Im a traveling nurse here from Florida thats looking for a safe nice place here in Iowa to call hm, so i came across The Avenue Apartments on my online search for an apartments. So I reached out to them to set up a appointment to look @ the place and fill out an application. Well when I get there Im greated with a female that just looked at me weird and made me feel very uncomfortable as I was being judged in some way, so she asked me how much I make n I told her. But she never gave me the opportunity to explain to her how my pay scale works & also that Im not able to work as many hours because Im starting bk nursing school soon.Before she handed me my money order back n told me I wouldnt qualify for the apartment in a nice nasty rude way. So I give it one start cause it honestly looks like a nice safe place to live.

Moved to the area from another state. We sent in our application over 2 weeks before even moving and still hadnt heard anything. We finally got the corrections back and waited another 3 weeks before getting even more corrections back. Everyone in the office was nice but very unresponsive and couldnt give us any updates on our application. We wasted a lot of time, energy, and money on hotels and a storage unit because we were told the application process takes an average of 72 hours. Very unprofessional and disappointed.

The management team has been very nice and thorough throughout the process. Jazmyne is great and very responsive. So far it has been great working with them

My roommate and I have had an amazing experience with everyone at these apartments. We got everything back in a timely manner and are moving in within the next week or two and can have asked for a better management team for our first apartments.

Tried getting an apt there but no one cared apparently cuz its been way over a month now since my application plus they never called me back. Probably not a good idea to rent from them if thats how it starts out huh maybe 1 star for the look of them but they could of had them all rented if only someone was doing their jobs!!

Very nice apartment I just went to a tour today and they were very nice they help us to fill out the paperwork and now we are waiting for the approvalThank you jasmineInass alhaj

When I first applied here, everything was a mess.I lost trust in management and didn’t think I’d get a call back about my application.Ever since Amanda took this place into her hands she has efficiently flipped this place in the correct path. She’s organized and caring. I’m happy to call this place home and excited that she is in charge and keeping things running.Thank you 😊

I was a truly looking forward to moving here we had a great walk through paper work and money in hand. Ive been bye 6 times called over 7 times and no response. I sold my home thinking I had this all lined up and now my family has know where to go. Im just beside myself & cant believe they dont have the decency to even call back.Sincerely The Single Mom That Now Has Know Home.

I can’t even take a warm shower and my air conditioner was broken when I moved in also under the sink was molded and filled with water MY BABY CANT EVEN TAKE A WARM BATH without having to put a pot on the stove and heat water up and the office never answer there phone!!!!

Had a rough start in the beginning with the OLD MANAGER! However, Amanda has been amazing! She took a bad situation and turned it around.She has been working over over over time trying to take care of everything. So happy shes in the office right now. Cant wait to be apart of the community! P.s ... she deserves a raise!

I have been contacted people for a LONG time and just saw someone got helped recently and it sucks to not be helped being I want to be part of the community. I have called and called but nothing. I even called the IN location to try to see what is going on. I want to move but have been given the run around it seems like with all the management changes. Hope something can happen soon!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

This place is horrendous along with majority of other people you get no updates on your application process and then once your told your in then they come back with another thing that’s wrong. It’s probably the most unprofessional and unorganized office management team I have ever seen. I don’t care how nice these apartments are good luck ever getting anything done with anyone

Very cool apartments

The management staff is trash, I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for 2 months now and I’ve only ever spoken to someone ONCE. You would think the leasing company would be eager to get tenants into their brand new building.

Having a heck of a time getting through the initial leasing process. Been at this for 2 months and still no answer.

Applied since April and have not heard back. Seems that they’re giving the runaround on the application approval and additionally it’s quite frustrating that a response takes several weeks before you hear that the application process is still pending. Very unprofessional. In state applications should not be a 5 month process.
