Great place, decent amount of workout equipment to suit your needs, good indoor track and basketball court. As well as plenty of classes that are free or you can pay for. Only downside is that it often gets busy in the weight room leaving waits for certain equipment. And some of the free weights and certain machines are very old or in questionable condition

Small and often very crowded on the sunny and hot weekend days but a very nice water park that offers something for everyone from toddlers to full grown adults. My family always has a great time when we go there.

Please do not waste your time or money at this place. My brothers and I went to play basketball here and while putting our shoes on we pulled masks down to and were just talking. Immediately an employee started raising her voice at us and threatened to call the police for not having them up. We calmly put them on. At no point were we disrespectful to her, we kept going about our business only to be screamed at shortly after the first time for the exact same thing (another cops threat as well). Again we were not purposely trying to cause problems. Do not get me wrong, we have no trouble complying but being rude and disrespectful for no reason is not the way to go about things we when speaking to a customer. We will never be going to back. Please take your business somewhere worth your money where you don’t have to deal with being screamed at for no reason. I suggest FIT Cedar Falls or the Cedar Valley Sportsplex.

The employees are so good at their jobs. Every class Ive taken has been an excellent and thorough workout. Lots of machines and weights and space, and the rates are the best around

Clean facility, friendly staff and masks are mandated.

Would be sweet if the new app would allow my phone to swipe me in at the front desk. Carrying cards for a family of seven is cumbersome. A very nice place to take my kids to play racquetball and basketball. Offers many more sport and workout opportunities as well. A little pricey for me being an out of towner!

Great staff, good amount of free weights and machines. Sauna, steam room, showers. Running track and a couple gyms.

This post is more regarding the Sturgis Falls 5k. The registration was a breeze inside, and it seems to be a nice set up from what I saw.

Great place to workout, lots of options, nice sauna but needs a brighter light & day price could be a bit lower if your only going to be there for a couple hrs.

The gym is rather dated, but still works. If you want pretty, new stuff, go the the Sportsplex. But at the Rec, thats where youll find some of the better pickup basketball games

I would give it 5 stars except for the fat guy who farts on the bike. I respect the effort but he dropped a smoker the last time that reeked so bad my eyes burned.

Excellent gym, very small/tight locker room

Economical option for Cedar Falls residents with a quality staff, place can sometimes get busy on the courts and treadmills but still worth the price of admission. The locker room facilities are cramped and usually dirty.

I come here to bring my 2 year old son for the pop up park they set up Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:00 AM. It wont be available this years 2017 till January 10th
