I called ahead to confirm they had availability and that they could cut the style I was looking for. The barber confirmed he could see me and confirmed he could cut the style I wanted. As soon as I walked in I was refused service for being a woman. I don’t receive a traditional woman’s cut, I receive a traditional men’s cut that they already told me they do. Instead of telling me in advance over the phone, I drove there only to be turned away. And not in the most friendly manner either. Not even an apology for misunderstanding...just an “I don’t do that.”

I will not go to another shop to get my hair cut anymore. Rick never fails to make a pleasant atmosphere and makes it his goal to know as many names as possible. It feels good to be recognised in as little an activity as getting a haircut.

The absolute best flattop haircut I have had since way before my tours in Vietnam. First come, first served is fine for locals but an appointment would be great if you live 20 miles away.
