The selection of hot foods was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and shrimp...i would recommend trying different methods to fry the chicken. Its terribly dry on the inside. Flavor was great though. The other thing is there needs to be more of a dessert variety. A fresher better cheese cake and more decadent flavors. Overall I would recommend this location!

So.. I have to say that I have never walked into a Golden Corral at 1.5 hours before closing and found an employee, cleaning the salad bar until now. I was amazed! As usual for GC, this place gets mixed reviews... but the average is 4.0 and I saw that the owners respond to a lot of the reviews. That was the thing that drove me to come in, as they seemed to care. And they really do.I spent time talking to one of the owners this evening and she was pleasant and really seems to care about her customers and her restaurant. Also, need to give a shout out to Savanah, the server. She was friendly and attentive and a pleasure to have serving me. And thanks to Carlos for the deliciously grilled steak (no picture, cause I was hungry and it was good, even at nearly closing time). Thank you for one of the better GC experiences that I have had.Oh... one other thing... they had Texas Pete hot sauce. Yay! Most GCs, that I have been to, have Tabasco... which is not my fave.

Worst experience ever! So this by far was the dirtiest place I have been too. The staff that we interacted with were inattentive, rude, and had an overall dont care kind of attitude. My wife and I paid over thirty dollars for dinner and over half the food line was empty bins, and the entire line was filthy. But of course you cant see this until AFTER you pay. I asked a server on the line if more food was coming up because the little bit of food that WAS there was all dried up. I got we are busy as a response and the person walked away. So the rude behavior goes on and on but what I want to focus on is the food and cleanliness of the restaurant which was severely lacking. Save yourself 30 dollars and avoid this place like the plague. It is the Golden Corral on San Mateo and academy in Albuquerque NM. The picture of the receipt shows the store number and exact address. PLEASE avoid this place it is by far the worst in Albuquerque!!!! Please look at pics closely you will see what I mean.

Came in for a solo dinner and to review the 3rd Denver metro location. Kind of a booger to get on the property from east bound Arapahoe, but it can be done.Tried to apply the Protein First rule, but there was NOBODY in the carving station area! Fortunately, this is a newer store, similar to the one off Santa Fe. I walked the trays and found.... green bean casserole. WIN! Had that then saw the liver and onions. Took some.... WIN! Good and tender and tasty. Mind you, I have had fresh (as in removed from the cow at slaughter, thrown in a hot cast iron pan with fresh cut onions fresh) liver and onions and these, being in a buffet line steam tray, brought a smile to my face. Well done, GC, just for that.Finishing up with the sirloin (medium rare), a sliver slice of ham, and the BBQ beans. Steak is good, s little bit tough but still good... The ham looked a bit dry but combined with the beans, it perked right up. Mayyybe room for a little more liver and onions???😅 Nope, small slice of blueberry pie and a smaller slice of carrot cake 😋😋😁The store was good and clean, the servers all friendly, and the service good, exception being the temporarily abandoned carving area. Points docked for that. Empty and/or unlabeled steam trays, points off. Blueberry pie was rock hard. Points off. Just like the Sheridan store, so easy to bring up to a 5, just takes a little polishing. Worth the 18-something? I think so, for a steak dinner with gobs and gobs of fixins, you can pay a LOT more, get a LOT less, and it can taste like poo. Ill be back.

The cafeteria style would be much more efficient and more in line with why people come to a buffet. It is not the food. There are four reasons people choose a buffet:1. Low price2. Ability to have “all you can eat “. Actually this is less important than you may think.3. The ability to customize a wide variety of food that typically wouldn’t be put together. This is much more important than you may think.4. The ability to eat quickly. This is totally lost in a server serves what you order paradigm.If you want to go out and order off a menu and be brought food by a waiter, your first choice would not be Golden Corral.I hope management realizes this and changes back to cafeteria style, and then I’d give a five star review.

No, its not entirely the same as it was before they closed due to COVID-19, but it was a treat to eat again at someplace familiar from the old normal. For only their second day in switching to more of a cafeteria experience from the ordering off of a menu experience that they tried in their first few days open, they had a pretty good system down. The entry way has changed but you still pay before you are seated. Your server brings you your drinks, rolls, and whatever you order off the limited salad and dessert menus. While the selection is more limited as of yet, the cafeteria serving line at the main hot food stations allows for choosing which entrees and sides you want to eat. My elderly father and I both enjoyed our meal and will be glad to return again.

From the start I was ignored like I wasnt a paying customer. I got one small plate of food and sat down and all the sudden there was sheriffs and swat vehicles in the parking lot were a crowd of people gathered. My wife did not get to eat, our kids were scared and did not get to enjoy their meals. I didnt get a full meal and the manager only gave us one full refund out of 5. I would not recommend this place for a family meal or kids at all.

Visiting from out of state. Despite the COVID19 pandemic we had a amazing experience. Mask require when up and moving which is appreciated. Buffet set up with dividers, entrance/exit set up, and they make your plate. Salad, soup and dessert is brought out to you by the server. Our server Brianna was absolutely AWESOME!! Our 4 kids put her to work. Bless her heart. The hostess Patty (I believe that was her name) was sweet as can be and very patient with our children. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. Shout out to the staff working their tails off keeping everything sanitized and everyone happy.

I gave 3 stars because the customer service was above and beyond excellent, but the food wasnt that great. Someone needs to teach the guy on the grill how to prepare a steak. And the short ribs sucked.Wait I can say what was good. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken. By the time I went up all the white meat was gone. The Brussels sprouts were awesome, and the meatloaf and sweet potato casserole were spot on. The onion rings were crunchy just the way I like them. And last the soft serve ice cream did put a smile on my face.

Golden Corral Buffet & Grill is a great place. Good quality and delicious food with a great selection. Some meats are prepared to order. Restaurant is clean and service is very good. Dinner is a little pricey but worth it given the wide variety of dishes. There is something for everyone.

Honestly the experience was not great. Yes we came at 2 in the afternoon. But we were there for an hour and some of the food was never changed or refilled. They were out of alot of main dishes as well. I pretty much just ate side dishes and those were cold.The waitress was sweet but I asked for a water several times and never did get it.

Homeboy Ivan on the grill cooked up a mean steak and as he sliced the prime rib my mouth watered! The fried shrimp was on point and my daughter loved the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. But ultimately Harlan gave us the best kind of service I didnt expect. Ive never felt so cared for by any buffet staff until this day and Ill drive half hour and pass 3 golden corrals just to have that same kind of treatment that Harlan served us with. Thanks for the awesome experience!

Havent been here in a while but needless to say we got full if I can say anything LOL. I recommend you all go on a Sunday because thats their most popular day and busiest day of the week so things are fresher and the options are rotated more frequently. We also went towards the end of the night so Ill give them a little credit for that Christi mac and cheese and the low quality steak. The cake of the month or whatever contest they have at the time its pretty cool to get a homemade cake that tastes like Grandma cake on Thanksgiving!

Great fresh selection of food. Friendly, fast service. Restaurant was clean and our plates were cleared quickly. I really enjoyed the ribs, sausage, fresh fish, and different vegetable selections. I really like the self serve drink area as you enter as well.

Went today to Golden Corral to eat because the one in Aurora is closed for remodeling. I am so happy I came here! I sat with Victor and his service was great. He’s a huge social butterfly and not only took care of our table but had a great conversation with us!

Less then 30 minutes after eating was running to the bathroom with stomach pain. Didn’t even get what we asked for. asked for BBQ the server said they didn’t have any. Asked the cook who made my steak and they had an abundance of bbq sauce. terrible service. They weren’t ready for the pandemic. Not even close to being able to compete with other dine-in options. This is the first time Ive been to a Golden Corral where the food and service were both phenomenal! Everything tasted delicious, fresh and flavorful! The workers were all so kind and had a smile on their face!

It really was kind of a joke. If this is how youre going to reopen then youre not ready to reopen. Have you ever gone to a potluck like at a church or at work and after everybodys eating just before people put all the food away gone up to where all the food is laid out and tried to find something to eat? that was the experience at Golden corral today. when youre at your works potluck or at church you find something that looks halfway edible and dont complain too much about it because its free. But if youre going to charge full dinner primetime buffet prices then there needs to be some respectable choices and the food needs to look like it hasnt been sitting on a warmer for an hour and a half.

Great Golden Corral location! Ive been to other locations and this one was the cleanest and quickest. Our waitress kept her entire section very clean throughout our meal even though she was also super quick to get drink refills and take away plates. All the food was just the right temperature and constantly changed out before running too low. The people here are really on their A-game and made a great experience for a date night, thanks!

If youve been to a country buffet you know what to expect here. Standard food at standard quality. The establishment and service was better than dry deviled eggs or spongy fried okra. If youre just looking for pizza, fried chicken, and dessert you should be fine here.

Decent price for a buffet breakfast. Food was obviously made quickly and for quantity over quality but there are a few gems among the rough there. Enjoyed a nice hour breakfast and the staff were all greatly accommodating even for a non-regular.

This place has the best steak you can get from any restaurants in this price range, its tender, the seasoning is mild, and if you dont like how its cooked, get a different piece.My kids cant get enough of GC either, they always want to come here.4/5 stars because the food is good, not amazing, and they seem to be a bit under-staffed. Food was average at best. Cashier made a mistake ringing order which was supposed to be 2 adults and 3 children. We were unaware of the mistake until the server came by and confirmed we paid for 3 children and one adult however we got charged for 2 adult drinks. I understand how mistakes are made and there will always be human error, however I have never been asked by a manager to pay the additional after the fact. We happily paid for our meals, however I think leadership 101 should be a priority for Golden Corral. As a leader we accept our mistakes or the mistakes of those who work for us. Appropriate approach from the manager would have been... I am sorry for the mistake that was made by a cashier. Excellent place for fresh food. We go there with our family every Sunday morning for a breakfast, love it. Food fresh and staff is very nice. And a biggest plus is that we have never seen a lot of people there. Its always empty, and you dont have to wait for your food. Awesome place to eat with your family.

Golden Corral is my families go to place for delicious food. I have 6 kids and Grandchildren and the prices are family friendly. My family loves to get together and have a great family meal at home and when we go here its just like home. There is a variety of tasty foods and the servers are always courteous and friendly. My grandson loves the strawberries with chocolate. My favorite is the butterfly shrimp and fish.

Really fun to eat here. Dont expect the best of everything. Their salad is always cold and crisp. Chicken is good. The desert bar is good. The service is good also.

We went on Thanksgiving and the food was absolutely delicious which was expected this was our first year however eating out on a holiday and it was great!!! Even though it was packed and busy the line moved pretty swift and once you got in you were greeted by friendly staff the lady who seated us was very welcoming and they had food replaced quickly so you never missed out on a we dish couldnt have been more satisfied 😊😊😊

Great place for eating. It has all kinds of options. From fresh salad to tacos to grilled meat and fishes. Well I dont have to mention that Pizza and other many variety of side dices are available too. Also price for everything is so decent that you will feel really happy after eating here. The food was good and fresh. Anything fried was crispy not old. Rice wasnt hard this is the best one Ive been to. The meat wasnt dried out. The people kept your tables clean and drinks filled. It was a very good visit probably wont go to the other one Ive been to anymore.

Golden Corral Buffet the best buffet ever. I believe. The large variety of different sections are wonderful. Great for what ever meal you are after. I personally like the dinner time. The sweet beef tips and rice is the bomb. Most importantly you should arrive early or the line is long and tables are hard to find for families larger than 4. Very popular place for after Sundays church also.

We were very satisfied we celebrated my nieces birthday at Golden Corral today. The food was fresh hot and very tasty, the manager was great she not only recognized my nieces birthday over the PA system she came over to our table and she sung a beautiful happy birthday as well we were very impressed with the food and service. Love being able to choose what we all want to eat. Would love to see gluten free options notated, and maybe more options along those lines. Would be great if nutritional info was listed nearby the item, as so many of us are on special diets lately. I also would love to see coupons or special for non senior adults or my older kids, as taking my whole family runs us about $60, each time. We would love to come more often so maybe a loyalty program where you get meals free with a certain amount of purchases.

The service was Vegas 5 Star resort. Arapahoe Road and Parker in Centennial, CO. Very clean! The people there are amazing. Felt like family. Food yummo! Steak better than the fancy steak restaurants! All the fresh salad, vegetables and buttered buns you want. You dont pay extra for extras. Its well worth the price and the pleasant employees. We visited on Thanksgiving Day they opened at 10:00 the employees worked hard and I appreciate and thank them for coming in on a holiday. Great place.

Steak is always a gamble.... But after all it isnt a steak house per say... pretty tough.😕The chicken that is tasty most of the time, was SO dry, couldnt eat it. Well be back, cuz on the whole the food is good. I do think that the prices are kinda high for those of us dont come to pig out. Seniors should get a better deal as we really Cant eat that much, but we enjoy the variety.

It was busy when we got there but was still pretty clean. Our server was fantastic, kept our drinks filled and our table clear. Food was good. Nothing dry or looked like it hadnt been switched out in a while. Overall it was a decent location.

The overall experience of the restaurant was great. The restaurant was clean and food was stocked. Their employees were awesome also. We had dinner in the private banquet room and our server was exceptional. She was prompt, kind, and very respectful. They accommodated our large group very well. The food was also good. This was a great experience for what you pay for. Place was very clean and the food presentation was nice as well. There was a good amount of selection and the quality seemed good for the money. Only downside was no worker seemed eager to work the carving station. Its also weird how its ambiguous if you should tip or not.

This location can get a little busy but its always nice and clean and we usually get very kind and attentive waiters. They used to have delicious scalloped potatoes that they removed but the selection is still great. The food is fresh and they rotate it often enough so that youre not stuck eating cold or stale food. Weve definitely visited a few times and plan to keep coming back!

Generally speaking, you cant go wrong with eating at Golden Corral. If you were raised in the midwest, you will know exactly what I mean. Just seemed overpriced for good bar and drinks, food choices seemed old, not stirred or changed out often, could never get anyone to carving station for meats, needed more staff for cleaning and upkeep of bar, service was great, waiter was excellent, attentive, and engaging. They are so unorganized. Kids ask for cheese pizza and got pepperoni after a 50 minutes of waiting. Never got our food. No organization. The servers running around with no direction and saying they dont care. Seating people too close. Ordered powerade and got mello yellow. Told that is their version of powerade. Smh....if you dont have powerade, just say you dont have powerade. Had to get a refund because of all the chaos. Horrible experience

We had a funeral on Friday, February 9th for my wifes 106 yr old Grandmother. The family gathered here after the reception in the banquet room. Curtis took VERY good care of us. He was very attentive to our every need. And the food was excellent as always. Thank you very much for that, Curtis.

I tend to enjoy eating at buffets. You get to take a little or a lot if so inclined. On a recent trip to Colorado we ate here for lunch 2 days in a row. This one is well maintained and has plenty to choose from. I found it to be keep clean, which can be tough at busy times. The value for the food offering is very good.

They have a wide and decent food selection. The food was hot and fresh. The staff was overwhelmed due to the amount of people eating on Xmas day. I had to inspect quite a few plates to get one without old food pasted on. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. It is a buffet! It is Golden Corral, and you should by now know what to expect.

Hey its a buffet. We occasionally eat breakfast out when we have a busy working day ahead of us and thus we often hit the Corral. The food is good and choices about - some good, some not so good (you know what I mean). Eating at Golden Corral takes me back to being a kid when I thought a buffet was the best restaurant choice ever!

I just recently took a party of 8 there on Thursday 5/9/19 to celebrate my nephews 9 B-day. We made it there a little after 8pm from Boondocks which we enjoyed. We were greeted nicely and Harlan.... Did an Amazing job taking care of us. But the food not so good and I would just like to add that when ANYONE is cleaning with gloves ..... Is it ok for them to then come and handle any type of food(cotton candy/ice cream) with those same gloves and not so pleasant attitude??? We all were feeling sick from the food I found out that next day from everyone so I decided to call with my concerns and the person I spoke to remembered us from the night before and was very sweet and professional and I was told a higher up would contact me which still hasnt happened and Im fine with that because the best solution at this point would be to go elsewhere with my family to dine next to avoid any issues.

I dont have a single complement for this Golden Corral. We went to dinner at 6:30pm. Most of the dishes were warm at best. The bourbon chicken and fajita chicken were cold and dry. The servers failed to clear finished plates until we were ready to leave. The bathrooms were dirty. The general cleanliness of the main room including the food area was also not clean. We will not return.

Everything about the visit was amazing! My organization had a Thanksgiving lunch for our disabled clients there. Charlie the manager and our server Sue were both wonderful. They put us in the party room and accommodated us to our needs. They were welcoming and very nice. I would bring our group back again! Thanks for everything!!

Over many visits, servers at the grill have always been impatient and rude. Decided not to pay money to be made to feel like I was begging for food. A friend took me there for a birthday yesterday. First guy at the grill cut a piece of meat and asked me if it was done enough. When I told him I thought it was too red, he gruffly threw the meat on the grill and walked away. He then threw it onto my plate so hard it pushed my other food off my plate. He did not apologize. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Everything was great, good food. The only thing that I didnt like was that the cook that was on the grill wasnt cooking the steaks how me and my family ordered them.... we know there is a lot of people waiting for steak, he could of just told us to wait. The meat steaks were raw.
