Went in for my second pop tart sized laser tattoo removal treatment and it tickled a little bit like he warned me but just like the first treatment I was surprised by how quickly it went by. He did a good job engaging in conversation which probably contributed to how quickly it seemed to go by, and Im sure is helpful for clients who have larger tattoos and/or in more sensitive areas. Id say I was in and out in about 15 minutes and most of the time was prep.

Do not go see these people. Vindictive and unappreciative of business. Think they are above the people they service. Dont realize they are nothing more than a service business. Think they have specialization equivalent of heart surgeons and treat people like there is no other service out there to take business too. Highly recommend you seek the simple treatment they deliver to a business that appreciates its customers!! Wont go into specifics but Beth thinks shes gods gift to laser and treats with outdated equipment. Dont be late or shell turn up the setting to inflict pain!

Unfortunately I never got to experience this place. I found it via a friends referral through Groupon. I called the place before purchasing my Groupon to see if I can get an appointment on a Saturday because I knew of their policy but I was driving from almost 2 hours away and couldnt make after work appointments. They put me on hold to ask a manager about allowing a Groupon customer in on a Saturday. The manager said YES because of my drive. So I bought my Groupon and scheduled. So, come today, the day of my appointment, I drive almost 2 hours and they inform me that my appointment was canceled because I was a Groupon customer. AFTER getting management approval. Then they had the audacity to try to sell me their membership because if I purchase it, then theyll see me right then and there. God, I have never come across such a pathetic and coercive company. In all honesty yes, I was planning on signing up for their membership anyway but wanted ONE appointment to experience the service. Well I got that experience for sure 😅. The kicker is, my friend who referred me, WAS seen on a Saturday with no issues THROUGH a Groupon. Their excuse was they left me messages ahead of time. Well no. I didnt get them in time, but even if I had, I would leave this same EXACT review because this was pre-approved.

Patrick makes tattoo removal sessions quick, educational, and he took care to dress the site afterward. Beth makes hair removal fun with a great and helpful attitude and the laser she used was relatively painless compared to other laser treatments I have had! Thank you!

Great experience! Patrick is very welcoming and does a great job of educating you and preparing you for what to expect from your treatment. Very thoughtful, offered stress balls to hold for my tattoo removal which were instrumental in getting me through the few painful seconds of lasering! Did not rush the appointment, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, and offered information and advice about other skincare concerns expressed without pressure to book other procedures or purchase products. And I really appreciate the later appointment availability! Makes scheduling much easier and less stressful.

The Smooth Skin Center is a really great business. The owners, Beth & Patrick, make you feel like family when you walk in the door. I had done full leg laser hair removal at Smooth Skin many years ago and don’t even own a razor. Lately I’ve noticed a bunch of stray hairs that have grown in. I went for a full leg laser with Jen. Wow! She was fast an efficient and it was far less painful than I remembered. Hopefully this will do the trick (a couple sessions) as I have no plans to return to shaving!

This was our first time to stop into Smooth Skin. Discovered them via Groupon. Beth met us as soon as we walked in and offered us a beverage while we worked on paperwork. She was wonderfully pleasant and cherry. Answered all our questions as well as walked my daughter through all the steps of the procedure.The office was clean and very welcoming. Not at all the image I had in my mind which was more of clinic vs a little spa like retreat. It was amazing.So glad we found this place!

This has only been my second visit for a face tightening experience. It has been a pleasant, painless experience.

Horrible. The lasers they use on you are out of date and very painful. The only reason I say this is because I recently went to a different place for my tattoo removal and it wasn’t nearly as painful and they used a cooling agent on my to help with pain. I also didn’t get scabbing and blisters like I did with smooth skin. Healing and pain was much better at tattoo must go and just as effective. I would never go here again!

I went to this business for laser for many years. My first appointment, I had to wait almost 45 minutes before I was seen. When I told the owner of this issue, she responded defensively and nothing was resolved. Then, they began a new late policy that if the customer is more than 10 minutes late, they will charge you at least $35. Thats interesting, their policy only applies to the customers and not their staff.Two years later, I had another issue, this time regarding integrity of the service. When I brought it up to the manager, Pat (the owners husband), I received an e-mail (not even a phone call) from the owner once again, as defensive as possible, and with the statement you are no longer welcome at our business. Interesting. So if a customer has an issue after two years of dishing out money to your company, your first response as a business owner is to ban them from your establishment. Classy.The only reason why I am giving two stars to this company, is only because I asked for a small refund, and surprisingly, I received it. I am truly sorry for all the other customers that did not receive their refund or their issue being resolved with this place.There is a clear connection between the lack of customer service skills/conflict resolution and their high staff turnover rate and angry, dissatisfied customers on Yelp and the BBB.Dont waste your money, time, or sanity.

Ive gone through 12 treatments of laser hair removal now, and I really have nothing to show (or not show) for it. Nice staff, just old equipment that didnt work for me. My skin is very light and I have dark hair- which is the perfect candidate for this service too. :/

Equipment is ineffective. I had seven treatments on my lip. Im very fair skinned with dark hair. The hair grew back almost as if Id never had laser. Same with my legs and underarms..... tons of treatments, spent tons of money, did everything they advised me to such as not go tanning, and BOOM right back where I started (almost). Not to mention extremely painful. Staff is extremely nice but just not a quality product delivered here.

Quick Summary: Unprofessional, no sterilization and no aftercare advice.I have to start off by being honest and saying that they just got a tattoo laser remover and were offering a free first session to any one that needed a removal. I am not one of those people who usually goes for a deal like that because I am the type of person who truly believes you get what you pay for but in this situation I ignored my better judgement. When I had arrived for my appointment I was told to fill out paper work and then obviously was to wait. 40 minutes later I was still sitting in the waiting area waiting for my appointment. The receptionist finally realized I was being pushed to my limit and just simply told me It shouldnt be too much longer, since we just got this new laser we have been backed up. I proceeded to ask her how much longer since I had been waiting for 40 minutes already. She never answered me and quickly just got on the phone and continued ignoring me. Unfortunately the technician came out just a few moments after to get me after she was informed by the receptionist that a woman before me had left because of how late they were running. The technician quickly got me and as I followed her I realized I was either being taken through their break room or at least what looked like it and then taken to a room that quickly made me take a step back. The room had a laser, a chair and several desks that had a bunch of personal items strewn around the whole room. It was not a relaxing or even a comfortable room. After I was able to get over the room they had taken me into I quickly started asking questions because these women were not going to explain a single thing to me about the laser, what was to be expected from me or even anything about the tattoo itself. I was able to get enough out of them that I at least knew I was in for some pain and at the same time that these woman did not know exactly what they were doing. Again I ignored my better judgement and sat down on the chair. The two women in the room were discussing back and forth what they were going to do and how to work the machine. Again not very comforting. They were continuing to discuss what level they should put the laser at (as if they shouldnt know) and then finally decided together what level. They never put on gloves. They never wiped down my arm to sterilize it and one of them almost forgot to put the cap on the tip of the laser for direction. It was15 min of complete and utter pain which might not be their fault but it did not help that they kept stopping to make sure they were doing it right. Finally the laser treatment was over and they were ready to get me on my way. I quickly asked what was I supposed to do for aftercare. They started stumbling over their words and continued to tell me to put vasaline on my tattoo and to keep it out of the sun. I have called three laser clinics since my appointment this afternoon and all of them were shocked and disturbed. Every single part of this experience was petrifying. It is one thing to offer something for free but then follow through as if they have no professionalism at all. All in all I would never ever ever recommend this place because if they treat a new toy at their clinic like this what else are they taking short cuts on. And just for future note: you are supposed to keep it wrapped up for three days (in which they had no type of bandage or gauze), you are to put antibiotic cream on the removal and to keep out of hot water wash with mild soap for three days and use sun block for three months ALL INFORMATION I GOT FROM CALLING OTHER CLINICS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT.
