Bryce was amazing. He took on a job that no one else was willing to take on. We paid another company with no results. We had a very aggressive bee issue .Even resulted in a death of a dog. Bryce went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of. Thanks

He came out to see if we had termites. He was honest and very friendly. We did not have termites. It was an old infestation.

A family of 5 squirrels moved into our yard and destroyed our garden and flowers. Smart Pest brought out harmless traps to catch the squirrels and re-release them into the wilderness. As each squirrel was caught either Bryce or one of his team members would come and collect them until all 5 was caught which took some time. We would like to thank Bryce and his hard working team for a great job.

Weve been using Smart Pest Control since 2013, and have always had great experiences with Bryce and his team. Were signed up for their quarterly service, but any time in between when weve had pest problems, theyve come to our house quickly and taken care of them. Issues ranging from wasp nests to ants to rodent prevention (we live next to a farm and in five years have never had one in the house), theyve been able to take care of for us. Recently we started getting a lot of red ants on our porch and front walkway and traced them to some ant hills on a neighboring lot. With permission from the owner, Bryce treated the hills so they wouldnt continue to expand into our yard. Our experience is that hes always willing to go above and beyond to make sure were taken care of and satisfied. I highly recommend Smart Termite and Pest Control.

The worst company! Predatory! I asked for a termite inspection and I got a sales call. When I told them I didnt want to pay their exorbitant amount of money for nothing they wanted to charge me $100 for showing up. Ridiculous!Edit apparently this review was too short and not clear to the owner of the company so I shall expound. First a clarification, my insurance man told me that if you have termites this company has the solution. My experience with them says that instead of being happy with the limited number of people in Cedar City that needs their service they are trying to expand their business by selling termite treatments to people just in case.I purchased my home several years ago and I noticed before purchasing some old termite damage on a garage door. The damage was minor and there were no termites to be found. Fast forward to this year, my insurance man said it would be a good idea to have an inspection done anyway just to be sure. So I called this company to arrange it. Their salesman came out. I showed him the old damage and told him that I wanted him to do an inspection to make sure there were no current termites. He stood there and started to explain to me how my insurance company would not pay for termite damage and then he broke into a sales pitch how I should spend thousands of dollars with them treating for termites. He did not walk around the property he did not go inside the house he did not look anywhere other than the one spot I showed him, which was many years old without termites. I told him I wanted an inspection not a sales call and I was not interested in treating something that did not exist. When I received a bill from the company I sent them an email explaining what happened. Their resolution was to tell me they would send another person out.Based on my experience with the first guy I told the lady that I did not want them back at my home and that I would call one of their competitors for an inspection if I decided it was necessary. I got another phone call requesting a payment for their visit I explained again that I did not get an inspection I got a sales call and I was not going to to pay. And then another one..... By the last one I was so angry that I yelled at the lady that called me requesting a credit card. Finally the owner called me and apologized for my experience and agreed to delete my bill. After he saw my one-star review, which I wrote because of being harassed for something I didnt receive, he then called me again and told me he was not going to delete my bill unless I took my one-star review off. Did I mention predatory?! He threatened me!!! As you can probably imagine I didnt take that very well. And hence my response to his response to my one-star review. According to my insurance agent who intervened the owner has again agreed to delete my bill.

**May 2021 UPDATE**My service tech, Mr. Reeves, was prompt, had a professional appearance, was polite and knowledgeable. He did not shilly-shally around and the moment he got out of his service vehicle, he properly addressed the regular business at hand and asked if I had any special or new concerns. Really a well done service visit, thank you!Eric did a great job! Thank you for sending him out! He treated our seasonal bug problem and did a thorough application! Good hire!

This pest control business was not able to rid my house of the mice and pests. When we moved in we had destruction to our house, due to mice. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

They will bill you with no service being done but they will refund your money if you let them know. And then just show up out of the clear blue and tell your and tell your tenant says routine without even contacting you after you told them contact me before going over

Bryce and his capable team are superbly knowledgeable and dont hesitate to address any pest and termite questions or actual issues. They use cutting edge materials that are safe for my pets. Bryce has personally been willing to do the dirty work on my property and knows what I was up against with a active termite problem discovered during renovation. Couldnt ask for better customer service. I consider Bryce and his great team to be extended family.

Both for myself, and my sister, this company has been nothing but a hassle. They showed up randomly, unannounced, on multiple occasions at my house to the point that we cancelled our service with them. They came to my sisters house while she was out of the country, after she had called them, emailed, and texted that she wanted the service rescheduled this time. When she talked to the owner, she was told that according to the agreement, the homeowner is not required to be home for the service to happen, even though she had requested through multiple lines of communication that they reschedule the service for this quarter. She has now cancelled services with them as well.Needless to say, due to the lack of responsiveness and communication, I would recommend staying away from this company until they get it together.

I have been solicited and hard sold by several imitators over that past three years attempting to win over my business. It never fails that the person attempting to get me to change cannot even answer simple questions about what types of bugs are prevalent to the Cedar City area. Bryce as well as his field staff who do the work are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what they are doing, what products they are using, and how they work. I will be loyal to Smart Pest Control for as long as they are in business. Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough with their work. What more can you ask for?

Bryce was very thorough in conducting a termite inspection on our house. He had lots of pictures and information on how the termites that were found were moving toward the house. Smart Pest Control did a fantastic job completing the intense treatment and keeping the property in tact as they conducted it. They also have a warranty that lasts 5 years longer than every where else I contacted. They were great to work with, I would highly recommend! And get a termite inspection, they are all over around here!

We had lots of flies for months, I tried everything to kill them, I couldn’t get rid of them, it drove me nuts, Smart Pest control came over to my house and took care of it, NO more flies!!! Very impressed! I called SMART pest control for a termite inspection. First he asked me if I had any concerns. When I showed him the area I was concerned about he told me that it was not termite damage but assured me he could take care of it. He then asked if I wanted to continue with the inspection.I’m glad I did. He walked me around my property and educated me about termites and the conditions they like. He also taught me simple things I could do around my home to prevent them.We did find termites. When he found them he made sure that I there and could see them. The infestation is notbad yet, so i’m happy we could nip this in the bud.

After leaving a home after we service it I made the comment to Bryce that if all customer were that nice and easy to deal with work would be great. I was having daily spiders in my house so I called Smart pest controll. Their prices were very reasonable and they were able to come out and spray the same day. I haven’t seen a spider since. I would highly recommend them.

I found them to be very knowledgeable they came when they said they would they did cancel once due to the weather and were able to professionally explain to me that spraying for my insects while its raining is not effective and they were able to work out the best time to come and see me and get my stuff taken care of I really recommend them to anyone needing work done and they really do work around your schedule the best fits you
