In 2017 Universal Windows Direct replaced all the siding and windows on my house. The cost was very affordable and the workmanship was outstanding. Chris Harden and his company were always on time and very professional. Four years later one(1) of my windows developed an issued and fogged up. I contacted Chris Harden and he assisted me in reporting the issue to the manufacturer (on Line). The Manufacturer was very courteous and helpful. Usually i find most companys dont support issues after the work is done and payment is made. Not Chris Harden and his company. Even after four years he still treated me like he installed my windows yesterday. Once my replacement window arrived Chris Harden had two of his men come to my house and installed the new one. Great job by an honest company ran by an honest man.

My electric bill was running $600 per month with the heat or AC on. I had universal windows replace my windows and siding almost 3 years ago. I had them install the siding with insulation in it. It was well worth the cost. My electric bill is now around $300 per moth with the AC or heat running! I figure within another 5 to 6 years I will have totally recouped all my cost. Plus I love the windows--smooth and easy to clean. I had those cheap builders grade windows for about 18 years and was so glad to get rid of them! Thank you guys!!!

Through some crazy circumstances surrounding our heating, we needed to have a window replaced in our house in order to get our heating fixed and especially quickly because my wife is about to have our second child. After calling some other window businesses and finding out that most required you to buy a minimum number of windows this time of year, I found Universal Windows through their A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau site and through the recommendation of one of the other window companies. Chris told me that they would be able to do the one window and went above and beyond to help us out considering our time crunch of needing to get the window replaced. He finished the job yesterday in a short time frame and the result looked great. Very very thankful for them and would highly recommend.

Chris and his crew were very nice and professional. Chris met with us to come up with a solution to our moldy screen-porch ceiling. The crew did a great job installing bead-board, vinyl ceiling and cleaning up afterward. We love the new look and are thrilled that we will never have to repaint it or wash it with bleach (which was a temporary solution, at best).

Chris Hardens estimate was the lowest of three we obtained. He and his crew replaced the windows in our 80 year old renovated home, and they turned out wonderful! We love them. They give our home a clean and updated look and work without pulling and pushing. The workmen were respectful and professional and they knew what they were doing. First, Universal instlaled 4 sets of sliding glass doors, then I had 11 windows installed several months later. I was impressed with them from the very first contact I had with their salesman. Chris, the president of the company, was very involved in determining what I wanted and making sure I got it, as was the salesman, Hammond. The installers worked painstakingly to make sure everything was done right. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to several others.

I can’t say enough about our window replacement experience with Chris Harden! So professional, the estimate was very fair - we decided to change ALL of our windows instead of just a few at a time - and the installers did an amazing job. We had 12 windows replaced! All different sizes and variations, and they left zero trace that they were even there - inside and outside . Bobby, who installed the aluminum wrapping was very meticulous and took time to show me how to tilt back the windows for easy cleaning and also a safety feature on the windows which was an added bonus . It’s completely changed the look of our house . Our air units don’t come on nearly as much as they used to and the windows are a great buffer against outside noise.Come winter , Chris will be replacing all of our old vinyl siding with hardi-board to which we are really looking forward !

For more information, please read on...We bought 70s modern style home complete with ugly, rotted wood siding and 40 year old windows. Our goal was to update everything while maintaining the vertical look of the siding, due to the architecture/shape of the home.Chris and Bubba came in, listened to our goals, took some measurements, and quickly recommended this board and batten siding and windows to meet our needs.What was done: New vertical siding installed, rotting wood paneling replaced where needed, all new windows. (The removal of the front wood deck and replacement of front door were done by me, prior to this job.)Special Attention: We have a daughter with special needs, and they helped us configure her bedroom windows with the correct type of (tempered) glass for safety purposes in case she breaks one of the windows.Communication: Chris and Bubba responded to my texts or phone calls within hours, and always the same business day. They were extremely communicative throughout the project, and they were very clearly in sync and on the same page. If I had a conversation with Chris at 1pm, and then spoke with Bubba at 3pm, Bubba knew what Chris and I had discussed and there was no time lost in getting everyone up to speed.Follow-up: Chris personally followed up with me after the job was complete, for any questions or concerns I had about leftover details.
