I left Amfam to go to State Farm on my rental policy. Huge mistake! SF has been terrible to work with on my rentals. Amfam has been great on my personal house & will regain all my business after repairs are done. Jake is awesome. He’s really hands on with helping his clients out with anything they need help with. Sorry for taking rentals somewhere else Jake. Mistake on my end. Will be back soon!

I have been with this insurance agency for several years. In the past year or so, I have been mainly working with Janet Schulze. She has always been a great help and gets everything done in a very timely manner. My son has had a few accidents (only one his fault) :), and she has done great at getting the process taken care of with minimal hassle for me. Phone calls or email gets a quick response.

I have been with American Family for years, I haven’t had any issues with them, they are always extremely helpful. I call every month to pay my bill, and the ladies in the office are absolutely wonderful, especially Jan. She always goes above and beyond excellent service, and is very knowledgeable about insurance questions.

When I was with Jake at American Family Insurance, He was very helpful and things were handled in a timely manner. BUT.. Since I have been dealing with the office again. Jake never seems to be in. I was dealing with a lady named Jan. She always says the computers are acting funny today and needs to call me back. She has lost the quote she said she did. She said she needed to find it and call me back, she never called. Now dealing with her again, she was blaming me because things have not been done in a timely manner. When I proved to her that she always made excuses and nothing was ever done. She hung up on me and wouldnt answer the phone, very unprofessional for a insurance company.I do not think Jan is in the right business. If the job is to hard for her she should try a different field. Making excuses and blaming others for her faults are not professional. It makes it very hard to get things accomplished.

15 years Ive been with them, and I got my wife to put HER and her sons car, AND the home owners on it. So when we needed them after an accident they paid for our car, but refused to answer questions, tell us WHY the accident happened and NOW they are dumping us because we cost them too much money. Screw AMFam, and especially Jake in Hiawatha.
