This is by far the worst managed business in the area they caused a problem then they wanted more money to fix the issue they caused while trying to figure the issue out , then after I called cooperate they said we will refund 300 dollars then called my wife back and wouldnt return a call to me because she is just agreeable and doesnt want problem s ., she was 4 lane highway the 3rd time they said.its fixed I just died so I paid than 300 bucks for the multiple tows , after breaking down on a 95 degree day will 3 grandchildren all under age of 5 in the car due to there poor technical skills they admitted to not having a clue what issue I s ,So bottom line is if u have any doubts about this place go with your gut feeling and spend money elsewhere spend money on d.i.y. how to .. because u would have more knowledge then the management at the cedar falls location.

Just had brakes replaced in a timely manner. Plus I have purchased tires there in the past that have given me excellent service. Will do business there again.

I take all my vehicles to Tandem for their wheel alignments. Several (10 plus) years ago, they were doing an alignment and during the initial assessment, thought it may need some suspension components replaced. I thought, here we go, typical repair shop wanting to sell me some unnecessary parts. In the end, they were able to complete the alignment, without replacing any components. So from that point on, Ive always appreciated their honesty and quality work.

Tandem is my new place to go for maintenance on my car. I had a small emergency with my tires a while ago and they squeezed me in and took care of me! A while later I needed my oil change so I booked an appointment online which was super convenient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! These guys are awesome and I completely recommend them.

Daughter goes to school in Iowa City and when she came home for the summer to Cedar Falls, car had a huge oil leak. Turns out where she got an oil change, they put a Honda filter on a Lexus. Tandem showed me the filter, change the oil filter and topped off the oil. Totally honest people there. Been going there for 10 years, will continue for 10 more.

Came In for simple oil change and tire rotation, and had them check my service. I got there right on my schedule appoint and waited for my truck. Staff was very friendly (like always) and the got to work on my truck immediately and was done in a timely fashion.

A few years ago, my then wife was to take a long trip out of town for a few days and I wanted to put new tires on her car - they were cupped and gave a very rough ride...I went to Smittys Tires and Appliance (now out of business, perhaps because of lousy customer service??) - an old Navy pal owned the business, so naturally I had always done business there....I explained that she needed the car the next day and I wanted a full set of tires...the manager said they couldnt possibly do it until the following Tuesday...so I just randomly took it to Tandem...they took care of it right away, no problem...so Ive been a big fan of Tandem ever since...I do all of my business there - they appreciate and value customer loyalty...I can highly recommend them!

I have been going to Tandem for roughly 5 years now, and I have never had a negative experience. I have always found that they have been fair and honest in their suggestions and pricing. After having worked with other companies in the past that jack up the pricing and take hours to complete a task, Tandem gives me the price they quote and Im always out in an hour tops when I have a basic service.

I dropped a tire off to be replaced and when I picked it up I asked if they would be able to put the wheel back on. The guy asked if I would be able to leave my vehicle there which I was unable to do. This would have literally taken two minutes. I fell after spending $200 at your business the least they could have done was remount my wheel. Even if a bay wasn’t open you still could have brought out a jack out to the parking lot to put the tire back on. I won’t be coming back to your business and word of mouth goes a long way.

Ive been going to Tandem Tire for probably almost a decade now. Theyve done work for me on multiple vehicles over the years, a whole host of different repairs. You name it and theyve probably fixed it for me.I keep coming back to Tandem because they are seriously straight shooters when it comes to costs. I dont believe theyve ever once overcharged me or told me I needed a repair that I didnt, like a lot of mechanics will do. They dont try to pull any fast ones on you.There have even been times when say, I maybe needed a little rust ground out of a trailer hitch. I believe his name is Nick, the manager, had me come right on in, stopped what he was doing, ground it down for me, and told me there was no charge and to have a good day. Or the time they told me I could come pick up my car after the shop was closed and just come in and pay them the next day. Theyre just good, helpful mechanics over there.Fully recommend Tandem for your next repair.

Nick and the guys at Tandem went above and beyond when my car overheated and left me stranded without a car. I dropped the car off over the weekend with a note describing the overheating problem. Even though they had a full schedule, they squeezed it in on Monday and got me back on the road the same day. I was terrified I was going to get that call that said my engine was toast or that it would cost a lot of money to have it fixed. They did the diagnostics and added coolant and only charged me a few bucks for a new radiator cap. Ive had the car back for a couple of days and havent had any issues with it overheating. I had started looking for a different car expecting the worst but they gave me some breathing room and I am grateful for their help.

I have taken my car to Tandem Tire and Auto service for oil changes and tires. Recently, my air conditioning was not working. It was determined to be the compressor. They did a great job fixing the air conditioning. Then my car was not starting, and I had tried jumper cables still nothing. I called Tandem and had it towed there. They determined it was the chip in my key that was bad. They went above and beyond to get replacement keys and programming the new keys. The management staff Nick and Preston did an excellent job informing me of what was going on with my car and when it would be ready.

I called other shops . They told me i had to schedule an appointment for a dragging heat shield. When i called tandem they said i could bring it in and theyd look when a bay became available.A dragging heat shield wasnt that big of deal. Just annoying to hear while driving. I originally thought my brakes needed changed.Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. Thank for taking the 5 min to take it off.A++I will definitely keep this shop in mind for any future repairs. hubby generally does the work on my car. Will be calling to get my sons suv worked on.
