I have using Rick’s for about 8 years now. The quality and service has always been top notch at half the price of other cleaners. I have dry cleaners closer to my home but I prefer to drive all the way to Rick’s to get it done right and done in 24 hours in most cases and regardless….always less expensive than the other guys.

Wow—so unprofessional. There’s a sign that encourages you to call upon arrival to have your garmets brought out to the vehicle. The lady was so rude. We were inconveniencing her in a major way—with nobody there I guess she was napping or watching TV. She argued with me condescendingly, then asking “well are you here.” Yes, I was parked directly in front. I had already opened the back door so as to not have to interact face to face, but instead of placing it in the back as they usually do, she stood by the door and forced me to get out again, and take it directly from her, where she was rude again just as she had been on the phone. We won’t be back.

Started using Rick’s Cleaners at the South Lamar location and was glad to find that they had a location in Cedar Park. When we moved to Leander. The speed and quality of service is great.

I’ve been going for months now. I love that they clip the collars so they don’t bend out. The reason it isn’t a 5 is because the customer service friendliness isn’t great and I had one shirt come back more crushed that I got it. I also lost a button. It was sewed back on without me asking but doesn’t match the other buttons.

I love taking my clothes and bedding there. I have a couple special pieces and Jessica is just super at remembering before I even say anything and she always pulls my account up before I say my name too! She is kind, friendly, and just some sunshine while taking laundry in which is always nice to have that level of customer service!

Dropped off 14 items was told they would be back the next afternoon after 5. So when I go to pick my items up half of them where there and ready was told my other half was dropped off at the wrong store, in which I was told I could go pick them up which is 45 minutes away from my house. Call on the next need and my stuff still isn’t at the store.. I will not be going back here every again. And while in the store another man was in there also about his pants that was missing in which he stated he had came the day before and was told they would be ready the next day poor customer service. I have call the customer service number 3 times and no answer or call back

Awesome place... I went to five cleaners ... to clean a lightly soiled coat...one was out of business, one was closed and the other three prices ranged from $15 to $20. I tried Ricks as my last place and they said it would be $3.39 ... I thought she was pulling my leg .... it was true....everyone was friendly ... and the garment came back in excellent condition

This should be a 0 or MINUS 1 review! Dropped off 2 dresses on June 7 for dry cleaning, one of which is brand NEW. Went last week to pick up my dress and no one can account for it. Called today June 20 (13 days later), and I am being told its still not back from the plant. I told the clerk to call the plant and find out where my dress is. She hung up on me. I called back from a different number and she answered and told me the plant is not answering their phone and basically there is nothing we can do but wait till the dress comes. I told the clerk that is not good enough and she needs to get a hold of her manager. She hung up on me AGAIN. I called right back and now she is not answering the phone. What kind of business is this? Of course this is going to be reported to the appropriate officials, BBB and anyone else who can take corrective action. Did I mention my dress is brand new?

Carol is extremely sweet, and diligent. This is a great location. My family has been customers of Ricks in Austin for over 20 years. We bought a place in Cedar Park. I was worried about not getting the same quality of service. Very impressed with the extra steps she takes. I will continue to use Ricks services for years to come. I can tell. Thank you Carol!

I love this place. Staff is always happy and helpful. Service is always quick and they always have a smile on there face an have a great personality. Clothes are alway super clean, neat and organize. Employees always say Please and Thank You and are very well respectful. I wouldnt recommend any other place because this place does a great job at getting the job done right and they will always have my business!

I had all the buttons ripped off a nice, expensive, button-down shirt. When we asked about it, we were met with confusion (as opposed to contrition) and told that they would run it through again. When we went back to get the shirt, there were still no buttons on it.They claim to not be responsible for anything they mess up on your clothes so proceed with caution. My family has been going here for years, its a shame it has to end this way but I will not be coming back.

Very nice and quick service. I wasnt sure what to do with my shirts and they straightened me out (sorry for the pun). They sent me a text to let me know when my dry cleaning was done and I picked it up next day. Pretty cool, Ricks.... Pretty cool.

The absolute worse dry cleaning experience ever! Take this as a warning and RUNNNN if you value your clothes and rely on them for your job. While I was leaving clothes there to be dry cleaned and heavily starched, two people ahead of me were turned away for their clothes not being ready as scheduled by the store. Being in an industry that requires solid customer service, I was very understanding at the get-go. I was very particular in requesting heavy starch for a sharp crisp appearance, I mentioned this four times. After I left and looking at my receipt, I noticed it didnt specify heavy starch, so when I woke in the morning, I called and spoke to an employee and I mentioned the receipt didnt specify heavy starch. She said, I just checked the system and it says heavy starch, dont worry, the receipts dont specify that, just our computers. I felt relieved that the $40 I paid for service was spent well. I went to pick up my shirts after receiving a text notification they were ready. When I picked them up, they werent heavily starched, the employee stated they were just pressed with an iron and no starch. I mentioned the repeated request I made initially, the follow up call in the morning and went ahead and still treated them kindly and just said please just heavily starch the shirts and notify me when they are ready. Three days passed and my wife called for a status and the employee who answered said, weve barely sent them in to be cared for, they sat here because the employee who took in the shirts a second time wasnt sure how to process the order. My wife said, please have them ready for tomorrow, it is urgent for my husbands business attire. It took two more days and they finally notified her they were ready for pick up. When I arrived home tonight, the shirts were in worse condition than I dropped them off in. Just a warning to future prospects considering using Ricks Cleaners.

I was told a price for my wedding dress to be cleaned and preserved and that it would all be done in house and be ready in two weeks, I didnt hear anything from them ao I called, my dress hadnt even be touched and they claimed they tried calling me multiple times, never heard from them and I was very upset that nothing had be done and I was only offered a small discount after being lied to! After they saw my orginal review, they contacted me via email and offered to do the preservation for free! I just got my dress back yesterday and I am pleased with the results!

I had worked here for a little bit coming from a different location. Carol is the manager here she’s an extremely rude person and constantly talked down on customers when they left and once made a comment on the weight of a customer to me to reference the food i was eating and how she would never eat such carbs. She constantly be littled me and the other employees and i ended up getting fired, but she had told everyone i quit and turned in my key which wasn’t true — therefore she took me off the schedule and that was it, tried contacting Ian and Cheryl who are the bosses and no reply’s - nothing. All of the employees complained about how carol treated people, nothing was done, i was just taken off work so the issue would be shoved under the rug so that they can continue hiring people over and over because nobody wants to be in a negative work environment. The business itself is okay, and whenever there was a mess up carol could never take the blame and blame one of us or say it was the plant who did it. I used to work for sylvia at the jollyville location she’s an amazing manager , she cares for her customers i highly recommend switching to that location rather than this cedar park location. I haven’t had any of the bosses tell me anything, no one said i was fired to my face, i was blatantly ignored when i tried calling anyone or texting about my job status. Carol repeatedly twisted my actions and made me seem like the bad guy when i addressed her being rude to me in front of customers and being rude in general. Don’t even know if i’m getting my last check. It’s unfortunate i had to write this review but i haven’t had a boss ignore all communication and not professionally tell me that i am no longer needed. It was betrayed like i quit and didn’t show up to work but that wasn’t near the case at all but no one wanted to answer to even hear my side.Update - The boss finally replied to me after i made a review saying i violated company policy which isn’t factual, i had texted the company saying i wasn’t able to come in and carol used that as her excuse to fire me and say that i did not notify her that i couldn’t come in, which i told her at 6am that day (which i have proof of text) the fact of the matter is she had told everyone I had quit with no proof- she lied . I was ignored and not contacted about my check or anything matter of fact- not even my uniform which i would’ve gladly turned in if i was properly noticed on the opinions/official statements of the final decision of my job status , It’s an a shame because i truly respected the work effort and job done at the company itself up until carol abused the fact she was a manager and a RETIRED TEACHER , in which i am 20 but she treated me like a child and told me to “shush up “ at one point. sylvia at least gave me the respect as a grown women and treated me like one, she’s an extremely well rounded manger and knows how to train / maintain a manager job unlike carol who once said she was not suppose to train an employee which that was one of the main jobs of her. she expected me and veronica to teach the new employee unlike the manager itself. i can gladly have 3+ employees back me up on any allegations she(carol) has made. Thank you . I fully respect me getting fired on breaking the rules but unfortunately this time around this is BEYOND unjust and unprofessional

Dropped off two suits and two shirts and when I picked them both up the shirts were worse than when I dropped them off and now I have to attend my son’s funeral in wrinkled shirts thank you very much Rick cleaners

If you advertise being open until 5 pm, then you really shouldnt inconvenience your customers by closing out several minutes early, leaving the door unlocked and then asking a customer TWICE if theyre Sure about the time. I actually pulled out my phone and showed her, to which she responded that shed already cashed out and reconciled the accounts.

Ricks Cleaners lost a $125.00 plus shirt that was less than 15 months old and worn only about 6 times. They sent me a check for only $37.00, which was ridiculous. I was asking for $50.00 to 60.00, which I felt was fair, considering the age of the shirt and the few times I had worn it. When I called Celeste King and told her I was unhappy with the settlement, she was very nonchalant about the whole issue, and didn’t make any attempt to correct the issue. I will never do business with Ricks Cleaners again, and do not recommend them.

You get what you pay for at Ricks. For $2.59 you will get your garment back with deodorant still on it, reeking of cigarettes. Someone at this location smokes in the back with the clothes, you can smell it when you walk in. (Not smart for a cleaners!) I wont be back...
