These guys are awesome. They came out because my dishwasher wouldnt start and quickly diagnosed that something was stuck in the drain pump. After that item was removed, the dishwasher worked great. But that wasnt all. They mentioned the dishwasher was sitting loose under the counter and asked if Id like to have it properly mounted. I agreed and that was done in about 5 minutes. I also mentioned my garbage disposal wasnt working and they fixed that in about 5 minutes too!After all was fixed, they charged me less than what a lot of companies charge just to show up at your house. Highly recommended!

Richard responded quickly to my call for help and showed up on time. He did his best to diagnose and fix the problem and his rates for the work were extremely reasonable. He had to order the parts, but he did so that day and they came early the next week...just a few days later. When the parts arrived he called, scheduled the repair service, showed up on time, did it quickly and even followed up. Unfortunately, the repair didnt fix the issue and it ended up being something outside his expertise. He recommended someone that could fix the issue and refunded our money without me asking or questioning. He was excellent to work with. He is caring and he does solid work. I was upset his repair didnt fix my situation, but that wasnt his fault and I would hire Richard and his team for any repairs going forward. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

I called Richard this morning because my dishwasher was installed incorrectly. He FaceTime me, assessed that it was a simple oversight for a disposal plug to the dishwasher hose and it was fixed instantly. Didn’t charge me at all and was super professional. Richard, the owner, is by far the most professional, trustworthy and effective appliance repairman I have ever encountered. He arrived to fix our front loading Maytag washer precisely when he promised, opened it and diagnosed the problems, then gave us a hard quote of an extremely fair price for the repair -- parts and labor. He, once again, returned precisely when promised the next day with new parts for the actual repair, and guaranteed the repair against a parts refund if his work did not fix the trouble. (It did.) He is pleasant and personable to be around and the only repairman Ill ever call when any of our other many large appliances give trouble. Cant recommend him highly enough!

He went the extra mile to order and pickup, deliver and install new water filter for refrigerator after the major work was completed at no additional charge. Richard was very professional and arrived in the time frame that was set. He came to clean out our dryer vent and was in and out in under an hour. Cleaned his mess and put everything back as is was. Would def use him again for other services. His prices are reasonable 135$ to clean vent and replace dryer hose (I was quoted over 300$ for same services at other companies. )

So in the midst of the worst set of storms in Texas history, the constant on/off of power has caused both of our refrigerator/freezers to stop getting cold. We were forced to empty them and place everything outside in freezing temperatures as we weighed our options for repair or replacement. Weighing in the decision is the likelihood of losing many many 100s of dollars in spoiled food, and the prospect of not having a refrigerator or freezer for quite some time.We had called around trying to find suitable replacements and learned that the quickest we would get a refrigerator would be 2 weeks, if not longer. On searching google and Yelp I came across Proud Appliance & Dryer Services and made a call. Richard, the owner, was actually out servicing other outages and picked up the call. He said he didnt know when he could get here but would call when he was in the area. It was just a few hours when he called back and said he could come by and troubleshoot the issues.To properly set the stage for why this is impressive, the roads are still fully iced over. Businesses remain closed because travel is so dangerous, and yet Richard is out servicing customers because he knows hes needed. He showed up within hours and diagnosed the issues. He had the parts for one of them with him and got it working. He diagnosed the issue of the second one and called the owner of the supply house at his home (as his business isnt open) and confirmed that the part for the other refrigerator is available for when the supply house reopens (hopefully tomorrow).Oh, and while he was onsite fixing our refrigerators he heard our LOUD dishwasher and took it apart and fixed something had come loose (without charge and without being asked)If you are looking for true customer service from a locally owned and owner-operated appliance repair service, call Richard. Richard was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dryer stopped working he was able to diagnose and repair within one hour. Price was fair. I contacted him Tuesday and was able to get an appointment scheduled for the next day. Highly recommend him he also fixes other appliances. I will definitely be using him again in the future for any repairs needed.
