I love this place because there is so much to get involved with here. Indoor and outdoor pools, rock climbing wall, kick boxing studio, CrossFit-esque classes, a beautiful yoga studio, spin, etc. Indoor and outdoor turf fields. Basketball courts. Indoor and outdoor tennis courts. It’s always clean, trainers are friendly, and it’s very kid-friendly. I don’t have kids so I don’t take advantage of that perk, but they have a kids club and sometimes I see the cutest ballerinas in a toddler ballet class! Couldn’t be better.

Myself and my family recently joined. This place is hands down the best place that Ive ever worked out. Everything I could possibly need to fulfill my fitness goals is here. My wife is just as equally impressed. While here, I dont have that feeling of obligation to rush through my work out, the environment is relaxed but not lazy if that makes sense. This gym is more of a health resort and it definitely has that kind feel to it. I am very happy with my decision to join this gym.

I actually really like this gym and havent had any of the experiences reflected in the negative reviews. I think they have some great instructors and a variety of classes. The gym itself has quite a few amenities, which are much nicer in comparison to some of the other local gyms. They do offer livestreaming classes as well, which I take advantage of from time to time. What I am taking one star off for, however, is their class reservations policy. You need to reserve a spot to take a class. This is great in theory, but the execution has been incredibly frustrating for me. Once you sign up for a class, you have up to two hours until prior to the start of the class to cancel the reservation. Otherwise, youll be marked as absent (depending on the instructor). 3 missed reservations in 30 days or less will temporarily suspend your ability to make a reservation for 7 days. (quoted from their site). The trouble Ive had is that:1) 2 hours prior to the start time is completely ridiculous, especially if you have kids. So much can happen just minutes before class that can make you late (sick kids, running late, change of schedule, etc.). Even with the three strikes flexibility, it feels almost insulting to get a strike when you have other life matters to deal with (especially if classes dont fill up). Begging to have this changed!2) Many, many times, Ive shown up to a class, but been marked as not there by the instructor. When I try to have this stricken from my account, its been nearly impossible. Ive never had success via emails or phone calls. It should be simple. If weve checked in/scanned our membership card at the front desk (which is easy to validate), it should be assumed that we made it to the class we signed up for.3) A couple of times, Ive never signed up for a class, but gotten a Missed reservation email.4) I also had an experience where Ive gotten a strike for going to a class that I didnt register for (but that had plenty of open spaces). I simply wanted to enjoy a class when I had the time but didnt have the opportunity to register for it as the registration window had closed. In this situation, the instructor had to go out of their way to give me a strike and apparently knew my name in order to do that. Seriously? This reservation system is flawed. So, hoping that it changes based on feedback.

Would leave a 4.5 star review if I could! The classes/instructors are AMAZING, staff is so friendly/accommodating, kids club activities/staff is awesome, and facility/equipment is new and shiny. My complaint, is the cleanliness/availability of the bathrooms for those of us with opposite gender children. As a mom of 3 boys, I have to use the family change room. Of the 8 rooms, only 2 have bathrooms, the other 6 only have showers. My youngest is only 3, so I can’t send him in the men’s bathroom alone. The 2 family bathrooms that are obviously overused are disgusting, and often we wait 5-10 minutes to get into one. I’m not thrilled about sending my 6 and 8 year old into a men’s locker room where older men are walking around naked, so we usually end up having them pee outside on a tree. We will be members of lifetime for the foreseeable future, but I am pretty disappointed at the family locker rooms!

We had a free personal trainer session with our membership. It was definitely a let down because its not a session as much as an examination to tell you where you are weak but not how to strengthen (because they want you to buy more sessions). We ended up buying a month of sessions and after the first realized it just wasnt worthwhile, the classes are much better and fit our schedule better, but they refused to refund the remainder of our money for the sessions. Complete waste. Also the womens steam room is usually dirty. Even though they are supposed to clean it at 9 and 4, it is dirty right after and sometimes for days with wads of hair in the same spot. Ive heard other locations are much better and worth the drive.

Weve been members at Lifetime Fitness Centennial since the day they opened in December 2010 after switching from a nearby health club and now saving us over $$ a month. We are extremely pleased with the facilities, the administration, employees, and the amenities that they offer. Upon arriving each day, we are welcomed by smiling staff who greet us by our first name. My husband enjoys working on the free weights and cardio machines, and the equipment is well maintained by the on-site mechanics (Bill and Nate). I enjoy the motivating and energetic group fitness classes with Kim, Heidi, Stephanie, Carrissa, Blair, Chalyce, Alex, Buji, Christy, and their amazing Group Instructor Joe Alvarado. Each of these instructors bring their A game to the class and sometimes will share a healthy recipe, sing along with the music, tell a joke, share a personal motivating story, and they always provide great modifications so that everyone feels included and successful. Not only are their group classes invigorating, their Lifespa also has some amazing services as well, with facials (Lynn and Katie), and hair stylists (Danica and Grace). If you need any special product recommendations, Christy/Lifespa Manager or Emily can assist you. After a workout, we frequently enjoy the Lifecafe managed by Jessica and Sarah, who will customize, if needed, a healthy snack, shake, or meal to enjoy in the café or to go. The personal trainers (Vicky, Liz, Kristen, Kevin, Joseph, etc.) are available to answer questions about specific exercises or to show you how to use the equipment, in addition to their 1:1 services for training and/or nutrition. The locker rooms are very clean and well maintained by the Operations staff and monitored closely for any assistance. The weekly emails that we receive provided helpful weight management/loss, exercise tips, recipes, discounts, etc. Finally, we know there are many other health club options in the area, however, we continue to enjoy our workouts at Lifetime Fitness Centennial because it is managed well by Dan and his staff, and we have made many friends at Lifetime during the past 10 years.

Large, expansive gym with lots of equipment and indoor turf field. After 5 months of being a member I finally canceled my membership with them- all due to mask policy. They put all these signs up all over saying that their staff will escort you out if not wearing your mask properly, but they never do. Every single workout there is at least a half a dozen people who won’t wear them at all, and the staff walks by and says nothing. It’s clear they don’t care about the well-being of their members as they told me if I didn’t feel safe, I could leave. If masks weren’t a thing, I would remain a member- but they refuse to uphold a policy they made and keep people safe.

Let me start by saying that when we walked in, we had made up our minds to join already, the tour was just for fun. However, we ended up leaving after being treated so poorly by the person giving the tour that any desire to join the gym, despite the amenities, had completely evaporated. We were treated extremely rudely by the person giving the tour. It was noticeably impatient, rushed - when we asked to look at certain things, he rolled his eyes and sat down to look at his phone, we had to check it out alone. He rolled his eyes again when a staff came to ask a question, as a way to indicate that he was busy with us. It couldnt be any clearer that he did not want to be helping us.I believe I was discriminated against due to my appearance and treated vindictively based on a prior phone call where I asked the overly-frequent marketing calls from this gym to stop and he mentioned he had been the one that had placed those calls and remembered me.Amenities might be amazing, but the level of hostility and disdain by this staff person in particular made it feel too unwelcoming and unsafe to consider making this my gym.Chose another gym where the staff were kind, welcoming and well trained.

This is a good gym dont get me wrong, but I pay the top tier and go here just for swimming outside in the summer and inside in the winter, today some teenage girl lifeguard with a busted leg in a brace stopped me in the middle of my swim and demanded I get out so she can do a swim test with a kid. Cool, who am I to stop that, I obviously am going to be guilted into leaving my lane and im not going to argue I want kids to learn to swim, but Im a paying customer, and there are TONS of lanes open inside for a test like that. So I went inside to one of the many open lanes, and finished my workout. just very unprofessional. I will revise back to 5 stars once they fix their lifeguards.

Do not empower these people, they are unethical.Read Meisha Krutars review as well, she stated they were anti military, and as a current Army officer and minority, I can confirm that to be true. They canceled my membership after I complained to their corporate office of an employee harassing me. I had only attended twice. And both times the employee approached me, once in uniform, and once out of uniform, trying to start a fight. I am a veteran of the us Army, and an intelligence officer, and I came to workout not fight with the staff. The onsite management literally deleted my account after I reported the harassment to corporate. An employee who witnessed the inappropriate behavior referred me to talk to Dan Opfer the General Manager and stated he would fix the problem. But Dan just deleted my account. A general manager who admitted his staff was wrong but would not reinstate my membership. My advice is to take your business somewhere else if you are a minority or a military member. The manager supported the young guy harassing and provoking me to try to fight him. I have never experienced such blatant lying and manipulation from a business. These guys do not provide premium customer service, I was literally a new member and was treated as if I was trash. At least thats what the harassing staff member stated, first conversation he started told me take your trash (profanity) conversation outside, while I was talking to a friend of mine he interrupted the conversation to basically try to act like an alpha male by being disrespectful, demeaning and condescending. I suppose because I was some black guy in the gym he thought he could say whatever he wanted to me without knowing who I was. And in the end the management supported him after I provided all the facts and they deleted my account prior to speaking to me. Again I reported the issue to corporate, and they aplogized and told me to call back if I had another issue. Then my account got randomly deleted. I suppose the inside general manager didnt like the fact that I complained to corporate about his performance. So he called me back after I sent a letter to corporate to tell me he was watching me on camera in the parking lot, and thought I was being suspicious. I honestly believe he just has no respect for veterans and is biased torwards minorities. I realized this today April 13 2021 that even the manager was trying to lie to cover his employees actions and dismiss the provoking harassment. I stated his employee approached me out of uniform saying that he wanted to squash beef, and that we could take it outside, despite me telling him I am not interested in fighting an employee, he was just upset because I said he is unprofessional. I never approached him, he approached me trying to pull me into an argument. I told him he works here and hes unprofessional and he got upset because I called him out for not manning up and doing his job providing customer service because people pay good money to attend this gym. The employees are all covering each other and the harassment and painting a picture so management doesnt look bad in front of the corporate office. The corporate office has responded and refused to acknowledge anything I and my witness Sam Stellar stated about their employees aggressive and harassing behavior. This business has a member services department so that they can waive responsibility from the management and cover up situations from higher management in corporate. They solved the problem by deleting the accusers membership instead of reprimanding the employee for approaching me asking to fight him outside of the property. I literally did not know the guy not did I even want to talk to him, he was harassing and antagonizing me.

Equipment is fine, but poorly maintained and some of the cardio machines are fairly outdated. Members (and even a few trainers!) frequently disobey the mask mandate. Men’s locker room smells disgusting and is poorly ventilated. Pool and hot tub are fine. Employees are hit and miss, the younger ones tend to be too absorbed in using their phones or talking to their friends to greet you or answer your questions, while the senior most employees are very polite and professional. A good deal of unsupervised teenagers here use equipment in ways that are, quite frankly, dangerous and damaging. The only reasons I am a member here are: the location is extremely convenient for me, there is an excellent mountain view from the pool and some cardio machines, and there is a very large parking lot that never feels too crowded. Would not recommend if you do not live close by. Otherwise not absolutely terrible.

I am extremely glad I joined Life Time. Especially during a pandemic. This facility is extremely clean and the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure the facility stays clean 24/7 so that they can continue to stay open. Plenty of cardio equipment to go around and more than enough space for squats (10 racks!) Plus all your free weight needs. Tons of machines too so you know youre going to get a good burn every time you walk in. Tons of classes to join. We live in the tech center, but this club has TONS more to offer than Colorado Athletic Club or even Greenwood Athletic Club. Its cheaper too! Cant beat that. We have been lifetime members on and off for about 16 years. We have been members at the centennial location for about 3 years now. When we first joined, the staff was super nice, friendly and professional. Things changed in the past 2 years. One time, I was resting in the private changing area in the women’s locker room after being in the sauna when this new employee opened the door abruptly without any sort of warning. She then told me aggressively with a nasty tone that I had to leave and wasn’t allowed to relax in there! There was nothing professional at all about her attitude and the way she addressed me. Prior to that incident, whenever I ran into her in the womens locker room, and for NO apparent reason, she would stare me down and look at me in an insistant and inappropriate manner.I have never been treated this way ever at this location or any of the other lifetime locations before . Truly this employee is one of a kind in a really bad way, unprofessional, discriminatory to say the least.I reported her to the management the next day. Strangely enough, they didn’t do anything about it. Instead they took the employee’s side. the management I guess was ok with their employee barging in on a guest, half naked, in the private changing area, and they didn’t seem to mind the threatening tone she used with me. Things are getting weird at this club...this was a serious invasion of a guest’s privacy and attempt to bully and intimidate.Recently, I reported again the employee to someone else at the club. They said that they would have a conversation with her. Apparently she was talked to because my son told me that C tried to target him tonight, two black kids and my son’s friend who is Asian on the grounds that they weren’t wearing their masks properly. My son pointed out that there was a white kid whose mask was down below his chin, but she didn’t bother talking to him or any of the other white kids. Not surprising at all. Open and blatant discrimination!

An absolutely awful experience in every way. From the moment of first starting a membership with pushy car salesman like tactics to the run around attempting to just put my membership on hold, every time I have had to deal with an employee has been a headache. I only joined specifically due to this place being open 24 hours because of my schedule, they reopened but with restricted hours effectively making them useless to me but have the audacity to still charge full membership fees. Attempting to log in to my account on their website tells me I dont have an account, attempting to create one tells me one was already made. Calling in gets the run around, the best I have made progress is being told I need to bring in a WRITTEN STATEMENT saying I want to put my membership on hold, when the entire problem is I cannot come in due to my schedule, and even then they still charge for a month. Even when they were open full time it was still a crapshoot whether I could get in or not at night because there would be one employee on the clock who seemed to never be interested in watching the doors to open them for people. The building is almost always packed to the point of being difficult finding open equipment to use outside of very late at night, the management seems to be completely absent, and the employees seem to have an active disinterest in you. Avoid this place, please, for your own sanity, stay away. They only want your money, and once they have it they have zero interest in you.

Cooper was amazing in answering all the questions my husband and I had. The gym is super clean and we are thankful when we moved here to find out there was another Lifetime Fitness here. Everyone seems very friendly there and we love all the classes they offer- this place is beautiful and we love how clean the equipment is. Thank you for Cooper for all your help and getting us plugged in to LTF again! :)

Received a gift certificate from my sister for Christmas to Sanctuary Day Spa and Wellness at Cherry Creek Athletic Club for $50 that they are refusing to honor because THEY CANNOT FIND THEIR PAPERWORK! I have the certificate with the card they sent that says Merry Christmas. They admit the certificate series is within the legal time frame, 60 months; also admit that there is no record of me using it, but because THEIR record keeping is a mess, they are refusing to honor it. This place has always been very disorganized but this is a new low. They are now under new management Life Time Athletic and hoping they will do the right thing.

Update: I got a response from the club quickly and I came in today and it is fixed. Thank you.I joined this club with my daughter to use the climbing wall as it is close to our house. We love the climbing instructors and have had a good time. My one complaint is the auto belay on east side is always broken and the club will not fix it. It is such an easy fix and with as much as we spend it seems like it should be done by now. It has been broken since we joined 3 months ago.

Great gym. Clean. Friendly staff. Lots of equipment and options. My kids love the kids spaced. FYI Ive actually cancelled my membership because its 20+ minutes away from my house... That was a seamless process. Definitely recommend.

We agreed to a 1 week trial for tennis classes which of course required an agreement, with promises of easy cancellations and no commitments if we were not satisfied. We attended one class then decided it was not for us. So we contacted our account rep and told him we were not interested in the program and to cancel our membership. Suddenly the constant contact ended, he would not respond to our emails, and they continue to charge us, whereby I continue to dispute the charges, and am working on a BBB complaint to block further charges. The facility is fine, but be prepared for a fight if you find you dont want to continue the trial. Its not as easy to end as they make it sound.

By far one of the best gyms in the Denver area. It has everything to offer its members! The amenities are fantastic no matter what your workouts look like. The club is clean, the staff is always friendly and pleasant. The personal training staff is extremely knowledgable and eager to answer questions. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!

This place is great! Our family of five is enjoying the services and features of the club. Everything from knowledgeable personal trainers, to great group classes, to a super clean locker room are all wonderful. Special props to Josh who is a master at training teenage athletes. We are glad we joined and recommend it to anyone interested in a clean, new, and huge fitness club.

Been a member for years. I have also been a member of 24 hour fitness. Lifetime raises the bar in a big way. Super easy to deal with. I take indoor cycling classes, (spin) and it is super easy to reserve a bike with their on line app. I recall reserving a bike at 24 hour was not easy. Plus Lifetime has all new bikes, and the best coaches. Try and check out Kim R. Total rockstar!Very clean, full service gym, if they dont have it, you dont need it!

Lifetime Fitness is the Best! I have been a member since 2011. The cleanliness, friendliness of staff, outstanding trainers, updated equipment, availability of equipment, opportunities to join in challenges, on-line education, opportunities for nutrition coaching, great indoor/outdoor pools and all the classes available make this the best place to take care of yourself! Most importantly - my trainer (Kristin D) gives me all kinds of tips to better my workouts and myself; nutrition suggestions, suggested workout plans for travel and at home if I cant get in to the gym and great encouragement. Thanks for everything!

I would highly recommend Tommy Karrer, personal trainer, to everyone. He has worked with my wife and I and he really helped us to achieve certain specific goals (I am trying to get ready for ankle surgery). He is really enthusiastic and encouraging even when my older model body says it cant go on. Really a wonderful and talented trainer.

Great gym. I joined in September 2017 and was a member for a few months. I was able to cancel my membership with no fee, I just had to go in and sign a form. I cancelled because I didnt use it as often as I wanted to. I loved the Cycling classes though! When I went to work-out on my own, I would go around 8 p.m. and was very pleased because it wasnt very busy at that time. I used the child care for my infant and it seemed like he was happy there and it was clean and in control. The child care workers didnt appear to LOVE kids like it was in their blood, but they were doing the job. We paid $140 per month which included 2 adults and 1 baby (included child care).

The Lifetime in Centennial has upgraded their equipment. Took a while and so I have updated this review. At centennial, they finally got rid of the treadmill with the box in the center, that could cause you to bust your knuckles on them or else you have to alter your running motion. Really nice to see the higher quality treadmills theyve gone to.The rowing machines also have been upgraded along with the bicycles in the spinning class. The usual amenities of fresh towels and fresh cafe food are nice to have versus bring your own towels at other gyms I have gone to.

They said there was a week trial period & I wasn’t impressed because the hot tub wasn’t open once, & the sauna was also never working. So within 4 days I had to let them know that I wasn’t going to do a membership, but the representative continued to try and make deals and stall until the 7 days had passed and then told me they couldn’t do a refund at that point. This place is an actual scam fronted by some nice granite benches. Now they won’t email me back presumably to try and force another monthly payment. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I fought joining Lifetime Fitness for sometime, being happy with my little rec center and other local gym membership. Circumstances led me to finally make the jump and am I glad I did! The equipment is state of the art, the place is clean, organized, staff helpful and friendly. Gym atmospheres can be intimidating enough, having a friendly staff is key. I also love the wide variety of group classes and especially the Team Classes I take with Jess Kidd, shes incredible! Her workouts are intense, fun and push me beyond what I would do on my own. Jess knowledge and expertise are on point!

I really like the facilities and the majority of the staff. They keep the place clean and quickly repair any malfunctioning equipment. However, they seem to have been on a big push lately for personal training. I would have given them 5 stars if not for this. They now station trainers at the front doors, the top of the stairs when you go onto the exercise floor, and just about anywhere else that they can to be able to put the pressure on you.I understand that this is the biggest area of opportunity to generate additional revenue for a gym, but its really starting to have a negative impact on the experience.

I joined Lifetime Fitness when it opened because I loved the family atmosphere. There are so many options for the whole family! The philosophy at Lifetime Fitness is wellness as a whole individual. It takes into consideration your life outside of the gym which is refreshing. They include services such as a spa, chiropractor, nutrition services, and even dining.

This is my home away from home!! The staff is top-notch and most of the trainers are super friendly and willing to help! I travel quite a bit for work and would love to see my home-base step it up a notch and offer some of the things the other gyms around the country have to offer...Mouth Wash, Cotton swabs, Razors and shaving cream. Those are some of the things that are offered at the Scottsdale gym. I know, its Scottsdale BUT Highlands Ranch is pretty uppity as well. What say you Mr. GM? I love your club BUT...Can you make it better? Just so youre aware, I gave yall 4 stars because your club is nice and clean (Unlike the Parker, CO location). Id like to make your club a 5!! Help me help you :)

For what you get it is well spent money. Hot tubs, 3 pools, tons of classes, yoga, spinning and an overall healthy environment to press towards your goals with others. Today, I was doing a class and it was kicking my butt but I thought to myself, wow, this is a great investment. Yeah it is more than other gyms but you get WAY more......Enjoy. Staff is super friendly also. Plus tennis.....

Went to take a tour of the facility. I was very excited about having classes and childcare included. They want you to sign an agreement that you won’t sue them, even in instances of their own negligence. If you violate that agreement you are responsible for all related charges and attorney’s fees. I would never trust my kids to a company like this. I’m assuming most people don’t read before they sign.

I love this gym! It is very clean and everyone is very friendly. I had no problem putting my membership on hold while I took a medical leave. They have a ton of equipment so there is always something available. I have 3 small kids and love the child center, though there should be more infant reservation times... especially in the afternoons when there are not many other kids. I love the pools, spa, and classes! I agree that the personal trainers are too expensive to even consider... I have done training at other gyms but wont here due to the price...but there are tons of other cheaper weight loss programs to choose from. The swim lessons- the turn over rate of the staff scared my child. He had 3 different teachers, with substitutes regularly....so we had to quit.Overall I love it!

While there it was great but my husband moved in February and went in prior to his move and cancelled his membership. 4 months and multiple phone calls and messages later they are still charging us every month. We have called repeatedly and are always told to leave a message and the membership person will get back to you which never happens! Extremely frustrating so am now restoring to social media to try and get a responseUpdate: finally got ahold of someone and after an initial “we don’t have any record that you came in to cancel” conversation and a VERY firm insistence on my part that that was their problem they finally agreed to reimburse us the correct amount. So, if you go, enjoy yourself, if you cancel, keep a record on your end to prove it.

On the plus side, outdoor pool with outdoor cafe always good t ol relax after a workout.
