The first time they used an actual carpet cleaner that sucked up the dirty water. They convinced us to sign a contract. The next time the only brought a carpet buffer and used something that is supposed to make the dirt lift right out with gather vacuum after it’s completely dry. It took a long time to dry and it was still just as dirty after we let it dry and vacuumed. Even simple dirty spots that should have come up way were still there. After a while of vacuuming and seeing no change I used our home carpet cleaner and got the spots up without any problem. 6 months later they insisted on coming again to show us they could do better. Same guy- same tools- same outcome… each time he also “cleaned” the stairs which was a bucket and brush which looked like hard work but still left the dirty water. The carpets and stairs took forever to dry. They were misleading on the contract- saying they would clean the same areas as the first time for a deal, but actually it was not the case. It was 1 floor for the deal, but the way our house is laid out the 1 floor is only 1 room and anything else is extra.They convinced my mom to come out again. We demanded that if they came they had to bring the other machine that sticks up the water. They shared, then sent out a new tech that had no idea what we were talking about, poor kid didn’t know it was worthless cleaning and he repeated the same nonsense about vacuuming it up. Then convinced her to continue the cleaning- same outcome. Now they keep calling us even though we were clear that their work is unsatisfactory.

I had the pleasure of technician DARIS cleaning my carpets. Over 10 years since my carpets were cleaned with pet stains as well. He was kind, courteous, professional, and on time. He explained the process to me and how the added deodorizer would eliminate the smell of pet urine during extraction, He was right! Not only do my carpets look brand new again my house smells fresh and clean. Thank you DARIS for doing such an amazing job! Carpet was dry and ready to walk on in less than a day!

I cannot rave enough about this company. My husband and I recently bought a house and the previous homeowners had cats and dogs that had left a pet smell in the carpet. After the first cleaning, we still noticed a slight smell and had found some additional spots. They came back out a retreated the few areas we noticed. A week later, it was still not 100% gone and there were some areas that just did not take very well to the cleaning and deodorizer. They came back AGAIN. Everyone we talk to is SO friendly and I am so pleased with their service and guarantee. Our carpets look and feel amazing and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They call me continuously to book an appointment. First experience My couch looked exactly the same as before they cleaned it. And my carpets have been cleaned better with a rented rug doctor. Not worth the money. Second experience, they called and called so I thought I’d give them another chance. I had scheduled an appointment, but had to cancel because of sick kids that I was taking to the doctor 30 minutes before my appointment. I called hours in advance to reschedule and the manager was so rude to me, telling me I was just making up an excuse and that he had no way of contacting his contractor. Like cell phones don’t exist!?!? He kept yelling at me on the phone and was so rude. I was going to reschedule, but not now. I’ve never had anyone treat me the way he did. Do not ever use this company.

Lonnie cleaned our furnace air ducts yesterday and did a fantastic job. He left no mess behind and was real quick!

Our carpets look fantastic!!! Josh was able to get out to us earlier and they were able to squeeze us in with only 2 days notice. We will definitely use them again. They also did a deodorant to get rid of any smells our dog might try and mark as his own. We then had them seal the carpet to help prevent future stains.

Carl (the manager) is the most disrespectful person Ive ever worked with at Deluxe Carpet Cleaning. I called today to cancel my appointment due to an emergency. I was planning on rescheduling, but according to Carl they have no way to get a hold of the contractors. He said hed do his best to get a hold of Brandon, but that I just have to tell him Im cancelling when he arrives to start cleaning. I am calling six hours in advance, but he cant tell me Brandons number at all. I told him Id be writing a bad review because of the poor customer service. He told me things like I dont get why this is so hard for you to understand make sure you write that youre a quality customer when you write your review and youre the one dishing out attitude. Carl is the most disrespectful person Ive ever done business with. I will no loner work with this company because of his poor attitude. Carl was rude to me, and my fiance. I dont understand how I am a bad customer for trying to cancel due to an emergency well in advance, but cancelling upon arrival is better? Im a quality customer for cancelling the day of according to Carl. Sorry Carl, life happens. I cant help that we had a family emergency. Brandon on the other hand is great.

Best carpet cleaning I’ve ever had done. Steve was in time, carpets look great,and he helped me move some furniture. Scrubbed the deep stains. Steve even quickly fixed a toilet that was constantly running. Great experience all around. Will use them again.

Signed up for $40 special for 500 sq ft. Got charged a $120.00 for stairs and 1 hallaway, ridiculous!!! Also showed up with a regular carpet cleaner that most people already own. Disappointing to say the least. Wont recommend.

The carpet cleaning is ok, but the people who schedule the appointments are awful. There are plenty of carpet cleaning companies. I would definitely recommend ANY company rather than this one. I have never had anyone who works with customers yell at me like this guy did. All to reschedule an appointment. Don’t give this company your business.

These 5 star reviews are fake and probably done by the owners. I had to hire another carpet cleaner after deluxe because they did such a horrible job. I have video evidence of it. Companies like this dont need to be stealing jobs from good carpet cleaners. I want a refund. They did a pet urine restoration and my rooms still have a urine smell. Carpets are still black. I could of fine a better job with a rug doctor.

I was told it would 119.00 to clean carpets in the hallway and three bedrooms. They ended up adding 79.99 for deodorizer and 20.00 extra for a small amount of carpet in the walk in closet that hooks to my bedroom. I will never use this company again. Had to clean spots I pointed out to the carpet cleaner guy. He ran into the walls a lot. I was told it may be little more for urine stains. Not 120 more!! ridiculous when you call and Seth just says oh well! Not a great way to run a business. He would have been better off saying it would be 120.00 more for pet urine stains and I would have told them never mind and had another cleaning company do it.

I have to say that I could not believe how bad of a situation I had with them. Their crew man came to the home, did a walk through with me to find out what needed to be done. I explained the situation in the rooms that needed a little more attention. Showed him stains and place that stood out. He told me it would be a couple of hours. I came back and the landlords sister met me there. He was not done at the time so she told me she would lock up. I then received a call from the landlord the next day and he told me they could not believe how horrible of a job the cleaning was. He said that there is no way a professional cleaner come and did this. I had to go back out that following weekend and fix the issue. I had no idea what I ran into. It looked like the cleaning guy just ran his cleaner over it with no soap or anything. All the rooms I requested were so bad. I still had furniture marks on the floor. Right there should tell you the job was not done right. They told me that they would come in, scrub the floors, clean the spots and vacuum. Not one room was vacuumed and half the rooms still had furniture marks. I have been trying to get this fix and they are not willing to do anything. I found out that their employee was brand new and only been with the company for a week. This just added to my situation. I highly recommend never to use this company. They are not willing to do anything or even for on second think that they could have done this. I had proof, pictures, witnesses, etc and they still told me there was nothing they could do. Please dont subject yourself to this company because they will rip you off in the end.

I love these guys. I’m usually hesitant about service plans but, being dog owners and with kids in the house, we need to clean well and often. They slick up stains really well and the floor isn’t totally drenched after. I hate paying the price to clean my couch but that’s my fault for buying microfiber. Don’t do it! They do a good job on that too. Ask for Creek. 👍🏻

I was hesitant to use this company because of the bad reviews on google but I had a great experience. I talked to Seth over the phone and he was great. I had a leak in my basement and he helped me identify the service I needed to get rid of the musty smell. Steve was our technician and he did a great job. He explained how he was going to clean the carpet and how to make it last as long as possible. He was very courteous during the whole process. I did end up purchasing some extra protection but not because he was pushy about it. Most importantly, the carpet looks and smells great. I would definitely recommend this company over other carpet cleaning companies we have used.

Had these guys come clean our carpet, we had a bid for $250. They sold my wife an extra protection that was $70 and the bill ended being $500. What a joke! I called the next day and they basically said because my wife signed and paid the bill there was nothing we could do. Dont use these guys, they will screw you!

My experience with Deluxe Carpet cleaning was nothing like Ive seen described in many of these reviews. As someone who worked for a carpet cleaning company in college and owns multiple rental properties, I have to say that Deluxe is one of the best companies Ive dealt with.I will admit, at first I was skeptical due to them using personal vehicles. However, my technician was clean shaven, well groomed, and well dressed. He was respectful, cleaned well, and was fairly quick.Ill definitely use them again. Thanks for the great service guys!

They guaranteed the carpets would be clean or they would come back out. I sent them pictures of the bad job their technician had done, so they sent someone else out. I watched him this time! They dont even go to the edges of the carpet. I vacuumed it with my own vacuum, a rainbow so there was nothing else in it, they missed a ton. Lesson learned I guess, dont hire this company. They suck when they shouldnt, but dont when they should.

Well. Stupid me for not looking at the reviews before using this company. Oh well. Mine is a similar story as many others here -- Charged more than they told me, tried to up-sell me their special products (Which I thought were included in the price), didnt move even the smallest of my furniture (side tables, etc. despite their website saying not to worry about any prep work or moving furniture..), so now I have awkward NOT cleaned spots for my new tenants moving in... And then when I called and asked about it, they called their technician and he outright lied saying that hed moved the furniture, cleaned, and then just put it back... But Im not blind. Im just stupid -- I shouldve been there while he worked. I should have gone to the house and inspected his work before paying. I should have checked the reviews. Oh, and then, after I went to call them back today to try one more time to resolve things, and the phone just rings and rings, so Im pretty sure they blocked my number... Ya. Very professional guys. After 3 attempts to remove a pet smell we where not satisfied with the results. They held true to their word and theyre in the works to refunding us our money. The owner was very understanding and willing to do whatever to make us happy. For that they deserve a good review. However, I wish the smell was removed. I ended up replacing the carpet. I will use them in the future for basic cleaning.

I could have never seen this experience coming. The most efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, affordable and flat out amazing service and result I could ever ask for! The cleaned my air ducts Wow. First the positive: The guys were nice and friendly. The negative: The way they clean the air ducts will never get them clean. It was a joke. They basically stick a vacuum hose down the vent as far as they can and simply wiggle it around. They carry around a brush that is attached to flexible shaft to brush out the vents but it doesnt get everywhere, nor do they do it to every vent. They only can truly clean what they can reach at an arms length. I inspected one of the cold-air returns they cleaned only to find literally inches....INCHES -- no exaggeration, of dust particles beyond what they could reach. I could not believe it. I call the guy on it and he didnt know what to say. He backpedaled saying that he really wasnt through with that vent yet. He tried snaking the vacuum hose down into it but could not get everything out. If you want to get more of the junk out of your ducts than what you can see when you take off the vent, dont go with these guys. Very very disappointed.

I have used this carpet service for four or five years and have found their service to be excellent. I have white carpet throughout my house, plus pets, and I usually only have the carpet cleaned once or at most twice a year, which means it is really in serious need of cleaning by the time Deluxe Carpet gets here! They work incredibly hard for me and I have always been impressed by their willingness to come in the late afternoon and work into the evening, which is the best time for my household. These carpet cleaners work hard and stick to a job as long as they have to to get the best possible result. Im happy to recommend their services. By the way, I live in Provo/Orem area and the business is located in Centerville, which hasnt posed a problem.

Work is adequate but I have been stuck dealing with pushy carpet cleaners trying to increase the cost from the quoted bid every time I have hired them (4 times ). Some of their carpet techs are also extremely rude. The biggest issue is the incessant phone calls and borderline harassment I have received since doing business with them. Dont do business with these people unless you want to pay more than the agreed price or want to get called every day for the rest of your life.

DONT TAKE THE RISK!!! I have used Deluxe Carpet Cleaning 3 or 4 times a year for the past 6 or 7 years since I moved into this house. I very well may be their best customer. Generally, they do a good job for me. Every once in a while, you get a tech thats a high-pressure salesman to get you to use add-on products for extra money. One time, the kid showed up two hours late and when I refused to use the add-on products, he refused to clean my carpet and left! Yesterday, Brad was the tech and tried to up-sell me to their disinfectant and protectant product for an extra $50. He said he was going to charge me because he already started using it. I explained that I knew the routine and told him firmly that I was not going to pay extra for it. He called the owner and said the owner told him that if I wasnt going to use it, then maybe I should just find another company to clean my carpets. Brad did the work, but today, my carpet is still wet, NONE of the stains came out (they ALWAYS COME OUT) and there is a 12 x 18 spot in the middle of the hallway thats black and is still wet. That wasnt there before. My guess is that Brad was so angry that I refused to spend the extra $50 that he didnt use any detergent at all and then poured dirty water into a huge spot in the hallway. He really showed me. Stupid of me to not watch him like a hawk. Now I have to go find a new company and pay another $100. I just hope that black spot comes out of my white carpet. There are a lot of carpet cleaning companies out there. DELUXE CARPET IS JUST NOT WORTH THE RISK.Edit: Just had another company come to clean. Carpet looks GREAT! Concerns confirmed - Looks like Brad did spill a bucket of dirty water on purpose to make the stain in the hallway and didnt use any detergent on the carpet. New company got all the stains out no problem.

Every morning is about how to constantly up-sell every client.I noticed that if a client refuses these offers they dont take as much care as they would for someone who does pay. This is a sales driven company not a carpet cleaning business. If you ask for anyone ask for Rosty.He is by far the one you want working for you, as he treats every customer with equal respect, and doesnt cut corners for anyone.Ive been in construction 20+ years. and have all kind of banter. But this place goes above and beyond what I would call ethical or professional.As for the cleaning. It is by far better than most cleaners, but again youll want to have those extra treatments they offer because that is what makes it better.Unfortunately, the $99 offer is a gimmick to get in the door to screw you over on prices which changes for everyone (not kidding). Its too bad they cant just offer the best cleaning at just a higher price and believe in their own system.To me, with my renovation business. I dont have a gimmick, Im not the cheapest because I do great work, and my clients know it, and pass me along to the next guy.What they need to do is, offer the best cleaning in town with all the bells and whistles and charge what they should based on square footage of the home. $99 would be great for a single level home with living room, hall, and maybe two bedrooms.Too bad, they have potential, and you will get clean carpets, and good service as long as you are willing to pay for it.

These guys are disgusting — after buying a promotion to clean my grandma’s carpets they proceeded to call her every 6 months. She would agree to have her carpets cleaned again. This happened for almost two years before my dad saw it in her bank statement. My aunt called and spoke to the manager. He seemed sympathetic and said they would not call her anymore. Should have read the reviews. $99.00 bait and switch. I canceled, paid the fee and counted my blessings. I have no idea if they would have done a good job. I just know I had the upsell. Just be honest. If is says $99.00 three rooms then detail what three rooms means to you, because to me three rooms means three rooms, not a set of stairs and the carpet between the rooms. I am giving two stars because the man was courteous.

My carpets look absolutely amazing I told them exactly what I wanted over the phone and they came out did exactly what I wanted! The previous renters had 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird 🤢 the smell was awful. I will never use a different company! They did a beautiful job!

I totally love my carpets now. The technicians are always professional and nice to have in my home. Im very picky about who comes into my home to do any kind of work. They have to be kind, pleasant and do a good job without trying to sell me a million dollars worth of extra stuff. I had another company clean my carpet for me and they were terrible and I wouldnt trust them. I dont think its good to name names but this other company always advertises on KSL radio. DONT use that company that says they dont leave residue in your carpet. They were a complete rip off...LOVE LOVE DELUXE

This service is not worth it. The guy shows up in a car with essentially a portable shopvac and some long hose and just vacuums out your ducts. Its not a dedicated specialized duct cleaning truck with reverse pressure system and spinning brush that agitates all the surfaces and truly cleans them. Its a dude with a portable vacuum cleaner. Below is a picture showing one of my ducts AFTER their cleaning. Its still full of junk. The guy didnt even turn the furnaces off while he was cleaning so air was still blowing and getting whatever was agitated blown right back out. I encourage anyone thinking of duct cleaning to look at some videos on the internet of companies doing it correctly and the specialized equipment they use. This company had none of that. **UPDATE** After contacting a supervisor and sending photos of the poor job, they refunded my money. I would never, ever use this company again.

Wow is all I have to say... First off I only used them because I was in a bind as a house flipper and needed my ducts cleaned at a couple houses. Because my regular guy was unavailable. Anyways they called my wife upwards of 50 times over a year span after about 15 times of telling them she wasnt interested she just stopped answering the calls until I showed her how to block there number. I had them do a job for me dispite all of that. They got done with the job and I was unavailable to pay because of no cell phone service, they called my secretary over 15 times to collect they drove to my business partners house and told him we where dodging them and not paying our bills, all in a days work. Amazing. I can see why they have a horrible rating. I am just very worried to see the condition of my duct work at this home. I may be adding another review depending on the condition of the home. But I would not be surprised to have a horrible job done.

They call me relentlessly...at least 10 times per week because they are in the area. We are moving and Ive asked them not to call...told them they are harassing me. They call both my cell and house. I block numbers and they call from other numbers. Ive tried calling back and get a busy signal. I am so fed up I can hardly see straight. Leave...me...alone. I do not want your service. I will take legal action if you continue to harass me.

I originally hired Deluxe Carpet Cleaning to clean apartments at a complex that my wife and I managed. We stopped managing 3 years ago and moved. They continue to call my wife and myself every couple months. We have asked them to stop several times. Both of us have been informed multiple times that our file is being thrown away. I have been lied to on multiple occasions that they will discontinue calling us. I have hung up on them dozens of time. My wife and I have both threatened to sue. We are now planning to document ongoing harassment.The one time we used them, they only spent 15 minutes cleaning a 3 bedroom apartment above our own.

The worst experience ever. The technican cleaned the carpet but some spots were still dry, never touched by his machine. He did not care to correct that, even after I told him, he said „that is as good as it gets“, he did not clean the corners. Then he tried to upsell services me two times. I asked him if he could get the few small stains out of a love seat, he said he could. And left it worse than it ever was. Disappointed!!!

Horrible experience! The tile cleaning in my house was very EXPENSIVE and it looked exactly the same. They didnt try and get in corners or anything. Carpet is ok, but Ive had other companies do much better. I had them come out a 2nd time to redo the tile and they sent the same guy and he said thats as good as it will get and left. BEWARE. They dont do a good job at all. All they bring is a little buffer machine.

Absolutely the best carpet cleaning I have ever had done in my home!

They really do clean the carpets well. They are friendly and courteous. HOWEVER, one of their reps stole several pieces of our jewelry. Since the cops cant PROVE it was either of them, the company feels they have no obligation and so REFUSES to compensate for any of it. These were heirloom rings and very precious to us, and my husbands favorite watch. They claim to be bonded and insured but they wont act on it. They may clean well but we will never use them again.

TOTAL SCAM - I learned my lesson and should have researched first. I was called and offered a rate. They had me on file and quoted me $99.00 for a spring special. I spoke with the cleaner who showed up who then indicated I had two additional returns and 4 additional vents. I told him I did not pay more than $140 the last time. I also told him that I did not have more than $150 to pay him with. He then went and did things above and beyond that were not asked for. The cleaner also invited someone who I suspect was a friend and then said that he was training her. At the end he charged me $220!!!!!! THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. SEE THE WASHINGTON POST ARTICLE AND THE CONSUMER REPORTS ARTICLE ABOUT DUCT CLEANING BEING A SCAM. Further I called them to see what they could do and they wanted to send another technician out to review my system. I said no and just to remove me from their list.

If I could leave negative stars for this company I would. They wouldnt honor the carpet cleaning contract as written. Cash disappeared when the ducts were cleaned, and the man signed his name as deepthroat. I complained about it to the company to no avail. I asked them to not contact us any longer. However they are very aggressive about marketing and called us consistently for years, and even dropped by to try to sell their services. Nothing I said would make a difference, until they finally slowed down within the last year or so. But today I learned that they are using our name as a positive reference to sell to our neighbors. So on top of being overly aggressive and breaking contracts, they are lying to our neighbors. Perhaps these people should be in another line of work. Customer service is obviously not their strength.

These guys cleaned the carpets in my condo 5 or 6 years ago. The work they did was ok. Since then they call me every 5 to 6 months to see if I need more work done. EVERY single time they call I ask to be taken off of their call list but it never happens. These guys suck.

They were 1 hour late. Told me it would take an hour to clean, took 3 hours. After they left the carpet didnt look much cleaner, and now has a strange residue on it--like the soap dried or something and is now stuck on my carpet. Out $200 and still feel like I need my carpet cleaned... will not return.

I had Deluxe Carpet Cleaning come out to my home to clean the vents. The first crew that came out did a horrible job. I contacted the office and they were very professional and apologized for the inconvenience to our family. They rescheduled an appointment and sent out the best and most professional crew . They re-cleaned our vents, and took care of my concerns. Too often people get on the internet and give only bad reviews. I would have given a full five stars if I would have had this crew from the start. Give them the opportunity to service your home, they deserve it.

Horrible service, never will use them again. First off they were later and the service technician had horrible B.O. Second they said they would vacuum and did a horrible job. A five year old could do a better job. Third the cleaning was a joke. They used my water, had a old machine and did my whole house 3 rooms and a hallway in half hour. Finally, they ran into all my base board, 3 doors, and scratched my furniture. When I called the manager Mike whom I dont believe is him, said he would be there in half hour and he didnt show up for 2.5 hours late. I showed him all the scratches on my walls, baseboards, and furniture. He assured me it wasnt them. I know 100% it was, due to the fact that I have my house cleaned weekly. He told me he would take 60.00 off my bill, if I write him another check. I said no, go get my first check. He said okay I will bet back in 15 minutes, another 45 minutes later he came back. I took my check back and told him my husband will call him and they can negotiate what is going to happn. Basically he called me stupid, poor, lazy, and left laughing at me. at least I got my money back. People beware, they will scam you and do a horrible job.

Totally disappointed in this company. The carpet cleaning was a joke. The employee that did the work was a hard worker but Im not sure what was actually done. My carpet looked vacuumed and thats about it.

I would rather not put any rating on this as our experience was so awful. My 85 year old mother in law was taken by this company for 1,180.00 for what I can tell was maybe an hours worth of work. They claimed to have cleaned carpets, rugs and furniture, other than a few spots on her carpet nothing else needed to be done.She didnt remember making an appointment with them, she does have a form of alzheimers, and was very overwhelmed with what they were doing. They are very pushy, and they really dont do a very good job. Like other people have mentioned, I have been trying to get her name off their contact list for over two years . I have been tracking their phone numbers on my mother in laws caller ID.This company uses lots of different numbers and names making it a challenge to stay ahead of, they also have in the past shown up at her door saying we were in the neighborhood and can see that she is due, making her believe that they needed to be there. They are preying on the elderly. They use very deceptive business practices. And they are extremely hard to get a person to actually talk too. I hope and pray that no one else has to go through this. They are awful! Please BEWARE.

The technician sent out to clean our carpets cut a lot of corners to get done quickly. He said it would be ok if I wanted to leave and come back in an hour. He did not vacuum well at all. He offered to clean the vinyl in the kitchen for $50. When he dropped it to $40 I said ok. He promised to get down on his hands and knees and scrub the dirty spots. ( This is an apartment that we rent out) After he left, I walked around wondering what he did. I wet a paper towel and tried to clean a spot in the kitchen. It came clean so I tried more areas and they came clean. My paper towel and water worked better than his super duper formula. Like I said, I dont know what he did!

These guys call and call. Ive told them to put me on their do not call list and for some reason they keep calling. Ive even told them Ive moved out of state. Ive blocked a few of their numbers too. They just dont get it!

My 82 year old mother got a quote to have 3 rooms cleaned for $99. While there, they talked her into 2 other runner areas for $11 each area. 99 + 22 = 121........ I am not sure what math they use at Deluxe, but my Mom paid a bill for $350! The guy said he gave her the 4 step process so that is why the price was almost triple what was quoted. I wish I was there so she would not have been taken advantage of from these crooks. Tell your friends and family, run away from this place!

Bottom line, do not use this company if your wanting clean carpets. I paid 180.00 for two bedrooms and 15 stairs. He showed up in a small car and used a cleaner that looked like he rented from Walmart. The tech sprayed cleaner on my stairs, scrubbed it around with a hand brush and that was it. He didn’t extract anything from the stairs and he spent less than 2 minutes in each bedroom.I went over the soaking wet stairs with a clean white towel after the technician left and Icould soak up black dirt from just rubbing the towel on the stair. I wish I could post the pictures and videos of the dirt we pulled from the stairs after the tech “cleaned them”.

Save yourself a headache, call somebody else!! After paying $350 my ducts were still dirty because actually… they did not clean them!!!! I am lucky I checked them after they left. Thankfully my credit card company got my money back from these fraudsters.

This guy came out and I didnt see any hose or anything that he was cleaning with.. I saw a floor polisher. I was like WTH. They looked ok but the carpets are still sticky.. I am so upset I just blew all that money!

Terrible!!! Dont waste your time or money for carpets or vents. Do not give them your phone number they will call you to the point of harassment. I am sending a letter to the BB as well as the fair trade commission on this company.

Customer service was good but job done was subpar and was upcharged on costs. I have to go back in and vacuum over it to pick up remainer debris and clean the sink after mess left.

I called and made an appointment asked them how much it would be to carpet clean as well as my vents. I continued to tell them that i did have animals as well as things have been spilt on the floor. told them i had two rooms, stairs, and a tiny hallway. he said it would not be more then 210. they showed up walked into my house and told me from what im seeing were gonna have to charge you double what we told you. WHO DOES THIS!!!!! NEVER WILL I EVER TRY AND GET MY CARPETS CLEANED FROM THESE GUYS EVER AGAIN! Dont tell someone its going to be one price and then show up and try and double the price.SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!

Basic bait and switch. Dont do it. Plus the guy left a mess after cleaning the ducts. He tried to close up the vents without cleaning them. If I wasnt watching him he wouldnt have cleaned them. With the equipment he had he couldnt get it all clean anyway. I had a Very bad feeling after he left.

They are so rude! I dont even know how they got my number but they kept calling me so i finally scheduled with them because I was planning on getting my carpets cleaned anyway but I had to call to reschedule because I got called into work and wasnt going to be home and some guy got on the phone and bitched me out saying I cost them money then hung up on me. That just shows how professional this company is. I would not recommend them to anyone and if I would have seen all these bad reviews before I would have never scheduled an appointment with them anyway.

I felt kind of silly for hiring them to clean my ducts, because after I saw what they did for $119, I realize that I could have done the very same thing with my own shop vac. I hired a fellow to come clean out my furnace the following Monday and all the stuff in the vents was simply pushed down into the furnace, where the furnace guy removed it. My husband was mad at me for spending this money for what we could have done ourselves. Theres no science to it--just get an extension wand for your vacuum and clean out your own vents rather than pay this crazy price.

Just had to kick one of their cleaners out of our house after he complained and cried about having to move a few pieces of furniture, and even called his manager to try to lie to him and laugh about us while we were standing right next to him. We had a few pieces of clothes we left on tiles specifically so he didnt have to deal with them, and tried to tell his boss that we were trying to ask him to fold clothes, and that we expected him to be a maid, all the while we were having to move shelves around in our house to accommodate him. An absolute lying thief. Not to mention the incessant nagging phone calls, where they even ended up using friends phones to try to trick us into answering the phone. Do not book with these jokes. Id rather hire a racoon to clean our house. Going with ZeroRes.

They changed the price numerous times. very pushy salesman who would not take no for an answer. Price ended up being $70 higher than the quoted. They also arrived late with no phone call. We would not recommend.

If I could leave a NO Star review I would!!! We just moved into an old home and my wife has terrible allergies. She was quoted a price on the phone for duct cleaning and carpets; tech shows up and immediately upsells her to over DOUBLE the price. Guy is insistent that she sign a work order. He then proceeds to SHOPVAC the ducts. I could have done a better job myself with a vacume cleaner.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I used the Orem service. While the technicians were pleasant and polite, the job they performed was mediocre at best. I could have done the same by renting a carpet cleaner from Lowes or Home Depot.Normally, I wouldnt have bothered even writing a review, but Im most annoyed with their aggressive telemarketing. I had them come out to clean my carpets in November of 2011, and I have received phone calls from them about every 3 months since even though Ive asked them to take me off of their phone list.Between the sub-par service and the annoying telemarketing, I most definitely would NOT recommend Deluxe Carpet Cleaning.

These guys have old dated equipment. I should have turned him right back out the door when he showed up with some 1970s looking machine that he pulled out of the trunk of his sedan. But this is the first time as a homeowner to have my carpets cleaned, and was a little unsure of myself. I fell for the online bate and switch price, ended up paying more than 3x what they quoted on their google ad because they kept adding on features and --hey--they were the experts--, and I was desperate with company coming.

Didnt call until they were at the door, showed up in a car and had equipment sitting at the door (machine that rents for $35)! Told me the house wreaked of pet odor and needed special sanitization, 35 minutes later called for payment (5 rooms, hall, 20 stairs)?! Lied saying on-site 10-15 mins before called me, NOT! Serviced my rental Friday, called a total of 15 times for payment Friday-Saturday! Emailed them approval on Monday, still trying to collect Wednesday...NEVER AGAIN!!!

(Updated 1/16)After filing a BBB complaint, I received an email from Chris Sovereen who sent me a check for more than double the amount of the original refund. At least my experience with the company ended on a positive note.I called these guys to clean out our air ducts in the house we just bought. The guy that came out (10/13/2013) was nice enough. We did a walkthrough of all the vents to clean before he started. After he finished, he came back and said that he found rat feces in some of the vents and recommended some cleaner that cost $250. I asked him to show me the feces and he said that he vacuumed it all up, but assured me it was there. i went ahead and let the guy up-sell me on something I was not planning on having done. After he finished up and he was ready to take my payment, he said that he found an additional five vents that he didnt see on our walkthrough. I was in a hurry to get to a meeting so I just took his word and paid the final amount.The next day I got curious and counted all our vents. I did find a couple that were unaccounted for, but the guy still over-counted by some vents. I called the company and they said theyd send someone out to do a recount. Sure enough, this other guy agreed that we were overcharged. He said wed receive a check in the mail within 2-3 weeks. This was on 10/15. After about a month I called the company to ask where our check was. I spoke with a guy named Tanner. He said he had to contact their corporate person and that person would call me back that day. No call. I called a week later. Spoke with what I assume is their receptionist. She said she couldnt transfer me to anyone who could help me. Called back a week later. Same exact story.Called back on 12/6 and spoke again with Tanner. He said he didnt remember anything about a refund. Said his manager was coming in that afternoon and I would get a call from him. No call.Its bad enough that these guys did a mediocre-at-best job at cleaning our vents and then conveniently couldnt show me proof of the rat feces that I was assured needed to be cleaned out. But its another thing to overcharge me, waste my time to come back out and do a recount because they didnt believe me, not send my refund check, and then keep giving me the run-around whenever I call in.

They are the worst carpet cleaning company out there. The idea about cleaning carpet in to draw the dirt out collect it in a container and dump dirt of whatever out. The same concept as a vacuum right. Not with these people they use a buffer like what you use to buff a wood floor or tile. So I till the guy we want the carpet cleaned not buffed. He tells me that the cleaning liquid that they use is worked into the carpet. Then it breaks down the dirt and it goes away. I cant believe that this guy was really telling this !! I told him pick up your equipment and leave. They are a big rip off !! I will never use them again !! Beware of these people !!

Terrible Job results! When I called they told me they were steam cleaning company and they will extract. All the stains were gonna be away. Will desinfect all the areas. Nothing of this was true. They claim to be steam cleaning but they only buffer the carpet. The solution they put is just temporary cause after dries everything came back. My husband totally dissapointed. They offered to clean again the same way. No way Jose!!! Ruin the carpet again. Thanks but Noooooo. Should have read the reviews before!

Be prepared for non stop solicitation! UGH! Every other day. DO NOT CALL AGAIN!

Should have read reviews, service is as bad or worse than reported. Charged for work not done. one of the worst duct cleaning companies ever. Very dishonest.

A business I worked for used them a few times a few years back to clean carpets. The quality of the job was inconsistent. I made the mistake of giving them my cell phone as the contact and they continually call to telemarket their specials despite the fact that I am no longer associated with that business and have requested multiple times they remove my number. They are rude and unprofessional.

Showed up under the impression we were getting a $130 cleaning job. $350 later I am confused and frustrated.

James, please stop calling me! I just hang up, and based on the reviews it is apparent Deluxs business model annoys customers. Your value is not meeting what customers are demanding in carpet cleaning.

I cant believe I didnt check the reviews first. It was NOT worth the money, my carpets are still dirty.

We use them once and they will not stop harassing us. I have to ask to be put on the Do Not Call list 7 times but they continue to call.

NON STOP SOLICITATION. They call me several times a week and Ive been asked to be taken off their call list countless times. They cleaned my carpets two years ago and it was mediocre but the solicitation is so annoying I will never use them again. PLEASE TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST.
