I was told not to go here because someone else I knew had a bad experience. I only went because location was right down the road from the body shop working on my car. I should have listened! Horrible experience for my 1st time having to rent a car for an accident. Do not give them your debit card information because they just keep taking out money without telling you! In 2 weeks I had $900 dollars taken out of my account because insurance I didnt know I didnt need and car size didnt know should of gone smaller so no extra out of pocket money. Now to find out they charged me for 2 extra days full price and my insurance sent them the money for those 2 days. Not an honest place.

They gave away our xar and we had to travel to another location. Then we were told the car was no smoking and yet it smelled of cigarette smoke. They did adjust the bill a little bit but overall too costly.

I rented a car went to go get it a little early but it wasnt ready. The car was in the shop getting an oil change. They didnt have any other car to give me. I went back at the time I was told. The car was ready but when I tried to move the seat it wasnt working. The only other car they had for me was a mini van which I had no choice to take because my car was in the shop. I feel like they just wanted to rent me a car and not make sure its working. I always went from this place and this experience suck for me

The agents were great at the Long Island location where I picked up the car. I needed to extend the rental for another week and they were so accommodating. I will give them 5 STARS.As far as the car itself, I was not very happy. I was given the Chrysler 300s. I was going on a road trip to PA. I plugged our phones in and 1/2 way through the trip we realized that our batteries were actually being drained instead of charging. All of the ports did this. This was not good as I was using WAZE for the directions. The car also was not very clean. The outside was filthy and at dusk when the sun hit the windshield I could not see because it was so filthy. There was definitely a previous smoker in the car. When we needed the heat on at night it could be smelled right away. I called the office and asked to switch the car out. There was no problem. However I dealt with almost all the same issues with the second car.Advice: Check the car inside and out thoroughly before you leave the lot.For the car itself I give 1 STAR.Overall I give 3 STARS.

Rented back in December. Terrible experience. Building is rundown. Rental vehicle was disgusting. Vehicle also had expired license plates which I was ticketed for in January (2020) and am STILL waiting for someone to respond to my appeal (June 2020). Reached out to the office, they took my info and said they will call or email. No one did. Reached out to Enterprise support, gave them all the info with proof, said the same thing and still never updated me. I sent another email TODAY. Hoping for an update. Will be keeping this at 1 star unless process this refund for a mistake their own representatives made.

I returned my rental car at this location and when inspecting the car they found a tiny crack which you had to get extremely close to even see it in the front grill. This inspection was performed in the dark where the clerk had to use a flashlight in order to locate it. The miniscule crack was not detectable by an overview inspection. He just about needed a magnifying glass. This crack could have been very easy been overlooked by previous clerks.I have no idea it was there and he says he has to file a claim against my insurance company. Completely bogus. Ill never rent a car from Enterprise again.

This enterprise is in my town of central islip. I always have a bad experience when I go to this location. Go anyway but this location.

Went shop for car. Drove lot And didnt see anything worth getting to see.

Had a death in the family this morning needed to get to NJ ASAP and the heat in my truck bombed out overnight so I needed to put it in the shop . Figured I’d get a rental for a night or two while it’s in the shop to get to my family in NJ. The young lady gave me the hardest time. I called the 1-800 number they said bring in 2 pieces of mail one a bill for the new address I did that and that wasn’t good enough. She needed more.I showed everything but my pant size and she still gave me issues. I ended up going to hertz and they had me in and out within 20 minutes.

I just love it how quickly it was everything the pick up and the return.

Made a reservation for a pickup truck at 10:30 AM for pickup at 5 PM. Went to pick it up at 4:30 and they gave it away. Then when I asked if any other locations had any pick up trucks the girl told me no, all the pick up trucks in the area were out.I left and called another Enterprise location in the area and guess what? They had pick up trucks.

I had my car repaired and there was an Enterprise counter inside the collision shop. For the 5 days they had my car I took a rental. The female employee was friendly and professional. She explained everything clearly and got in the car with me to go over all the features. Very helpful and convenient. Great!

I’m a little disappointed. I think the customer service is great at this location. However, I rented a car for a 1 day rental and then called to extend my rental one more day (which they did with no issues). I drove all the way to Buffalo and the day I was supposed to drive back we got some snow. I didn’t feel like driving 7hrs in that weather so I kept the car one more day. I went to return the car on a Saturday and I knew I wasn’t going to make it there before their closing time, but I thought it was okay because I could still drop the keys in a drop off box... well, for my surprise they don’t have a drop off box which means I couldn’t leave the car and also they’re closed on Sundays, so I was stuck with the car for 2 days. I have my own car down here so I didn’t need to have the rental. I’m a little upset that I was still charged for the Sunday. I honestly thought they would’ve had a drop off box like they do at every location I’ve rented from. I rent from them all the time, I just feel like it’s very inconvenient to not have a way to drop off the keys after hours.

DONT USE THIS LOCATION. Bohemia location and airport location are 1000X better. I have had issues with this location TWICE. The first time I reserved a mini van and when I went to pick it up I was told they didnt have a mini-van and that my reservation doesnt guarantee me a car!Most recently, I had an accident and my insurance company set up the rental here. When I got there I asked how much the vehicle was and I was told $25/day. I then asked how much does my insurance pay and I was told $35/day. Imagine my surprise when I had a charge for $435.00 on my credit card.I immediately called the location and spoke to the manager Ryan who said he would speak with the rep (who was in training) and call me back...Its been 3 weeks and I havent heard from him. I just called Corporate.Plus - car I was given was filthy inside and out

Excellent service great prices employees treat you as a customer and when you rent a car from them both you and the employee look over the car to see if any damage to the car also when you bring the car back make sure the gas needle is back where you picked the car up and over all they do a excellent job

I was very satisfied with the friendly, accommodating staff at this location and the whole rental experience. They didnt have the type of car I reserved, but made up for it with an upgrade and were very apologetic. I use Enterprise whenever I travel because of their rates and customer service.

I made a reservation to get a rental because my vehicle was in an accident which was a total lost. I had no way of getting to enterprise I call and let them know and they send someone to pick me up I had the rental for a while after the person insurance stop paying I had to come out of pocket, when I return the vehicle I was very happy that it didnt cost me an arm and a leg, I would rent from enterprise again anytime I need a vehicle.

I am very disappointed in enterprise Rent-A-Car because for the few months that Ive been renting I have always had unlimited mileage. I was granted a free upgrade. Once I told the rep I was going out of state they limited my mileage. When returning the car another rep removed the charge. Enterprise should have unlimited mileage whether remaining in the tri-state area or leaving the state as other rental companies do. This is their downfall and prompts me to rent vehicles with another company just to get unlimited mileage. They lost my business and I rent cars at least every 3 day weekend on holidays.

The new manager brook is great and very fair if there was a problem with the rental. Im very happy she became a manager. she is always happy and smiling.

Beautiful cars they have me ride in and great customer service.

Picked up the car during snowstorm, so didnt really check things out. Next day discovered how dirty it was - passenger seat and rear seats had stains and something on one seat that looked like gum. I had to put an old towel on the seat before letting my kid sit. Trash under the seats and the console was filled with napkins and someones family photos. Spots on the windshield turned out to be on the inside - disgusting.

This is the worst rent a car. The rented me a car and it had a strong marihuana smell and the police stoped me and he Told me that if I was smoking o trafficking marihuana in the car and they arrested us for 3 hours until they inspect the all car and now they said, we can give you $50 off

Made a reservation twice and they dont have enough cars. They overbooked it and theres nothing that they can do. Imagine i have my car at the shop because the rental availability date. And now no rental.

My daughter was given a Nissan Versa Blue. It was dirty inside and outside , the radio on left front side was blown so it sound horrible.

Very disappointed, I made the reservation online, the time was for 8.00 am, I received a call that the vehicle was for 10.00 am, the car was at the airport, then they informed me that by 12.00, he informed him that he was returning to at 4.00 pm, when I arrive they will deliver the car to me, the surprise was that I reserved to deliver in staunton VA, then they informed me that they do not do it with delivery elsewhere, but that I could deliver it but the cost was 422.00 dollar and not 79.00 as I reserve.In conclusion, be careful because the experience I received was bad for the moment, but good for the future, I do not plan to return to that place because things are not explained well, I do not understand with what intention.
