Good expérience there! We booked lift tickets at Briand head resort but their rental snowboard and ski were sold out so we rent our ski gear at Cedar Sports. 100 USD for the 3 of US, thats included 3 helmets, 1 google, poles, 1 ski, 3 boots and 2 snowboards. Its worth it.

These dudes are super rad. They will totally set you up with everything you need for an awesome day on the hill. They know their stuff so bring em your questions. Even if a quick video chat is needed to understand how to work the equipment because you didnt pay attention while they were explaining things, theyll be there for you. If ya gotta rent, rent here!

Five stars isn’t enough! These guys are so accommodating and great to work with. We bring in big groups (20+) and David makes sure to have a full staff so we can get in and out quick. The gear is high quality and well maintained and the shop is clean. Not to mention to prices can’t be beat. Avoid the crowds at the Brian Head lodge and rent from Cedar Sports!

First off, David was a rockstar! He was so nice and helped me pick a perfect snowboard package. I am a government worker that was furloughed, and had a few extra days to meet my family in Brian Head. He gave me the military discount and ensured everything was top notch. Everything I rented was brand new...start of the season! Prices were amazing and I would guess up to 1/2 as less if you were to rent at the resort. You can’t go wrong here and the entire process took less than 30m!

Highly recommend stopping here if you are in need of any winter sports gear! We are from California and decided to try our luck at finding a few pairs of skis. We not only found 3 pairs of skis and boots at a great price, but Noah stayed late to fit and adjust the bindings in order for us to take them with us first thing in the morning as we were headed back home. Such great costumer service. We couldn’t be more satisfied!

High Quality Gear and Rentals at prices that would be tough to beat on the world wide web. We rented skis and snowboards from them over Christmas break and gear was same as new. Skip the lines at Brian Head and rent from these guys. Service is tough to beat any where.

I rented a pair of boots from Cedar Sports that felt just fine until I got to the ski resort and tried them on with my thick wool socks—too tight. I had to rent a pair of boots and skis from the resort which were obviously more expensive than back in the city. At the end of the day, when we got back to Cedar Sports to return our equipment, we told an employee (don’t remember the name) what had happened and asked for a refund of the boots and skis we had rented at Cedar Sports. To our surprise, he refunded us WHAT WE HAD PAID AT THE RESORT, which was more than what we had paid at his store. Fantastic example of excellent customer services.

Neat little place, staff are very friendly and rental prices are great so are prices to get your board maintained. Purchasing actual gear here is a bit expensive however.

Great little family owned sports shop! David is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.I called before our ski trip to Brian Head to confirm he could mount my bindings. Our estimated arrival time for our 8hr road trip just so happened to be during their off-hours on Sunday afternoon, but he offered to meet us there anyway. When we arrived there were about 10 others waiting in the parking lot. I expected to end up waiting behind them since they were there first. However as soon as I walked in with my skis, David knew it was me and grabbed them and got to work. While he was doing the mounting, I was amazed at how efficiently his staff provided rental gear to the big group ahead of us.For a small town family owned shop, they had a pretty impressive selection of clothing and gear, as well as fair prices. Definitely worth the stop!The very few negative reviews are mostly due to the lack of off-season gear selection. Keep in mind this isnt a large corporate sporting goods store with dedicated floor space for each sport. Clearly theyre not going to have climbing gear on the shelf while the local mtns are still snow covered. However if you call in advance, Id bet they might have some in storage if you have a specific need.

Every time I drive by Cedar Sports it makes me want to stop in 1) because of the awesome art outside and 2) because the staff there are unmatched. I dont know too much about the equipment side of adventuring but Kamri explained everything so I could understand. She has an obvious love for the outdoors and the product at Cedar Sports. Definitely would recommend.

I bought a snowboard from these guys today. First snowboard Ive ever bought and I wasnt sure what I was doing. Ive been snowboarding a lot and have just always used a buddys board but decided I was going enough that I needed to buy my own. These guys gave me an INCREDIBLE deal on a board and bindings. I loved the board but when I went down the slope, I realized it wasnt the board for me because of how it fit me. I knew I needed to return the board but didnt know how that would go over with these guys. I went back and told them it just wasnt the board for me and they were incredibly understanding. They gave me a refund for the board without any hassle and I would dare say they have the best customer service Ive ever dealt with. I want to give these guys all of my business solely based on their caring and understanding service.

I went into the shop expecting it to be just like every other outdoor shop out there. Instead I was warmly greeted by the owner to see if I needed anything. We began talking and as I was new to the area I asked for information on local trails and other information. David was super knowledgeable and helpful with everything I needed. We rented kayaks and paddle boards to take down to Quail Creek State Park. They were very easy to work with and the kayaks were so easy transport because they were inflatible and fit so nice in the back of our truck. One of the paddle boards was broken and they gave us a refund. I will definitely be back. They were so great to help us out.
