were anxious too, having never done such big rapids, but Dave is super safe and experienced, and it didnt feel terrifying at all once we were in them -- just truly thrilling. Theres a strap to hold on to and a foot holder to keep you safely anchored to the boat. It helped that it was hot that day, so getting soaked felt great too :) Dave was very responsive when I initially phoned, answering all my questions, and he also sent a reminder text the night before. The photographer sent us beautiful photos of our trip down the rapids, a great memento of the day. Thanks, Dave and Gen!

My husband and I decided to go whitewater rafting on our last day in Oregon. We had little to no experience, but our guide made us feel completely comfortable! We loved hitting the class 4 rapids and would definitely go again.

David and Genesis were great! Good vibes with great combination of chill and exciting. Felt in very competent hands throughout the whole experience and was even able to do some pretty tricky and fun maneuvers on the raft because of the guides expertise and coaching. We had an absolute blast and would highly recommend to all our friends.

We went on a two day one night trip, rafting, fishing, and concert on the rocks with Jefferson State outfitters! The guides were amazing, the food was so yummy, and lots of memories were made. Dave and Genesis at Jefferson State Outfitters give the highest quality overall rafting trip in the Rogue Valley and have pin pointed the best area on the river to ride down safely while accommodating to everyone’s needs in the most badass way possible! Mitch and David were such incredible guides. Felt like I was hanging out with friends and family. Mitch was my guide and was both highly informative about the Rogue river and rafting in general. But he also encouraged us to play, cut loose and still be safe and protected. Plus he has an incredible sense of humor and Arsenal of jokes for the River. My party comprised of two senior citizens, two college students, an eleven year old and my wife and me...AND we all had an unforgettable time. My daughter and I went on a guided fishing trip. The guide, David, did a great job. He had different fishing poles prepared and ready to go. He was very patient, as I am inexperienced and got hung up several times. We each ended up catching some nice steel head.
