Dr. Basa is so professional and she takes her work so seriously. I trusted everything she was doing. She was thorough and took her time. I felt heard and Informed. I came in feeling old and not recognizing myself. When I left I felt 10 years younger and I could see “me” in the mirror again. I will go nowhere else! Expect to spend time in your first appointment. I consulted with Dr. Abando about possible surgery for a medical condition rather than elective surgery. He was clear, easy to talk to, unrushed, and a good listener. A decision about surgery is delayed until we have more information about a related condition, but on first impression I feel very confident that he will be a good choice, both for making the decision and for doing the surgery if that is the choice we make.

My appointment was at 8AM, I was checked in promptly by a courteous & professional young lady. Shortly after, I was taken to an exam room where was was asked medical history question by another courteous & professional young lady. The Doctor came in a few minutes later and we had a very pleasant consultation and explanation. Afterwards I was taken for some blood work and again the lady was excellent. A GREAT first experience!!

Very thorough from the first phone call to my greeting, to my examination. I was referred by my family M.D. for an examination. Natalie was very helpful on the first phone call and promptly emailed me the paperwork to fill out in the comfort of my own home. When I arrived the paperwork was done. Dr. Basa treated me professionally, thoroughly, quickly and with an amiable manner (Not what I have gotten in the past from surgeons). She kept me well informed with each step. I went to the office with one hernia. When she completed a once over, she had found two more that I had not picked up on yet. Truth be told, my PCP noticed the first one during a physical, and recommended Cedar Park Surgeons to me. I am pleased with the results. Laproscopic surgery has a much faster recovery time. First 24 hours were noticeable but ice packs and keeping movement minimized helped day two go much smoother.

Its been nearly a year since I had the VSG, Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. I feel a million times better, a constant work in progress and so happy I made this choice. Absolutely 0 regrets.I know that CPB underwent a few staff changes over the year but their level of care and commitment never dropped. I have no had a 12 month post op follow up but I am doing amazing and I know that they are just a phone call away! Theyre still accommodating, kind, knowledgeable and everything you would expect from a surgical office.I always recommend this practice to my friends, colleagues and just about anyone who is considering changing their life, you will not be disappointed.
