So I ordered balloons for my daughters 7th b day. And when I picked them up. All ribbon strings were white 😟🤨. Like do u not have common sense to put colors that match the balloon pattern. Like really. Or call and ask me what colors. I mean they do take your number down. But the lady at counter when I made balloon order never asked what colors I wanted. Not great customer service. Need to work on asking customers in store or call. I’m so disappointed

The staff was very busy at my time of service, yet they made sure everyone was served. The balloons made a hit for my daughter. The arrangement was beautiful. Thank you for being there during this time.

Its decent, it seems like its well organized and clean. The last time I went they were out of stock out of many birthday balloon bouquets so I had like 2 choices and that was it. The line moved pretty fast but the lady at the register didnt seem very friendly. She also took a while to blow up the balloons. It was necessarily a bad experience but it could of been better.

So what do you need for your party? Go to party city. Balloons? They probably got the exact balloon you want.

Please hire people to assist customers, one employee to handle balloons, and check out customers? There is always the 30 miniute wait to check out, this is at every party city I visit! And please throw away all that old candy from covid!

Made shopping for a work party fun

1st time in here and the cashier is swamped! I’ve been standing here 10 mins while she counts balloons, answer the phone and get on the walkie talkie to tell another employee to help the person on the phone… This is not how I wanted my morning to go! Why isn’t there someone else helping her?

Product was marked as $16.99 and manager would not give it to us for that. He said it was $19.99. He changed tag. I won’t shop there again. I’m taking back the item. I can find a piñata anywhere.

Excellent service! I initially visited the nearby Wheatland Rd location in search of a 21 balloon. That store had the balloon but no helium. I called ahead to this location and confirmed that they had helium. I arrived to find that they didnt have the single 21 balloon that was at Wheatland. The only other option was to purchase a separate 2 and 1 for $13 more. I spoke with the manager about the issue and he offered a great alternative solution. The female cashier also offered fast advice and pleasant conversation during checkout although the store was very busy.Since its Easter Eve, most stores will not reopen until Monday. So, the top-notch service I received was a save for my sons 21st birthday celebration tomorrow.Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Party City was great!! I ordered 2 beautiful balloon displays on two consecutive days and the balloons were just as I ordered & were ready when I ordered. I did Curbside pickup, so I didnt even hv to go in. They brought them to the car, bagged, and ready to go. I will definitely be back & will order again!!

Only 1 register open with 2 employee helping 1 individual pick out balloons. I asked if they could open another register i was told there was only 1 available. After waiting for about 10 minutes I simply left the items I was going to purchase and walked out. I can find many other stores that will gladly wait on their customers.Wont be going back.

Party city was a great go to for my daughters Sweet 16. She loved the balloons and card. I was in and out in no time.

I paid for and placed an online balloon bouquet delivery order today, Sun, Nov. 8, 2020 for my nieces 18th birthday at 1:47 pm. The order was supposed to be delivered today between 5-6 pm. No order received! I received an email at 6:35 pm saying that my order had been shipped and would be arriving at my doorstep very soon. Its 8:41 pm and my order still hasnt arrived! REFUND!!! Just Terrible!!!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Went in and found a piñata & asked an employee for help getting it down. She said there’s only two of us, referring to her and the other cashier. Nobody else was in line though. We then waited and waited. After awhile we just decided to leave. Target has better and cheaper piñatas. Definitely go to target.

Their curbside option is horrible it’s 3 different times and all times had an excessive amount of wait time. Even if you call they will not answer your call until they get the line of people down in the store. Should be 1st come 1st serve

I paid for a bouquet of balloons on a Thursday for a Friday afternoon pickup. There was a line of about 25 people needing to purchase items. I was told I could not just pick up my balloons but would have to get in the line. Good customer service would be to ask if there was anyone in line just there to pick up a balloon order or at least have a separate area for balloon pickup. This is totally ridiculous.

It was my first time visiting this location. Jamie was great. She was working the register, helping customers, and greeting everyone witha smile.

The customer service was exceptional! There are a lot of selections available.

Minimal staff, low selection of items and balloon helium lasted 5 hours before starting to drop.

Always friendly and very helpful with finding items for party. The staff helps me coordinate my party ideas😀. However the last time I visit the store I was followed around from isle to isle as if I was a thief. I was Disturbed bc I shop here quite often enough for the staff to recognize me. I felt bad.

Lots of items to go through for your party. You can pretty much find any theme here for your party that you desire. This location when I visited seemed really unorganized. Probably because the employees are young and really do not care. Do not come here expecting over the top customer service. You can get balloons here also, but make sure you order ahead of time. Come early because they may not get them filled when they say the balloons will be ready. Pretty clean floors, and bathroom

It was overrun with shipping boxes and empty racks. The six employees that were in when we went birthday shopping all wanted to blow up balloons instead of answer questions or run an additional register with the twenty or so patrons waiting in line. They didnt seem to know much about their stock or its availability as well. The single cashier was a younger lady with no help and a long line of anxious patrons. The others seem to just giggle at he poor girl and continue filling balloons for their show wall. Makes me miss the days of stores like the Barefoot Mailman. Through it was seasonal and awkwardly named, they took care of their location, their patrons and most importantly their own.

They dont do curbside pick-up like they say they do. I kept calling and the line kept busy.

Party City is a really nice store if youre looking for something for a specific type of party. If youre looking to go old-school with the 70s, the twenties, the 80s, or current style, Party City is the store for you. The prices are moderate some items can be really cheap when it comes to accessories but if you want to do the full outfit then the price begins to be a little bit more. You can also buy balloons for birthdays and all types of party items to celebrate.

So disappointed. I tried to return a Halloween item and was rejected because it was within 7 days of/before the holiday. The sad thing is, I bought it 7 days before the holiday and there were absolutely no signs stating all sales final or no returns. Thats poor business.

Good coupons

After all our searching for a simple walking cane with a hooked top, we found not one, but two viable options at this location. One of wood and one of plastic. We needed this for a cosplay we were doing that weekend. This location became a life saver, for us. Thank you so so much.

Good variety of items, however they always seem to hire high school kids who have no desire to work and it shows off in their lack of customer service.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. Was looking for a beret and the young lady knew right where they were. They also give military discount for us vets/retirees out there.

Customer service at this store is extremely poor. We walked the aisles looking for assistance and could not find anyone. We went to the checkout counter and four employees were there, only one was actually checking anyone out. Two others walked away before we could ask for help, almost like they were avoiding us. The other just stood there looking around. When the cashier got to us she started ringing us up. We asked our question and she didnt know the answer. She finally asked the other employee and he called back to ask. He said the person on the other headset was busy but will check when she finished printing something. The cashier handed me my bag and receipt and said, have a good day. We waited a minute and both just started at us. No chance we were going to get the help we asked for at that store.

I’ve walked in here about twice for some random props and on both visits the store has been clean and the employees have been very friendly and helpful.

This store would be so much better without Amber behind that counter. She has the worse BRF (google it) I have ever seen. After each customer she helps she talks about a previous one on how overly dramatic they are. I mean if you’re gonna be in the public eye you gotta fake it till you make it. She could not even do that. I mean people go in to buy stuff and Amber is a major b to ask anything of. Been in here in the morning and at night and yet she has the same horrible attitude. The only reason this place still has 3 stars because the selection of items is quite a variety of things you will need or want. Management needs to train customer service and upkeep in the store. I have been here so many times and every time that I come in there is something wrong today I came in to get balloons and they have no helium, on a previous occasion i needed just one balloon and the manager would not sell it to me because they did not have enough staff to fill up the balloons. Save your time go somewhere else

This place is expensive. I found the same products at the Dollar Tree and Walmart for less. Their candy aisle is a blast though! You can buy individual candies, instead of a bag, so you can customize your selection for parties with themes or colors. They also stopped carrying Hannukah decorations last year. ):

Jusr advised of a nationwide helium shortage so I might not be ablento have balloons filled for my 5 y.o.s party....BUT.... they can conveniently sell me a self serve tank for $50.00

I was looking for a particular item that I saw online and at first I was told that they didnt have it without bothering to look for it. Finally a manager came to the front of the store and searchef for the item in the computer. It turns out what I was looking for was in the store but was not put on the shelves yet. So thumbs down to the cashier and the person that was contacted over the walkie talkie for not even bothering to look. Although I really wanted the item, I will purchase it elsewhere. I will not give my money to an establishment who provides bad customer service. I do however thank the employee who put forth the effort to help me out!

For clarification, this review is for the Cedar Hill Store on i-35 and pleasant run... I asked for assistance and Im still waiting...that is all.

I arrived at exactly 8:10 and the doors were already locked when clearly on there front door it says saturdays 8:30am to 830 pm. As a few people got out the door I had the opportunity to ask one employee if I could just get one balloon his response was let me ask my manger and will get back to you. But never came back with the response, while we waited outside the door, yet they could clearly see us but never came back. Very unprofessional. If you guys close before 8:30 change your signs. Thats false advertising.

Party was rocking a bit too hard

I called the store spoke to a man I told him I had gone on line and found a particular candy I am looking for. According to this guy they had 8 packages in the store. I asked him to put back 4 for me he said they needed to be picked up today or they would put them back on the shelf. I told him my husband was on his way to pick them up. I described my husband to this man. When my husband got there the man said they were still on the shelf so he went to the shelf to get them and and there were only two there, when my husband asked he said the computer shows 8. He wasted our time, and gas to go to the store. Very disappointed.

Wasnt the best experience ...the millennial kid behind the counter was pretty engrossed in his cell phone and didnt know what kind of inventory the store had or where to find anything or what the prices were. He seemed very uninformed and could care less about being there. I guess thats to be expected with a millennial though...

For the uninitiated, there is a process to getting balloons, but the young staff is friendly with directing you, if you have questions. Dont forget to ask for a balloon bag to get them home ($1 additional)!
