They were a life saver for me traveling through. 6:30pm on a Sunday and on Father’s Day, they left a note in the door with her cell phone to call in case of emergency. They came immediately, had great tires for my boat trailer, and didn’t charge me anything extra for the service.

We were introduced to Doug Vance years ago for work on our diesel truck. Since then we have been loyal, devoted, happy customers. Doug works hard, is very experienced and knowledgeable about our GM Diesel, and our other gas engine vehicles and is fair with his prices. He backs up his work and is without doubt the most professional and experienced mechanic we have encountered in 25 years. He saved our bacon on a recent disaster the left us stranded in north Vegas. He and his wife and baby drove 2 hours to reach us, fix the nightmare that we caused ourselves with our diesel truck and got us up and running and back on the road and his knowledge and expertise of diesel engines prevented our diesel engine truck from being permanently damaged. You cannot go wrong with Vance Automotive !!

They have been diligently caring for my vehicle for years. Love Doug & Marilees practical and honest approach. Everything is explained so I really understand what is going on... and theyre unwilling to do work that isnt necessary or could waste your money - almost unheard of in this industry! Look.. flat tire at 9pm on a Saturday post Covid. Called everywhere. No one answers except 1. I explain that I need to get on the road and that I am stuck. He said... “let me put on my boots, I will be right there”... shows up 10 minutes later. He fixes the tire, finds the same problem on the other tire... I end up replacing both tires and he says, thank you for the business. He also checked my hub nut on the trailer at no charge. Tightened it all up and we were on the road again. Vance is an incredible human and really helped me out. He knows what he is doing. Please support his business... I don’t live in Cedar City, or else I would for sure. Amazing! -Aaron

I went in a few days ago thinking my truck needed a new AC belt, come to find that it wasnt just the belt but the whole tensioner and bearing assembly. Well, they called around and found the part and had it fixed and ready in less than a handful of hours. Great service, definitely recommend. Fair pricing.

This is an incredible family owned business. They will go the extra mile to ensure your automotive needs are taken care of. They treat everyone with the same respect and will not tell you that there are issues to be fixed that are not needed. Doug is experienced and great at all types of mechanic work. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment! They are honest, kind, very reasonably priced. They bent over backwards to help my daughter when her car broke down as she was headed out of town for the weekend—even willing to stay late on a Friday evening to help her be able to travel. They have been so patient and kind in educating us about the problems and repairs needed, and saved us from a $1900 unneeded repair that was misdiagnosed at a different shop. We can’t say thank you enough!!

They took amazing care of us. Quality service and work. I felt like we underpaid. Extremely reasonably priced. Our truck broke down on the way home from St. George. We had nowhere to go. They stayed after closing time to fix it for us so we could be on our way. So grateful to them.

The guy who owns this place is 500 times better than the previous owner, the two who works there are super nice and helpful. they take their time and explain what happened and they dont try and rip you off. I really recommend them if you are having car trouble!!!!

Car broke down, while traveling through, I called my home mechanic where I live. He told me I needed to get it repaired asap. He told me how much it should be. Vance automotive quoted me $100 more than it should cost. I called other repair shops in the area and they all were $100 less so I went else where. Make sure sure you get quote from other shops before using them.

He came and helped another man past hours and then let us use air for free! He has a great business and very professional.

My air conditioning broke on my drive to Cedar City. They took my car and started working on it immediately. I’m no car expert, but Doug explained what he was going to do and how much everything would cost. After he looked at it, he explained what my options were. He was really helpful and honest. The car part I needed would have taken too long to deliver (short stay in Cedar City), so in the end they didn’t even charge me for the tests and work they had done on my car. Really nice, really helpful, really genuine. Would definitely recommend.

I have known Doug for about a year.. I will use no one else!! He has replaced an engine for me in a Jeep, and has also replaced injectors in my Yukon. He was able to do it for 1/2 the price of the local dealer and is as honest as the day is long. If you dont use Vance, you should!

Sunday in cedar city not much open finished a nice camp trip found screw in tire Doug came down opened his garage and pulled the screw out luck had it no puncher he refused to take any money even show i interrupted his nascar race now thats service thanks Doug
