Good home cooked food. Love a medium rare steak and fixings. Can never pass up the banana cream and bread puddings. Of course the chocolate fountains must be experienced too. Inexpensive all you can eat! Meets the needs of different diets and taste buds!

I was surprised at the quality of food and good flavors. Superb salad bar with most of the add one that I enjoy. Mexican food area with tasty salsa and cilantro on the side along with diced onions youve got my attention. Many dishes with seafood a personal favorite baby shrimp, crab salad, breaded medium shrimp, and cod! Yum five stars from me for cleanliness and great management of facility and quality of food.

Horrible experience. The waitress was nice. Food was cold, hard and tasted terrible. And to top it off half of my family is showing signs of food poisoning. We will not be returning. I will take the 45 minute drive to Saint George next time.Edit:One of the managers reached out to me to make things right. While I still couldn’t recommend breakfast, we attended dinner without a hitch. Staff was attentive behind the counter and everything was thoroughly cooked and fresh. Over all a good experienced for dinner.

Golden Corral in Cedar City was clean, friendly and delicious! We had a large group of 49 people on a Friday night at 8 pm and we were treated very well. There was so much delicious food to eat and the waitress staff was continually attentive us. We were in the party room for our big group which was a bonus. I would recommend this place for small parties or very large group like ours.

LOVED this golden coral. Unfortunately we showed up quite late, right as they were closing but the manager Charles opened the doors to let us in. After a long day of travel this hit the spot. The food was REALLY good, the steak - oh my - the steak was amazing! Our waitress Trina was extremely friendly and welcoming even though we’re sure she wanted to get home.Thank you Charles, Trina, the steak guy and the rest of the friendly staff for topping off our evening with your kind and friendly smiles! 😁 You’ve made us into Golden Corral fans!

I have been to plenty of Golden Corrals around the United States. The one and Cedar City Utah is very small. The salad bar is not big the dessert dessert bar is very good. There were a lot of empty containers where they had to replace the food. The soups were not stirred and had been sitting there a while. The service was great our server was excellent. I was thrilled when the one open in Henderson Nevada by my house I go there quite frequently so compared to the one in Cedar City Utah and then one in Henderson there is no comparison. some of the food at the Golden corral in Cedar City Utah was very dry. You could tell it been sitting out for quite a while. Their grilled chicken breast with dry. I did enjoy the fried Chicken it was very tender and juicy. so over all that thats why I gave it only three stars. They need to try to bring it up to the other Golden Corrals even though this one is about half the size of your normal Golden corral.

I took my family again to the Golden Corral in Cedar City for lunch. The crispy chicken was so hot and fresh, I think my piece was bone dry when I finished. I love the fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy, not to mention the tender pot roast with its vegetables. The fish is another one of my favorites and HAVE to have at least one piece per-visit. The salads are so cool and tasty and are perfect on a hot day.My kids have their favorites, which consist of BBQ beef, shrimp and cocktail sauce, hot rolls, meatloaf and fruit to name a few. With all the variety that the Cedar City Golden Corral offers, we all enjoy our meal every time.I am a huge fan of the carrot cake at the Golden Corral. A perfect treat to polish off my meal. My kids love the real ice-cream, gummy bears and of course chocolate covered strawberries, rice crispy treats and marshmallows.Thank you again Golden Corral and we will definitely be back soon.

If you go here, I HIGHLY recommend the chocolate pie they have at the dessert bar. I dont think I have ever had a dessert so tasty at a buffet. Also, this is a NEW restaurant, so even though it doesnt seem as big as some GCs I have been to, it is very clean and well maintained. The service from cashier Amanda, and waitress April ( to name a few) was outstanding. April is the one who recommended that chocolate pie to us and... wow!You can get a steak cooked to order, and mine was amazing. I also loved the bourbon chicken. The pulled pork was another of my favorites. It was moist and shredded but tender, and even though I dont used extra sauce on mine, there were many varieties of sauce to choose from, if you like that.

Had not been there for awhile, went for breakfast and found out they no longer served it. We waited until they opened for lunch. Noticed a change in the set up was cleaner, but to my surprise I found a long blonde hair it the salad they changed out the salad mix but I did not get another salad. I sat down to eat a fresh roll and found a hair inside the roll. This was a roll that was made in the restaurant. Very sad day. May be hair nets would be a good addition.

Friday night and a chance to eat out. We got seated and went to find food. Approximately 3/4 of the buffet was empty. No mashed potatoes, bourbon chicken, pot roast, pizza, meatloaf etc.... At 7pm there was no chess pie, cotton candy or chocolate fountain. My daughter asked for medium rare steak and got a piece that was black and blue still ice cold and grilled edges. $60 for old food and lack of selection. Our waitress was awesome, the food was missing.

First time visiting Golden corral buffet and I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. Perhaps some of you remember family buffets like Bonanza? This is almost like that except the food has amazing variety and great quality. Add to all that an incredibly clean environment and excellent service provided with a smile. We will definitely be back for more. Both adults and children will love the selection. Tons of fresh fruit, amazing desserts and all the hot entrees and fast food combinations you can crave. Even their cheeseburgers were one of the best! The Golden Corral is now a regular stop for us when visiting the West!

This is a great place to take a crowd. Since its a buffet, everyone gets exactly what they want, in the portions that they want. The service was great too..... attentive and friendly. Food quality was great.

Bright, clean, friendly environment. The food was really good. There was a nice selection of food and plenty of it. The smoked items were maybe a bit heavy on the smoke, but over all the food was good. Very good service too for a buffet, both from wait staff and buffet staff. The bathrooms were also clean and stocked.

Wow, very good quality for Golden corral! You might not think that would be the case, since Golden corrals are usually not big on quality and atmosphere it seems. Cedar City Golden corral is for sure a good one though. Very clean, very different atmosphere in a good way, and very good food for a buffets standards.

We had our Christmas party at Golden Corral and it was fabulous! The steak sliders are delicious! The food was so fresh and the staff are amazing -very friendly and efficient! Thank you Golden Corral!

We came when this place first opened and have returned a couple of times since. Each time the quality and atmosphere has gotten worse. Last night the food was mostly cold (Saturday at 6:00pm, this should be prime time!) and the kitchen staff were yelling criticism so loudly at each other everyone could hear it. I thought the selection would change from day to day but the food is always the exact same, just varying in how fresh/stale or hot/cold it is. It is still good, quick, cheap eats, especially for a large group.

When you first go in you pay for amount of people and your drinks. Then you give the waiter/waitress and theyll get your drinks.Now you can anything from make your own salad and you choose whatever you want for your main meal.The desserts were good and not to sweet and bathrooms were pretty clean.The only issue I have was a couple flies buzzing around, but cant really kill them in place filled with food and if the doors opening and closing a few flies will always slip through the cracks.

Place looks brand new. It seems like all the employees there love their job so the customer service was way better than most buffets.Also, the steak here is pretty good.

This is one of the nicest Golden Corrals Ive been to. Its really convenient off the freeway and the food was better than Id expected for a buffet, though pricier than Id expected too. Enjoyed the steak and shrimp and was impressed they had carton Ive cream in addition to sorry serve. Their banana cream pudding is also very good.

We chose Golden Corral for our company Thanksgiving party and needed to feed a TON of people. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even though we emptied their food bins quickly they were so fast at replacing them with new ones and making sure everyone had a great time. Thank you!

Best golden coral experience Ive had! Ive been to the St. George and few in Denver over the years and never really liked it so I was hesitant on going there today but was pleasantly surprised. Lunch prices were great and the food was fresh and yummy. Will return.

Place seems to have popped up out of nowhere and Im glad it did. Its a good size buffet so the selection is great and the food was good. We got there about 9pm on a weekday. Even the fried chicken from under a heat lamp was juicy and tasted great. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Im sure we will be eating there more regularly.

Always a great place to eat. Most of the food is fresh. But sometimes the veggies are a little older than I like. But will continue to eat there. The prices and help make it great.

Waitress didnt refill our drinks, 2nd time in a row this has happened. If youre going to charge 3 dollars for a soda at least keep them coming.... food is always good tho.

Friendly service! Good deal, especially if you want to feed hungry CHILDREN. Free under the age of three, $5 under the age of 9. It was a good deal for some single moms. Look at this baby enjoying a full tummy and the chocolate fountain.

It was nice as far as food goes. They have a great selection of steaks and meets that are so good. We were given the table next to the door that goes to the kitchen which it was not as pleasant as an experience, because that door kept hitting my chair when the waiters will come in or out with plates.

As usual the food was great but what makes Golden Corral great is the friendly people that work there. Every one Ive been to has friendly people but this one was even better because there wasnt a single employee that didnt seem happy to be there.

This is a Golden Corral but was way better than I expected, its new and clean. And I hope to return.The fellow grilling Steaks let me choose how it looked and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of the beef steak, the employees were happy, probably because of the newness just several months in operation, if you like Golden Corral, you will love this one.

Visited Golden Corral today for lunch, & definitely enjoyed it. Our servers name was Christina and she was very very helpful to my best friend and I. When we left our plates to get more, we returned to a table emptied of our used plates. When our drinks ran low, Christina made sure to replenish our drinks before we returned to our table. Loved the experience, thanks to Christina! 10/10!

When we first entered the Golden Corral in Cedar City, there were two cashiers that totally ignored us. Finally one looked up and asked how many and did not thank us or say anything after the transaction was completed. I said thank you to him out of courtesy. The cashiers first name starts with B in case management reads these reviews. I am sure this is his first job, but it is a customer service job and he failed. The guy who brought our drinks to our table was fine, and the food was decent.

Crazy busy. Hope food and service stay great once Corp leaves. Better than St. George hands down.***UPDATE***Corporate left and sadly so did the customer service. Our last waitress asked if she could just leave her tray to have us fill it up for her, from our already over filled table. We had to ask her to contact the plates. We had a party of 8. Along with not refilling drinks and pure laziness. Some people in our group had milk that wasnt getting refilled because it was on the otherside of the restaurant and she didnt want to go that far to get it. We got a different server and she was perfect. But sadly we wont be back any time soon if it all.

Visited our new Golden Corral during the grand opening on a busy Friday night and the food, as always, was great, but we werent too keen on the decor/atmosphere. But that is depends entirely on the tastes of the individual patron and whether they enjoy dining in a hospital environment or not. Either way, a great place to get all you can eat steak, wings, pizza (wonderful, by the way), salad and of coarse desserts!

Great food and great environment. Was also happy to learn about their vet luncheon. So fantastic, supporting our vets like that. Highly recommend.

Every other time, it was quite good. Very disappointed with the visit today. Not only do they not have lunch prices on Sunday, but the food quality isnt at their best either. For example, I went to the steak counter 3 times, and every time when I asked for medium what I was handed was extremely well done. One of them was ALMOST medium well, but really, waaaaaaaay too over cooked. Over all food quality was much poorer than any other visit across the board, for all three in our party

Service Dog Friendly and handicap accessible. Had a staff member tell me due to health code regulations, service dogs are not allowed next to handler at buffet. That is like saying leave your wheel chair at the table and crawl to the bar. Informed Kitchen manager, and that grossly misinformed staff member was quickly educated. The kitchen manager and several servers I have had the pleasure to be served by are top shelf professionals. The speed of how the misguided employee was brought up to speed means I will be returning instead of filing a discrimination case with Dept. Of disability. I would like to see Military discounts established and a donation location for Golden Buffet kids camp for military families.

The billboard on the highway coming into the city touts the steak every day on the buffet line at Golden Corral, but the winner on the afternoon of our visit was the grilled pork, succulent and flavorful. I love that I can also serve myself spaghetti topped with taco meat instead of red sauce, tasty popcorn shrimp, potato salad and baked fish to go with it. I was thrilled to find Brussels sprouts on the buffet, but disappointed to discover they had been cooked into mushy bitterness. (A chat with two of the cooks, encountered by chance in another restaurant, may remedy that.) Meanwhile, there was plenty else on the buffet to fill that hole. Its not inexpensive, even with seniors discount, so I recommend you go in hungry when you have a couple if hours to spend, and serve yourself a sample first so you can make a meal on exactly what suits you.

We were passing through the city and decided to stop in. It was our first time at a Golden Corral. Actually was pretty decent. Large selection, everyone in our group was able to find something they like.

We had a great experience. The food was great & had a lot of variety, and our server Tennyson was very friendly and attentive. Definitely somewhere we will go again

When I first walked in I noticed it was very cold in the restaurant. It was are anniversary so I chose to stay and wanted to have a nice lunch. Nothing was fresh everything I got was cold,the steak burgers were dry. I told the waitress. She said she let the cooks know. I had just a few bites and left hungry. I was disappointed a manager didnt come and offer a refund or say anything!

Pretty new location, so its clean and feels fresh. Food is good for a buffet, and service is nice and quick.

When we went it looked like the food had been setting out a while. The whole time we were there the brown gravy was gone and never refilled. They were really struggling to keep up with what needed attention.

This was my second time visiting this location and my last. this location is staffed with employees who have no scruples. a male cook sitting with another young male employee educating him on the buffet option of the female wait staff dropping the f bomb and other words that are not exactly recommended for the work place while on break. at the table next him sits a female staff member who was off duty and there with her young daughter who also appeared to be high up on the totem pole also having a discussion with other employees and all using language not acceptable for the work place. this is supposed to be a family restaurant not the location pub. theres a time and a place for such things and the fact that a high majority of the employees are not mindful of such etiquette. makes this an establishment I would not recommend to anyone.

We filled half the restaurant with a Christmas party during lunch time and there was always enough food.I have to raid five stars because of what the desert bar guy said to me.You cant just cover your cake in chocolate.Sorry, I thought this was America.My bad, let freedom ring.

My family has come here a few times, and each time we find ourselves disappointed.Yesterday we were here for the Sunday dinner. I had a slice of prime rib. I dont think they know how to season a prime rib. There didnt seem to be any on it. Even the au jus was completely void of flavor. I thought about getting some mashed potatoes, but when I looked at the gravy it looked like someone tried to make pudding. It was so thick that it stuck together in clumps. I made a comment to the guy behind the counter, and the lady next to me agreed, but he just walked away without a care.Bottom line, dont expect a good meal at this location. Some items are ok, but others are terrible. Its sad when the steaks that should be a highlight of the meal are just mediocre at best.

Zac was great. Kept our glasses full and the table cleared. The food was hometown delicious and the desserts were to die for.

Swoosh Canada Basketball Club we were on our way home to Canada from an 18 day US trip. We had to stay in Cedar City with our team as our bus driver ran out of time. We notice there was a GOLD CORRAL a restaurant that I had seen on commercials, so we desided to go and thank God we did as it was great food and waitress Christina was amazing making us feel right at home.. If you go by Cedar City I would most definitely go to the Goldeb Corral. We will never past cedar city again without stopping there... Thanks Coach Ron

Place is newly remodeled and lots of food options. It is crowded and noisy. Not a place to go if your looking for quiet relaxation. Great for large families that have different ideas of what they want to eat.

The service here is always great, however, it’s a bit frustrating when you come in at peak dinner hours and the trays are always empty! They should be on top of re-filling their trays especially when you are paying full price. Tonite shrimp was empty, fried chicken empty, ranch dressing etc.

This is an awesome Golden Corral. Weve been to the one in Vegas and its horrible. This location actually serves the food and the quality that they advertise. The only drawback was they said that the ice cream was still too frozen to serve, which I found somewhat absurd. Also they were out of rolls for about ten minutes. But well definitely return any time we come through town.

The service was very poor, they had no silverware had to eat with a spoon. But I think that is rare their dish washing machine was broke down. They kept telling said biggest plastic they never did so we went and found a dessert spoon to eat with they never did come back and fill our water. Although the food was very good

Went to Golden Corral in Cedar City on a Friday morning had a very bad experience with staff and the food was also bad. under cooked on some and over cooked on others. Took there review they have on there receipts and about an hour after I submitted the review I received a call from the Manager and he listened to what I had to say and offered me some certificates for me to try it again and if I had a problem I should report it to him right away. It has now been over a month and I still have not received the certificates nor a call back from as to why. If you have a problem I would talk to the female manager and still right a review. Good luck everyone.

Came in at 12 lunch time. Food service had little to no foods. Hamburgers took 20 minutes to cook.really poor excuses. Really makes someone think. Talked to mgr sluffed me off on another person guess could not be bothered. Waitress really good. Poor to little management and cooks another story. JUST A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AND I COME IN AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK NOT ANYMORE ..

A reviewer Lori Platt left a review and mentioned she had done the survey on the receipt and got a call from the manager who promised to send vouchers to Give them another try. I experienced the same thing about a week and half after they opened in Cedar City, and I did talk to the female manager. I was promised vouchers as well, provided my mailing address, and here I am, still without vouchers. So, if your promised vouchers and think that will make up for cold food or bad customer service, dont count on receiving them.FOLLOW UP: So I received a message from Golden Corral to go to a website which they provided so a Customer Care Team could follow up with me. There was nothing at that website except a message center, which I left a similar message with my email address for them to contact me, and they didnt care to respond. So please, dont think that seeing Golden Corrals response to my message was them caring, because it actually went nowhere.

Not my favorite Golden Corral. They were out of a lot of things and it took a while to get any attention. To be fair, I dont blame the staff. They were very busy and obviously didnt have enough people working.
