I have had the best experience at Retro Fitness. I love the cardio machines, weight machines, and the smoothies bar. I’m hoping to try some of their classes soon! I’ve been training Leeann W. and I’m so grateful for her! I have been struggling with radial nerve damage and tendinitis. I am trying to get my strength back and my arms and I am literally starting from scratch. I was worried Leeann might be too cautious and not push me enough, and I was worried that she might not be cautious enough and push me to do more than my body was ready for. She was the perfect amount of cautious and she pushed me past what I thought I could do. I am SO happy I found her!

I have really enjoyed all of the classes I have participated in! It gets a little over crowded on the floor early mornings when I go, but the classes are perfect size. Instructors are great! Definitely been having a great experience.

I like the fact that there are many measures being taken to keep the gym clean. Cleanliness is huge for me, especially right now in 2020. Also, the childcare is incredible! The sitters are so good with all the kids and the room is always extremely clean. I appreciate having a place to work out and take care of me while my kids can play with others. It’s a win all around!

Super overcrowded and Im sad about the loss of the movie room as I dont really care for hot yoga and used to run in the movie room all the time to avoid the crowds. Love the buddy pass and sauna however. Floyd does an awesome job keeping up with the cleanliness of the crowds!

This facility and staff are over the top!! I just recently moved here and am so glad I joined. There’s everything you need here to achieve any goal of your desire.This place is off the charts for equipment and cleanliness!! I enjoy the extended open hours. I enjoy the variety of equipment available. I like using the tanning and sauna facilities. I appreciate the clean showers and locker room and use them most times I am there. I like the smoothie bar and when my kids were younger, the kids club came in really handy.

I really enjoyed my time here, the gym is kept clean and organized and the others at the gym are very welcoming and willing to help.

So I have been going to retro for just over a month, and I have been using their personal trainer program and working out on my own and have lost over ten pounds thats rich the big 10+! I love the community there and the workers are awesome they can answer my questions any time I have one. I highly recommend going for anyone interested in a good gym with a good gym community.

Ive worked out with their trainers for a few years now and they have been amazing at helping me reach all my goals. Its a fun family friendly gym that has a little of everything for everyone. Great Gym. Has very new equipment. It gets busy around 7-9 pm. It has no hydromassage. it has two stand up tanning beds and a Sauna. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I love the place. I was in town visiting from Logan Utah back in December. Wish they had a Retro in Cache Valley.

I absolutely love this gym. The staff is amazing, the gym itself has everything you need whether you’re a pro or beginner there’s something for everyone here. As an NPC competitor I’m pretty picky about gyms I go to and the equipment they offer but retro has EVERYTHING needed. I’ve had zero issues with this gym. For the reviews complaining about attachments and weights being all over the place during the day. Please realize it is YOUR responsibility to rerack your weights and attachments so if something isn’t where it’s supposed to be it’s probably bc someone didn’t pick up after themselves like adults. The staff are not your maids. They do rerack weights and attachments in the am and end of night that people failed to pick up themselves. The gym is always clean and being cleaned multiple times a day by cleaning staff. The child care is amazing my child begs me to go to the gym to play. There is such a sense of community and safety in this gym. The owner is there fairly often so if you have problems I’m sure he would be 100% willing to deal with you directly. 10/10 would recommend this gym.

This is an okay gym, it has a good amount of machines, but personally the red and yellow colors drive me a bit crazy, and the facility looks clean, but it just feels kinda dirty. I would go back, but I would prefer other gyms over it.

Love Retro! It’s very open and the layout of the gym is really nice. There is always new equipment being set up and repairs taken care of immediately. I really enjoy the friendly environment there as well! Everyone is really nice and welcoming :) there are a lot of machines and equipment to choose from and as well a lot of space to use it! Great Gym when youre able to go. Since the Covid-19 outbreak Ive been limited to only essential exposure. I called in March to cancel membership and it was a bit crazy. The girl I talked to said shed get back to me. The payment kept coming out and I was okay with supporting them through the closure. Now in October Im getting autodialer calls threatening fees etc... Ive called every number I can find and talked to Abc financial twice. Ive emailed about cancellation. ABC financial says they can only collect, not sort out cancellation, and if I ignore the bills theyll turn me over to collections. After I get this sorted out and can safely go to a gym, I doubt Ill ever go back to Retro. Charging my wife and I months after cancellation feels wrong and the penalties in the contract are three months of additional payments. Id call it even at six months just to support local business. Heavy handed tactics using a large corporate company to enforce a contract beyond its bounds just makes me want to dig in my heels. It just doesnt seem right. If a business isnt ethical, I prefer not to support it. Enforcing a contract beyond penalties stated is unethical to me.

Ive been going to this gym for quite a while now. The equipment is mostly always working or if its down they fix it quickly. The staff is nice and seem to keep the place clean. The owners are friendly, and I like the fact that they have child care as Im having a baby soon they also let me defer my membership while I recover which I thought was nice. I like the variety of classes. I dont think Ill ever switch gyms.

Retro fitness is easily the best gym I’ve ever been to. This gym has the best equipment in town. My favorite part of the gym is the space and all of the unique equipment they have. My family has been going to Retro since it opened.I really like the variety in equipment, cardio machines, and classes. They offer a GREAT mix of SPIN, GROUP X and TEAM classes. My favorite is SPIN! They have the coolest spin room... there’s nothing like it in town.

Retro Fitness is seriously awesome! Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. I never have to wait for the equipment I want, and the classes that I’ve been to are really great. I also love that it’s always so clean! I also recommend trying the smoothies - I’ve never been disappointed by any that I’ve tried. My absolute favorite thing about Retro is the Kids’ Club. My kids love going there, and we all love the staff in there!

Gym equipment was was mostly good except there were a few equipment items that filled up and the benches were uncomfortable.My main issue is that at the end of my year long contract, I came in TWICE to try to give my 30 day notice to cancel my membership, because without the 30 day notice they would automatically charge me for month to month payments. Both attempts to avoid this failed, and I was charged for an extra month without my permission. I believe thats called theft, classy.

Great place !!! At 56 years old I am a new person physically and mentally.After having a personal trainer for a year ( Bryan ) I now have the know how on how to lift weights the correct way!There are plenty of muscle heads at gyms that think they know what is best for you individually...NOT!!!The trainers will spend a good hour with you just asking health questions and goal questions. Then base a work out best for YOUR needs!You will not find a nicer and cleaner gym in Cedar City, Utah!!

The ONLY reason I would recommend this Retro Fitness in Cedar City would be for it’s equipment. Other than that, “customer service” is poor, members & workers don’t put away the attachments around the stations (I spent at least 2 to 3 minutes each time cleaning up so I, or anybody else, wouldn’t trip), I left several messages with workers & on the owners answering machine to talk about my membership but never received a call back, etc....

Over the last twenty years I’ve worked put in hundreds of gyms all of the the country as well as multiple gyms in foreign country’s and Retro Fitness is one of if not the best all around gym that I’ve ever worked out in. If you are fortunate enough to live in Cedar City and you don’t work out there then... well I don’t even want to go there but you’re crazy because I pay three times what Retro Fitness charges to work out at Orange Theory and don’t get even a fraction of what’s available to you at Retro. So full props to the owner of Retro for providing a state of the art fitness facility in Cedar City and please bring one to Salt Lake City because me and about every one else that knows fitness will be the first in line.

I love love love this gym! As a Marine Wife we have lived all over the country and worked out in many gyms. This gym feels like family. The staff is great and helpful and the atmosphere is light and easy to be excited to keep my workout going. And I love that I can workout with my entire family! Our youngest in 15 do all 6 of us can workout together!!

We bought t-shirts, hats and hoodies so we could show our proud support for this gym. Like most good gyms, their equipment is kept clean and well maintained. What sets them apart are the staff and managers. Had had an issue but both of the managers were eventually helpful in resolving my familys concerns. No better place in Cedar to go work out!

It has come to my attention that after cancellation of my membership at your Cedar City location, an account infrequently used was charged for approximately two years post cancellation. The manager and owner have refused to refund these stolen payments quoting corporate policy as to their refusal. I will be forced to take legal action provided this is not resolved quickly. As it is clearly stated in this post I did cancel my membership, so the owners response is weak at best. But why would you trust someone who reviews their own gym to boost ratings? And why Bevin are there other reviews saying the exact same thing if I didn’t cancel? You’re a crook who won’t even talk to me himself and hides behind his manager. Which is fine because I’m sure I’ll see you in court.

I love working out at Retro. Top of the line equipment, clean workout areas, great cardio machines. Retro has everything I want. I would prefer that some of the front desk staff were more professional and not so focused on hanging out with their friends while at work, but Im not there for the staff. It doesnt necessarily detract from the workout experience, but its not a great look. Overall Retro is a great, great gym.

Best gym in Cedar. I just have the basic account but that’s all I need.They keep up with maintenance really well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something out of order for more than a few days. The equipment is nice and you have a ton of choices. The gym stays pretty clean as well.They have added both pieces of equipment I’ve requested in their suggestion box so that’s cool.All the staff are very friendly and there’s a good atmosphere. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music when there are classes going on in the turf are. If it’s on you have to have full on earphones, not earbuds unless you want to have your music up to hearing damage level if you want to listen to your own music. Not enough to lose a star over though.

Retro Fitness Gym is GREAT! I have been going there for six months and am happy and pleased. The equipment is top of the line. Lots of options. I have been working with a personal trainer and he has helped me to feel comfortable at the gym. He has taught me the right form so I dont injure myself and is pushing me to be my better self. All the staff is so welcoming and encouraging. The owners are great and on site if there happens to be a problem. Thanks!

Great gym! Even when the parking lot is busting at the seams and you think it might be too crowded inside, the gym is very open and spacious. When I have gone, and I go at random times in the day, I rarely have to wait for a machine or lifting station to open up. Classy employees and clean. Like spotless clean. You dont feel like youre in your parents basement working out like some other places Ive been to. Well lit. Awesome trainers too! I dont normally give five stars, but when I do, you know its a great place!

Retro fitness always seems new, Sharp, and capable of giving me energy for the day. I used to think exercise made you tired, but its just the opposite! I especially recommend Retro for those who get bored easily. A gym should enliven you, and this one does not disappoint.

I was hesitant to change gyms when Retro first came to town. I was happy enough with my current gym. One day I finally decided to give Retro a try and was blown away by the quality and quantity of the equipment. The staff and atmosphere are awesome. You can always find the help and advice that you are looking for.This gym is as good as any big city gym and way better than most! I just wish I would have made the move earlier!

At first I loved the service here. Friendly staff, clean equipment & never too crowded. BUT then Retro Fitness decided to take money out of my account WHEN I POSTPONED IT DUE TO MY SEIZURES BEING TOO MUCH RIGHT NOW!!! This isnt the first time Retro has done this B.S. My friend had the EXACT same thing happen to them. Took money from a postponed account. I get it, yall charge $5 to postpone & thats fine if that wouldve been the case. They charged me my normal monthly fee when I POSTPONED the account. So if youre going to tell your customers youre postponing their account, then actually do so!!! Im going to my bank after work & filing for fraudulent charges to get my money back. Ill also be changing my card, because thats the only way my friend got away from this hell hole of a business. Extremely unprofessional. & the few people I had ready to sign up to be my gym partners will now be going somewhere else so they dont get caught in this ridiculous mess. Letting EVERYONE I know to not go here, because this is seriously ridiculous.

This gym is large and spacious, always clean! The staff is so welcoming and always wheel a big fan out when I’m doing my long runs on the zero gravity runner! They go above and beyond! The owners are always there and ready to help you with a workout regimen or to help you learn about proteins and supplements that will enhance your workout experience! The daycare is a huge insemtive for me being a twin mom! My girls love it, the staff is so good with them and it shows cause they love them! The daycare is always clean and they are helping get the kids to interact with one another and play games etc. It wouldn’t matter how much I love this gym if my kids didn’t feel the same! WE LOVE coming to workout or play in the day care! Almost forgot, the smoothie bar is on point!

I moved to Cedar a year ago and did some solid research on the gyms here in Cedar. Retro caught my eye and went in, met the staff and got hooked. They keep it pretty clean and offer solid discount for students, on top of the staff being amazing!

Great gym! The one thing I dont like as much is that the music is a bit too loud.

I love Retro! There are plenty of machines, free weights and cardio equipment. My favorite part is the turf training area. Everything is always clean and really well maintained. The sauna has become a new addiction and it’s a great amenity included in my inexpensive membership. I’m stoked to have a great gym in Cedar City!

Awesome gym! Offers tons of ammenities, tanning, classes, loads of machines and free weights with lots of room to use them! My only suggestion is to go at non-peak hours. It can get way busy!

Very clean facility. I loved the theatre room while warming up on the treadmill and getting one of their delicious smoothies on my way out the door. This is a very well equipped Gym with awesome classes and instructors.

Been going to Retro for a long time and has been a fantastic gym! Lately though with more people coming and staff not staying on top of cleanliness the gym has become a very dirty place. Because of how dirty it is Im only giving 3 stars, otherwise the gym is amazing and has more equipment and better equipment then all the other gyms in Cedar City.Owner got back to me super fast. Ever since Floyd no longer works here the cleanliness in the locker rooms have gone down a lot is what Im referring to. I didnt use my real name in case of something bad coming against me.

This is my go-to gym in Cedar City! Seriously the best. The staff is super helpful and nice, its really clean, tons of great equipment...they even have boards, chains, etc. for powerlifting. 99/100 globo gyms dont have/allow that kind of stuff so I appreciate that extra 😁 Definitely would recommend!
