Installed a Top Sealing Damper with Chimney Concepts and it was great!The job was done well and technician explained how it all works in details.The job scheduling process might need a bit of improvement - I sent a check at the first date after estimation and then I was told that it would take them up to ~2 weeks before they will call me to schedule the work.Fortunately, the scheduling went much faster and in about 2 weeks after the check was sent I got the job done.

Ive had Chimney Concepts come to my house a couple times over the past few years to service our gas log fireplace systems and have had consistent positive experiences. They communicate well and provide a call or text of when theyll be arriving. Pricing was transparent and the work was done well. Theyre careful to not leave any mess behind and made sure that our units were safe and up to code. They answered all my questions and were friendly throughout the process. They even helped me get a replacement part for a corroded burner on full warranty so I only had to pay for the labor costs. Our latest technician Dave was quite knowledgable. I am happy to know that our fireplaces are functional and safe.

We used Chimney Concepts for removal of a chimney/chase and install of a new gas fireplace. I cant recommend them enough. Cody and Brad did a fantastic job. They were professional, courteous, and the new installation is impeccable. They took the time to double check my preferences along the way and even went out of their way to fix some poorly installed shingles around the new vent pipe that a prior roofer left. They left the place clean and took the time to walk through all of the operations for the new unit. One of the best experiences I have ever had with any contractors.

We just completed a two part, two day repair process for our Flue/chimney including a new PVC coating in the flue with a specialized technician. Dylan was prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the entire process to us, and was happy to answer all of our questions. Tl;dr: Chimney Concepts did an amazing job on our fireplace.Longer version: My partner and I moved to Milwaukee in July for work. We bought a house with more issues than we planned on, one of which was a fireplace with a broken firebox. Despite multiple attempts on her part to find someone to fix it, we met with no success.I finally found Chimney Concepts, and they were fantastic. Scheduled a quick visit for a quote, and quoted what I think was a reasonable price. They worked out a quote to include just the minimum necessary repair to get the fireplace working (firebox and smoke chamber repair) and a separate quote to repair the entire system (masonry around the chimney).Unfortunately we were scheduled for the repair at the beginning of April. We were disappointed because we wanted to use the fireplace during the winter, but understood the delay was unavoidable because of the season. However, their schedule shifted (a cancellation, I believe) and they were able to fit our repair in over a month early.The guy who did our repair, Robert, was fantastic. At multiple points throughout the repair he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He seemed to take the time necessary to do the job well. I think the pictures probably speak for themselves (the rear wall is the visible part of the repair).I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for a fireplace repair.

The job was not without its hiccups, however. No job is. Its how those problems are resolved, where the true professionals shine. Larry, our tech, anticipated and overcame every obstacle. Dylan did a fantastic job on my fireplace. It looks wonderful! And Dillon was great for the installation of the mantle. The entire project took longer due to unforeseen circumstances with my electricity around the fireplace (understandable) and they did a great job of getting the right people in place to do what needed to get done to take care of it. I was a little disappointed because I felt like I ended up managing the project myself. I had to call every few days to make sure everything kept going and see that it got finished in a timely manner. I assumed they would have taken the lead and given me more guidance (I had to ask to have grout put in the tile after several friends told me that was normal). Overall, they did a very nice job on my fireplace though. The workers were great and the final product came out wonderfully. Very happy with the new fireplace. Thanks for all the hard work.

Couldn’t be happier with Chimney Concepts. GREAT customer service.They installed our gas fireplace, and after about 8-months we started having an intermittent gas leak. Our technician didn’t initially find the leak, but he gave us his personal contact information and said to call if it happened again. A couple of weeks later we smelled gas, turn it off and called, 30-minutes later he was in our house and fixed the problem.Awesome!Highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service. We have had a project going for over a month. Parts have come in broken and we never receive updates from Chimney concepts about status of parts being ordered and constantly are calling asking for a timeline. I would never recommend them.

We use Chimney Concepts every year for inspection of our chimneys before fire season. This year they found some cracks in the chimney tiles and we needed a new flue. So far weve been pleased with the work. The separation of rebuilding the chimney and then replacing the flashing seems a bit awkward as our new chimney is now swathed in plastic until the flashing folks get here. Not very well explained in the original estimate.

What a delight to work with Chimney Concepts - again! Our need was to reduce the amount of ash that comes from our current wood burning stove - which is 25+ years old. We expected the need for a new stove. Instead, Bobby listened well to understand our need and then proceeded to describe steps we can take to lessen the release of ash with our current stove. While we discussed new stoves, he was clear that a new stove would likely not result in what we were attempting to achieve. Bobby was an exceptional salesperson - who was most intent in helping us! Very disappointed in this company. I paid a very large amount of money to have a chimney rebuilt. I was not home while they did the work. They provided no updates, no pictures showing work product. They have a lock on the market in Sheboygan, but I would be careful about using them. In fact I wont be using them again.

Weve been happy with their service in the past but I just called to book a chimney cleaning and they are booked out 4 months (called in October, first appointment end of Feb). Hopefully they will hire more staff to be able to service their customers needs appropriately! We had to call somewhere else so we can use our fireplace this winter.

I would highly recommend Chimney Concepts for fireplace needs. We have used them for years to clean our wood burning fireplace and chimney. Once we decided to get a gas insert they did that work too. Now they do our yearly maintenance for the insert. The technicians have always been on time, very friendly and extremely efficient. Our last technician (Dave) even discovered that our owners manual for our new insert was in French! Within an hour of leaving our house he had emailed me an English version of our manual so we’d have it! We will certainly continue to use them in the future!

Theyre open about telling you that services you requested are not yet needed, rather than just doing them to be able to charge you, and that is something I really appreciate.

Bought a Pacific Energy wood stove 5 years ago. We specifically went with this one to heat our farm house. We also ordered a metal grate insert to safely burn with the door open.Year one:the came to clean the chimney, no problemsYear two:they came to clean the chimney and found some broken parts under warrantyYear three: cleaned chimney, no problemsYear four: they cleaned the chimney and again found the same parts under warranty. Except- this time they said it would not be under warranty as they already did it once before. They wanted $500 to fix the issue and said the manufacturer would not warranty these parts because “we burned too long and with the door open and the gate on”. (Even though we bought the metal gate from them with no mention that it wasn’t supposed to be used often and they knew we were using it to heat our house for 6-9 months).We ended up finding an antique parlor stove from 1911 that looks and works better.

Had two chimney caps installed and process was extremely smooth. From quick, hassle free estimate to payment and installation. Caps look great. Very happy with whole process.
