Brandon has always gone above and beyond for me. It seems as though I dont even have to ask him to help me with any maintenance issues with the apartment, because hes already there fixing it . One time he came over and while fixing our sing also fixed our washer, which i didnt know it was broken but I knew it was slower than usual .Brandon today found my three step ladder in the parking lot. I was in a rush to my next job this morning and forgot to put it in my trunk and drove off. Then, when I realized it was gone, I was just about to look for Brandon but he was already around the corner and I told him I needed it for work. He then offered me his own extra ladder from home ! Wow, what an amazing handy man! Thank you Brandon!

I live in building E and there are roaches everywhere. I keep a very clean home and there is no reason there should ever be roaches in or around my apartment. There are so many that I dont even feel comfortable sleeping in my own room. I have been laying traps and spraying since I moved in two months ago and it doesnt seem to have an affect. I contacted management and still nobody has been by to spray or resolve the issue. This is disgusting. Fair warning everyone, building E is gross. If it continues I will be forced to break my lease. This is unacceptable.

Ive had an absolutely horrible experience. Application was denied which is fine but in the contract it stated I would receive a refund if I get declined. It has been a month and a half since then. They keep giving me checks that are unable to be cashed. Im desperate for the return of my money and they are just playing around. Who knows when I will get my money back. Im to the point where I am considering taking legal action against Copper Terrace so In order to retrieve my money. This is absolutely insane that they would put someone through so much. You better know for a fact you will be approved before you apply here because if you get declined who knows if you will get your money back, even though it is promised in the contract.

What they have posted as the rent amount is false. They charge about $100 more in mandatory fees like valet trash service that you can’t not cancel. There is not enough parking for tenants, if you leave around 7pm and come back at 7:05 you will have to park across the street. No matter what the conditions of the apartment is left they are taking half of your deposit. The only thing they could tell me they replaced was a stove drip pan, They have you fill out a form of the conditions when you move in but they never address things you listed. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else

I’ve lived here for almost 4 years now. This complex has changed office staff a significant amount of times since I’ve been here. I had roaches coming into my apartment from other units and I had spoken to many different staff members about it. The one person who was consistent and listened was Brandon our maintenance supervisor. He was very attentive and he honestly cared about how frustrated I was. Brandon and Tim our maintenance team are amazing and have always fixed everything promptly and are always very nice and respectful. Recently Laura and Isaiah took over as permanent office staff. They have made all the difference in the world. It’s not often that I change my 1 star rating to a 5 star rating, though they are exactly what this property needs. My family and I are moving only because we need more room, as a house will be better suited for us. I just wish Laura and Isaiah had been here the whole time, as they’ve been incredibly helpful and receptive to feedback and administrative issues. Everyone that I have mentioned in this review deserves credit for their hard work. This property was a hot mess not that long ago. Hopefully management is able to hold onto this really great team so that Copper Terrace can continue to thrive.

New management is LIGHT YEARS better than the last group they had in here! Huge improvement in responsiveness, cleanliness and overall vibes. Could definitely have a better workout room, would love to have a bench/ squat rack in there. Also, maintaining the dog poop bags better would improve the grounds cleanliness as far as dog poop goes. Overall, nice place to live, though there is very limited parking.

Some of these reviews have to be fake. My A/C broke over the summer for 3 weeks and it was the hottest time of the year. They made a very poor attempt to fix it. Something like this should be dealt with immediately. I was also told I would be getting a few hundred dollars taken off the next months rent for the inconvenience. Never saw a dime of that. Now they want money for little pin holes in the wall. Lived there 5 years and went through 4 property management companies and they were all lazy and told you what you want to hear. Good luck!!!

I work in property management and can tell you from experience it is NOT easy to come in and fix a property, but it looks like Cardinal is doing just that. When we moved in almost two months ago it was exactly when Cardinal was taking over and there were several issues that the previous company left them with. Patricia (the new prop manager) and the leasing staff have always been kind to me when I come in to address concerns or ask for updates. Patrick even offers to help me carry my packages if they’re heavy. He is very customer service oriented. Although it is taking longer than expected to handle some of the issues, it’s obvious they are doing what they can to take care of the big stuff quicker, which is awesome. It appears Cardinal is willing to spend money on necessary repairs when the previous company was not, so I can understand that they probably have a bit of catching up to do. Brandon who is the lead maintenance is very friendly and knowledgeable and has good attention to detail. Also, their snow/ice removal is on point and much appreciated. I look forward to the rest of our stay here.Tldr: this community wasn’t that good under previous management, but Cardinal came in and is making changes for the better

I was a 5 year tenant (just moved out today) at Copper Terrace and can tell you that we loved it. Weve been through 3 management companies in the time and each has responded to us with kindness and respect when treated with kindness and respect. Maintenance has never been a problem. Every request was met within a reasonable time frame. The grounds are lovely and the pool was great, though it could be heated more often. :) The only reason that I docked them a star was because of the Valet trash charge. I have two children so I already had valet trash. Lol. We loved it and wished we could stay, but our needs grew beyond what the Terrace could accommodate. Know that it is turning to absolutely no smoking anywhere. As a family of 4 we appreciated that. Thanks Copper Terrace!

Since the day I moved in I have dealt with their assistant property manager, Max, and his boss, Bobbi. I am a new tenant and have a long list of complaints even though I have only lived here since Mid June 2017. I am over the money, stress, and time this management has taken from my life. I feel if I can warn at least ONE future tenant with this review, I am getting my monies worth. I think their management forgets this is my home and therefore I deserve a level of respect and stress free living. The time and energy I have spent sending emails back and forth and going to their leasing office to address issues is too much. The apartments are basic and overpriced. They are not luxury. You can get a much nicer unit just checking out the places on Dry Creek, for the same price! You will also have something that I consider priceless, peace and respect in your own home!

Resided here for about a year. Never had an issue. Complex is on the smaller side with a small pool area, not great to really hang out. Area is fairly quiet, unless your complex is on the Peakview side, then you will hear some traffic as it gets pretty busy in the morning. Had only encountered the manager once... mainly interacted with Max (Asst Manager) - which was always a pleasant encounter. One thing I didnt particularly like is their $25/mo trash valet service, as I dont think it is necessary and a bit of a waste of money. I believe that there should be an option for residents to opt out as there are quite a bit of dumpsters close to the buildings. The 3x I did leave my trash bin out, trash was never picked up, so that got annoying. Ended up paying for a service that was of no use.

Very rude and disgusting management! I do not recommend anyone renting here. They screw you over! Tacked on a late charge for one day then never told us about it and never showed on our statements which we check regularly. So have paid them over 2000 for this month but are getting evicted for lawyer fees. Didnt say anything about the lawyer fees until yesterday morning went and had the money standing in line to get the cashiers check. She (Bobby) called and said they wont take it anymore. They have not gone through the proper channels to evict. We never had anything posted on our door never got served with papers about a court date. We never received anything from them about anything. I am absolutely appalled I am a single mother of 2 with a disabled mother who just went into remission and being thrown out with no where to go. They will hear from our lawyer and they will be the ones paying for it.

We lived in these apartments for a year after moving from out of state. Overall, it was a good place but there were a few things that were frustrating. There were a number of times that the office would just be randomly closed without notice. Im assuming this was when staff was showing off apartments but a sign would have been nice.It was also frustrating to be paying for amenities that we couldnt use. The office/clubhouse has been under construction for many months now so residents have had no access to workout equipment or a pool without going a few miles to a different property. But dont worry, they were still advertising their awesome amenities.I will say that the maintenance staff is awesome. They were always working hard to solve whatever issue you may have. Its a good location with ample parking so if its a good price, its worth looking at but dont get your hopes up too high.

I feel 1 start is more than what they deserve. Lived in this complex for more than 2.5 years. Initially everything was great. But after the recent management change in May 2018 everything just got worse. Parking situation is bad and I mean not from the finding a parking spot stand point but parking lot by pool near Building F is worst. You can trip and hurt yourself so you have to be careful while walking and if you parked your car in a corner parking space and if it rained than your car will be flooded. The worst part is property management people knows about the bad parking situation and is ready to do nothing. They love to get as much money as possible out of your pocket but property maintenance is a JOKE.Here is the worst part, after you move out of the apartment your dues will automatically go to Debt collector without you being notified. They will not send you any letter or Email or call you but send your dues to debt collectors even though you have never been late on your payments in the past. When I moved in to the apartment customer service and response from property management people was good but I feel like with the new change in management it just went downhill.

I moved here about a year ago and regret my decision. The apartments are very, very cheaply constructed. I would agree with the other residents/former residents reviews that it is not luxury living here at all, for many reasons, and that the management here is inconsistent and uncaring. Maintenance is understaffed; therefore, very slow.Main Points:A) HIDDEN/EXTRA FEES + VALET TRASH(add $200/month to rent.),B) CHEAP CONSTRUCTION / VERY SLOW MAINTENANCE RESPONSE,C) INCOMPETENT/UNCARING MANAGEMENT,D) RATS & ROACHESExamples:1) KITCHEN SINK KEEPS COLLAPSING. My kitchen sink fell below into the cabinet space beneath, dislocating the water pipe and causing inundation on my kitchen floor. The sink cannot hold a medium sized pot full of water and dirty dishes in it.... When I called for help, the sink was glued back on and stapled back together with little beams or clips from underneath that obviously could not hold it up. Result: sink falls, dislocates pipe again, water everywhere in the cabinet underneath and on the kitchen floor, AGAIN! I called management again, but my maintenance request was not considered as urgent. Result: I had a broken leaking sink I could not use for a few days. I had to do dishes in my bathroom sink.... Maintenance came and did another quick fix, but the results were the same. They said theyd return to finish the caulking around the sink but never came. I worried about mold or more leaking under the sink or in between the sink and counter, so I made an online maintenance request, which was completely ignored for about a month. I felt like giving up at this point, but I finally called the office manager--a helpful woman who no longer works here--who sent maintenance over pronto. At this point, I thought my troubles were over, only to find out a few weeks later that my kitchen sink was, again, collapsing because it was full of dirty dishes, cups, cutlery...(stuff most people put in it...) Never happened in other apartments where I lived. Not even student housing.... AND, when I complained and filled out an online survey, stating that management or owner needs to hire more maintenance workers, construction is faulty, maintenance is slow, one of the maintenance workers who used to work here hassled me, making irrelevant comments that I live in one of the nicer apartments that includes ceiling fans and a sprayer in the kitchen sink. That he should play with my daughter (who kept asking me to play with her) while I fixed the broken things in the apartment since I am so demanding, and asking in a snarky tone if there was Anything else? that needed to be fixed. He definitely implied that I am spoiled and complained too much (about my broken, collapsing kitchen sink and its aftermath, gushing water everywhere in kitchen!) Thank goodness my husband is an engineer and fixed it himself! We purchased a wooden pillar from Home Depot, measured and cut it in two, and used them to hold up our sink from underneath in one of the supposedly nicer, updated apartments Copper T. has to offer.Currently, there is only one maintenance guy working here, and he is very courteous and kind. However, one man is just not enough to fix all the residents broken/deteriorating apartments and care for the Grounds/Building/Pool. Management needs to hire more maintenance workers.2) UNRESOLVED ELECTRICAL OUTAGES IN BEDROOM. The light and fans in one of our bedrooms suddenly turn off by themselves, and maintenance came twice, but cannot figure it out. We just deal with lights turning off suddenly in the middle of the evening when we need it, or our fans start running full speed all of a sudden in the winter..... I just hope it wont ever cause fire!3) MISSING BLINDS & HIDDEN FEES. My toddler tore off some blinds in the living room, facing out to the main road and another occupied apartment in the complex across from us. We had to live without blinds for several weeks with no privacy. To top off the slow maintenance request turnover, we had to pay $3 a blind for replacement. Same with light bulbs out in the kitchen.

Loud, unsupervised kids use the space as one giant playground. Good luck trying to get some peace and quiet on ANY day here. It was a nice, quiet place when I started, but now there are kids that run around completely unsupervised that SCREAM at the top of their lungs and no one does a thing about it. It got a little quieter after I complained a couple of times, but most of the noise are from 4 Hispanic kids that are yelling so loud that I can hear them over my headphones. Yes, I have to put on headphones on my Roku to listen to my TV.Lets start in 2011 when I first moved in. The manager was Melissa and she was great. She cared about the complex and the community and was constantly hosting get-togethers. A couple of years later, the owner sold it to Alliance, who turned it into another cookie-cutter property. They slapped some new paint on the leasing office and raised the prices dramatically. I understand prices were going up, but this place does NOT have the amenities to keep up with the competition. Since I got my place with no renovations, I was grandfathered in at a good price. The new management did not like that and has been trying to gouge me for the last few years, even one of the managers told me that. This place also had a murderer living here. The one good thing is the maintenance. Theyre on time and do things right. This last rent gouge was going to go up nearly $150/month, so Im getting out. Their workout area is tiny..with just a few machines. The grounds are always trashy and when I pass some garbage, at least Ive been nice enough to pick it up in the past. No more. The owners dont care about you. They send out surveys to ask how theyre doing. Well, youre gouging me and youve forced a $25/month trash valet thats not needed - there are PLENTY of trashcans in either direction but theyre making you pay. Its mandatory.

The new team seems to have no clue of having the experience at their job. Our community looks worse than ever. They do not trim our hedges or make and maintain what we had before . Copper Terrace is going down hill and soon will be the worst on the block . Recently there has been a tenant that has had the police called to there apartment on 5 different times She had the cops there so much that it is a regular thimg. And Copper Terrrace has not acted at all. This tenant in D103 is a young lady with several problems and has charges of Assulting a 81 yr old lady. This tenant is still here. This is the type of person Copper Terrace is permitting to live in our community . A child was recently run over in the street also. The management has made this place unsafe and a embarrassment . It has only been 5 months this management co has been here and it is already time for them to go. Do not rent from Copper Terrace . It will be one of the worst mistakes you can make. Poor value for money. This is a bad compromise on price and location. Yes, it is slightly cheaper on paper than some other complexes around here, but you get so much less for your money that its not worth it. Also, good luck ever getting your money back when you move out.Dont be fooled by the rent here being cheap relative to the area. Between valet trash service and various other mandatory add-ons, youll actually be paying the landlord about $70/month more than the listed rent if you live alone, plus roughly another $35/month for each additional person. Parking is completely inadequate, so unless you never leave your apartment after 7 PM, plan on another $75/month for a parking garage. Accounting for those, a rent advertised as $1,300 is actually going to cost about $1,450.Given that their pricing borders on false advertising, their maintenance staff moves at glacial speed, and that the office staff acts like theyre doing you a favor by not COMPLETELY ignoring you, move somewhere else.
