Amazing customer service! Everyone was very kind and respectful in dealing with an issue that I had with a previous purchase that I needed help with. In shopping at other stores, I can honestly say their customer service and the quality of their lumber cant be beat. I will gladly drive further just to shop here. Its worth your time to be treated like a valued customer and not just another number. Thank you so much!

They carry lots of the trending tropicals and large plants. Prices are good and all the plants I have gotten there have been healthy. The Cedar Rapids location has an even bigger selection.

Like The Depot, Harbor Freight, Menards, etc.. this is a great guy store, although I must admit there are a bunch of females I know that also love to come to all of these types of stores. Its just fun. Cant really explain why, except that Lowes is always a little cleaner, with the same great selection and competitive prices to stay right in there with the competition.. a great store

Customer Service is amazing! Not sure if its their hiring practices, training program or just two amazing associates named Mary and Chad, but I walked away on Saturday in a great mood. Linda at the front of the store is always so friendly and a big part of the reason Ive always enjoyed Lowes in CR, but Chad and Mary knocked it out of the park. I was completely overwhelmed and ended up leaving with everything I needed and a smile on my face that wasnt there when I walked in. Thanks for the great customer experience!

Customer Service is incompetent and unable to resolve issues. I contacted this business after I realized my online order was incorrect and instead of correcting the original order, they ran as another order, charged my bank acct and and now, I have an unnecessary hold on my checking account for almost a week. I contacted the business three times to have it corrected and still they are unable to do the right thing.

Dont trust them to deliver your appliances. They damaged my fridge and when I asked for them to correct It I was call this number not our problem. The wait was close to two hours and I never got thru. They did not care when I went back to the store a manager said he could not use a magic wand and did it. Lowes is supposed support veterans well they screwed this one over.

Placed a order through their website, which they then canceled. I only found out three days later because I tried to follow up on the status. The majority of the order was paid for with a gift card. Lowes doesnt have the ability to issue E-gift cards. So I am still waiting for a physical refund gift card to be shipped to me. And when I check the tracking information I find out the expected delivery date has already been delayed once so far. AND Lowes hasnt offered any REAL explanation as to why the order was canceled. Other stores in Iowa have inventory of one of the items I ordered and the second item would (according to customer service) be available within a week. And nothing in the way of an apology or recompense for the inconvenience. I will USE the gift card but after this experience I would HIGHLY recommend The Home Depot or Menards.

DO NOT go there unless you ABSOLUTELY have to because of the time! They say that they will price match, but when they see the price difference on identical item it becomes an issue and wont do it! Horrible service! PLEASE shop anywhere else, other local stores like Home Depot offer discounts to veterans and support troops. Dont over pay and get educated advice.

I was given a task to pick up parts for a gas line fitting for my son. Male/female adaptors and fitting sizes are not my specialty. After trying to figure it out for 30 min I flagged down Jack who was able to help me figure it out. It ended up working perfectly! Top notch customer service!! Huge thank you to Jack at this Lowes!

Ordered standard stock knee pads that were on the shelf at location.Was told it would take a week or 2 too arrive and be ready for pickup, and that if I wanted a pair from the shelf I would need to cancel my current order and buy them with a separate transaction.This was a company purchase and I could not cancel and repurchase on the spot in store.Not the biggest issue since there was at least some solution. But it was not helpful to me and the situation seemed to be made far more difficult than needed. Multiple employees all tried and seemed confused they couldnt just let me have the unit from the shelf.Everyone was curtious though, unlike my usual visit to coralville lowes hardware, tools, or light bulb section where I always feel treated like a burden.

Got some great deals! $60 light for $35 for baby room and a $30 light for $4 for the kitchen!

We have been customers of Lowe’s for many years. It is understandable that there is a shortage of employees; however, today we stood in line at the garden center for more than fifteen minutes while two employees helped one customer. Finally, left and went to Home Depot where we received excellent service.

No price match on item was rushed when close to closing. Hours need changed as tried stopping before and same issue closed. Home depot getting more of my business. Even tho was starting to like the kobalt stuff. Shame. Cant buy if closed or rushed out. And with less service. 3 stars just for quality stuff. But generous on that as same quality at home depot.

I do a lot of at home projects, and Lowes almost always has what I need at a fair price. Best part though is the customer service. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, always going above and beyond. Never have had an issue they havent helped me solve. The picture is just showing an example of somethjng they helped me with, deciding on how to join, stain and treat.

Found everything I needed and the service guy was very helpful and super nice. Check out was ok. The only down side was super hard to find box tape. But eventually was able to find some with help from the staff. I would recommend for st least bathroom dnd plumbing needs.

Went to Lowes this morning and I was happy that they had everything on my list but 2 things that occurred during my visit caused me to scratch my head. #1 number personal checkers available. #2 long and disorganized checkout lines.While I prefer and use self checkouts when possible several of them were not working. The only personal checker was behind a self checkout station and it was difficult to see or access them. I believe that is what sparked a customer to leave her full cart of stuff near the checkout and exit the store for a competitor where she could get that personal touch in a less crowded environment. Something to think about..

Found two beautiful light fixtures that fit perfectly with my bathroom. Easy to install, and fairly light weight.

The air filter for my furnace was shown as isle 36, bay 3. It was actually located isle 35 bay 8-12 area. The filter also was a 3M product vice a best air filter as shown on the Lowes App.

Ill say theres a great amount of inventory to meet your needs for pretty much any home improvement activity. The gardening section is what we frequent the most and even though wed like to see more of a healthy variety of plants, their selection is sufficient for most garden beds.

I will NEVER NEVER NEVER come here for ANYTHING I need installed EVER!!We purchased a deck door & install AND Floor tile & install March of this year 2021.. We were told everything would be installed May... Between the employee taking over an hr and a half to attempt to print out our ticket to pay should have been a sign in March, AND we even had to come back and pay the next day because none of the managers would come to the multiple pages from the intercom to help the employee......After the job getting pushed out another month. Fast forward to today, the deck door was finally gonna be installed.. Lowes NEVER delivered our deck door as scheduled OR even checked the door to find out they ordered the wrong size After paying for them to come out physically to measure our door frame...We said f the floor install since they pushed us out till mid July🤬 and I demanded refunded!Since we paid in cash, we now have to drive AGAIN 40 min 1 way to get our refund... I will NEVER do anything with lowes ever again! The amount of back and forth with these people is REDICULOUS and we wont get reimbursed for our out of pocket.We are instead having our floor installed from Randys flooring and they were very accommodating last min and will have everything installed in 6 weeks PROPERLY!!.

Went in to purchase a squirrel feeder and although it was very busy, the help was friendly and they directed me to the area I was looking for. Bit of a line at check out but wasnt a bad wait.

I really like how organized this store is which makes many items easy to locate. Every so often when I can’t find something there’s always been someone specific they would call on the radio. The help always arrives in a timely fashion and in my 4 or 5 experiences with this, was knowledgeable enough to tell me right away either exactly where the item could be found or inform me that they did not stock it but always offered to order it for me. Prices are a shade higher than some of their competitors however I don’t mind paying a little more when the service is on par. I like to think the company might be passing that on to their employees who are so well representing them.

Ok if what you want is simple cash and carry. If you need a special order or delivery theres a 90% chance theyll screw it up. Departments dont communicate, and they seem to be lacking some simple processes.

My experience at Lowes was great customer service A+ Zack helped me look at sheds and make appointments. Very knowledgeable and courteous.

I love their selection on everything from lightbulbs to lawn care. They have the BEST outdoor plant selection BY FAR. Ive been to Menards (awful service & selection) & Home Depot & neither come close to Lowes. Lowes is the furthest to drive & desperately wish it were closer 😌

Dissatisfied with craftsman tool warranty. They shouldnt sale craftman if they cant provide the warranty. A phone number noone answers doesnt make me happy.

Bad. Terrible. They lost my pickup order somewhere inside the store. 40 minutes outside in the parking lot waiting. Made two trips in. No one had the courtesy to come out and talk to me.

Clean store and professional staff. They are just a bit too pushy on their pro card (lowes credit card). Stopped in again and had lots of help from picking out a sander, to how to save the most with combinations of military discounts and a $20 off coupon. I appreciate that their store is so grateful to those who have served. I will definitely be back.

Today I came in with a friend, no intention of buying anything. Of course I found a great deal on an area rug in the perfect color. Great price + military discount... I went home with the area rug. Lowes is one of my favorite stores. Quality products, variety of options and respecting Veterans. Always a win win!

After shopping at the Lowes Coralville, Iowa store for carpet and laminate flooring we had the area measured by the Lowes 3rd party representative on Nov 17, 2020. On Nov 20 we placed the order by phone and paid by credit card. The laminate install was completed and was satisfactory. On December 20 the carpet installers came with the carpet. This was for a large family room, 2 brdms, closets and hallway. The installers could not get the seam satisfactory to them after multiple attempts. They left and their supervisor came back a couple of days later and picked up a carpet sample to determine the problem. On Dec 28 another group of installers came and again, could not get a seam that they were satisfied with. We were told we would hear back soon with a determination of next steps. After not hearing anything, on January 8, 2021 I called the store flooring dept and was told someone would call back. No one did. On Jan 13, I called the store again and was directed to the flooring manager who was busy but did actually call back. I explained the situation and asked to review the invoice because I had questions but was told by the flooring manager that it was out of his hands. I was running out of time to dispute the card transaction so on January 19, I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer - my last and most regretful option. On Jan 21 I did get a call from the 3rd party installation company and I explained that at this point they just needed to come and pick up the rolls of carpet so I could order carpet from a reputable carpet store. I have still not heard from Lowes and 1/2 our our house continues to be unusable and has been since early November. The good news is that I did get a veterans discount. The bad news is that Lowes apparently does not know what that concept actually means. Buyer beware.

Got a washer and dryer here, among other things after buying a home. Their supply is great, and their employees are always so helpful. Even though its not the closest hardware store to my house, Lowes is my go-to.

Buyer beware ! We bought carpet and padding for our entire house... 7 rooms and from day one the carpet hasn’t been right. We’ve called and spoke to Lowe’s about this and they have done nothing. Living room carpet wasn’t properly stretched and the sub floor not cleaned.. We have large bumps in the middle of our living room. Stairs going down to our basement East stapled down instead of tack stripped down and like the living room not stretched properly.. Bedroom down stairs was just cut wrong. Lowe’s in Cedar Rapids was our go to store.. Not anymore.

Wont answer the phone after 9pm! Dont close until 10:00! Really?!!

Worst service ever! Bought counter tops worth $6000.Lowe’s contracts their installers out of Bettendorf , Iowa. They came to our house , laser measured counters and got it wrong. The quartz countertop piece for the new sink was not cut correctly and had to be reordered in order to match but the installers and Lowe’s will not communicate with us and have not received any updates on status of the replacement piece of granite . In the meantime we have been without water in our kitchen for nearly 2 weeks. In addition I had to do the scheduling of both the counter top installers and the plumbers through a third party which was a total disasterCommunications was unbelievably poor and I had not received any information from Lowe’s regarding this 3rd party service. Terrible service all the way around

Bought a storm door from them to have installed. It took 2 months to get only to have them install the wrong door after showing 3different people there the door I wanted. Then another 6 weeks to get the correct door installed after getting a manager involved to get it done. Then . I guess I’m a slow learner but was in 5 days ago and bought a snow blower which was to be delivered the next day and never showed up. After calling several times I finally get someone on the phone who said it is on the delivery schedule to deliver that day. I called back today and they say it doesn’t show being out for delivery ... so I was lied to the day before. I asked to talk to a manager and she says mgr. is not in. I asked for mgr. name and she wasn’t sure. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I take off work to be home when they come then they don’t show up. So loss of wages and the cost and frustration is not worth shopping there.

I was looking for a certain item which I did not find. I have bought appliances at Lowes and Ive never had a problem. A recent KCRG News cast reported that they would not refund money to a customer who bought a malfunctioning generator during the the derecho. This greatly disappointed me. They finally refunded the money after KCRG reported it on the news. Now I question whether I should be buying anything from them or not.

This lowes is one of my most preferred places to shop. The employees are generally helpful and the store is clean and east to navigate. Returns are both fair and painless. Not much more anyone could ask for of a retail store

Went to Cedar Rapids Lowes today to shop for new electric range. Clerk standing alone at cash register couldnt care less, never offering any help, let alone even to acknowledge our presence. We spent a considerable amount of time reviewing various ranges on our own and selected one we would have bought. But left without purchasing, making sure the clerk could hear me say, we may as well leave because no one wants to help us here. Went to Best Buy and bought our new range.

I will not by another extended warranty from Lowes. Our LG fridge failed, it was covered under the extended warranty. Lowes refused to come out and repair the refrigerator and instead refunded me the purchase price that I bought it for a year ago due to covid. A lot has happened with price inflation since last year. I looked at the same fridge they refused to fix that was currently in the Lowes appliance area. It is now over $1,200 more. Same model and I cant get it unless I pay an additional $1,200. Enough with protection plans that are not adequate. Your products should be replaced by a same or similar product under the protection plan. At least give a customer a choice in the decision.

Ordered a refrigerator and was suppose to be delivered after 4-5 days. Delivery wasn’t on time of day and found out item wasn’t even in their store to be delivered. When I call the store only to be put on hold for multiple of times and transferred called that they never pickup to talked with. Spend whole hour multiple times calling them to get ahold of service because they the call was cut off or nobody would answer their phone. Only was my new refrigerator not transferred to the local store on time to be delivered but the service didn’t have a clue of the problem. Still waiting for answers from Lowes and still waiting for my refrigerator to be delivered.

Came in to the Cedar Rapids Lowe’s today. Looking to buy doors. I Don’t really know much about some exterior doors but was lucky enough to find an associate named Allen who downplayed his knowledge of doors but when he explained the differences it was a whole new world to me. Thankful for Lowe’s for hiring knowledgeable staff.

I was prompted by both the the checkout screen and cashier that I was pre approved for a Lowe’s credit card. They made a hard inquiry, declined my application and tanked my credit for my trouble. I have an 800+ credit score and have never been turned down for any credit card ever.

Seems to always have what I need.

Lowes is always clean, has a nice variety of supplies but my only complaint is that I always have a hard time finding an employee to help me! I am handicapped, the building is huge & there are many items to pick from so I ended up leaving without what I needed!

I found a ktichen light bulb I couldnt find at three other places. They seemed to have a pretty large selection.

Horrible place to shop, i am not sure what has changed here but now its a mixture of wal-mart and the post office...with pets. leave your dogs at home while you go pick up nails and a bag of dirt. good luck trying to find someone to help too, they are nowhere to be found!

Product is good, but nobody available to help me decide which shop vacuum to buy. I just guessed and the guys in the repsir shop liked it. Lowes is short staffing.

Only shop here when i am close to the store and need somthing fast. Very hard to find things. Their online locator never matches whats in the store and they always have the wrong thing on the wrong shelf. Also noticed lots of items opened and pieces removed.

This is the worst Lowes Ive ever shopped at. I went to get some blinds and needed them cut. The employee that was helping me told me to go get them and meet him at the cutting machine instead of helping me. Then he ran off and never came back. Another time I needed help in flooring and couldnt find anyone to help me reach an item. I walked around the store and found two employees helping another customer and as I stood their waiting, neither ever acknowledged me. I ended up having to climb to get the item I needed. Every time Ive been in this store, I have to chase someone down to help me and Ive had to go the manager several times for other issues. They just make excuses for the poor customer service. I wont be shopping at this store any longer.

Hard to find what we needed, aisles were full of random stuff blocking the shelves. 3 employees standing around got yelled at for not helping while the garden center was in chaos. We finally got our stuff and GTFO.

CR Lowes has horrible managers. They are rude and condescending. We will not spend another penny there. They have changed managers and its not good.
