Chad was really nice! He took the time to listen to my concerns and was very thorough with spraying the perimeter of my condo (storage rooms, garage and patio included). Extremely happy with my experience from start to finish!

There was no contact made with me at all. I have no idea whether anyone came and now I will probably be sent a bill. They have my phone number to text or call and my email address that they could send to yet no contact. Not only that, but the last time in June they made an appointment and never showed up. Very poor ethics

We have asked multiple times for prior notice of day on inspection/treatment. We have provided access keys to multiple technicians for entry to our home. We are now retired and home most days, but Orkin cannot hear our request for prior notice to their arrival, which is never on the same day or time as the previous month. This is the 2nd month in a row we were not here when the tech arrived so we are paying for the service but not getting anything for our money!!! CALL US BEFORE YOU COME AGAIN!!!! YOU HAVE OUR PHONE NUMBER ON FILE!!!

Inspection for bats and checking insulation work done in Nov. 2022 They have done a great job for us, would recommend them.

I called them and they came within 3 hours on a Saturday, the guy we had was super nice, answered all of my questions and walked us through the process step by step and it was all done within about 40 min or less.

What I was promised and what was done were 2 very different things. I was told I would get an inspection and any possible entry points would be sealed. neither happened. I signed up for the seasonal program and still an ant problem after multiple trips out. the guy who sprayed was very nice however they did provide the service as promised and they have not taken care of the problem.

Pricey, but done thoroughly!!! fast response, no reinfestation. Left me with a lot of knowledge.

Due to the derecho that totaled our home we were able to move right away to another home but had already been occupied by pests. I called Orkin and since then its made a huge difference. Rob is very professional and does a very thorough job every time. Thanks Orkin man!

They screwed up appointment times on FOUR different occasions. No one there knows WTH is going on at any given point in the process. I dont know how similar private local businesses operate but Im going to find out. Done with these clowns, I dont have time to babysit.

Canceled on us 2 times but the third time did arrive. Still have had a few ticks on us. Not sure if there is a period of time that they are still active after the treatment. So we shall see after a few days if it worked.

Still have bat guano collecting on our front door step, more than ever. This is after 11000 in bills, incomplete work, won’t return our calls. Horrible service. Said they would guarantee they would get the bats out. Now they won’t return our calls. Unbelievable. NEVER use Orkin - at least not in south east Iowa. These people don’t have a clue

I was impressed by the professionalism of both the customer service rep on the phone and the extermination specialist. They were able to come the same hday I called to take care of our wasp nest in our mailbox and answered all my questions about reoccurrence and hazards to cats. (There are no hazards to cats.) I would highly recommend Orkin to anyone dealing with wasps!

Inspection was well done. Quote did not match contract, but was corrected. 3 times were scheduled & didnt show up without a call. Overall satisfaction will depend on results

On the scheduled day of our first service, the local representative called to ask questions that were already provided to the first person with whom I spoke. I was asked to describe the insects, and was told that he (perhaps the fellow assigned to the task) had never heard of flying bugs that bite. He may have been absent during the class that discussed flies, hornets, wasps, or bees. I was then asked to collect these mythical pests in a plastic bag for analysis by someone with knowledge of their existence. I believe the man had no interest in working in the heat of the day. Be quite wary of these experts and ask them to work on a cool day. Needless to say, our problem still persists.

I’m not sure if their computer system is flawed or if they are just lacking communication, but the last two weeks we have had to reschedule our service twice and THREE times have either missed the service due to being told the wrong date/time, or had the tech just not show up at all. Extremely inconvenient.

Representative was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Treated all the areas asking about any new problems and concerns, it was a pleasure having him do the work.

Service is fine. Does what the service says it will. I had to wait an hour passed the scheduled two hour time slot. Three hours of waiting on my birthday was frustrating to say the least.

Awesome and professional. I called on a Friday night and got an appointment for Saturday 8-10. He showed up during this window and the Orkin man was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and feel the pricing was fair.

Carl came out today and did an amazing job. I voiced all of my concerns and he met everything I could have asked for. Even went into the small cellar under the house (something I’d never do unless I had to re-ignite the water heater) and made sure everything was taken care of. Couldn’t have possibly asked for someone better than Carl to make sure everything was taken care of.

One of the worst service I would say . Or may be the super annoying service. They provide a different quote And then when service person comes in with different quote $. So, I was afraid to give credit card and paid in cash to service person. Even after I paid, customer service calls me asking to pay again. What’s happening guys .. is this a Scam ???.. then I messaged service person and he says it takes a week to reflect the payment but it’s been a month and I get a letter indicating I’m 142$ due .. customer care is another useless service. They told that they will make local office call me as they don’t have enough information but they never did it .. omg .. frustrating experience than to have roaches in home .. please beware of orkins and take a video proof if anyone of you is paying by cash. If these guys are not willing to solve this issue, I have in messages,service man saying he received the payment and it takes a week to reflect online. I might need to contact someone to raise a complaint and resolve this issue

Never called or notified us they were comingWhich was set up by agreement. Dog went crazy and we were not home. Not pleased.

Have been trying to cancel my service and continue to be told that my service can only be canceled by a manager but the manager is never around and does not call back. Whoever answers the phones there is also rude. The service itself was good and the techs were friendly.

I called them for noises in the attic. On the call I told them it sounds much bigger and much louder than a mouse. They seemed fine with that and agreed to come out at the price of $200+. Once here they wouldnt go in the attic and said, its probably mice. They wanted to sell me a yearly plan at $50 a month to treat for mice.I called Critter Control and they did the job. They caught a squirrel and discovered the beginning of bats starting to come in. They identified where the squirrel was coming in. Theyve been in contact daily and come out regularly at no charge unless they catch something or do some other work.Orkin tried to sell me nonsense and Ive never seen a mouse or evidence of one. We were able to send them out without having to pay for this garbage after a little back and forth. Its like theyre selling phone contracts.

I scheduled an appointment to inspect my house and Price difference between the original quote given on call and the quote brought by person is about 150$ difference. Their prices changes without any reason . Frustrating experience.Update-This is becoming even more worse. As these guys are changing their service rates each time I call, I paid them with cash for the service person visited our house at the time of service (140$) but now their customer service rep calls back and asks me to pay again. What’s happening guys ... worst worst worst experience ever .The guy who took the money sees all my messages and he barely responded back. Finally customer service person told, she left a message to manager to verify and give me a call but no confirmation yet.Please beware of giving credit cards or when you pay by cash take a video proof or something to avoid my situation.Once my problem is resolved I can delete this but not before that .

Last fall , 2020 , We heard a noise in the attic . We called Orkin , after Orkin’s inspection , We had bats , So , Colin and another gentleman sealed roof and ridge cap At the time, Orkin added more insulation Super job May 2021 , Colin returned and installed a bat box , and recheck the soffit . Awesome service my house was destroyed from the derecho but I currently am living pest free again

You name it, our neighborhood had it! A block-wide bug problem, so serious that the sidewalk, decks, and lawn had cockroaches. Disgusting! But with work on my end (treating the yard with otc pellets and diligence inside) and regular visits from orkin my house is bug free. I feel like my home is protected. They work. Great job and super polite.

The technician sprayed for insects and provided mouse traps in the attic.

We had carpenter ants in our kitchen and needed help immediately. I had called two other places and hadn’t heard a response after two days. I called Orkin and they were able to come the same day and were professional and nice and took the time to explain everything to us. The first application went on tonight, so far so good.

Removal and installation of attic insulation. Workers were very polite and cleaned up when the work was completed.

He couldnt confirm but was pretty sure it may be bats hanging outside yuk! But cant wait to get rid of these critters. We would definitely refer Orkin.

They have good customer service but charge for some of their estimates, this always is a downfall in my book.

We found the hornet nest on a Friday night and looked online for a service and found Orkin. I called and spoke with a lady who helped me get a service scheduled. She initially tried to set it up the next day, but we were not available. The appointment was set for the following Monday, between 10:00-12:00. However, at 11:59, I called because no one had come to the house. The customer service rep made a call to try to contact the business, but said someone would call me back. The Orkin business did call back within a half hour and apologized the order did not come through to them, but they would send someone out right away. The Orkin technician arrived, however, he didnt have what he needed to do the job and had to reschedule for the following day. Two technicians arrived and took care of the hornet nest in the tree and the wasp nest around the house. They did cut a limb out of the maple tree we were not told would happen, so not real happy about that. At this moment, overall I am satisfied.

Had a few issues with the actual scheduling of my appointment (which was not the technicians faut). Once he arrived, Rob did an excellent job describing the agreement details and then how he was going to treat the issue - both inside and outside applications. He did a thorough job with the treatments and was pleasant to talk to. I would like him as my technician going forward but probably will not happen due to us living outside his assigned area.

They installed termite baits stations around our house. A few days later I contacted them to let them know that something was digging around the baits, they said they would have someone look at them. We still havent seen anyone check them. There also seems to be some confusion about our contract.

Technician took the time beyond the pest application inside and outside he also swept webs around my patio siding.

Asked to discontinue service after paying my bill- they said they would and was sent another bill! So senseless - will not be using Orkin ever again. Still have spiders horribly upstairs and a mouse ! The guy “checked traps” when he was here and I paid for useless services

I had a problem with carpenter ants. I called Orkin late morning and had a serviceman on site in 2 hours. He explained everything clearly, including the fact the products hed be using didnt contain allergens I react to. He and a colleague treated all areas of the house, inside and out, in about 10 minutes. Very friendly, helpful guy, who was very knowledgeable.
